I got many rave reviews from my guests. I had a SUNRISE wedding on the beach and it was gorgeous. Thank you so much for a great experience!! dn't worry about a thing on my wedding day knowing they were in charge. They did everything possible to accommodate my every whim and make my magical wedding a reality! From the very beginning Marissa and Candace helped me and my guests to book rooms and they made sure my VIP guests were well taken care of. Rachel is an amazing chef and she even created new food for our sunrise wedding that exceeded my expectations. We had a cocktail party the night before the wedding and the appetizers were terrific. The guests all commented on the food and level of service from all of the staff. (Thanks Kit for taking such good care of us!) I can't say enough amazing things about the hotel or the staff. All of the guests who stayed at the hotel commented it was the nicest hotel they ever stayed in. Thank you everyone for such an amazing wedding weekend!

rk with budget. They have certified wedding planners to help with coordinating plans and they are there the day of the wedding. They helped keep us calm and the party running smooth! You can't beat the view and the food was very good! This really is a venue to go see. We live in Miami, but took the trip to get married in that cute little beach town. It really was better than I could have ever imagined, thanks to the Vero Beach Hotel & Spa.

overlooking the ocean was the ideal spot for our beach themed wedding. As for the service, Nikki, the onsite planner was fabulous to work with during the planning process and stayed throughout the wedding to minimize hiccups. She even improvised when the florist didn't bring my aisle decorations. That being said, I was forced to cut a star due to the fact that the hotel gave all my paid-for birds-of-paradise to a crazed bride from 15 hours before that neglected to remove her ferns from the large planters. Our florist, rightfully assuming that the ferns were there to stay, stuck my "birds" in them. The crazy girl shouted down to the hotel staff from her balcony which was apparently overlooking my soon to be nuptial site telling them we'd better not use those plants unless we paid her $60 each. Really? 15 hours later? The hotel rushing to satisfy her, gave her my flowers. By the time I realized they were missing, everyone was seated and I was walking down the aisle. Also, after cutting the cake, they took it to the back where they privately cut the rest for guests. I never saw the cake again, I would have liked for my guests to have been able to take leftovers, which I am certain there was since I bought twice as much cake as I needed and my knife and server have gone missing. When I when to recover them from the hotel, they tried to give me someone's cheap plastic handled set. They are still at large to date. All in all though, the hotel was gorgeous, the food amazing, and Nikki was quick on her toes. I am the only one who noticed the hiccups.

The view from the restaurant/reception area is already gorgeous and all my guests thought the wedding was stunning. The only downfall is they have enough room for 140 people, but the table setup ends up a little awkward. I still loved everything about the venue for my wedding even with the odd seating arrangements. I would highly recommend. The only negative I had was I wanted to use the spa for hair and makeup and they booked to an outside wedding which was really frustrating and I had to go elsewhere, but overall I had a great experience.

f the cost but the venue was so beautiful and had so many aspects that were important to us. 1. Food: The food at VBHS is outstanding but you don't get to do the tasting until after you've signed the contract. If you've never eaten there, go to Cobalt (the restaurant in VBHS) for lunch or dinner and you'll be pleased with the unique food choices - everything is very fresh tasting and not heavy at all. We wondered if it would still be as good when mass-produced for the crowd and it was - every person raved about how good the food was. Every app was delicious, the entree was great and the sides were great too. 2. Bar: The bar is a little offset from the main reception area but not too far away to keep the crowds off the dance floor. The staff was very friendly and everyone got whatever they wanted (we did the open bar, don't think they even do a cash bar). 3. Ceremony: You have a couple of different options for the ceremony. You can have it right on the beach if that's what you dreamed of or they have a lovely pergola like structure on the back patio. We wanted a beach view but were concerned about our elderly guests and small children (and girls in heels) being able to walk through the sand so the patio was perfect for us. It's not a huge space but we fit 115 people on the patio and everyone could still see and we could still see everyone. 4. Reception: Depending on the size of your party, you can either book just one room or you can reserve the entire restaurant. We booked all of cobalt since we had too many people for the one room. They layout is a bit unconventional with tables in a few nooks and crannies. It worked out pretty well but a few people had a hard time hearing - so take the floor plan with you to meet with your DJ and make sure they put speakers in any area where there are tables. We opted for the sweetheart table and it was a great choice. We got a little time to ourselves and the staff did a great time making sure we got drinks, time to eat, etc. We did not have any special lighting for either our cake or grooms cake and they were both displayed prominently yet out of the way. The presents were in a secure location but where everyone could still see where to put them (and out of the way of any passersby). The guest book could have been in a little better place - some people didn't see it. So ask to have a separate spot or bring a pedestal or small stand for your guest book (we did a thumbprint tree). 5. Coordinators: We worked with both Lorna and Nikki and they were both fantastic. They answered all my questions and eased any concerns before the wedding. On the day of the wedding they had everything under control - the whole day was so stress free and wonderful, I couldn't have done it without them! 6. Rooms: I know the rooms are pricey but you will get an excellent room block rate - almost all our guests ended up staying at VBHS and we maxed out our room block and added more. Be sure to book a 2 bdrm suite for the bridesmaids the night before and bride/groom for night after (expensive but worth it). The bridesmaids got to get ready all day listening to the waves. Best wedding venue ever! Thanks to VBHS for making our wedding even more than we ever dreamed of!

eatedly that Vero Beach Hotel was one of the most beautiful places they have ever been to. This place is off the beaten path, but truly is a diamond in the rough. If I could marry my husband all over again I would still chose the Vero Beach Hotel. I looked at venues in Palm Beach, Boca, Ft. Lauderdale, and Miami, and this place is such a steal compared to the value you get.

It was just done and taken care of. She relieved so much stress with her staff working behind the scenes. The day of I was able to just relax and enjoy it all. They thought of everything. It was the most beautiful and perfect day! Thanks to their hard work and caring attitudes!
