As a bride, I have anxiety and executive-functioning challenges, which made starting and managing a large project like a wedding overwhelming. I knew I needed a wedding planner, but after an unsuccessful experience with a different planner, I was feeling discouraged. However, after our first meeting with Julie, we knew she was a game-changer.
Within weeks of signing on, Julie had us moving forward quickly and confidently—scheduling a kickoff meeting, assigning tasks with due-dates, and arranging multiple venue tours. She helped us make more progress in a few weeks than we had in months previously. Her communication was clear and consistent, and her planning systems made timelines and next steps easy to understand and manage.
Julie helped us plan a 120-guest wedding in the Baltimore area with an upscale-yet-relaxed feel, including a welcome dinner and farewell brunch in addition to the ceremony and reception. Every event was beautifully executed. On the wedding day itself, everything ran smoothly. It was almost unreal. Julie and her team handled all logistics and vendor coordination, allowing us to fully enjoy the experience without stress. We were able to stay present and focus on celebrating with our guests, knowing everything was taken care of.
Julie’s support went well beyond logistics and creative vision: she was calm, reassuring, and genuinely invested in our experience. She even made sure we were fed and hydrated throughout the wedding day, which made a huge difference.

She helped us tackle the process step-by-step and month-by-month, making sure we stayed on top of tasks and ensuring the day reflected what we wanted/our personal story. option, I really loved the look and style of KVE’s portfolio. I loved Julie from our first meeting, and I thought it was a huge bonus that they did stationary and florals in addition to planning (I figured having less vendors would be easier to deal with and could result in a truly cohesive look if one person was in charge of it all). I am so happy with both the process and finished product! Julie was a great listener and helped to diffuse stressful discussions/decisions. She took time to fully understand our goals and budget and helped me immensely with deciding how to spend money smartly and effectively. She synthesized the (sometimes conflicting) ideas from my fiance and I into the beautiful, minimal, and modern wedding of my dreams. She was a great advocate for us when dealing with a contractual disagreement with our venue and she was a patient listener when I just needed to vent. She knew when to get everyone on a quick call because emails were being misinterpreted and was always confident that things would work out in the end (spoiler alert: they will!). The florals were the star of the show (after my dress and our dog, of course) and I loved knowing I could relax and enjoy myself because everything was under her control.

are still so appreciative of their work. We live in Pittsburgh and our wedding was in Annapolis, MD but Julie was able to schedule phone calls, in person meetings around our travel schedule, and ensured that the distance wasn't going to inhibit our wedding planning. Her organization was very impressive. They were attentive and listened to our ideas, our conversations, and the feelings we wanted from our wedding day. What started as a phone call and brainstorming quickly became idea boards and a visualization of our wedding. Their feedback was always spot on and helped materialize the visions that we had.
We used Kruse and Viera for their floral services as well and they were incredible! The decor was elegant and simple and the floral arrangements fit seamlessly into the whole picture. We had so many guests compliment the flowers throughout the venue for all the reasons that we had hoped for. The day of an outdoor wedding and we had periodic rain showers. What could have been a disaster was managed with grace. They had a plan B ready and when the rain had passed, Julie was ready to set up the outdoor space - and made it look beautiful! Our parents, our guests, and ourselves felt taken care of. I would recommend Kruse and Vieira for so many reasons, but to sum it up to one reason: They show so much care and consideration in the details. They listen and work with you to develop your dream wedding. On the day of the wedding, we were able to step back and appreciate so much because we felt like we had a team of support. I really enjoyed working with Kruse and Vieira and I am so thankful for the wedding day they gave us!
