Viceroy Snowmass

A wedding reception needs to be special and memorable. The Viceroy and Katie’s team deliver on these needs and exceeds. We chose the Viceroy and the on-property Toro restaurant for our wedding reception dinner and a place for an evening celebration with our family and friends following our wedding ceremony at Maroon Bells. The Toro restaurant as a venue was superb and well laid out to accommodate our reception party in a private dining room with an adjoining outdoor terrace. The staff was warm, welcoming, and an absolute joy to talk and interact with through the evening. The starters and main courses were all bursting with flavor and simply delicious. We had guests go as far as to say the dinner served at Toro was the best dinner they had ever had at a wedding. We also stayed at the Viceroy before and after the reception dinner, and the hotel room was clean and set up with all the right amenities. The Viceroy delivered a special and memorable experience for our wedding reception and celebration. We highly recommend the Viceroy.

I cannot even begin to tell you how great working with this venue was. Katie, Elizabeth and all of the staff were incredible! Every detail was thought of and executed perfectly. We had several unique requests which they accommodated without even blinking an eye. The effort they put into making our big day special was unparalleled. The venues are spectacular and food was the best wedding food anyone had ever had! Book here!

Katie and the staff are amazing! We had the best time and the food is amazing! I can’t say enough about how they helped us have the most amazing day! Our bartender Dillon and all the staff I can’t remember their names were great!

We got married at Viceroy Snowmass in August 2020 and had such an amazing wedding! Viceroy is such a beautiful venue. Katie and her staff are absolutely wonderful and such a pleasure to work with. We were so happy we chose Viceroy to host our reception! Our guests raved about the delicious food, especially our wedding cake - which was above and beyond our expectations! We also received so many compliments on the accommodating and attentive staff, and the beautiful facility! We were able to do our cake cutting on the terrace, which was such a lovely addition. Katie was incredibly helpful and responsive with all of the (many) questions I had and has this genuine, detailed oriented personality! She is the best! Viceroy handled our entire reception without any issues. We highly recommend Viceroy Snowmass!!!!

Wow wow wow! When my husband and I got engaged, I knew I wanted to get married on the side of a mountain. Well, this venue checked that box with changing aspens as a backdrop and views down the Aspen valley. Getting married during the pandemic was quite the rollercoaster, but Katie de Besche and her team provided creative ideas to make a wedding as normal as it could be. All staff at the Viceroy were very hospitable and made sure that our guests and we had the best time possible. I would 100% recommend this venue and the staff included to any couple looking for that mountain wedding.

Viceroy Snowmass was AMAZING while planning this wedding! With Covid-19 there were many hurdles to get over and they helped us change all our plans with grace. They are friendly and easy to work with. HIGHLY recommend.

Getting married in the middle of a world wide pandemic is never easy, however, Viceroy and Katie DeBesche made it seem like a breeze. She was incredibly organized and accommodating and I can’t thank her enough for making our wedding incredible. The location of the Viceroy is absolutely stunning and speaks for itself. The food was unbelievable and the drinks were flowing. I will always recommend people to have their wedding or events at the Viceroy as it was so dreamy!

We got married at the Viceroy in Feb 2020 and couldn't have asked for a better wedding! Katie and her team went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly and that each detail was considered. I didn't have a wedding planner so did most of the planning myself, and Katie was so helpful in answering all my questions and coordinating with vendors. Our guests couldn't stop talking about the delicious food and the lovely reception. If you're looking for a beautiful mountain venue, it doesn't get better than the Viceroy!

Our daughter was married on September 21, 2019 at the Viceroy in Snowmass Village Colorado. They did an absolutely amazing job for the event. We had 158 people attend the wedding and everyone was raving about the food for the sit down dinner. Katie who was our contact person at the Viceroy did an excellent job making sure that every detail was taken care of. The facility is beautiful and everyone loved the rooms. The staff was so helpful and went out of their way to help our guests. I cannot say enough about what a great job they did! I would highly recommend them.

My wife and I originally met at a wedding at the Viceroy so there was absolutely no better choice then to have our own wedding there! We loved this venue then and we love it even more now! We had our wedding in September and the day was perfect. Ceremony was on the lawn vista and our reception was in Toro restaurant - both awesome settings. The hotel staff was super accommodating to us and all of our guests, many of which stay several nights. Katie, the event coordinator was amazing - extremely attentive and detail oriented. Would highly recommend the Viceroy!!!!

