If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I read some of the other reviews at 1 star and now see I was for sure not the first person they treated like this. They were so horrible to me that I cried for 30 minutes uncontrollably and my fiance had to console me. I was tempted to suck it up because they had the perfect dress but I didn't want that horrible experience & horrible people associated with my special day. I made the appt online the day before and got an email confirming. I told them I would be bringing someone. When I got there, we wanted to try on bridesmaid dresses & wedding dresses. They told us they couldn't accommodate that because someone had to answer the phones (not a single person called during our time there and the lady upfront sat there and did nothing the ENTIRE time). I explained we had limited time (not only that day but in general as the time to find a dress for me is running out) & we really needed to make the most of our time at each place and they still said no. We were understandably caught off guard & upset as this derailed our whole day. We decided to just look around since we were already there. I found the perfect dress but of course I wanted to look more and bring my mom before buying. When I made an appt to go back, the owner called me and instead of treating me like a customer and working with my needs and schedule or even asking why I was upset that day to see how she could improve their processes to avoid this in the future, she immediately spent 5-10 minutes accusing me and my guest of being the type of people she doesn't want in her store and that her employees determine how the appt goes and not us and that how her employees feel is what matters and not us. When in reality, it wasn't her employees fault or our fault but hers for not taking this opportunity to serve her employees and customers better by making sure each client knows the process for an appt beforehand. She also said it was my fault for not reading her site (which is a very extensive site) to know what the first appt would be like. I made three appts the night before at different places. I care for my grandparents in 24 hr shifts 3 times a week, work 12 hr days on week days, and work at least 5-8 hours on weekends. When I say I have limited time, I'm not exaggerating. When I made the appt, I just got off a 24 hr shift of watching my grandparents so I was extremely tired. So again I didn't have time to look through a site in depth to know the process and really shouldn't be expected to even if that wasn't my schedule. She could have easily said in her confirmation email the night before something like "be sure to read this link to understand our processes." However, instead of taking a look at how she runs her business, she immediately started the call and continued the whole call by blaming me, the client, and took ZERO responsibility for the situation. She didn't even try to understand why I was upset and simply said their process is their process and I needed to just comply so her employees would be happy. She said I could still come back if she decided I was worthy but that I would have to do what the stylist said. Again, I initially said yes because she was pretty much holding my dress hostage. However, after crying about it, Imrealize I want my special day to be perfect and I don't want a dress that will forever remind me of such awful people. There are way better wedding dress stores to go to. Try those other places first.

I had the best experience at Uptown Bride. I was extremely nervous going into the appointment, worried I wouldn't find exactly what I was looking for. My consultant was amazing. She walked me through every step and showed me dresses that absolutely fit my vision. She encouraged me to try a couple options that were a little different than what I had initially envisioned, but I ended up walking away with the most perfect dress. I can't say enough good things about Uptown Bride and their amazing team.

I had an amazing experience at Uptown Bride! Natesa was such an awesome stylist. She was so attentive and pulled some great dresses for me to try. She was very respectful of my budget and I bought a dress within my budget. Overall I am so glad I got my wedding dress here. We did a private room and it was so worth it.

I’m not sure of the spelling of my bridal associate I believe it is spelled Nestusa but she said I could call her Nicki she was wonderful!!!she listened to what I liked and what I didn’t want and gave me several dresses to choose from, and I found two that were beautiful absolute perfection. I brought two of my friends back to see the dresses. One of my friends was extremely shall we say opinionated and Nikki handled it with grace and professionalism I can’t speak more highly of her she did such a wonderful job. Also, he stayed within my budget and went below. My budget making sure I got the most beautiful dress at the best price.

Thank you Uptown Bridal! You made my daughter feel so special after a disaster elsewhere. We drove 3.5 hours to be told by the chain store we had scheduled with that they did not have my daughter in their system. After showing them the confirmation they finally put us with a "stylist" that brought in several dresses and disappeared. As mother of the bride, I had to help her put the dingy dresses on. Luckily my sister had a staff member that had just had an amazing experience with you all, so we went by the shop. You got us in that afternoon and by the end my daughter was is a beautiful dress crying tears of joy! I will be sending everyone I know your way.

I honestly am so grateful for Uptown Bride. I first tried on dresses at David's Bridal, and although I found a dress I liked, I wasn't completely 100% about it. I went to Uptown Bride and my consultant was Kiana G. She was absolutely incredible to work with. She brought me dresses that were my style and we were able to narrow down the dresses to my top 2. She was very attentive and asked lots of questions I wouldn't have asked myself. I said yes to the dress and I couldn't be happier! They really make you feel special! Thank you, Uptown Bride! My family and I really appreciate you going above and beyond!

