We hired Veraci to cater our wedding at WithinSodo, and could not have been happier with the experience. This is coming from a pizza hobbyist/snob, who has his own pizza oven and experiments with all style pizzas. Veraci provided pizza and salad for approximately 140 people (roughly 120 guests and 20 vendors). They were flexible in accommodating all the dietary needs of our vegan/GF guests. The pizza itself was really great, and guests really loved both it and the salads. The pizza also came out better than when we had tasted it at the Ballard location. The pleasant wood-fired smell also helped anchor memories of our wedding. The Veraci staff was incredibly kind and welcoming! As a nice unplanned touch, they put the leftover pizzas into boxes, which we put out for guests at the after-party. Had we known, we would have maybe ordered some extra pizzas to be made for that purpose, and we would have not planned for any additional late-night food, which would have further simplified our catering logistics.

Veraci Pizza catered our ~100 person wedding and they absolutely blew us away! From start to finish, they went above and beyond - not just with the food, which was phenomenal and a huge hit amongst guests - but with their thoughtfulness, professionalism, and genuine care for our big day. They were so conscious and accommodating for our guests' dietary needs. My maid of honor has celiac disease, and we also had guests who were gluten- and dairy-free. They didn't just handle it - they took it seriously, safely, and with compassion. Also a really nice touch, they hand delivered my new husband and me a heart-shaped pizza during the reception. You could tell they really wanted to make the experience special! They were also incredibly helpful throughout the planning process - offering opinions on flow, layout, and beyond just the catering. It was truly an incredible experience all around! If you're considering them for your wedding or any event, do it. Errin and her team knocked it out of the park. SO happy we chose Veraci!!!

The owners, Errin Byrd and Marshall Jett founded this company in 2004. After years of experimenting with gourmet focaccia bread and homemade pizzas, this duo built their own wood-fired clay oven. They took their product to local farmer's markets and began gaining fans for their scrumptious pies. Errin and Marshall soon began providing their services for private events and Veraci Pizza Catering was born. The Veraci is Italian for true, symbolizes the traditional method this team adopts when creating their pizzas. On the day of your wedding, this team arrives at your venue between 2-3 hours before the festivities get started. They will prepare their wood-fire oven and get ready to serve you and your guests with the utmost professionalism. All pizzas are made from scratch and can accommodate strict dietary requirements including gluten, dairy, nut-free, vegetarian, and vegan. ommented on how tasty the food was, and pizza was a huge hit with everyone! It felt like a perfect crowd pleaser, while still being "elevated" enough for a nicer meal. Veraci also did a great job with our guests' food allergy accommodations, including a dairy-free/gluten-free pizza. Finally, the cost was like HALF of what most catering companies are charging (we got 6 types of pizza, 2 types of salad, and appetizers). We had plenty of yummy food, and the buffet service ran smoothly. We would recommend Veraci to anyone looking for quality & affordable event catering!

Veraci pizza is soooo yummy! They catered my wedding and it was a hit. The pizza was hot and fresh and they laid out a nice buffet spread of the different types of pizza and salads...

. I was able to customize the type of pizzas and toppings when I ordered them. I had one vegan pizza available and I received many thanks from my lactose intolerant guests.

ding. Errin was so easy to work with to get everything in place, and was happy to make accommodations for our guests that had specific dietary needs. The crew she sent also worked so hard on the day off, getting set up and prepped ahead of time to ensure the appetizers, salads and pizzas were all ready to go at the right times. We were so happy with Veraci and would definitely recommend them!

t. A couple of things that were a little rocky for us: 1. Communication to set up the process could have been better. The contact for catering events is only available to speak on the phone during traditional business hours which, if you can get up during the work day and take personal calls, might not be an issue. For me, it was problematic. 2. Amount of pizza day-of: Our contact told us that the estimate should be 2-3 pieces of pizza per person (but they bring enough ingredients to make 5 extra pizzas day-of). That sounded about right until I saw the size of the pieces at our reception- they were SUPER small! Our wedding had about 10-15 people less than expected and we still flew through all of the pizzas PLUS all of the 5 extras very very quickly. I'd highly recommend purchasing more than the suggested amount. And if you get a bit too much, who doesn't love leftovers? :) All in all, a positive experience.

Veraci was super flexible with us when it came to reception planning, topping choices, and the dietary restrictions of some of our guests. Their wood fired oven is also a real hit to have at the wedding, so many people commented on it and thought it was so cool. All of our friends and family loved the pizza and a year later we still get compliments on it, but I think the best testimonial came from one of my young cousins: whenever anyone asks him what his favorite food is, he tells them “wedding pizza!”

cient, no problems, and had a beautiful layout of food. Everything was incredibly fresh because they did not cook the next pizza until it was necessary to replace one. In addition, there was never a gap in service while keeping the food fresh. I had my gluten free, dairy free, vegans, and vegetarians covered SO EASILY! Everyone had a variety of options. Errin, who manages catering, was very responsive and helpful--knew exactly how much food to provide for the number of people. We only had extra food because my parents insisted as a "just in case" situation, but seriously just trust the Veraci people to do what they do best-- make amazing, fresh pizza, in the correct quantities. We fed ~90 people for under $3000-tax, tip included with leftovers! Want low key BUT ACTUALLY FRESH food? Go with Veraci-- can't rave about them enough!

we have been to it can get uptight and not that many people like salmon, or certain kinds of chicken but everyone loves pizza! Almost all of the food was eaten and people were going back for second or thirds. They were great when I asked for a gluten free pizza for some of my gluten intolerant guests. They worked wonderfully with my difficult venue owner and never once made it seem like they were annoyed or frustrated, they treated it like true professionals. I would hire them again in a heart beat. We love us some Veraci's!