I cannot sing high enough praises for the excellent communication, detailed execution, and friendliness of everyone at Viceroy Snowmass, and I can't wait to work at this beautiful and elegant venue again!

I loved Viceroy Snowmass as a whole, especially if you are looking to have your dogs with you. The venue is beautiful and they are very attentive. I have 4.5 stars because I’m not sure if we were suppose to do all the setting up( florist said she’s always said the tables and linen were set up before you decorate) and I never did a diagram closer to wedding with how the tables would be done- thankfully we set up the tables so it was done how I wanted. The staff are very friendly and accommodating!

I had the pleasure to work with Katie and her team for a client's Fall '19 wedding and they made my EASY! As a "Day of Wedding " Planner we do start at least 6 months out in planning and working with our vendors, Katie was always very responsive which is always appreciated The weekend of the wedding was seamless ... venue looked great, we communicated the whole time as there are multiple sites around the beautiful Viceroy and my team can't wait to go back!!!

Viceroy in Snowmass is the most beautiful venue you can book! I loved that everything was available in house and we did not have to search for different vendors. Katie was very helpful with planning questions and day of coordination to make sure everything ran smoothly. We could not have imagined a more perfect place to get married and cannot wait to visit again.

I had my wedding at the Viceroy Snowmass 2 weeks ago and it was amazing!!! All the guests were amazed by the beautiful views and the ballroom, the service was exceptional so as the food, and our planner Meghan is the best she takes care of every single detail so the celebration goes smooth and perfect!!! And after that our honeyroom was the perfect touch to finish our night! My now husband and I really recommend it for any occasion, you won't regret it.

Our wedding at Viceroy Snowmass could not have been more perfect. The event space is more beautiful in person than the photos. We had a destination wedding here last weekend and I couldn’t have been more pleased with our choice. We had a buffet and the food was amazing, it is definitely not your average banquet hall meal. I heard multiple compliments throughout the night about the food and beautiful venue. Meghan, the event coordinator helped with all our questions, meal planning, room blocks. She was so helpful and quick to respond. She was on top of everything. Meghan and her team set up the banquet room and helped take it down after the event. The entire Viceroy staff were so friendly to deal with. They really went above and beyond throughout our stay. They were extra accommodating to our guests and made everyone’s stay enjoyable. Viceroy was the most beautiful place to have our wedding and it makes me so happy our guests are still talking about it!

Our daughters wedding was at the Viceroy/Snowmass, this past July, and we cannot say enough good things. We had a last minute ( 2 hour) change of ceremony and Meghan Cole , literally saved the day! It was perfect, and ended up better than planned! The food was amazing, the table settings, everything that a mother worries and frets about was taken care of with ease by the hotel. Thanks so much VICEROY, you made this day a huge success! Ps. Did I mention, this was a destination wedding, as we live in Missouri ! If I could give the Viceroy and Meghan 100 stars I would!

I had my wedding at viceroy snowmass this August and it was amazing! The scenery and the hotel were beautiful, along with the the kindness and friendliness of every staff member we came across throughout the weekend! Truly the best hospitality experience I’ve ever had!

The Viceroy Snowmass exceeded our expectations from our entire hotel stay to the phenomenal reception!! Katie is the event planner and she was wonderful to work with! Me being an artsy-person, I wanted to decorate and plan as much as I could for the wedding including all of the flowers. They were accommodating to our needs, and truly made our wedding day special. The food was exquisite, and I think the steak was the best I've ever had (which is hard to compete with several chefs in our family). The cake was excellent and beautiful, exactly as I had pictured. We're over the moon with our wedding experience at the Viceroy! Thank you!!

We had a room block and a Welcome Party at The Viceroy and we are so glad we did! Meghan was a pleasure to work with and was so great helping us figure out the menu for the party. The staff at The Viceroy were amazing - from The Toro restaurant and bar, the front desk, bellhops, valet... I could go on! They are all wonderful!

