Where to begin? Everything about Ventosa is a dream come true. The location, food, service, and ambiance are all top notch! From the moment we met with RJ, we knew Ventosa was the venue for us. RJ was very enthusiastic and helpful. Jackie was our wedding coordinator and she went above and beyond. She made sure everything went smoothly. I had a ton of questions up to the day and she answered all of them with patience! Jackie was truly amazing and made our wedding a dream! I also want to acknowledge Phyllis and her staff for doing an awesome job to make sure we were taken care of well the day of our wedding. Ventosa is such a special place that made our dream wedding. The setting is gorgeous with the vineyards, donkeys, and lake. We loved having our ceremony at the outdoor pavilion with views of Seneca Lake. We can't wait to go back and visit!

We 100% recommend you have your wedding at ventosa vineyards because we absolutely loved ours. We were incredibly lucky to get a great date in the middle of June and the memories made here will last a lifetime. - Easy Planning: Jackie the coordinator was communicative without adding stress and had a clear plan, while also being flexible and open to our ideas. It was also a huge help that this venue coordinates all the food, beverage, linens, and chairs - all we had to do was answer a few questions. - WOW factor: from the moment we first drove up to the venue, we were hooked. From the gorgeous ceremony pavilion and terrace that overlooks the vineyard and Seneca Lake to the rustic elegance of the ballroom, we knew that Ventosa would amplify the magic of our wedding day for both us and our guests. Ultimately, we reflect that we were impressed with the value we got within the pricing range. Bonus: the payment plan was clear and the pricing model was straightforward. - Day of: Everything went so seamlessly! Everything was set up the way we imagined, staff told us where to be so that we didnt have to worry about it and we just got to enjoy our day. The covered ceremony space sheltered our guests and gave us peace of mind in the case that there would be rain on the day of our wedding. The food was absolutely delicious and our guests made a point to tell us. We knew after our tasting that the meals would impress but all of the hors doeuvres were just as delicious. We highly recommend the pork belly. Our guests also made a point to tell us how friendly the servers were which added to the good time. There are a lot of very nice venues around Geneva but Ventosa really stands out. Vendors, as well as locals around town during our wedding weekend also agreed with that take. Not to mention how much fun it was to have our wedding near Geneva- we spent all weekend around the town, running into our friends and visiting the beautiful state park, cool bars, and restaurants that make you want to come back.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Ventosa Vineyards earlier this year. Everything was perfect! We corresponded with Jackie for all of our planning needs. She was very professional and extremely timely with her correspondence. It was really a pleasure to work with her--she had everything covered. When it came time for the wedding weekend, everything was seamless. Jackie and Phylis were great to deal with. Everything from dropping off materials on the day before the wedding to helping pack the car at the end of the wedding. Food and drinks were great and the service all night was fantastic. We got unlucky with the weather for our wedding day, but Ventosa was prepared and accommodating throughout! We couldn't have picked a better location, venue or staff for our day!

Ventosa is one of the more special places you can host a wedding. The view first of all is stunning, and if you're able to enjoy a nice sunset the pictures are spectacular. The guests have multiple different locations to be during the event, but everything is within the same large area so the entire party stays essentially together. The bar is in the same room as the venue which I recommend for every event ever. On top of the venue being great, the staff was super attentive to everything my wife and I needed throughout the day and especially during the reception when we were busy with our guests. Also, the new wedding pavilion is gorgeous and if you're a fan of quality craftsmanship it's worth taking a deep look at and asking a few questions. Also donkeys! I can't recommend Ventosa enough!

Ventosa Vineyards was nothing short of incredible for our special day on 08/09/24. We currently live out of state so planning our wedding was mostly done via emails and phone calls. The staff at Ventosa was responsive, communicative and accommodating to our requests. There were a few mistakes along the way, but Ventosa's staff did their best to remedy the situation. The day of our wedding there was a downpour and flash flood warnings. Ventosa was prepared with a backup indoor ceremony plan. Luckily, we were able to have the outdoor wedding of our dreams when the weather cooperated. At no point during this switch was I bothered with phone calls, questions or problems. You definitely do not need a separate wedding coordinator or planner if you are getting married at Ventosa. The staff there is organized and dedicated to making your day everything and more.

