d. The upscale , rustic barn venue is filled with stunning views of the sun filled fields to the picturesque grounds encompassing the location. The lovely outdoor patio adjacent to the barn & dining tent is an added bonus; complete with plenty of seating for guests to mingle as well as 2 fire pits. There are stunning locations to hold your ceremony outside or if you prefer, a lovely indoor location as well. We also loved the recently added Groom’s suite, complete with pool table & plenty of space for the groomsman to hang out. We met the owner, Chris on numerous occasions. She was so welcoming and eager to answer any and all questions, keeping us informed about exciting new additions and updates. Her staff is AMAZING!! I can’t say enough about Kristen & Hannah. Their experience and expertise was so appreciated and made the planning process effortless! Having both an onsite wedding coordinator; as well as florist/stylist was such an added bonus. My daughter’s theme was Simple Elegance and everything from the stunning white roses ( which my guests still talk about) , to the romantic candles and twinkling lights from the chandeliers created a stunning backdrop to a perfect day. Every added touch and detail was so well thought out and intentional. The on-site DJ (Gary) was wonderful! He had our guests up and dancing all night! He was so professional and accommodating. Gary worked well collaborating with the fabulous Sax player ( Damen “Damentional” Tolbert) my daughter and her husband hired. Damen is extremely talented and it was such a fun addition. Everyone loved!! The passed appetizers as well as the meal from My Chef Catering were absolutely delicious! Our bartenders were so friendly, professional and most importantly FAST! Our guests never had to wait for a drink and were always greeted with a smile. The beautiful bar is huge, which was a plus! I have to mention the late night pizza! It was definitely the highlight of the evening. Many of our guests our still raving about it. THANK YOU to everyone @ Venue 5126 who helped give our daughter the wedding of her dreams!.

Every corner of the space feels thoughtful and intentional, from the charming design to the elegant furnishings. We knew right then and there that we wanted to book it! Throughout the planning process, Kristen and Suzanne were beyond helpful—friendly, communicative, and always willing to work with us as we made decisions or navigated changes. Their responsiveness and support made what could have been a stressful time feel easy and exciting. We also opted into the in-house styling and florals, and we’re so glad we did. Hannah was an absolute dream to work with—creative, organized, and incredibly thoughtful. She brought our vision to life in a way that exceeded our expectations. On the day of the wedding, everything ran so smoothly thanks to the staff's attention to detail. They anticipated our needs before we even had to ask and made sure every element of the day unfolded seamlessly. The fact that so many services (design, florals, DJ, etc.) are available in-house made our day feel cohesive and stress-free. We are still over the moon with our decision to have our wedding at Venue 5126. It was perfect. If you’re considering this venue—book it. You absolutely won’t regret it.

Kristen made the planning process smooth and stress free, answering every question and making sure everything was in place on the big day. And the biggest shoutout goes to Hannah! Hannah being an in house florist and stylist made our dream wedding vision come true! , was involved from the day we signed. She was always on top of all communications and made sure we were prepared for our big day. She provided our event timeline and made sure to coordinate with all of our outside vendors for timing (desserts, late night snack, etc.). Hannah, the florist and stylist, was amazing! Her style for our flowers matched our theme perfectly, and we were able to collaborate with how I can add my diy’s into the event. If you are thinking of using an outside florist, do not! Hannah’s florals received so many compliments from guests. My favorite being the floral chandeliers in the barn, my bouquet, and the florals around our neon sign on the greenery wall. We also paid extra for styling which was great since the setup and takedown are taken care of, one less thing I had to worry about, glad they offer this service. This venue has an exclusive caterer, My Chef, which was phenomenal! It was easy to schedule a tasting, and Susan was so sweet and helpful. The food was fresh on the day of our wedding, and Susan even came to make sure everything was perfect for us. The in house dj, Dj Gary, was also amazing! He was so upbeat and all of our guests enjoyed his presence. One of my top requests when picking a venue was to make sure I could bring my dog, Winston, and this venue is dog friendly. If you want your fur babies in attendance, they are awesome with accommodating! Our guests said this was the most gorgeous venue they’ve been to, and they loved that there were multiple places to walk around to. Lastly, I can tell how much every person at Venue 5126 cares to ensure the couple has an amazing day. Literally NOTHING went wrong, which I’m surprised by since people say to prepare for at least a few things to not pan out, but nope! This venue did it all and gave us the perfect wedding. We appreciate all the staff who helped, and are grateful they gave us an amazing experience.

More importantly to us, the staff at Venue 5126 is what sets the apart from other venues we considered. We worked with them for over a year to plan every detail of our wedding, and anyone and everyone on their staff was available night and day to answer all of our questions and ease our worries. The day of, the staff was incredible and made sure all of our needs were taken care of. From their in house florist to DJ, their styling and coordinating staff to the owners themselves, we couldn't imagine having worked with a better team or a more beautiful venue.

The venue itself is stunning, our out of town guests are still talking about how beautiful and lush the grounds were, and even had some guests from California wanting to move to Illinois because of the beauty! Again, the best decision I made when planning our wedding was picking Venue 5126, our day was perfect and I owe it all to them. They are a truly talented and lovely bunch.

