Kylie was our Vida Events coordinator for our March 2025 wedding and we can not recommend her and her team enough! The minute she stepped in, she took all of the stress off of our shoulders and took over all of the communications with our other vendors. Not only was she amazing at what she does, but she was so nice and easy to work with. She made sure our vision was executed perfectly and she went above and beyond for us on our wedding day to make sure we had the best time. Highly recommend!!
Arika and Megan were so great to work with while planning our wedding! We always felt ahead of schedule and everything went seamlessly on the day. Arika was great when it came to communicating to all of our vendors and making sure everyone went home with the correct items so that nothing was lost! Highly recommend using Vida Events for your big day!

If you’re looking for someone who is calm under pressure, incredibly talented, and deeply committed to making your special day perfect, I can’t recommend Megan enough. She exceeded our expectations in every way and made our wedding an unforgettable experience! My biggest regret is not hiring Megan to plan my entire wedding. If you have the means to do so, I would highly recommend getting her involved from the beginning of the experience. The first thing you need to do after getting engaged is hiring a wedding planner, full stop. Before you choose venues or other vendors. This is speaking from personal experience as a SUPER Type A Bride, your wedding planner can make or break this experience. Your wedding budget should include your wedding planner more so than anything else if you want a truly seamless wedding planning experience.
Working with Vida Events was the best decision we could have ever made! We were lucky enough to have Kylie as our planner and she was truly a blessing. Kylie is organized, creative, gifted, and so much more. She made the whole wedding planning process a breeze and insanely fun! Working with Kylie truly felt like working with a close friend, which made wedding planning even more enjoyable. My husband and I constantly talk about how we could have never planned a wedding without her. She went above and beyond with every single aspect of planning. Kylie knows all things there are to know about weddings, there was no situation she could not handle. She truly knew our vision better than we did, and brought it to life with ease.
Her consistent communication and beautifully unique ideas made the wedding planning process an absolute breeze. The most important thing to us was being stress-free on our wedding day, and Kylie made that effortless. My husband and I truly had zero worries throughout the whole process, especially on the day of. Having a planner as detailed and skilled as Kylie allowed us to truly enjoy our day. She made our wedding day beyond special. She ensured we built in time on the day of for just my husband and I to soak everything in and truly put us first throughout everything.
Being stress free on your wedding day is one thing, but being stress free throughout the whole wedding planning process is another thing. The only reason we were both is because of Kylie. We could not thank her enough for everything she did for us!
We had the pleasure of hiring Vida Events (specifically Risse) to coordinate the day of our wedding. The lead up and execution of our wedding couldn't have been more flawless and relaxing. Where to begin! From the first conversations with Megan, we knew she/Vida Events was the best wedding planner choice we could make. As a chronic “planner” with little knowledge on where to start when it comes to wedding planning (a scary combination for me!) it was important that our planner be organized, knowledgeable, and willing to field my many questions to help us make our vision come to life. Megan did just that, and made the process FUN amidst all the to-do’s. She helped us navigate the many vendor selections/contracts/planning convos, absolutely rocked the event design, and took so much stress off us and our families— all with a patience, honesty, and professionalism I can’t highlight enough.
I strongly recommend Vida Events to all couples planning their wedding — not only for the tactical planning piece, but the emotional support and encouragement as well.
My husband and I had a fantastic experience working with Megan at Vida Events! Megan is incredibly kind and always makes you feel like her top priority. Cydney, Megan, Kylie and Risse are the real MVPs. Finding the right planning team for your big day can be overwhelming and we’re so glad that we found them. Supportive, flexible, patient and full of energy- they truly know how to make magic happen. They did a great job of making us feel seen, respected and heard as we planned for our big day. We ended up using their month-of package which was perfect for us. Having worked with them, I’d also 100% trust working with them for a full planning package as well.

