Unique Events was a one-stop-shop for our perfect wedding day. We utilized the team for decor, flowers, DJ, and a photobooth. Our wedding day was a visual masterpiece, all thanks to the remarkable talents of Erin Martin. As our creative director, Erin not only conceptualized but also flawlessly executed the design plan for all our decor and flowers, transforming our wedding venue into a breathtaking wonderland. Her exceptional organizational skills, creativity, and kindness made our wedding planning journey an absolute joy. Working with Erin was an absolute pleasure. Her warm and kind personality made us feel like we were working with a friend rather than a vendor. She was always accessible, responsive, and receptive to our questions and ideas. Her professional yet approachable demeanor put us at ease throughout the planning process. We utilized Unique Events for our DJ, as well, and had the pleasure of working with Avery Karkosh. Our wedding reception was an absolute blast, and it's all thanks to the incredible talent of Avery! From the moment the music started until the last song played, Avery created an unforgettable atmosphere that had everyone on their feet and dancing the night away. Avery helped keep the event on track and ensuring smooth transitions between different parts of the reception. The on-site attendant was friendly and helpful, ensuring that the photobooth ran smoothly throughout the evening. They encouraged guests to strike poses, use props, and have a great time, which created a lively and fun atmosphere. Erin and her team were a joy to work with! They decorated for two different ceremonies (one Hindu and one Jewish) and a large reception all in one day. The décor was absolutely fabulous; we got compliments the entire day. They really helped us create a dream wedding. Our mandap and chuppah were both distinct and gorgeous. The reception ballroom was straight out of a movie. The flowers they used in the altars, bouquets and centerpieces were fresh and elegant. We also rented string lights, cutlery, table clothes, chairs, place settings, and a light-up LED dance floor, all that fit our theme perfectly. I love that Unique Events does literally everything for you, all under one vendor. It kept everything super simple for us. We highly recommend Unique Events!

Erin was great to work with! She was so responsive to all my questions and revisions throughout the event design process. She had so many great suggestions to make our wedding day look exactly how I wanted, within our budget. The day of our wedding the decor and florals were so gorgeous and exactly what I envisioned, without having to deal with any of the prep or logistics. And our DJ through UE was amazing!!! He met with us for a couple hours well before our wedding to get our vibe, what our plans were for the dance floor, the flow of our day, how to say everyone's names, etc. And he captured exactly what we wanted PERFECTLY. If you hire UE for event design, flowers and DJ so much stress will be taken off your shoulders and you won't regret it!

Thank you to Unique Events for making our wedding weekend a beautiful and seamless event for our! DJ AVERY - The Best!! Our wedding guests are still talking about the dance floor - it was non-stop fun the entire night and a great mix of music to keep all of our guests enjoying. Kelli was our day of coordinator and was truly amazing. She was so organized, there whenever needed and made everything go smoothly. I shared a list of what I needed help with and she went above and beyond!! Jessica assisted with our rental equipment that pulled together our version. The communication and recommendations were fantastic and a huge help in making our weekend come together. Thank you to the wonderful UE team - wouldn't have been the same without you all!

Brian was the BEST DJ! He was so good we had other engaged couples at our wedding get his contact for their weddings! He had everything down to a science. He was able to understand the vibe we were going for, and recommend music accordingly. He answered questions we didn’t even know we had. He kept our timeline on track, and checked in with us accordingly! Such a great professional, and so gifted at what he does! We also hired Unique Events for lighting, and they were phenomenal! Jessica and Travis coordinated it all, and helped us understand what would look good from a design standpoint. They helped narrow down uplight colors, and had the whole bistro lighting set up in no time. All-in-all, hire Unique Events! We actually wished we would’ve hired them for floral too, because if they nailed DJ and Lighting this good there’s no doubt in my mind they would’ve blown our floral vision out of the water.