Not only were we overwhelmed by the beautiful scenery, but the rustic vibes of the barn and the intimacy of the tent surpassed all expectations we had for what we wanted our wedding celebration to be centered around. The Venue 5126 staff were always available to meet with us throughout the entire planning process and made the experience both seamless and enjoyable. The entire team was able to capture our vision and create an experience on our Wedding Day that was personalized to the smallest detail! We still cannot get over how amazing everything turned out and it is a tribute to the entire Venue 5126 staff. If you are wanting to create the wedding of your dreams, Venue 5126 is the place! We were married on 10/8/23 and our guests are still raving about their experience....many want to renew their vows and choose Venue 5126 to put on the celebration!

The team is amazing, and everyone works so well with each other. Having in-house florist, stylist and day-of coordinator made all the difference. Kristen, Hannah and Annie worked together and made the whole process so easy and stress free. They literally took care of everything and surpassed even our best expectations. Our special day was absolute perfection and we have to thank the Venue 5126 team for that. The catering company they work with was also incredible. We had a lot of guests with different dietary restrictions and Sue at MyChef was so patient and helped us figure what the best option for everyone was. And the food was delicious! We also booked the photo booth and the pizza truck and they were both a success. We had a such great time that at the end of the night we were sad the day was over. Could not recommend Venue 5126 enough!

We also utilized the floral team through Venue 5126 and the recommended DJ which made for a very seamless event, as all the vendors worked together well. Kristen made our entire experience feel stress free as she handles pretty much all the detail planning and coordinating with our vendors leading up to the big day. The billings team was also great with communicating billing deadlines. I also loved that the owners are very hands on and involved in the process and making your day perfect. I cannot recommend this venue and their amazing team enough!

Annie, the stylist, helped make decisions to pull our whole vision together - if we chose table numbers that didn't quite fit the rest of our decor, then she was sure to just double check that's what we wanted, for one example. Kristen kept all nerves at bay and was truly a dream to work with. It was great to know that any help or recommendations needed, we had someone to go to throughout the whole process. inner tent was gorgeous and having the ceremony and reception at the same place was perfect for our wedding. The sunset over the field was beautiful! Our guests loved the remote setting and the barn - we had rain on our wedding day but still plenty of spots to take pictures. The patio was so fun and we had an ice cream truck which was so fun! Overall, we highly recommend Venue 5126 for your wedding day!

Also, I would definitely recommend their styling services because Annie is also THE ABSOLUTE BEST to work with and she made it the most beautiful day ever. Words can't describe how much I loved having my wedding at Venue 5126. Everything was so beautiful and so easy I did not have a single worry or anything to think about on my wedding day. Did I also mention that the venue is gorgeous? Amazing food and catering. So many cool add-ons like late night pizza, smores, etc. And all of the preferred vendors work together like family and know the space inside and out. So in summary, venue5126 is THE ABSOLUTE BEST and they made sure that I had the best day of my life!!!!!!

They added a couple of things to the details I wanted and made sure it will go well together to the theme I wanted to create. I will definitely recommend them. . Until our wedding day, all went smoothly. We were led to believe when we paid an extra $1,000 for air conditioning that it would cover the whole venue, not one portion. We discovered on our 93 degree day that only the banquet tent had air conditioning. The ceremony and dance (2/3 of the night) were in sweltering conditions. The venue did not even turn on the air in the banquet tent until the ceremony began leaving it minimally cool to say the least. Summer brides beware the heat! Many elderly guests had a very difficult time and had to leave early. Emerson needs to air condition the barn as well as their tent. Fans made no difference for the heat. In addition to the lack of air quality, We were also told we would have the extra food, donuts, and desserts boxed for us to take home. None of that was done even though at least 3 dozen donuts were left at 11:00 P.M. and our parents were told they were currently boxing up the food when they requested it. Sadly, Emerson did not even touch base with us in the following days or weeks to see if all went well. It was clear after the final payment was made that they did not care one way or another if our experience was satisfactory. We are, therefore, left to a Google review which I hope everyone considers.

Her coordination leading up to the day was invaluable. The styling team is AMAZING. Emerson has so many beautiful spaces to decorate and has countless rentals to make it beautiful. Jessica, Molly, and Kaitlin truly went above and beyond to help create the vision I wanted for the space. I had a blast at my styling meeting with Jessica and Kaitlin. I will always remember how supportive and calming Molly was  right before my first look with my husband-she helped make the moment natural and special!!  We had a donut wall and ordered a 3 tier cake for our desserts through the Emerson bakery-all delicious!! Emerson uses My Chef for catering. Sue is the sweetest woman and helped guide us towards an incredible dinner. The food is so good!!! Our guests could not stop raving about how much they loved our venue and nor could we. Emerson Creek will always have a special place in our hearts, and we cannot wait to come in for lunch and visit!! Thank you everyone for making our special day flawless, beautiful, and so special <3
