Vicky Gilson Photography

Vicky was an excellent photographer! She was prompt to return my phone calls/texts/emails. She made me feel at ease about the picture process. She was very quick to snap really cool shots and made me feel heard on what pictures I wanted! She gave me sneak peaks one day after the wedding! :) I can't wait too see the rest of what she has!

Vicky has been absolutely amazing to work with! She had us laughing and flexible during our wedding day. She really 'gets' it! She has a great eye! Love how bright and colorful the photos turned out! The turn-around time was about 8 weeks, and for getting married in the middle of "wedding season" that's pretty good! I have absolutely no complaints! The photos turned out beautiful!!!! I would always use Vicky Gilson for my future photography needs!

Vicky was amazing to work with from the beginning to end! She is very responsive and even helped be a coordinator for the day of wedding! Her personality is fun and keeps everyone in line so we were able to capture all our moments. She got my pictures done in 3 weeks too! I would HIGHLY recommend her!!

I'd give this 10 stars. but sadly i can only give 5. she is awesome and personable. We just had our wedding done and it was fantastic couldn't ask for a better photographer. She kept our big bridal party organized and photographed perfectly in record time! She came prepared with bug spray for us because of the bad mosquito problem as well! We couldn't have asked for a better photographer and will continue to use Vicky for all of our future photos! THANK YOU AGAIN!

*Edited I was asked to write a review before we received any of our pictures back, big mistake. So now the transaction is completed, I feel the need to write about our true experience. At first our only complaint about Vicky was that she’s a little inattentive. She would say she would call us at a certain time and we wouldn’t hear from her so we would have to call her. She always seemed unprepared or she was busy doing something else, even though they were scheduled times. We waited over the time period she gave us (engagement photos and wedding) and when we emailed her questioning when they’d be done she was always a bit rude and snippy, mind you at this time she was paid in full. When we were told our pictures were done, we had to make arrangements to pick them up from her house which is a 35 minute drive for us, no big deal, but her availability was limited and she would not work with our schedules. We felt like a burden to her rather than clients and her social life was more important. She finally had to mail our USB to us because we could not coordinate a time/day that worked with her schedule. When we finally were able to see our pictures we were very pleased at the ones she took, however there were a few important pictures that weren’t taken like a picture with my husband, myself and our kids, when asked why this picture was missed her response was “Your daughter wasn’t having any part of photos.” Which certainly wasn’t true. Vicky spent too much time taking pictures of just me and my bridal party and didn’t spent much time taking important family pictures. Lastly, we received a free canvas print with the package we bought and the picture I choose, I choose specifically because it showed off my bouquet, but was cut out of the frame.
