Up North Events is a wedding planner based in Charlevoix, MI. Owner Jenna Koeller has experience coordinating over 100 weddings at various venues throughout Northern Michigan and beyond. She loves working with engaged couples to make their wedding dreams come true. Combining her business knowledge with her passion for weddings, she continues learning through industry education opportunities to help improve the client experience. Wedding coordination packages at Up North Events help manage the final details and on-site preparation of your wedding day. The Wedding Coordination package starts you off on the right foot and takes everything off your hands for the wedding day, offering a 12-month planning checklist, trusted vendors list, vendor coordination the week of the wedding, a venue visit, and full ceremony coordination. The Coordination & Consulting package offers hands-on assistance from two months before your big day, along with access to online wedding planning tools. Need help from A to Z? Up North Events now offers full-service wedding planning and design. The team will take care of researching venues and vendors, setting up meetings and tours, obtaining quotes and proposals, developing a design plan, creating your wedding day timeline, drawing event floor plans, and all the logistics in between. ding date, especially to an area where we knew very little about the local vendors. From our initial call, it was clear Jenna was the woman for the job. She was able to fit her services to our needs and budget and found several vendors that were still available on short notice AND within our budget. She responded quickly to our questions, provided updates during her search, and gave detailed overviews on the vendors to help us choose our best fit. We would have been lost without Jenna's help. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

ression that I could plan my wedding myself and family/friends would be there the day of to help out. However, on your wedding day and days leading up everything is complete chaos and having someone there who’s only job is to help you with whatever detail needs attending to is a complete must. There’s absolutely no way my wedding would have run smoothly without her help. She was extremely organized, had all my details written down, and was there from start to finish. I had an outdoor ceremony and it stormed just as we were about to walk down the isle. Only 45 minutes later the rain stopped and Jenna had every chair dried and guests back in there sheets and I still had my dream wedding. I couldn’t recommend her enough.

Jenna Koeller
Owner
As the owner and lead wedding planner of Up North Events, I get to combine my knowledge of business management with my passion for weddings. I received a Bachelor's degree from Grand Valley State University, where I majored in hospitality, tourism, and events. I also have a minor in business and an interior design background. I began my career coordinating weddings at Castle Farms in Charlevoix and have experience coordinating over 100 weddings at venues all over Northern Michigan.
