The Veridian is a ballroom wedding venue in Springfield, Missouri. This unique, historic venue was renovated in 2010, but still maintains its historic architecture and feel. It is minimally decorated to allow you the liberty of creating your own unique vision. With great lighting, large windows, a spacious atrium, a lobby area, and an outdoor patio, this space is a great choice for a variety of events.

vice! There prices were on point for the basic rental and that was the main reason we chose the venue but I was a little disappointed in the add ons such as draping or renting out the dressing rooms. The prices for those were crazy expensive. Also, the dressing rooms were not thought through very well because the guy's and girl's were right next to each other and there were no mirrors and the lighting was not great. We had a hotel to get ready in so that did not affect us. Other than that, the venue was perfect and the staff works with you for whatever you need.
The Veridian is beautiful! Tables, chairs, and linens are available there so you don't have to worry about renting them from another vendor. Courtney was a dream to work with!

ion there be aware that there is a fee to switch the room around. There is an additional fee to use the downstairs bar for cocktail hour. They don't have an in-house caterer so in order to maintain a liquor license they charge a 3% fee on your catering bill. If you host some of the bar tab for your guests you will have to pay tax AND gratuity on it up front. Luckily we had some extra money in savings to accommodate this extras but we only knew about the 3% in the beginning. I would still have my reception here again but ask about all extra costs in the beginning so there are no last minute issues with money.

When my Dad wanted another drink, he asked them to open back up for 30 minutes (for an added 30 min charge of course), they did!