Thank you for planning one of the most important and special days of our lives. The wedding day was beautiful and it was SO FUN. Nic & I were lucky to have a planner who only said YES and always had a smile on her face. Her approach was like a loving older sister who wanted the best for you and did everything she could to set you up for success. She is warm, diligent, and wildly professional. She made me feel like I was the only bride she was planning a wedding for. Also, I am a type A, has to be done my way, kind of person and having her to put my trust in was incredible. Everything was just as planned and she was ALWAYS two steps ahead of me when I would start to begin my double check to do list haha. We loved being able to celebrate our day with our favorite people because we never had to think of logistics. Choosing Vida was the best decision and I would choose them again, and again.

Megan and Vida Events were fantastic. I highly recommend! While I’m very organized and detail oriented, the days leading up to the wedding and day of coordination would have gone completely sideways without Megan. First off, I would have made the worst timeline and wouldn’t have known how early I needed to start without Megan. She knew exactly how long everything would take. I also woke up in the middle of the night before the wedding freaked out about whether I should allow phones at the ceremony. Megan strongly suggested not to and sent examples of what could happen in the photos (phones in the air). Im so glad I took her advice. She absolutely saved my pictures!! Another great example of Megan’s excellence was when the flower vendor brought the wrong candles for the ceremony (we couldn’t have a real flame). Megan had her game face on and sent the vendor right back (across town through the canals of Venice Italy mind you!) to pick up the correct candles! They made it back in time for the ceremony. Lastly, Megan has a great eye. I would ask her for design suggestions along the way and didn’t have a shred of worry when she was helping the vendors set up. I knew she had it. I can’t sing her praises enough.
My husband and I had our wedding at the Willard InterContinental in Washington DC on September 3rd, 2023, and it was everything we hoped for! When we initially spoke to Meghan, we had tons of questions and Meghan was so pleasant and was more than willing to answer any questions we had. After interviewing a few vendors, we decided to go with VIDA! Risse was our lead planner, and it was SO great working with her. We were nervous since we had such a large headcount of about 300 people, but she ensured us that her team could handle it. She gave us tips and tricks leading up to the wedding and jumped on weekly calls to make sure the planning process was going smoothly. Risse was so kind, and you can tell she really loves what she does! Her positivity and calm nature made the entire process seamless. The day of the wedding could not have been more perfect. Risse created a very detailed timeline, and everything went according to plan. When we got back to our hotel suite that evening (or morning haha!) we found our guest book, card box etc. all packed by Risse and her team. After the wedding, we had family calling to tell us it was such a beautiful wedding and they were so shocked at how organized everything was, especially with a wedding of our size! The only complaint was that the wedding day went by too fast! Thank you to Risse and VIDA for making our day so magical! Make sure to book them for your big day!!!
Megan is absolutely amazing and we were so lucky to work with her on our wedding reception/anniversary celebration! I started planning with a somewhat vague vision (jewel tones and fall-inspired), and Megan helped us create a celebration more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. Every vendor she recommended was exceptional. Knowing my husband and I adopted our pets and we passionately support rescue organizations, she suggested a seating/escort wall featuring adoptable dogs and cats! It represented us perfectly, and most importantly, supported the rescue organization we worked with to adopt our dog, Koda. Megan was truly wonderful to work with throughout the entire planning process and the day of our celebration was flawless and stress-free. Thank you, Megan and Vida Events!
I cannot thank Megan enough for helping to design and execute my daughter’s vision for her wedding day. Through many trials and tribulations, out of our and her control, Megan never wavered and confidently assured me everything would be ok. And boy was she right! All I had to do on the day of the wedding was show up and be BLOWN AWAY. She coordinated with our amazing vendors to create the most stunning space. It was PERFECT. Thank you Megan! We worked with Maria and Nancy for our March 2023 wedding, and I could not recommend them enough! Both were extremely responsive to my questions during the planning process and Nancy was amazing on the day of the wedding. Where do I begin?! Words can hardly express how incredible our experience working with Kylie with Vida Events was! Planning a wedding for 250 people at a private estate is not for the faint of heart but thank goodness we had Kylie. She helped us strategize each step of the process while listening to all of our needs and wants. She understood our vision to a tee and made it become reality in a way that was far better than we ever could have imagined. She helped us with scheme and source every single detail, down to elements we never knew would have thought about but now looking back, absolutely needed. She is great navigating vendors, families and guests, ensuring everyones voices are heard but the vision of the event remains true.
