Love this place

I was a bridesmaid in a wedding this past weekend and we bought our dresses from this shop. I’m currently 8 months pregnant and I asked what size I should order. I was told to order huge size and was told “it’s easier to take the dress in rather than out.” So I took their advice and ordered the size I was told to which turns out to be 3-4 times bigger than it should have been according to the seamstress. The chest in the dress was so big that the seamstress had to pretty much recreate it and I was charged double. While talking to the other bridesmaids, they were also all told to order sizes way too big. One girl who ordered a size 10 was told to order 16... turns out, if you order size 16 or higher, you get charged more. Seems like they were doing this to the whole bridal party.

My dress was beautiful, but it was a process to get it. I bought a floor model, which meant that it had been tried on and it did have some dirt on it, as well as some beading that needed to be fixed. At the time we put down the deposit, we were told that they would send the dress out to be cleaned and beading would be fixed to make the dress look new. However, when it came time to pick the dress up, it was still dirty. They stated that they had sent the dress out 2x to be cleaned and that was the best they could do. It did not look as though it had been cleaned and had lint at the bottom. They had to scrub the dress with a cleaning solution while we waited for about 2 hours. They did waive the cost of my bustle for my inconvenience, but still, it was very stressful to come in to a dirty dress 4 days before my wedding. In addition to this, I noticed that even when I had an appointment to try on my dress, they were always backed up with customers and I often had to wait a long time to be serviced. Also, almost the entire time I was getting pinned for the alterations, the seamstress was on her phone. I think that is very unprofessional. Finally, on the day we went tohave alterations done, we were waiting late and the store was closed. They took that oppurutnity to take shots of alcohol while we were still waiting on our alterations. UNPROFESSIONAL.

Immediately turned off. I called the shop to inquire about a trunk show appointment. Upon answering the phone the employee was yelling to someone in the background. I'm not even sure she said hello. I asked if they are still taking appointments she said no and hung up. This first impression alone is the reason I will not be shopping here and I fully intend on informing the designer of the trunk show of my experience and loosing out on a customer.

I would not recommend this place to anyone they were not friendly or accomodatung I put a dress on layaway to purchase but found a better option elsewhere I tried to get an in store credit and they refused so I had to take them. to small claims

I wore two gowns for my wedding. The first was a traditional white gown which was worn for our first look. The second was a ball gown in red (it is my husband's favorite color), that I wore down the aisle much to everyone's surprise. The dress shocked everyone and brought tears to his eyes as I marched down the aisle towards him. I loved my gown and happy that I chose Unique Lady to help bring my fashion forward wedding to reality.

All of their gowns were beautiful. The only problem I have is the sales people are very unprofessional. And prices for their dresses are a bit expensive so you would expect better service.

I couldn't find a petticoat for my trumpet style dress. I didn't want to spend 50 bucks on something I would never wear again. I wanted to rent one. Searched all over and couldn't find a store that had such a deal. Called Unique Lady was so happy. They rent their slips out for 75 bucks,but 35 of that is a refundable deposit. GREAT.... Unique Lady saved the day. One word of advice is to spray the slip with Lysol, because there is no way to clean it. That's the downfall, but it worked for me.

I'd avoid this store unless you're willing to take a backseat to at least 6 girls trying on/fitting prom dresses. It was like that for all 4 of my fittings. One perk is that they include alterations in the price of the dress. All my bridesmaids bought their dresses here also. It doesn't matter. They're still more interested in the prom dress lookers.

easy to work with, sometimes very hectic and confused employees but overall very pleased with everything

The owners were very helpful and dedicated to their work. My dress was off the rack so I avoided waiting times. However whenever I came in to try on my dress for alterations they were very helpful. Price of dresses is reasonable.

It is a family atmosphere, so you never feel like a stranger.