We were SO impressed with Unique Events for our wedding!! I would recommend them to anyone planning an event! We worked closely with Erin and Glen, and they were wonderful and professional! They made the wedding planning process so fun and stress-free! We showed them inspiration pictures, and they nailed it! We had a dream wedding, because of them! Thank you guys for everything!!! We hired Brian from Unique Events to DJ our wedding and run sound at our outdoor ceremony. Not only was he the sweetest, he helped make our day absolutely perfect. He was a charming emcee who kept the night moving, a total professional each step of the way, AND he kept the dance floor popping all night long. We loved him! We also hired Unique for our photobooth and a few rentals. This experience was also great. The team at Unique have weddings down to a SCIENCE, and we always felt like we were in great hands.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience working with Unique Events! My husband and I got married in May of 2022 about 3 hours from our home. We were concerned this would make planning or execution of the details more difficult, however Unique Events worked with the on-site coordinator to make everything seamless. Ashley was our contact at Unique Events, and she was phenomenal to work with. I knew I wanted our wedding to have a certain look and feel, but had a difficult time articulating it. After our initial conversation, I received a detail design plan that gave me a lot of confidence. Not only was Ashley open to the (minor) edits and feedback I gave on the initial design plan, when the day came she absolutely KILLED it. It was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined on our budget! Not only was the venue stunning, but Ashley went above and beyond that day. She also was open to adding on last-minute items (like printed programs for our ceremony) without a single moment of hesitation. Unique Events made everything so simple. My husband and I did not have to think about coordinating a single detail of the decor. I'll close this review with a story that I think exemplifies the kind of service you can expect from Unique Events. The morning of our wedding, my bridal party and I were getting ready at one house within the resort and my husband and his groomsmen were at another. My soon-to-be mother-in-law was supposed to take the resort shuttle to come get her makeup done with us, but something went wrong and the shuttle did not show up. Because of the remote location of the resort, we had very little cell service and were having a difficult time determining what was going on. Ashley arrived to drop off the bridal/bridesmaids' flowers, and realized what was happening. Imagine my surprise when she pulled up again about 20 minutes later with my mother-in-law in the car! She had gone to the other house to drop off the boutonnieres to the groomsmen, and offered my mother-in-law a ride back. Crisis averted! Working with Unique Events made our day easy, beautiful, and unforgettable. They were definitely on the higher end of our budget, but it was worth every single dollar. I highly recommend working with this company!

I was very disappointed with unique events. The florist was not interested in helping me with my order because I only wanted bridal party flowers and arch flowers (which would have met their minimum). Because I didn’t want a huge order or rentals, the florist seemed uninterested in my business. I received an email the next day saying he was unable to work with me. He didn’t even take the time to look into flower arrangements that he told me he was going to do. Don’t waste your time unless you plan to spend several thousand dollars.

We were impressed throughout the entire planning process. They worked with us to create a night that was unique to us and it only took two phone calls and a few emails. Also, we can’t say enough good things about our DJ, Avery. We had so many people out in the dance floor all night that we extended our reception an extra hour. Multiple guests commented that they have never seen a full dance floor for the entirety of a wedding reception. Thanks again!

All I can say is WOW. From our first consultation, to the planning process, through the execution of our wedding I was absolutely blown away with the design and help with our wedding. I am a huge planner and very organized -- so I didn't think I would need help with our design or set up of our wedding day but let me tell you, I would pay for UE 10X over again. If you don't have Erin in your life, boy do you need to find her for your big day. No matter how much or how little you need her -- she will turn your wedding visions into a complete dream. 10/10 recommend Unique Events. 20/10 recommend Erin Martin. Book early, she's the best!

Erin and Glen were a dream to work with! I showed them a few pictures and they ran and made my vision come true! Erin was more than willing to make changes as things arose and was so quick to respond to all my questions. Unique Events was such a joy to work with for our daughter’s wedding! They transformed our event space into a magical dream. Kelli, Ashley and Travis Hempstead made the evening, and the days and weeks leading up to it, more or less stress-free. What would we have done without them?

Erin, Glen & the entire Unique Events team made my wedding day absolutely perfect!!! They were incredibly organized and responsive throughout the planning process. They even completely transformed our venue from ceremony to reception for 275 people in an hour!! The floral and decor were the talk of the day and I cannot recommend Unique Events enough for any and every event you may have! DREAM TEAM!