We had our wedding at Ventosa a couple weeks ago. The views of the vineyards and lake were gorgeous! The ceremony space was beautiful. Communication with RJ and Jackie was great leading up to the day. They answered all of my questions and updated our contract several times with any updates to food/beverages/ guest count/ etc. We met with Jackie for our rehearsal and she was great and very organized! The day of our wedding, we mostly were in contact with Phyllis. She was wonderful and kept checking up on my husband and I during the night, asking if we needed anything and checked on how we were doing. Our guests raved about the food and how phenomenal it was! We knew the day would not be perfect and we had a few negative experiences. Some of my guests said they left the table to either get a drink or use the restroom and when they returned, their plate (that still had food on it) had been picked up by the waiters/ waitresses. We had a late night station, not all of the food was consumed. The staff took the leftovers back to the kitchen and did not wrap up any leftovers for us until my wedding party asked them to. Overall, we had a generally positive experience and good communication leading up to the wedding with mishaps on wedding day. Edit: RJ called my husband and I to discuss these mishaps. We are so appreciative of him reaching out to us.

My husband and I got married at Ventosa this past October and they made sure it was the best day ever. We live in NC and as everyone knows planning a wedding is stressful let alone in a completely different state. The staff was so friendly and helpful with planning and preparing for our big day. I wouldn’t have changed a thing about our day and highly recommend choosing Ventosa as your wedding venue !

We had an absolutely stellar experience working with Ventosa Vineyards to host our wedding ceremony and reception in September 2023. From booking until the end of the wedding day itself, the Ventosa team was attentive and communicative to all of our needs and questions. I was planning the wedding from out-of-state with help from local family members, so this good communication was especially appreciated. If you're not sure if they can facilitate something, just ask and they'll do their best to make it happen! The Ventosa team was even able to schedule us with short-notice for a tasting while we were visiting the area 9 months prior to our date. The space itself was beautiful and provided plenty of room for our ~100 guest wedding. Our ceremony was outside under the new pavilion - the view overlooking the vineyard and lake was spectacular. The reception space inside needs little additional decor as it has a lot of beautiful character and details on its own. The patio access with more wonderful views and space to enjoy the fresh air was another huge bonus for us. The food was delicious and got many compliments. Overall, our experience at Ventosa was wonderful and I would highly recommend them for any couples seeking a Finger Lakes wedding.

RJ, Deb and their team went above and beyond to make sure the wedding reception was perfect and that it flowed seamlessly!! They were always available and very responsive to every question and idea we had during the whole planning process. It was a perfect day in every way. The venue is beautiful, the views are spectacular! The food and service were both outstanding! We are still receiving compliments from our guests! We highly recommend the Ventosa!! We would give a 6 star review if it was possible!

We got married at Ventosa in July and the whole team worked so hard to ensure everything went flawlessly, and everyone had a great time! We chose Ventosa for the lovely Tuscan atmosphere and the the breathtaking views and we were blown away by the delicious food and the incredible service! We loved their wood fired pizza and we asked if it could be a passed appetizer (it's not normally on the wedding menu) and they happily obliged! It was difficult to narrow down our menu when we were doing our tasting because everything was so good (and we got to take so much with us)! They also recently built a lovely pavilion so if your wedding day is as rainy as ours they've got you covered. RJ, Phyllis, and the whole team were so accommodating from start to finish - they helped with set up, made sure things were running smoothly, and jumped in whenever a need arose! we cannot recommend Ventosa enough!

If I could give Ventosa vineyard and it's ENTIRE staff a10 star rating I would. Their customer service, flexibility, professional yet personal care was top knotch! They tested our daughter's wedding day as if it was their own. They truly care about making the day special. We will continue to enjoy their cafe, wines, and any future events. Thank you Ventosa!!