The whole planning was a breeze - I was never once was stressed because I knew we were in such good hands. Trusting someone to execute such an important day takes a lot of blind faith and if I could work with Kylie again, I would do it 10x over. We used Megan with Vida Events to plan our wedding this past June and she did such an INCREDIBLE job. We could not have done it without her! We booked Megan for partial planning for our wedding on 6/24/23. She made the whole process leading up to the wedding so stress-free for us! On the day of the wedding, I did not have to worry about a single thing, Megan and her team were so professional and I cannot recommend them enough!
Megan is absolutely AMAZING!! We hired her in April of 2022 and our wedding was set for June 2023 so we had plenty of time to plan. We live in San Diego and were planning our wedding in my hometown in Virginia, so we felt like a full service wedding planner was the way to go. Megan did all the leg work in finding vendors, meeting them at the venue for walk throughs and making sure everything was taken care of since I wasn’t able to be there. She was so responsive throughout the year when I would randomly send her ideas or questions. Somehow, she kept everything so organized and made sure we were on track. She listened to me and really took the time to understand what I was envisioning while offering ideas that made it even better than I could have imagined!
In March of 2023, my mother-in-law was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. We immediately decided to move the wedding to San Diego so that she could be there while going through chemo. I called Megan with the news and she didn’t even hesitate. She went into full gear with cancelling all of our Virginia vendors and started planning our new San Diego wedding with just two months to go. I still don’t know how we did it but I know that it wouldn’t have been possible without Megan!
My mother-in-law passed away in early April and I wasn’t able to assist Megan much in the way of wedding planning for that month. But she kept the ball rolling and kept me updated on everything.
Megan flew out to San Diego for our big day and ensured that the wedding was completely stress free for us. I truly didn’t have to lift a finger! She hadn’t even seen the property in real life (we rented an Airbnb and did a backyard wedding) but was able to make it absolutely perfect.
I can honestly say that out of everything we paid for to make our day perfect, hiring Megan was worth it more than anything else.

WOW! Where do I start? The moment I met Megan I knew she was the person that I had to have for my wedding. To know her is to love her! Megan is a professional who has years of wedding experience. She kept me organized and had great ideas throughout the whole wedding process. Anything I needed she was there to help!
My husband and I got married at The Breakers hotel in West Palm Beach. She traveled there and was such a key component to our wedding day. Both our families credit her for how relaxed the day was. Megan was there to hold my dress, tie my bouquet, coordinate the car. Before I could think of things she had already covered it.

My wife and I had a perfect, beautiful destination wedding thanks to our wedding planner, Megan, and her team at Vida Events. No detail was left behind thanks to the tireless work Megan was able to put in. My wife and I were left in awe during our Sangeet and Wedding day.
Our wedding was a multi-day Indian event being held at Atlantis, Bahamas. We hired Megan about 8 months before our wedding date after my wife discovered the Vida Events page on Instagram. From day one of planning, Megan took full responsibility of dealing with all our vendors (food, design/flowers, make up, mehndi, DJ, officiant, photographer, etc.). Megan was very accommodating in scheduling video calls with us to discuss our budget and exactly how we wanted the wedding to be designed. Dealing with vendors, especially during a destination wedding in a foreign country, can be difficult to say the least. Megan was our trustworthy and experienced planner who helped navigate us through all of that and ultimately delivered the most beautiful wedding my wife and I could have dreamed of. Hiring Megan took away 90% of the stress in dealing with our wedding and I am already recommending her to all our friends and family. Nancy is an amazing wedding coordinator. Throughout the entire process, Nancy was professional, flexible, and organized. She ensured the details came together beautifully on our wedding day. Vida events is absolutely amazing! I had my initial phone call with Megan & immediately had positive vibes. My husband & I were blessed to be working with Cydney. My wedding planner, Cydney, was an amazing planner! My contract started one month before my wedding, and she gave me a lot of advice so I did my wedding so much better than I thought and expected.