I cannot say enough great things about Uptown Bride. My bridal consultant, Andrea, was absolutely fabulous! She made me feel special and really listened to what I wanted in my dress. She brought out 8 dresses for me to try on and I honestly loved all 8. We were able to narrow it down to my top 3 and I said yes to my dress!

UPDATE-this vendor has responded to me on multiple platforms including to leave their phone number so we could resolve the issue. I have called and left messages but they don’t respond, so the responses online are just for show. They don’t stand behind their work when they’re not behind their keyboards! I bought my dress at Uptown Bride. The buying experience was fine but the alterations were a disaster. My dress was originally several sizes too big but, two weeks before the wedding, after they altered it, it was almost 2 inches too small! The seamstress took the extra material out of the back instead of the sides so the entire dress was distorted, the boning in the bust was under my arms, and the entire structure was ruined. It was a horribly stressful event that put a damper on my wedding prep. The shop owner covered the remaining alterations since the first ones were so bad, but the final alterations left the dress too big in the top which ruined the look. We were only a week away from my wedding so I couldn’t risk more disastrous alterations. On the day of my wedding, one of the altered seams popped and the dress nearly fell down! It completely ruined the look of the dress and made me miserable on my wedding day. We held it up with double sided tape but it looked terrible since the top was so big and poorly fitted.

I absolutely loved going to Uptown Bride for wedding dress shopping. Everyone was so helpful and excited to help me find the perfect wedding dress for my Special Day!

This shop was super person and made me feel like a true bride. There were no more than 2 appointments going on at a time so you had the stylists attention at all times. They listened to my very specific vision and helped me find the perfect dress!

My experience at Uptown Bride was amazing!! It was the only place I went to try on wedding dresses and the only place I needed to go! My stylist, Aliyah, was EXCEPTIONAL. She really listened to my preferences and picked out dresses that aligned with what I was looking for. She listened to what I said I did and didn't like about each dress and made adjustments accordingly. The dress I ended up choosing was one she had picked for me! Uptown Bride also has a great selection of hair pieces and I ended up purchasing a hair piece that matches my decor and my dress perfectly. Additionally, I rented out the private room and it was a wonderful intimate way to celebrate wedding dress shopping with my entourage. I enjoyed the privacy of the room and also appreciated that the environment was free of young kids running around. Would definitely recommend Uptown Bride for the wedding dress of your dreams!!

In short, Uptown Bride is INCREDIBLE. I’d recommend it to anyone in the market for a dress! I’m a bridesmaid in my SIL’s wedding and got to see firsthand how amazing they were as Aliyah the stylist got her from a huge range of styles she liked to the most perfect dress. The store was fun, had a great stock of gorgeous dresses, there were no kids or big groups so it was peaceful and fun, and we got to see one of the most special moments in a great location. If you’re in Albuquerque, 10/10 recommend!!

My bridal consultant was very attentive, very respectful of my budget, and listened to everything I wanted. She pulled a great selection of amazing dresses. The dresses are fine and the seamstress is amazing. The owner, Karen, is so RUDE. I had to continuously go back for different appointments and/or issues, and every time I interacted with Karen, she was rude. Not only to my party, but to other customers. This place is great as long as you avoid Karen.

Aaliyah was my stylist and she was great! I provided her photos of what I liked before my appointment and she nailed it. She was very sweet and easy to talk to. It is a tiny shop but the individual areas to try on have plenty of room.

I went to Uptown Bride to look for a dress for my daughter's wedding. Lots of nice dresses and reasonable prices. Katiana was so very helpful and also had a good sense of style. She took her time with me and I never felt pressured to choose, which I appreciated. A terrific experience!

Aliyah was amazing and the rest of the staff as well! I felt very welcomed and comfortable finding the dress of my dreams. And I did! They covered all the bases and gave wonderful suggestions and feedback based on my preferences too. Definitely would recommend especially for the personable one-on-one experience!