We had our wedding at Ventosa in July and had a truly amazing and unbelievable experience! We chose Ventosa early in our planning process for the great wine and stunning lake view and every aspect completely exceeded expectations. RJ and Deb were easy to communicate with throughout the process and very accommodating for any of our needs. They answered all of our questions expertly and truly made the planning process much less overwhelming. One of the hardest parts was our food tasting, because everything was so delicious, and all of the food came out amazing on our wedding day as well. They also did a great job working with our vendors, particularly our florist, in helping to make sure everything got set up and looked amazing. We also wanted a sunset picture with the tree and lake backdrop and Deb helped us make that happen by getting us a golf cart to go from the dining room to the photo spot and back as quickly as possible. We are so happy we chose Ventosa as our venue, and can't wait to go back as a married couple!

I would give 10 stars if I could! If you are looking for a venue in the NY Finger Lakes region, Ventosa Vineyards is the place. They are so professional, organized and communicative that they made planning so much easier. I had no concerns about our venue space or the food as they are a well-oiled machine. The reception area with the connected balcony is beautiful, our guests thought dinner was delicious, and the wood pavilion kept us cool on a beautiful, yet very hot, summer day for our ceremony. There is also an air conditioned decorated room in the ceremony space that saved the day while I waited to walk down the aisle. Kelcie and Deb, the venue coordinators, were so helpful in planning and on the day as well as RJ, the general manager, who facilitated so much as well. He graciously allowed us to mail live plant decor direct from an etsy seller to the venue, and had it put in the venue's cooler before I arrived to decorate. They take pride in making the process and wedding day as you envision it, and it felt more like we were celebrating with them versus working with them. I couldn't recommend them more.

We can’t say enough positive things about Ventosa. They are such a high quality venue for such reasonable prices. The staff is incredible, the views are breathtaking, and the food is delicious. The vibe of their ballroom inside is so warm and the space fit our family very well (you could have as little as 80 people and as much as a few hundred and still be comfortable in that room). The terrace is so nice for people wanting to enjoy a nice evening or take a break from dancing. The dance floor is huge, which was perfect for our family! RJ and Kelcie were both so professional, attentive, and easy to contact throughout the whole wedding process, especially throughout postponing for two years. During the actual ceremony and reception, every worker we interacted with was so nice and on top of everything. They basically thought of everything before we even had to ask. They are flexible budget wise and they helped us put together and set up all of our decorations the day of (and helped us to store things until we could pick them up the morning after). They can also basically accommodate almost any request and would offer suggestions, recommendations, etc. when we asked for help. We would recommend Ventosa to anyone getting married.

We are so glad we chose Ventosa as our wedding venue! From our first meeting with R.J., we knew we were in good hands. It was so easy to coordinate with both R.J and Kelcie leading up to our wedding day. And, an extra special shout-out for all of Kelcie's day-of help keeping everyone on schedule and providing golf cart rides to our guests (a highlight for the little ones)! Kelcie made everything a breeze; she had everything covered! We also absolutely loved the setting- the outdoor ceremony space overlooking the oak tree and the covered terrace showing off sunset views of the vineyards and lake. We've gotten so many compliments from our guests about Ventosa, from the hospitable staff to the beautiful scenery and the amazing food.

We looked at 5 other wineries before choosing Ventosa's, we loved the beautiful reception area and the outdoor ceremony location that is only vineyards in front of the lake. We were blown away by our experience the day of our wedding, the staff and coordinators really are what make this place so great! We spoke with RJ throughout most of the planning process but met Kelcie the day of our rehearsal dinner, she went above and beyond to make sure we had the best day. There were many other staff member who helped bring us drinks and check on us to ask what we needed throughout the night. The food we had at our reception was also excellent! We also found that the reception area was much more well kept than other venues we looked at and the overall price point was better. I would definitely recommend this to other couples looking for a beautiful wedding location with excellent coordinators/staff.

Ventosa Vineyards was absolutely amazing for our wedding! We knew it was our venue as soon as we walked in while touring venues in the area, Ventosa has a wow factor from it’s great Tuscan style venue to the beautiful grounds. RJ made planning our wedding from out of town as easy as possible and was always available to answer questions no matter how small. Our tasting was wonderfully guided by RJ and the Chef, everything was delicious! On the day of, Kelcie and RJ were absolute life-savers with setting up all of our decor, coordinating with our vendors and just making sure everything moved smoothly throughout the night. Any little issues were quickly resolved like the owner of Ventosa running out to buy more bourbon when our guests drank it all. Absolutely wonderful service, a beautiful venue, amazing food with huge portions, and a great staff that helps out with everything!