On the day of the wedding, you really don't have any time to think about the timeline. However, Cydney was perfect at controlling everything, so I was really comfortable and I was focused on other things.
I was really worried about my wedding day, however it will be amazing and smooth if you have her!!

Truth be told, I have long admired Megan + Vida Events. Having Maria to coordinate our two day wedding was one of the best decisions we could’ve made! Even though this was Maria’s first Ismaili Muslim wedding to coordinate, she and her team were great! It’s not uncommon for large Muslim weddings to run behind schedule, but Maria and her team made sure that not only were we on time, we were almost always running 10-15 minutes ahead of schedule! Maria was always available for us, regardless of whatever she had going on! She would respond to texts promptly and communicate with vendors on our behalf. I truly believe that without Maria and her team, our wedding would not have gone as smoothly as it did. She is wonderful, kind, patient, and was so delightful to work with!
Incredibly happy with the decision to work with Cydney of Vida events for our April 2022 wedding. She listened to our ideas and was patient and supportive while we asked questions and was able to make our vision come to life. She was very responsive, very clear, and communicative. We felt lighter and supported after every planning meeting. When one vendor miscommunicated their needs, Cydney was able to collaborate and work together with everyone to rectify the situation. Maria assumed all vendor communication and logistics ~8 weeks from our big day. However, with booking and initial payment, we immediately began using a website called Aisleplanner that definitely helped to keep us on track throughout planning as far as a year out. Aisleplanner also allowed Maria to periodically check in on us to ensure nothing fell through the cracks. She reviewed and was familiar with all of vendor contracts, which is extremely necessary in making sure your day of timeline is perfect.
I’m a pretty organized person/bride, but Maria and her resources really helped us tighten things up and crossing the finish line. She is extremely professional, yet personable and I would recommend her and the Vida team to any bride I know. I’ve spoken to other brides who invested in a full wedding planner who were not even half as organized/structured as Vida with our day of coordination! I never felt as though we got “less than” service for day of coordinating. Maria gives her all to each and every client, despite your planning package!
The day of, I was not made aware of one single issue. Maria and her team were on it and made sure everything was taken care of so my husband and I could completely enjoy the day. I am so happy that I chose Megan with Vida Events for my wedding in September 2022 at the Inn at Little Washington. Originally, I planned on doing everything myself because I had a venue coordinator and just didn't think I needed help --- fast forward a few months and we decided to move across the country and start new jobs just weeks before our planned wedding date! WOW, PANDAMONIUM! I realized I needed help with design and day of coordination. I interviewed various planners (not because i'm particularly picky, but more because so many people were booked for my date)-- BUT I just didn't connect with anyone else I interviewed. One person I nearly hired would take days to respond to my e-mails and she just didn't seem excited about my ideas. I was so happy Megan reached out to schedule a time to talk. After my first phone visit with her I immediately felt at ease. Working with Megan was like working with your sister or best friend--- she's so great! She's so fun, funny, calm, and encouraging, yet professional. She helped me realize and execute my vision, and I just couldn't believe how gorgeous everything turned out! It was so much more beautiful than I imagined! On the day of our wedding everything ran so smoothly! I felt calm knowing that I had someone on my team to turn to with any question or concern. When starting the wedding planning process, I like a lot of brides, thought I could do it myself…when I realized I needed assistance, Megan with Vida Events couldn't have been the more perfect choice. Megan started assisting our wedding 8 weeks out and took all of the stress away. She took time to understand my vision, was detailed oriented, managed vendors, answered every phone call/email, and most importantly, ensured our day ran as smoothly as humanly possible. When our photographer called the day before our wedding with COVID, Megan found us a new photographer within 2-3 hours and kept all nerves and stress at bay allowing myself, husband, and our families to enjoy the rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks. Jordyn at Vida Events was wonderful to work with! She worked great with all our vendors. She was very responsive and easy to reach when we had questions or needed advice. She was on top of everything the evening of our rehearsal and wedding day. We were so