VAULT CATERING AND EVENTS

Vault Catering has been wonderful to work with; they brought exactly what we requested even though we booked them almost two years before the wedding. The food at the event tasted exactly as it did during the original tasting, and our guests couldn't stop raving about how good it was! More than one person said it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding, hands down. We had stations where guests could create their own combinations, and the staff helped to explain what the choices were and give advice about flavor combinations if asked. The staff was wonderful to work with. They were all extremely professional and friendly. We had guests with dangerous food allergies, and Vault Catering did an excellent job keeping track of who was allergic to what, and preparing the food in a way that kept everyone safe. I cannot say enough about the quality of the food and the professionalism of the service! We didn't have to worry about one thing related to the food for our wedding, which allowed us to just relax and enjoy our day. Hats off to Vault Catering!

Used Vault for catering at our wedding reception. Not only was the food more than what I expected but also guests gave me unsolicited comments on how amazing the service was. I was thrilled by the experience.

Vault catering, by far has EXCEEDED our expectations. Andy and Ryan are the most caring individuals I have ever met and they surely have passion for what they do! They are very customer oriented and made us feel confortable during the entire process – And always willing to accommodate no matter what the circumstances. During our testing, they were very welcoming and down to earth which made our decision much easier – not to mention, the food was amazing! My mom most of all LOVED Andy and Ryan ☺ We had 130 guests and we opted for Food Stations – Which are now becoming a trend. Our guests were able to have variety of options to choose from and were able mingle. We knew we wanted to feed our guests not only the most delicious food but also wanted them to have options rather than the traditional platted foods. We opted for three different stations - Michigan Local Station, Asian Station and Seafood Station – My goodness, it was a hit! Our guests were very delighted and are still the talk of our families how they have enjoyed the food. We cannot thank Vault Catering enough for making our day so joyous. We were very delighted with the Food Stations and the their staff’s attentiveness. Trust me brides and grooms – Book them! You won’t regret them, I promise you!

Hands down the best decision we made for our wedding! Vault was on the list of food vendors for Grand Rapids Public Museum and they were FANTASTIC to work with. I told them I wanted ribs and pulled pork and to come up with the rest and boy did they deliver. They had three delicious bbq sauces for our guests to choose from, along with spicy potatoes with an AMAZING chiptole mayo for dipping. They finished off the meal with green beans (served hot), a quinoa dish with roasted vegetables (for vegetarians) and cornbread. Seriously - guests are STILL raving about our food. We chose to do family-style - and with close to 200 guests Vault served everyone on time and with ease. I will also note that their staff was super friendly - something I guess I took for granted- but a friend commented she attended another wedding in GR where the servers were not friendly at all. They also really put in the effort to win our business - provided a thorough and FREE tasting to sample appetizers, meal options and even a dessert. They were very attentive and followed up with us regularly. They were also reasonable priced. I do have to emphasize there are some pretty well known caterers in GR that are starting to become pretentious - just assuming they will get your business - not great with follow up, charging crazy prices, and charging you for a tasting (even though they promise to take it off the final bill). Vault was friendly, accessible, and customized our menu to fit our wedding vibe and venue. The appetizers were also great - crab cakes, meat & cheese plates and bruschetta both passed and stationed. Cannot thank or recommend them enough!

I highly recommend Vault Catering! The food was delicious - we got so many compliments not only on how good it was but also how "pretty" it was presented. The servers were also wonderful and had everything down to a science! We also had them cater the rehearsal dinner the day before. We did a taco bar buffet, which they came and set everything up at our home while we were at the rehearsal. It was great!! They were great to work with!

Andy and Ryan are fantastic. They were very personable at the tasting and even let me schedule a second one with my fiance. Their food is delicious, fresh and presented beautifully. I had a wedding with a guest list of 160, outdoors under a tent, buffet style, then late night snacks in the barn with dancing. There were a couple minor issues which is why I didn't give 5 stars but they were minor, the salads were already on the table when the guests came to the tent for hors d'oeuvres during the cocktail hour and we got mashed potatoes instead of the roasted red skins which we asked for. Again very minor issues and no one complained, the mashed potatoes were delicious (people raved about them) and the timing issue could have been my wedding planner's fault. We had hors d'oeuvre, main dinner, had them serve our cake with coffee, and we had a late night snack and smores bar. I think we only ordered the sliders but got hot dogs AND sliders with slaw and chips. And there was more than enough food!! Infact I ended up going home with alot of late night left overs. Also they were able to accomodate our 7 vegan guests. Their prices are very reasonable and if you have a specific budget they can work with you and offer suggestions. Andy, the owner himself, ended up serving the groom and I our dinner at the head table for us. Talk about personal service! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANY BRIDE. In addition to my wedding, I use them all the time for corporate catering at my day job and NEVER have any issues. They are always professional, friendly and accomodating. They make working with them easy and they are respectful of your time. And bottom line, their food is delicious! Book them! Eat their food! You won't regret it!

Andy & Ryan are the owners, and you deal with Andy & Ryan-which I loved. These guys are very down to earth & incredibly accommodating! Everything I asked, they said yes, we can make it happen & they did!!! We got tons of compliments on the food & we had a late night hot dog stand that was a huge hit! I thought I'd have to get someone else for the late night snack when I first thought of it, but they gladly said they could and would do it. I even asked them to brew a certain brand of coffee and they did! I can't say enough good about these guys, go talk to them & taste their food before you sign with anyone else!!!

Celebration Stations is all I have to say! we chose what stations we wanted off there menus. Michigan, Chinese, and the dipping station It was like having three different types of food all at once. At first people didn't understand the concept but that quickly passed people started buzzing around about what they enjoyed the most. Highly recommend!!! Thanks to the friendly staff once again!!!!

The food was amazing! We set up a tasting a year before the actual date of our wedding and the taste was right on!! Not sure sure how the chef did it, but it was spot on. The service staff was very polite and everything was done in a timely manner. We highly recommend!!!

When I went to my tasting with Afternoon Delight I was very excited for them to cater our wedding. The food tasted great and they were affordable. However, they completely mishandled the wedding. It took 2.5 hours for our 180 guests to move through the buffet line ... I was told dinner would take one hour. They also ran out of food leaving some of our guests hungry and serving a couple tables with food from a nearby restaurant. They gave my dad about $300 to make up for the disaster and told him it was "the biggest wedding they had ever done" (I wish I would have known that!) but it doesn't make up for how much went wrong.