Living out of town and planning a wedding in the throes of pandemic shutdowns, we chose Ventosa as our ceremony and reception venue sight unseen; this turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. RJ did a great job adapting to virtual wedding planning, as he outlined all of our options and Ventosa procedures over the phone, even giving us a FaceTime tour of the banquet hall. I think what really made our decision so easy, besides their great reviews, was the beautiful outdoor ceremony space looking over the vineyard and lake, and the banquet hall that required very little additional decorating to be wedding-ready. For the year and a half approaching the wedding, RJ was always available to answer questions and make changes. A few months before the wedding, we were in town and visited Ventosa to do some food tasting. It was at this point we knew that the food was going to be an absolute hit. We went with the poached salmon, NY strip steak, and chicken bianco - all of which we highly recommend. We also met the chef that day, who assured us that he's able to easily accommodate for just about any dietary restriction you can think of. Fast forward to the big weekend, and we didn't have to lift a finger. We did our rehearsal the afternoon before the wedding, which is when we met Kathy, the ceremony coordinator. She walked us through all of our options and made sure everything was figured out so there were no questions left unanswered come the next day. We even had a questionable weather forecast, something Kathy was keeping her eye on should we need to make any last minute changes. The day of the wedding was absolutely perfect. When we showed up for first look, Kathy greeted us, ushered us to where we needed to be, and left us to our photographers. When parents showed up, she was there with a golf cart to get them where they needed to be. After pictures were done, we had a little downtime before the ceremony, and Kathy ensured that we were comfortable, hydrated, and hidden from some early-arriving guests! The clouds cleared up, the sun came out, and the ceremony went as beautifully as it was planned. During the reception, the Ventosa staff somehow found a way to work diligently while also barely being noticed. The bartenders worked fast, the wait-staff worked efficiently, and everyone did it with a smile on their face. As we anticipated, we still have guests telling us to this day that Ventosa served the best food they've ever had at a wedding. When the night came to an end, the staff worked quickly to get cleaned up, even though we never felt pressured to get out the door. The next day we stopped to pick up some decorations and leftover cake, which was handled with great care. Ventosa provided us and countless guests with a night we will never forget - something I can't thank Ventosa, RJ, Kathy, the Chef, and the rest of the staff enough for. We will always stop buy for a glass of wine and some lunch whenever we're in the area. Some tips for people considering Ventosa for their wedding: -Sneak away from your reception and see if the staff will let you and your photographer down in the wine cellar for some fantastic photos. -If you want to offer a steak, give the NY Strip some serious consideration before blindly going with the filet. The strip is to die for. -Try to get some sunset photos in the vineyard and by the lake -If you're getting married in the FLX, do it at Ventosa.

I cannot recommend Ventosa enough! First the views are absolutely stunning. Both the outdoor ceremony space and reception area have breathtaking views of the vineyards and Seneca lake. Second R.J. Was amazing to work with! He made every step of the wedding planning process easy, even during COVID- with multiple date changes. Everything on the day of ran smoothly and all we had to worry about was showing up and enjoying the best day! The food was also delicious. We still have guests raving about the pork belly!

I can’t say enough about ventosa and Rj and his team. Through all of covid and the regulations we were unsure of how everything was going to be. It was perfect! They did an amazing job and made us feel so special. Beautiful venue. Professional service. Food was amazing. I want to go back and do it all again. I love it there and am so happy we picked ventosa!!

Ventosa was the perfect place to have a wedding! RJ was an excellent coordinator who helped us through all the details! He made our wedding so much easier to plan, we don't know what we would have done without him. The food was excellent, the venue is absolutely beautiful, and all staff was so well organized. I couldn't have asked for a better ceremony and reception venue for our special day!