First, some background. My wedding is going to be in a different state and I visited a chain bridal shop (yeah THAT one) with my family so they could be involved in the experience. I went in not having any idea of what I wanted, felt rushed in the end and pressured into buying a dress. I woke up in the middle of the night panicking, realizing I made a mistake. Uptown Bride gave me a totally different experience. The customer service was 1,000,000% better. Andrea was amazing! I had my own dressing/viewing area, she gave me a slip and corset bra to use, she helped me put the dresses on, she had me walk in the dress, and I had my mom and sister on a video call and she took my phone and showed them all the dress details. I didn't ask her to do that. That is called going above and beyond. She listed to my concerns about the dress I bought at the other shop and what I really wanted. The 2nd dress she had me try on was it! I finally had the emotional reaction that was missing from my first attempt at finding the dress. I didn't think the dress would matter that much to me, but it the end it really did and I am confident I will feel beautiful on my wedding thanks to Andrea and Uptown Bride.

I purchased my wedding dress at Uptown Bride. The service was impeccable. Aliyah was a great consultant, helping me look my best and helping me understand how all the dresses would look once they fit properly. She listened to everything I wanted and was able to make me a very happy bride. The seating was comfortable for my family, the manager was very nice and helpful as well. Highly recommend!

This was the best dress shopping experience ever! The boutique has private fitting rooms which makes for an intimate and personal experience. The staff is excellent and very kind, Aliyah is AMAZING and really knocked it out of the park with her wildcard dress ❤️

I was nervous and stressed about trying on dresses, but Aliyah was really helpful and helped me relax. She asked me questions about what kind of dresses I looked, and we tried on a few and in the end I found my dress! When changing dresses she asked me questions about my fiancé which really helped calm me.

I had such a wonderful experience trying on dresses at Uptown Bride! This experience was something I had looked forward to and thought about for many years, and I noticed I had some anxiety associated with finding the "right dress" in the days before my appointment. All of these feelings completely melted away when Aliyah, with her warm, bubbly personality, began asking me about what was important to me. She made such an effort to make sure I was being heard, and she did an excellent job at picking dresses that I loved while also giving me the opportunity to try things I might not have originally picked for myself. In the end, I found THE dress with her help! She is such a professional, extremely talented, and she gave me the most meaningful experience! Amazing Experience! During COVID-19 there has been a lot of experiences we have missed out on. Buying my dress was not one of them. Aliyah pulled the perfect dresses and Found my perfect dress, and I got to have the full unique experience with my restricted number of guest and the allowability of pictures and face time!! First of all, Karen & Stacy are amazing people! I absolutely love working with them and I knew from day one, they’d take care of me for my big day and make it as special as it could be! Aliyah was who worked with me personally to find my dream dress and O M G. She truly outdid herself! She listened to exactly what I wanted and paid attention to thee littlest of details. I’m very picky and I wanted something exactly like I saw on Pinterest as well as super unique and she found THEE one as soon as I showed her the picture! I was speechless when she brought it out. These ladies know exactly what they’re talking about!! Everyone I’ve had the privilege of working with there, has been nothing but amazing! I had my first fitting a few weeks ago and was super nervous, but their seamstress makes you feel so comfortable and makes alterations upon your request. She makes it all about you and wants you to look and feel your best. She offers suggestions since she’s the pro, but she does whatever you truly want done to your dress. I couldn’t have found a better team to work with for my special day! Thank you all so much!! I can NOT wait to walk down the aisle to my future husband in September and see the look on his face when he sees me in my one of a kind dream dress!

Need to update website they don't allow kids under 12 , manager was unprofessional. They should have said that when we booked appointment. We drove from Santa Fe. Very disappointed, they lost a sale.

Just like the star says....STAY AWAY! I had an appointment set up and had to wait for about 15 minutes extra. Once my "party" and I were escorted to our space, we waited another while for the representative to bring 3 dresses that 1-would never even go over my shoulders, and 2- were nothing like the dresses my "party" showed her. The dress I did manage to get on, smelled like B-O and when I told her about it she said, "wait here, in the dress" and disappeared again for a while. One of my bridesmaids walked out of the store, and I had to ask my maid of honor to help me out of the dress. when we saw the kind of service the ladies across from our space were getting, we realized WE WERE DEFINITELY NOT BEING TREATED like they were. It would be a shame if it was because we were the only hispanic women in the boutique; but unfortunately, that's exactly how it seemed. I left, and paid cash for my dress at Anne Matthews! That's the place to be if you want a gorgeous dress and excellent service!

