We started out with one goal of renting top-quality equipment for weddings and events. Over time, we have learned that our clients usually have many other needs, when hosting their events, and we have a desire to make event planning as simple as possible. With this in mind, we have put together a staff of professionals with a wide variety of talents and skills that can help in many areas when it comes to planning and hosting an event.

This company was perfect from start to finish while planning our wedding! They helped me plan the lighting for our reception tent and it turned out like a dream. Every person I came in contact with was very professional, knowledgeable, and patient as I decided on the final arrangement. They were easy to contact and even helped me change the plan around a few different times. Hire them for a seamless set up and they will help your dreams become reality 💕
Let me start by saying I hardly leave reviews, good or bad, but for such important events such as your wedding day, I believe an honest review is more than necessary, and consider this more of a warning than anything.
We met with this company a couple of months ago to acquire their services and were overall pleased with what they had to offer. However, one concern I immediately had was the lack of professionalism when it came to their photography. It being such an expensive necessity for your big day, you expect professional photos and these just were NOT. I flipped through their album during this meeting and if you're looking for the standard quality of wedding photos you're used to always seeing (shots with the clarity focused in on the couple/ people in the photos while the background is somewhat blurred/ out of focus- a very basic expectation for modern wedding photos), then DO NOT use them for photography at the very least! Their photography is more on par with a family member who brings their nice Nikon to take your photos, but you will not have the standard professional look most want on their wedding day- just extremely basic hold up the camera and snap the photo style. Also, he seemed to be a fan of using flash in most dimly lit settings which I know, I said dimly lit, but I'm positive I've never seen true professionals use flash during receptions and such- they simply adjust the camera settings accordingly rather than ever taint the quality of the photos with a cheesy flash of blue light.
The other highly unprofessional issue we encountered was being ignored and completely forgotten about after taking the time out of our work week and spending our gas money to go meet with them, and then calling SEVERAL times in the following days to ask for the pricing package that we were initially told we should have by the very same evening of the day which met with them. Now, my guess is that because of motivations led by monetary greed, they completely ditched us after our meeting because our event venue already included a lot of the basic decor (chairs, tables, table runners, seat covers, chargers, etc) and so we didn't need these additional items rented through Upstate Event Services. We needed staffing, a few extra tables, photography, PLENTY which should have still qualify us as valued customers, but apparently a few dollars lost on details means more to them than even remotely decent customer service. And even if they didn't care to offer their services to us any longer due to this, at the VERY least they could have responded and told us this during one of our many phone calls inquiring about the pricing package and yet, we were returned with zero communication and only excuses that it would be sent to us shortly. We never received the package or even heard from them again. Luckily we found some true professionals due to this, so it was kind of a blessing in disguise! But fair warning to all planning their big day, I truly doubt you could hardly trust them to even show up, yet alone receive professional service and no one needs that risk for such an important event!! Please do not use them, its clear money is their ONLY concern after this experience!!
David did a great job officiating our wedding! He was very helpful at the rehearsal. David made sure he got to know us a little so that he could make our vows more personal which I loved.
The Upstate Event Services team was incredible to work while planning our wedding. They were so helpful from day one providing us promptly with quotes on our requested rental items. They answered all of our questions and helped us pick out exactly what we needed. We made several changes throughout the planning process and they were always eager to help and adjust our order. On the day of, they went above and beyond while delivering and setting out the rented tables and chairs. All the rented items were great quality and looked fabulous. They have been so easy to work with and we couldn't have found a more professional and friendly rental company to help make our wedding more than we could have dreamed! Thank you to David and the whole team at UES!
I LOVED working with Upstate Event Services. We used them for our bartenders, and they were absolutely fantastic! We also used them for a last-minute tent rental, and they were so accommodating and on-top of it.
I wish all of the vendors could be as easy to work with as Upstate Event Services! Highly recommend!
We had a wonderful experience with Upstate Event Services. They are conveniently located just across the street from our venue (Artisan Traders, 1274 Pendleton St.) and were a joy to work with, from the initial planning stages up to the final delivery. My husband and I met with Amanda months before the wedding, and she helped us figure out the number of tables, chairs, linens, etc. we needed, without trying to sell us on additional items we didn't need (a rare find in the wedding industry!). Upstate Event Services was a great value, and their staff was always willing to answer any questions and help us in any way they could. We definitely recommend them!
Omg. The invitations were very nice . The font and color was nice. The prices here are very reasonable and when you order your invitations they come back sooner than espected . They even send you extra just incase . I would recommend them for any rentals as well.