Ventosa Vineyards was the very first venue my new husband and I looked at...we knew instantly we were going to get married here. You couldn't beat the views or the professionalism of the staff. We mainly talked/coordinated with RJ via email. He was very quick to respond to our questions and concerns. When I told RJ we wanted to plan a star wars themed wedding he basically gave me permission to let my imagination run...and run it did. RJ was extremely helpful from start to finish and made sure my husband and I along with our party were well taken care of. Though I coordinated mainly with RJ, the staff at ventosa also deserve special recognition. Never have I ever been to a place where staff went above and beyond. Phyllis was especially wonderful. She swapped out entrees for a couple that received the wrong dish (entirely the brides fault not ventosa) she also saw me talking rather animatedly to some of my friends and she could tell in was upset about something, I told her what was going on with a transportation service we had booked that didn't show and she went ahead and called them on my behalf. She informed me she just wanted to make sure I was happy and having the perfect day. I couldn't repay her for everything shes done she was fabulous. Our day of coordinator, Chris [sorry if I got that wrong) was also wonderful she ensured we got where we needed to go as well as made sure we were all lined up in the order we needed to be. In addition to their service their food was also top notch. Our guests are still raving about it! I cant say enough about this beautiful place and their staff. My husband and I will be sure to come up to enjoy it every now and then.

Ventosa Vineyards truly was the most beautiful venue to get married at. RJ and his team were amazing and went above and beyond to make sure our vision came to light and that we were not stressed in any way. The sunset pictures we took were breathtaking and the grounds were absolutely gorgeous. Everything from the reception venue to the food and service everything was perfect.

I cannot even begin to express how amazing Ventosa Vineyards is for your wedding. If you are thinking about having a wedding on a vineyard, you MUST go with Ventosa. Everything about it, the venue itself, the grounds, the food, the drinks, the staff and especially RJ are out of this world amazing. RJ is one of the best. He answered every single question I had, even when I was just being a nervous bride, he never made like I was asking too many questions. He has everything so well organized that you never feel nervous about what's going to happen. RJ made my now husband and me so amazingly comfortable during the entire process and always made sure we knew our options. When there was a slight chance we wouldn't be able to have the ceremony outside, RJ was upfront with us, but still made sure we would do everything possible to have it outside. Luckily for us the weather turned in our favor, and it was all stunning! The event staff were extremely attentive and made sure the guests were having a great time. Phyllis went above and beyond making sure we were eating, drinking, and having a great time. I have ZERO complaints. I strongly, STRONGLY, recommend anyone having their wedding at Ventosa. We can't wait to go back and celebrate our 1 year anniversary there! Thank you SO much RJ & Staff!!!! I am the happiest bride in the world.

We had our wedding at Ventosa this September and it was absolutely wonderful! From Day 1 of planning, RJ was always there for us to answer questions and he made things happen. Our wedding day was perfect because Ventosa has a staff that works hard and strives for perfection. Our guests continue to tell us how great the food was, including the grandparents saying how the Prime Rib was the best they have ever had. Our guests also thoroughly enjoyed the Stuffed Haddock and Eggplant Parmesan, as the compliments are still coming in. We've had many guests tell us that our wedding is the best they have ever been to, and we believe that Ventosa is one of the main reasons for this, as they are such a great venue to work with!!!

We had our June 2016 wedding at Ventosa and it was amazing! The managers (RJ and Aileen) and staff are incredibly helpful. They're extremely responsive and professional. The venue itself is spectacular. You can't beat Ventosa's view of Seneca Lake for the ceremony and reception. The food and wine are also delicious. We received compliments from our guests on both. Your in great hands if you select Ventosa for your wedding.

I can’t even begin to describe how wonderful it was to work with the staff at Ventosa Vineyards for our wedding. The moment we walked in, we knew it was where we would get married. The venue speaks for itself; it has an absolutely beautiful banquet room, but the views and vineyard are what really sold us. R.J. and Aileen were beyond amazing from the day we walked in to tour the venue, to the day of the wedding. They are very responsive to emails, and made the entire planning process very easy. They fulfilled every wish we had, and our day could not have gone more perfectly. They are very organized, and took care of making sure the day went smoothly. The entire Ventosa staff was attentive to our guests and to us. The food is absolutely delicious, and we love their wines. We got compliments from so many guests, saying it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding. You will not be disappointed with Ventosa Vineyards. We plan to go back routinely to visit!