Glen at Unique Events was AMAZING to work with for our intimate 2020 ceremony and our 2021 wedding reception! He made my visions of a floral arch and a flower girl wagon a reality. My bridal bouquets were so incredibly beautiful both brought me to tears! Both years everyone could not stop talking about how gorgeous our flowers were. Glen was so easy and fun to work with and reasonably priced and worked with me to stay within my budget. I recommend Glen and Unique Events to anyone looking for a florist for their wedding or any event!

We used UE's design service and worked with Ashley Murphy for our wedding day, and could not have been more happy with this decision! Ashley was able to bring my vision to life and then some. Both Travis H and Travis N from Unique Events were such a pleasure to work with. Travis H was the DJ for our wedding and he did an AMAZING job! I highly highly recommend using Unique Events for your DJ or any other part of your wedding. They are so easy to work with, extremely professional yet personable, and not pushy to use their services at all. We used them for our DJ and our photobooth (Pylon). Both were such a hit and we got lots of compliments! Thank you both again for helping create such a perfect day.

Unique Events helped to make my wedding vision a reality! Erin was fantastic to work with!! She listened to my ideas and helped us to create a design that was elegant, classy & within our budget. Erin also worked really well with my wedding planner so everyone was on the same page. The items we rented were top notch. Erin and UE staff even designed and created a trellis with greenery and Edison bulb lighting to go over the head table. It was gorgeous and exactly what I had envisioned. The most popular item that we rented however was the LED dance floor. It was a HUGE hit! Everyone loved it and our dance floor was filled until the end of the night. I would absolutely recommend Unique Events for your wedding reception or event. They are A+

When my daughter first mentioned the idea of hiring Unique Events I was hesitant. It sounded unnecessary and expensive. I went to her second meeting with them and started to understand why she wanted to hire them. Within a few weeks, I fully understood why this was going to be a good investment in such a special day. This team of professionals worked tirelessly to present creative idea after creative idea to my daughter. They also stayed within the budget we gave them. Their services made this day stress free and absolutely perfect - literally. We worked with Hannah for event design and implementation, floral, and rentals. Our DJ, Travis, spent time with the bride and groom to understand their vision and he implemented flawlessly even taking on a few tasks not traditional for a DJ. I have no regrets hiring this team and can say with confidence they are worth every penny.

We used Unique Events DJ service for our wedding. Travis H did a great job and not only kept the dance floor moving, but they kept our reception stress free by keeping things moving along and we didn't have to think about a thing after we made our grand entrance until we left. Travis and everybody involved with UE helped make our wedding day equal parts smooth and INCREDIBLY FUN! We had all of our linens and dinner stuff brought in by UE on top of them taking care of the DJ duties. Before our day, we met with Travis and discussed what songs we want/didn't want and he got a wonderful sense of the vibe we wanted for our party. Both in the meeting and at our venue, we could tell Travis was a PRO and this was not his first wedding...we really felt in good hands. After my wife and I ate dinner, we walked around to all our tables to thank guests, and every few minutes Travis would come up to us, without interrupting, and fill us in on how much time we had before speeches, first dances, etc. AND he offered to get us a drink each time :). He helped create the schedule of events for the night so we felt he was completely on the ball and helped my wife and I focus on each other and the guests without worrying about logistics or timing. The music was also ON POINT as was our intro, first dances, and everything else that was handled by Travis and UE staff. They brought in a photo booth/mirror thing that our guests LOVED...they also brought in all the props to be used for the booth and even gave us a thumb drive with all the pictures from the booth to have after the wedding. Overall, we felt incredibly taken care of and I would encourage anybody considering using UE to absolutely have these guys on your wedding team!

Unique Events is Amazing!! We had a big wedding and had them do our flowers and everything for our reception. They exceeded our expectations! I highly recommend them and ask for Hannah, she is awesome. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Travis Hempstead was an incredible DJ. My wife and I were very particular about not only the songs played at our reception but also MC'ing most of it ourselves with family members. Travis was patient, accommodating, and helped us keep on track many times throughout the evening. He even rose to the occasion extending our last song several times so that we could be on the dance floor after a family member's minor medical emergency. He played the perfect mix using almost every song we requested along with others he selected that accented our picks and read the room just right. He had the dance floor packed all night and the energy was through the roof! He was a pleasure to work with and truly executed our vision for our reception. I can't say it enough, you want this guy DJ'ing your wedding!