I scheduled an appointment at Uptown Bride on January 4th. I guess something went wrong and it didn't save. Well the day of my appointment I showed up but I wasn't on the schedule. The owner fit me into their schedule which I was so thankful for because I live four hours away. I FOUND THE PERFECT DRESS! Olivia was very helpful and showed me some really beautiful dresses. I ended up picking the very first one I tried on. My experience was one I'll never forget!

After reading reviews, I knew I wanted to make an appointment at Uptown Bride. I went in for my first wedding dress appointment ever and left with THE DRESS. My consultant, Aliyah, was AMAZING!! She helped me find the right silhouette and then used the images I'd shown her and my input to pull the perfect dress in budget! One appointment and I have checked off one of my biggest to-dos and could not be happier with Aliyah, Karen, and the whole experience at Uptown Bride. I would definitely recommend to any and all friends/brides/people who want to find the perfect dress. :)

The shop is super cute and they have a good variety of dresses. The consultant was able to pull dresses that were my style and worked from feedback to find me the perfect dress on my first appointment! Overall it was an amazing experience!

I adored my experience at uptown bride. I was given undivided attention and my requests were very much taken into consideration. I got the princess dress of my dreams and I am so excited to marry my Prince Charming in it!

Honestly, ended up having the worst bridal experience ever. This was the 4th store I went to, I couldn't find a dress I liked anywhere. Went here the staff was friendly I had high hopes. The sales woman brought out a dress that was a bit small, but I fell in love. The manager and 2 sales women looked the dress over and said their alterations lady could definitely make it work. Met with the alterations woman, Uli (sp?), they had on site after buying the dress on the stores promise it would work and she said she could do it. We would have to let it all out and see where we were. Well, went back a month later and she says to me "thank god you lost weight, I had no idea how to make this work for you" !!!! WHAT!? We go through the appointment says she still needs to let a little out but it should fit perfectly, does the bustle and the hem. Her weight comment made me feel so uncomfortable about the dress I decide to immediately go to David's bridal and buy a cheap back up dress. Come back a month later again and the alterations woman says "you said you were going to lose weight, I cant zip it" WHAT!?!?! She told me that she didnt let any more out because I said I was going to continue to try to lose weight. She took up the shoulders which I stil dont know why since they fit perfectly before, so they didnt fit right anymore AND told me I was too fat!!!?!?!?! So here I am, 5 days before my wedding, trying to get a $1,300 (including alterations) dress fixed with one of my moms friends who tells me the dress never could've worked and needs crazy alterations to make it sort of work. The store did nothing but offer to let the zipper out because their alterations woman, Uli (sp?), said that's all it would need to fit. Well, really we are adding lace and fabric, getting rid of zippers, adding a corset tie up for extra room, and changing the front and shoulders... Thank God I had the brains to get a back up dress because I had no faith or trust in this store and their alterations lady. It has taken SOME of the stress off me and my new tailor who is trying to fix this damn dress for me. I definitely dont think I can fully blame the store because they may have worked with me if their alterations woman had been honest at the first appointment. Maybe if she had just said "this wont work" they would've given store credit or something. But definitely dont use or trust their in house alterations!!! The Uli (sp?) woman is the worst I've ever been to and will lie to get business rather than be honest in your best interest. Also, I definitely feel partially responsible in all this, but I was trusting the word of four women who do this for a living rather than my own gut. I was dumb, but hopefully someone can learn something from my first time wedding dress shopping horror story.

What a wonderful bridal shop! From start to finish, Aaliyah and everyone there made us feel so welcome. She got a great sense of what I was looking for and helped pull the right choices. I had been to another bridal shop in town because I had picked out my dream dress online. Once I got into that shop the entire experience was a disaster from start to finish. After that experience​, I thought that I was not made to wear a wedding dress and that I would not feel like a bride on my wedding day. My maid of honor booked an appointment with Uptown Bride for the following weekend and I went with these ideas in my head. The staff at Uptown Bride was incredibly helpful, professional, and made me feel special from the moment I walked in the door to the moment I walked out. The first dress I tried on made me feel beautiful and I finally got that "bridal" feeling. My consultant asked me what my budget was when my wedding was, and what styles I was looking for. With this information, she found dresses that were amazing, made me feel beautiful, and were hard to choose from at the end. But, I ACTUALLY got that moment with my family and friends where we all burst into tears. I never thought we were those people, but we knew I had found the right dress in that moment. Big thanks to Uptown Bride for this magical experience!

