Mike and Kate are true professionals with over a decade of experience managing the audio for live performances. I was lucky to be connected with them, thanks to a talented musician friend that I knew I could trust. Everything went smoothly! - No feedback noises or awkward pauses as we transitioned through ceremony, cocktail, first dance, reception, and dancing. - Mike MC'd key moments timely, preemptively had Mics ready for speakers, and que'd up the correct tracks in each instance. - Coordinated with our live band to make them sound incredible. Complicated environment - We had over 200 guests indoors and outdoors. - Music & Mics across 4 zones at the MCA in Chicago. - Ambient music outdoors was well balanced, never sounding harsh or distant. Despite entertaining 200+ guests outdoors (ceremony, cocktail, dinner), the experience was cozy and immersive. Vendor Communications - I was overthinking things to start. Mike listened to my concerns and reassured me to delegate this responsibility to him. As the Groom, I knew I did good by surrounding the event with genuine talent. - Took one run through, and didn't need to repeat ourselves. Mike knows the drill. - Mike and Kate are a lovely couple, and worked well with the other vendors. Thank you Mike & Kate!

My wife and I highly recommend Mike and Velvet Vision Media. He is incredibly responsive, attentive, and took the proactive initiative to make our wedding reception incredibly memorable that people still talk about today. He is very collaborative and is with you every step of the way. We brought a band in from out of state; Mike worked closely with the musicians in making sure they had everything they needed. He made his role look very easy and we couldn't be happier and more appreciative of everything he did.