Just like all the other reviews on here, we couldn't be happier with our choice to use Unique Events! Bobby was our DJ and he was attentive, communicative, adaptive and so much fun! Our dance party was an absolute hit and he made it meaningful for everybody. I was nervous about the fact we didn't "meet" our DJ until the week of the wedding, but it was an absolute breeze. These DJ's are as good as you can get! Sure fire way to nail your reception!

Travis and Unique Events saved our outdoor wedding! When sprinkles threatened to foil all our hard work to get an outdoor altar and seating, Travis took the lead in deciding whether our wedding had to be moved indoors. We went through Plan A, Plan B, C and D before Travis, who was diligently monitoring the weather, noticed that if we postponed 10 minutes, we could still be outside! He was right! Even though he had a lot of fancy equipment and he could easily have said we had to move indoors, Travis never lost sight of our desire to be outdoors--and he made it happen!

This company provided perfect service for our wedding. We used their DJ Service (Travis H is incredible!) and rented chairs. Our expectations were BEYOND met! From initial consultation to follow-up after the wedding, they did not miss a beat. We worked with Travis H. through the majority of the process and he put our minds at ease from the first time we spoke. The day of the wedding he rocked it. We have him to thank for the positive energy and packed dance floor all night long! It's hard to put into words how great he was. I know if you go with Unique Events you will not be disappointed one bit!

We cannot thank Unique Events and our DJ, Bobby Abellana, for helping make our reception SO awesome! We met with him the week of our wedding and he was so thorough in helping us pick all of the music we needed for intros, cake cutting, speeches, etc. At our reception Bobby helped keep the night moving along and on schedule. When it was time for the dancing to start, Bobby played the best music that kept the dance floor full for the entire night - we got so many compliments on how awesome the tunes were. I really appreciated that he checked in with me throughout the night to make sure we were on the same page and ready to move on to the next thing like speeches, shoe game, ect. I can't begin to explain how wonderful Riley Mullane was to work with as our wedding DJ! We couldn't have asked for anyone better! We planned our wedding in Illinois for a year and a half while my husband and I juggled a long distance relationship as I was in Colorado for medical school and his constant communication whether it was through email, FaceTime, or in person, quick responsiveness to our ENDLESS emails and questions, and overall amazing and kind personality made us feel so calm, excited, and prepared for and during our wedding! Everything flowed so smoothly and we are so grateful for his constant communication leading up to the day and most importantly the day of! We just feel so lucky to have had him and it seriously felt like it was the best day of our lives and the best it could ever be! Being Dominican I was worried about finding a DJ that could incorporate the spanish music of my culture with the music of my husband's caucasian family but he blended our cultures so beautifully and was so willing to learn about the music of my country! All of our guests have been raving about how much fun our wedding was as we literally had the dance floor packed ALL night and were all sore the next day! He is such a genuine, kind, wonderful, talented, and amazing soul and it was an honor working with him and gaining a friend! Riley made us feel so comfortable as soon as we met with him that we did not even consider other companies. We were certainly not disappointed with the services Unique Events provided for our wedding day! The comfortable Riley provided us prior to the day was a great relief for that actual wedding day and it was so nice knowing that good decisions were going to be made without us having to be continuously asked on the wedding day. Riley and the entire Unique Events staff was absolutely amazing! They were extremely easy to work with and very accomdating! Riley was AMAZING! Living out of state, he made evertyhing extrememly easy. He is very professional, and does a wonderful job catering to guests. As we arrived for our grand entrance my husband decided to switch our song 30 seconds before walking in, and Riley was able to make that happen! Not only did he make it happen, but it was so smooth like it was planned the entire time, and he even knew that the song had a slow start and played the part we wanted without even telling him. I highly recommned Riley! Everyone loves him, and our dance floor was absolutley packed from the time it opened unitl last call.

Avery was our DJ for our NYE '17 wedding reception, and he did such an AMAZING job. The DJ plays such a huge role in the flow of the reception and we were completely confident in Avery to keep everything running smoothly.