I absolutely loved my experience shopping for a wedding dress at Uptown Bridal in Albuquerque. From the quality of staff, to the layout of the shop, selection of dresses and price. I have been in to visit the boutique several times in the past 6 months and every time they were supportive of me and what I needed at the time. I appreciated more then anything that they were never aggressive in trying to just close a quick sale and have me on my way. I had been to other bridal stores and there were always so many different stipulations (limit of dresses you can try on, no pictures etc.) making this process stressful and disheartening. I was lucky enough to work with Jazzmin each time, she truly has a knack for guiding you along in this process. She was able to gauge my reaction each time, ask questions and then step away when necessary to give me a moment to process what I was feeling. She was very patient and truly listened to understand my vision for my dream dress. In fact, she choose my dream dress for me! I will never forget that moment of joy and relief when I finally found the dress I would say yes too! Karen was also very sweet, informative and available for any questions. She gave me different ideas for veils, the history of veils and fun wedding reception ideas to incorporate my veil after the ceremony. I am very grateful to have worked with these amazing ladies and would absolutely recommend anyone looking for their dream wedding dress to Uptown Bridal.

I was in tears when I went into their cute little boutique. My previous experiences with dress shopping had been a nightmare. By the time I had left, my whole outlook on dresses shopping had changed and I was crying tears of joy. They helped me find the most incredible dress. I would trust no one else to help make my special day absolutely perfect!

Talk about amazing! Karen and her team helped make my wedding gown dreams come true. She had a great selection of what I was looking for and the stylist I worked with was extremely patient and sweet. The salon itself is so beautiful and felt really intimate. I couldn't be happier with how easy they made the entire process. Shopping for a wedding gown was something I was looking forward to but my experience at Uptown Bride exceeded my expectations. Thank you for everything!

My mom got her wedding dress here and I got my maid of honor dress. We didn't have a lot of time but they where super helpful and found us just what we wanted. 10/10 would go here again.

Aliyah was a wonderful stylist who helped my daughter find her gorgeous wedding dress! After showing Aliyah several pictures my daughter had pinned to her Pinterest board, Aliyah was able to share several dresses she thought my daughter would like. Although we were on a budget, Aliyah managed to find absolutely beautiful, classically designed dresses that matched my daughter's style. What I loved most, aside from working with Aliyah, was that just a couple of dresses were brought to my daughter at a time so she never felt overwhelmed. Aliyah supported our decision to go home and think about the dresses my daughter liked. We were able to make an appointment to come back the following day and, with Aliyah's help, chose the perfect dress for my daughter. Aliyah was so kind, patient, and so very knowledgable. We had a wonderful experience at Uptown Bride!

I had the most amazing experience at Uptown Bride! After visiting a different store the day before and not loving anything I made a last minute appointment at Uptown Bride. I went with my mother and grandmother who loved every single dress I tried on. Aliyah asked me a couple of questions before pulling some dresses and every dress she pulled out followed what I had described perfectly. She made my experience so fun and I felt so comfortable! I actually fell in love with two dresses in particular and they helped me make an appointment the very next day to come back and try them on after taking the night to think about it. How lucky were we to have Maria as the bridal stylist for picking out my daughter's wedding dress. She knew just what to choose and made the process effortless. Everything about purchasing my dream wedding dress was amazing. Maria was incredible and clearly an expert in selecting wedding gowns. I went to Uptown Bride to try on wedding dresses for my wedding and it was the first store I went to. The store is beautiful, elegant, and private for each bride so that you feel unique and special. Aliyah was my consultant and I was so grateful for how attentive she was to me and how she listened and also made me feel special. She pulled dresses I wanted and some she thought I may like. After finding one dress that she pulled that was perfect I had another appointment at a different bridal store to try in dresses. Aliyah encouraged me to go and try on other dresses to make sure I chose the right gown. I am glad I did because the next store I went to was awful!!! There were about five different brides in one large fitting area and it was not a special or nice experience. Needless to say I went back to Uptown Bride and purchased my dream dress. Thank you Aliyah and Uprown Bride for making that day so wonderful for me.

Let me just start by saying, my experience at Uptown Bride was amazing. My mom, sister and I were welcomed by Aliyah which happened to be my stylist. She was absolutely AMAZING! She made me feel so comfortable. She picked out a dress for me that I didn't think I would end up choosing but it was my dream dress! Karen also came around when I tried on each dress and was so helpful when giving suggestions. I did go to their pop-up shop while their actual location was under construction but the pop-up shop was cute! I would HIGHLY recommend going to Uptown Bride if you're looking for superior service and beautiful dresses!