We absolutely loved having our wedding reception at the Viceroy! We rented out the vista rooms in the Toro restaurant and it was perfect for our small wedding. From start to finish Viceroy was exceptional. Katie de Besche was always so helpful and quick to answers questions. Meghan helped us with all our menu choices and was a joy to work with. She made sure everything on the day-of went perfect. And it was all more than we could have imagined. The food was delicious. All of our guests told us multiple times how good it was. The Vicreoy also went out of their way to make our honeymoon suite super special with rose petals, champagne, and chocolate covered strawberries! The sweetest surprise. From the valet guys to the bartenders, everyone we interacted with at the Viceroy was so kind and made us feel right at home. We are super excited to come back and visit for our anniversary. If you are thinking twice about booking Viceroy, do not hesitate, you won't be disappointed! They go above and beyond! The only slight disappointment was the wedding cake. At the tasting it was the most delicious lemon cake I've ever had, but the day of version, while absolutely beautiful, didn't taste like much. The icing was lacking any kind of flavor. So you may want think of using an outside pastry chef.

We had our wedding reception at the Viceroy and it was fantastic. Katie was great to work with and was always available (before and the day of the event). It turned out better than I could have imagined. The food was great and accommodated a gluten free allergy with no problem. Katie and her staff made our entire stay so wonderful I cannot wait to go back next summer for our anniversary.

We had a lot of options to chose from in our beautiful valley. The one on one attention we received from Meghan Cole was everything we could of asked for on our big day. She was involved and anticipated any detail where there could of been an issue and handled everything beautifully. We had forgotten to get our favors and as I asked her she had already had them brought down from our penthouse suite and taken care of it. The entire team at the Viceroy offered our guests and us the five star experience we wanted on our big day. We stayed in the penthouse for 5 days, from Brian in valet the entire front desk team and culinary team we had a week long event full of a lifetime of memories. Our food was incredible and guests are still speaking of it a month later. Our spa experience was wonderful and customized to each one of my guests preferences, one of the best massages I’ve received! Exactly what a bride needs before her big day. Meghan, Katie and the entire team made our wedding week an unforgettable experience!

I had my wedding dinner at the Viceroy/Toro Kitchen last week. Everything exceeded my expectations. Katie, the events manager, was amazing from beginning to end. The servers at Toro worked so hard and thought of everything, so my guests and I were able to relax and enjoy the evening. The food at Toro Kitchen was absolutely delicious. The Viceroy accommodations are incredibly nice, and of course the setting in Snowmass Village is breathtakingly gorgeous. I am so, so happy that I got to have my special event here, and would highly recommend it to anyone.

I am a local Aspen wedding photographer, and each and every time my brides tell me that they have chosen the Viceroy as their venue, I sigh in relief. The Viceroy, Snowmass has the most friendly and dedicated staff. Their event planners are highly professional and will bend over backwards to make any bride's vision come true. Not only is the ceremony site breathtaking and beautiful, but the private reception room is intimate, yet feels modern and roomy for any wedding size. The Viceroy will work with any bride's budget and make all of your special day's needs come true.

Our wedding day was a dream come true at the Viceroy. Everything was absolutely superb from the staff that checked us in on our first arrival, to all the wedding day preparations, to the actual execution. We could not have been more thrilled with how everything turned out. Everyone truly went above and beyond and exceeded our expectations. We planned everything from out of state and they were patient with us both in the planning process and with minor changes once we saw the property in person a few days before the wedding. I am so incredibly glad that we chose to have our wedding at the Viceroy. The venue was perfect, the wedding food was incredible (and hot unlike some catering services) the service was impeccable. It rained during our ceremony and they had both the indoor and outdoor set up ready to go in the event that the rain cleared, but everything went flawlessly even with the rain. Our day was pure perfection. For any bride considering using this venue, I would HIGHLY recommend them based on the quality, value, and customer service. We could not have been happier!

Our September wedding at the Viceroy was absolutely amazing- I could not have asked for a better wedding day! Food and service were top notch, even the cake was out of this world (and I don't really like cake). Fall in Snowmass is stunning, which is why we picked the Viceroy and it could not have gone any better!