I simply cannot say enough good things about Ventosa. RJ and Mike were so easy to work with and always got back to me in a short period of time. The actual reception went off without a hitch. The whole staff was constantly checking with my husband and I to make sure everything was going as planned and to keep us on schedule. The food was DELICIOUS!!!! I heard such great comments from my guests about everything. Not the forget, the gorgeous setting! I would highly recommend them!

RJ at Ventosa Vineyards is very easy to work with. His staff the day of the wedding were very helpful! They made our day wonderful! RJ goes out of his way to make it amazing! I highly recommend Ventosa Vineyards to anyone looking for a large room with an ourdoor back patio overlooking the vineyards and the lake. With a very large covered front porch as well! Plenty of space for all of our guests to move around. We have 220 people at our wedding and there was a ton of space. The food was out of this world! All our guests said the food was fantastic. Completely worth every penny.

Ventosa Vineyards is the perfect place for a vineyard inspired wedding! Our guests raved about the veranda and the beautiful scenery. The vineyard gave us full access to the entire area and our guests delighted in strolling through the vines in addition to dancing the night away on the large dance floor. The food is out of this world and the chef works with you to construct the perfect meal. Service is friendly and accommodating, as they want to make sure you have the perfect day!

After visiting several venues in the fingerlakes area, we decided that Ventosa was the perfect place for us and we definitely made the right decision! RJ was very helpful throughout the entire planning process - always answering any questions and providing new ideas. Ventosa handled all of the day of details and they did a wonderful job doing so and in return everything ran smoothly. Our reception immediately followed our ceremony and my husband and I were out in the vineyard taking pictures during this time so a waiter brought out a tray of appetizers to us so that we didn't miss out - I thought that was very thoughtful! The food was great and all of our guests seemed to enjoy it. I am on a gluten free diet due to a health condition and they were very accommodating with our food choices. The chef even came out and talked to us about each of the dishes and what we liked during our tasting. We wanted to serve our dinner family style and Ventosa was more than willing to work with us on that and it turned out great! Another great feature that Ventosa has to offer is their view. The view over the vineyard and lake is breathtaking! My parents surprised us with fireworks at the reception and they were absolutely perfect over the lake. We would recommend Ventosa hands down to anyone looking for a wedding venue. :-)

Everyone was amazing!! They were so helpful with everything leading up to the wedding and were absolutely fantastic on the day of the wedding. I have nothing bad to say about them!

My husband and I had our Wedding reception in the GORGEOUS Ventosa Vineyard banquet room. We could not have imagined a better suited venue to celebrate our Special Day! Beauty emanates from EVERY aspect of this establishment; from the sunset, lake-side view to the detail murals all throughout the building. The food, service AND wine are also out of this world! I highly recommend their Italian Wedding soup. Booking with Ventosa will NOT leave you disappointed. RJ (the general manager) treats each of his clients like royalty - he was absolutely wonderful. Five stars for sure!

My husband and I had our ceremony and reception at Ventosa. Throughout the whole process, the staff were very professional and accommodating. The food was very fresh, made in-house by their chef, and was very good. The atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. And who can beat the view from the terrace, over-looking the vineyard and Seneca Lake. We were extremely happy having our wedding at Ventosa.

We absolutely loved having our wedding reception at this winery! The food was very good (although it was different from our tasting, the guests didnt know the difference!). Everything was set up perfectly! My only complaint is that food service took a long time (we had 3 courses), and that there wasnt really anyone checking in with us to see if we needed anything. Our waitress was very nice, but there were no managers/bridal attendant tending to us. Luckily there were no issues, but it just seemed odd that our coordinator was no where to be found the entire night or even to see us off when we left! Overall we had a great night though and Ventosa was very accomodating!

What a fantastic experiance my husband and I had at Ventosa. RJ and his staff were AMAZING!! Everything went just as planned! The staff were friendly, proffesional, and just a delight! The staff was fantastic the food was amazing the location was perfect the view/ambiance etc. was breathtaking and I would not have chosen another place to get married.