thankful for all her help and we couldn’t imagine our wedding day without Jordyn. My (now) husband and I used Vida Events for our day of coordination and the day could not have gone smoother. In fact, we were AHEAD of schedule. We met with Cydney and some of our vendors about a month before the wedding day to start discussing the timeline and accompanying details. We booked Vida Events for day-of coordination since they were one of the preferred vendors by our venue. I sort of wished that I had just booked for partial or even full wedding planning, cause I sure didn’t know what I was getting into! Cydney Washington reached out to us about 2 months out from the wedding to learn about us and make sure we were on the right track to have everything together in time. She was so sweet and really great to work with! I appreciated her responsiveness in answering our questions and organizational skills to make sure she knew who was bringing what and when, where everything needed to go, and making sure everything got back to the right people at the end of the night. She also helped with ironing out the timeline with all the vendors, which I was just kind of winging based on the general timeline the venue had. Cydney really helped make sure all the loose ends were tied off and in place before the day of, and then made sure the whole day ran smoothly. We ended up being either on time or even running a few minutes early the whole day, which I was not expecting based on how complicated weddings are and all the people running around. I didn’t even feel rushed or stressed the whole day. We kind of just showed up and Cydney made sure we were where we needed to be throughout the day. Cydney was everything I was hoping for in a day-of coordinator!
Megan is absolutely fantastic to work with. If you are looking to hire a planner who truly cares about you and your happiness on your wedding day, it’s her. Given the pandemic and the entire world rescheduling weddings in 2020/2021 my husband and I had to move our wedding date a whole 13 months out, which was … well let’s say a bit stressful. With Megan’s help we were able to address this quickly and push our timeline out with little complications. Once we got closer to our 11.12.21 date Megan stepped in to help out in areas we didn’t even hire her for! I mean, come on when does that actually happen? Looking back, I wish we had hired full wedding planning services from Vida Events in the very beginning. You live and you learn!

Our wedding took place in a little village in Germany (where we come from and live). Megan understood the cultural differences and helped us set up the perfect romantic village wedding. We FaceTimed several times before the wedding took place. The online wedding planner, which I worked on with Megan, helped me a lot. Megan was always on time and whenever I had a problem or question I knew I could get a hold of her and she would take care of it in the most perfect way.
Megan is so easy to work with. She listens to you and keeps in mind what you want. She makes sure that the venue looks the way you want it to and that your day goes as smooth as possible! Megan knew exactly how to calm me down when I got super nervous, she was super friendly to all the guests and extremely helpful. Megan helped us out with a cake emergency and decorated our cake with gold flakes and flowers, her assistant Jordyn helped us with last minute table numbers (since I didn’t like the ones I got), they set up the candy bar, I could go on and on…..

If you are getting married, Maria should be your first vendor to hire! We don’t think that words enough can describe how wonderful Maria and her team are, with them on our side, we knew we had absolutely nothing to worry about on our wedding day. She is responsive, attentive, professional and, most of all, kind.
We hired Maria as our second wedding planner when our first wedding planner became unavailable for our date. We were so anxious about finding a new wedding planner that would be able to step into the middle of our wedding planning seamlessly 6-months prior to our wedding date.
After our initial call with Maria, we knew we could stop searching for a new wedding coordinator because she was the entire package. She was friendly, welcoming, organized and most importantly, calm!
Shortly after we hired her, Maria gave us a checklist of tasks and the timeline on which we should complete them. Her website makes it seamless to keep track of all of the details for the wedding and she was consistent about making sure all the details were done. We received many compliments on the wedding timeline she provided us, our wedding party, and the vendors because it was so detailed and organized. Some of our vendors even highlighted that she had been such a pleasure to work with.
Each meeting with Maria was like catching up with an old friend. She paid close attention to what we told her, and she advocated for us when we were working with other vendors. We always felt that she had our best interests in mind and felt that this wedding was as important to her as it was to us.
