Urban Growler Brewing Co.

The venue itself was perfect - casual, a simple wood & brick aesthetic, and it has character so you don't have to bring major decorations to transform the space. It has so much personality as is! We had about 90 people at our wedding and the size of the rooms during the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dance felt perfect. I love how our pictures turned out, and our day was amazing! If it's nice day, there's so many awesome spots for pictures outside along the various murals & brick walls. Awesome space for a dance floor & great acoustics during the ceremony. A few notes for future couples... - In my opinion a day of coordinator is a must if you are booking here. You need someone aside from UG staff to keep things moving. - The UG team wasn't always timely with email responses. In the weeks/days leading up to the wedding, we had to double email multiple times to nail down our food & beer selections for the day. - We went with buffet style mac and cheese, taco bar, and salad for our main entrees. The food was okay! The quality of normal UG food (which is AMAZING) didn't quite hold up in the buffet. In their defense, I think that's normal for buffets. We had to remind them to bring our salad dressing, and the toppings listed for the mac & cheese bar weren't all available during our wedding. They put out coffee with the dessert, but no one saw it because it was back by the beer taps. - It feels like Urban Growler is going through a lot of staff changes right now. We had some undercooked chicken at our tasting event which I believe led to a chef being fired/a new one being hired & a new events coordinator came in about 6 months ago. Overall, we didn't feel super supported in the planning process. The UG team hopped on the phone for us, but I'm glad we came with a list of questions, as it felt like we had to drive the planning forward on most of the day of logistics. - There's not a spot to get ready here - so plan to show up fully ready to go! I wouldn't change our day for a thing, and I would recommend this venue, just be ready to be a more hands on bride or groom when working with UG!

We did our rehearsal dinner in the hayloft room and it was perfect! We appreciated having private space to socialize with our guests and work out final wedding details with the bridal party. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed. The food is excellent and the variety of drinks was great! The staff at the event were very helpful and made sure everything ran smoothly. Payton is amazing! She helped us review all the details and offered insight into food/brew pairing for the best variety for our guests. She made planning the event so easy and it was perfect. I can’t say enough good things about Urban Growler and highly recommend for your event. I’ve already been raving about it to our friends and families.

Venue/brewery is beautiful, staff was professional and extremely helpful (Payton was incredible and made the day flawless), and the food was outstanding! We had the mac & cheese bar along with chicken wings, highly recommend!!!

We had our son’s rehearsal dinner at Urban Growler. I worked with Payton and her attention to detail was remarkable. She answered every question thoroughly. Everything was absolutely perfect and I would not change a thing if I had to do it all over again. We really appreciated all of the hard work that Kaylee, Claire and Riley did to make our evening perfect. Many of the guests commented on how knowledgeable and friendly they were, I appreciated that nobody had to wait in line to get a drink. I highly recommend!