The outdoor setting for our ceremony is what sold us when we were originally looking for a place to get married and in the end we could not be happier! I worked with the Viceroy for my client's wedding in October. Haley and the entire Viceroy team were extremely helpful, accommodating, professional and pleasant. Gorgeous views! My husband and I held our wedding at the Viceroy Snowmass last summer and it was absolutely amazing! We had our ceremony on their lawn that's right next to the ski hill with a gorgeous backdrop of the mountains behind. We held our reception here as well, in their ballroom, that has even more gorgeous views of the mountain. The event staff was so accommodating with us, from helping us set up, to bringing in the decorations, and even providing us with champagne and chocolate strawberries in our honeymoon suite! Our guests stayed at the Viceroy as well which was so convenient to return to our rooms after a long night of dancing. Thanks again Viceroy, for making my wedding unforgettable :)

My husband and I, as well as the majority of our family, are from St. Louis. We hosted our destination wedding ceremony and reception at the Viceroy Snowmass this past August (2016). The accommodations were top of the line; our guests couldn't stop raving about the views, service, and rooms. The terrace, in which we hosted the ceremony on, was the perfect size for our smaller wedding and offered a backdrop that can not be found anywhere else. Additionally, the reception went off without any issues (held in Salon 1). Our site coordinator, Katie, as well as the staff at the hotel, were absolutely amazing and detailed in the prep work for our event. Guests loved the food! This is one resort that my husband and I can't wait to visit again!

We could not have been happier with our choice to not only stay at the Vicerory for our destination wedding but also to host our cocktail hour and reception in the Eight K restaurant. Everything was managed so well and we could not have had been treated any better from the hotel staff from the minute we arrived. We felt like ROYALTY while staying at the The Viceroy and could not have been happier. Our rooms were perfect for getting ready in for the day of the wedding and turned out amazing in all of our pictures. Having access to the entire Eight K restaurant for our destination wedding allowed us to really have an intimate and beautiful reception with great views of the mountains and AMAZING food! Not to mention they made us a beautiful and delicious wedding cake and it was one less vendor for our destination wedding. All of our guests loved the space and had nothing but great things to say about the Viceroy. If we could do it all over again we would choose the Viceroy over and over! My husband and I had our same-sex marriage at the Viceroy. We've stayed at the hotel a few times and knew the kind of quality experience we had received. The Viceroy did an EXCELLENT job of helping plan and execute a phenomenal wedding and reception! The staff was always friendly and helpful. The Viceroy setting was perfect...our guests LOVED it! We did side trips to the Gondola at AJAX and Maroon Bells, which were great additions to a fun and enjoyable weekend. I would give the Viceroy 10 stars if I could, BRAVO! for helping make our special day even more special! Thank you!

We had our cocktail hour and dinner inside of Eight K restaurant at the Viceroy and it was perfection! The ambiance of the restaurant created a beautiful and intimate setting which is exactly what we wanted. The food was fantastic - all of our guests raved about! The staff was so attentive and took such great care of us. The entire evening was wonderful from start to finish. Thank you Viceroy!

We had our wedding at the Viceroy this summer (June 11, 2016) and it was absolutely flawless in every way. From the moment we arrived to the Viceroy property, we were treated like royalty. My guests raved about the rooms, the pool, and the amenities. We did our ceremony at the Smuggler Mine and then came back to the Eight K (Viceroy's Restaurant) for the reception. It was absolutely flawless in every way, and I wouldnt have changed one minute. The food was over the top- unreal. The service was impeccable, and the execution of every detail was perfect. Also, all weddings are expensive, but I didnt feel like there were unexpected fees or bills at the end with the Viceroy. We hired a DJ (DJ Naka G) and danced all night and loved it. Some hotels seem like they are trying to limit how much fun guests have at weddings, the Viceroy was encouraging it at every turn. It was the perfect mix of elegance, charm, fun, unique and memorable. I would do it over in a heartbeat. Haley Bannon and Ashley Lynch made our day absolutely perfect.

I had my wedding at Viceroy this past summer and it was amazing! From the mountains in the background of our ceremony to the delicious food at our reception (that our guests are still talking about!), our day was exactly as we imagined. I got ready at the spa (hair/makeup) and it was, dare I say, a relaxing experience! Beautiful place if you are looking for a mountain wedding.

The room for our dinner was perfectly intimate and comfortable. The food was great. Service in the hotel in general is not as personal as others and there were some minor lapses but overall a good experience.

We could not be happier that we stayed in Snowmass for our wedding. The Viceroy was beautiful and very accommodating. Everyone there was so nice and helpful. They made the weekend so wonderful.