For example, when we had a family tragedy happen in the middle of hiring a sought-after vendor, we asked Maria to take over the communications with the vendor without giving her much context. Maria immediately stepped in and was able to secure that vendor until we were mentally available to talk about wedding details again. She never dropped the ball on anything for our wedding and this is just one of many examples.
On wedding day, my dad lost his bowtie and suspenders and only mentioned it 1.5 hours prior to the ceremony…Maria and her team were on it! I don’t know when, but suddenly my dad had both ready to go that matched his tux perfectly. This is why it’s necessary to hire such a dependable wedding coordinator!!
We also hired Maria to plan / coordinate our rehearsal dinner. We got endless compliments about how well planned everything was and how she and the entire Vida Events team were always smiling and ready to help throughout the weekend. By the end of the weekend, everyone knew Maria as the happy woman walking around making sure everything was perfect! We’re already thinking of other events we can hire her for because we loved working with her so much.
As two brides, we were conscious of hiring LGBT-friendly vendors and we can vouch that the Vida Events was just that! We were always treated with kindness and excitement about our upcoming wedding.

Hiring Maria was one of the first things I did for my wedding; having seen her work at our wedding venue, I knew I had to have her! She helped us navigate and finalize catering, floor plans, timelines, and decor, which relieved a lot of stress. We had difficulty finding catering, and her recommendation was hands down the person we needed on our vendor team. Maria's communication was always on point, and other vendors raved about her to me, so we knew we made the right choice. She handled everything with such ease on our wedding day, even when curveballs came with timing. WOW! WOW! WOW! My wedding was better than I dreamed, literally. Vida Events exceeded all our expectations! Leading up to the wedding date, we had to postpone a few times due to Covid. During the process we interviewed a few planners to hopefully make things easier throughout the process. Although all were great individuals, no one was as down to earth as Maria. Maria is thorough, positive, and she understood what I envisioned immediately.
Regarding my vision, one of the things that I was incredibly nervous about was my budget, but she prevailed with what we had to work with. If I wanted a specific kind of lighting for the reception that was not in my budget, she helped me reflect and decide on what I “Wanted” and what I “Needed”. Her relationship with our vendors saved us so much time, money, and stress. For example, we signed the contract for the DJ, who was providing our lights, but I could not afford the additional lights that I really wanted. When we decided last minute to go with a band, understandably, we still had to fulfill our contract and pay the company providing the lights and DJ. Since the additional lights I wanted were not in our budget, Maria's connection with the vendor helped us to work out a deal and I got the additional lighting that I really wanted!
As far as transparency and communication goes, there were some random times throughout the day that I would have a panic attack (happened often), but I could count on her to be super responsive and comforting. As the wedding date approached closer and closer, we hit a financial wall and I thought I was going to cut out a large chunk of the budget. She was very reassuring, and her positive attitude and excitement was infectious and kept me from being overwhelmed.
One of my biggest fears was the comfort of our elderly guests. We know our family has high expectations, so it was amazing to hear that she made sure all of our elderly was comfortable and warm during the transition from the chilly outside cocktail hour.
My favorite note: It rained on our wedding day; Maria assured me repeatedly that everything was going to be okay. With the great work of her assistance and the vendors she brought on board, her plan B would have easily been my plan A, had I known how perfect this would be. Vida events stayed until the very end, till every piece of decor was loaded in the car and every guest had an Uber home!
I would like to emphasize that I wanted an intimate, beautiful, simple (but not too simple), elegant wedding and got all that and more. I could look back proudly and regret nothing because our wedding was so perfect. I will dream of this day forever. Thank you for making this possible Vida Events!

Megan is LOVELY as a human, and she also does her job exceptionally well. I was not looking forward to wedding planning! While I tend to be forgetful and generally unorganized in most aspects of my life, Megan kept me on track and saved all the important contracts, lists, etc. so that I could focus on the more enjoyable parts of putting together our weekend.
