and John (maitre d) are so accommodating and so amazing they made the whole experience a truly magical one. From the beginning when we booked to the very day of our wedding we were not disappointed. On the day of John made sure my HUSBAND and I were taken care of, he made sure we had a plate of all of the things from cocktail hour and during dinner as well. He made sure our glasses were never empty and set up the entire wedding exactly how we wanted it! Such an amazing experience! Also, my guests are still raving about how great the service and food was!!

I could text any of my questions or concerns and she would respond back in such a timely manner. My husband and I were so impressed with Jen’s professionalism and overall positive attitude. The staff are magical drink fairies but not to worry because they kept the waters coming for me too when I need a break from the booze! I couldn’t find something negative to say about this place even if tried! We are so eternally grateful to the entire staff for making sure our day was nothing short of incredible!

Everything from the cocktail hour, to the main course, to the cake from Rolling Pin Bakery, just unbelievable. We even got to choose Surf & Turf as one of our entrees and it was so delicious! We didn't have a wedding planner, and my wife and I did everything on our own, but with the help of Jimmy & Jen, our day couldn't of went smoother and they took the burden off of us and definitely made the planning as stress-free as possible. They took the time to listen to what we envisioned the day looking like and we were fortunate enough to have the entire restaurant to ourselves since we chose a date in their off season. It was decorated beautifully for the holidays, and they even let us pick and choose which decorations to keep and which we could put away for the day. Their new outdoor space is now covered with heaters and it made for the perfect dance floor/cocktail hour spot and with the lighting and hanging flowers that we added, it was just truly magical. We cannot thank the View and their staff enough for their professionalism and the amazing experience that they were able to give us for our special day. It was worth all the wait after being postponed almost a year and a half due to COVID. So if you are an LI bride looking for a waterfront venue with amazing food & ambiance, the View is the place for you.

View. It rained all day, but Jimmy and Jen were able to set up for our ceremony under the BEAUTIFUL new covered patio. I was so shocked by what they were able to put together for us. They also had heat lamps available on the patio that kept our guests comfortable for the whole day. The food and drinks were excellent! It even looks great in our video footage. Big shout out to Jen (maître d' at View). She was so pleasant to work with and so attentive during the reception.

Our 4 young daughters were a major part of our day and Jen made sure we didn’t have to worry about them! We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day…. I wish we could do it again. hen we first started planning and we fell in love right away, they had everything we wanted and more. We wanted a full cocktail party which they offered and it was done beautifully. Our ceremony was outside right on the water and we couldn’t have had better weather! We also went with all the vendors that they recommend and was not disappointed, everyone was great! Huge shout out to Jennifer the manager ,she was amazing we worked with her pretty much throughout the whole process and she made everything super easy and totally saw my vision and set up all my decorations the way I wanted, even the day of the wedding she treated me and my husband like gold!We had a day time wedding which ended at 5pm and we still got to stay after and hang out with our friends because we were all having such an awesome time and didn’t want to leave! I still get a ton of compliments on our wedding and I’m recommending this place to everyone!

view was beautiful. If you’re looking for a laid back wedding this is your venue. Our guest are still saying it was the best wedding ever! The staff really made our day feel special and treated us like family. We can not recommend them enough!

We heard the food would be good but considering my super judge mental Italian family loved it, then you know it must be! The staff was awesome from the first day we went there. Jimmy the manager accommodated everything we asked for and Jennifer the maid tre de made sure everything was executed with no issues. You get the whole place to yourself as well which was amazing!! If we could do it again we would 1000 times!!

I highly recommend picking View , especially if you want a panoramic vista of the bay. Our guests came from Europe to California and did not expect this experience.

The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous, huge dance floor under the new and beautiful awning, deck furniture outside is beautiful. Inside tables , lots of places to sit. I really can’t say enough good things. We had an Extended Cocktail Reception - the only way to go. The vendors they recommended were also fantastic - photographer, florist and bakery! View has so many delicious options we went with the halibut, steak and scallops for entree and everyone loved their meal. The cocktail hour was amazing. Again the options are so yummy! The cocktails are also great. We definitely recommend this spot to host any kind of event. Another reason we chose this spot was because of the staff Jimmy and Jennifer were AMAZING they catered to our every need every step of the way. They are so sweet and know exactly how to make your party perfect. I can’t wait to have another party there. We honestly would have had our wedding here but we were not ready. We were so sad when it ended it was such a great time. Check it out!

My husband (a professional chef) and I (an experienced and enthusiastic eater) found the execution of every dish to be flawless--not an adjective we use lightly. The scallops were seared to perfection, as was the filet mignon and all of the other delicious foods on the buffet spread. We were also impressed by the artful presentation, and our guests loved the "bonus food" that came as part of our extended cocktail reception, the perfect option to make sure our guests got a taste of every delicious morsel. However, the best part of the day was the incredible staff: from the professional, polished and friendly servers who made sure our guests never lacked for anything, and even decorated and packed up all of our favors so lovingly and carefully for us, to Courtney, who is so incredibly efficient and meticulous and unflappable that we instantly put our trust in her getting every detail right on point, to Jimmy, who made every part of the experience fun and easy--from when we found the venue to when we sat to down write the menu to when he treated us to brunch to next day, to Laurie who went above and beyond in recovering a friend's lost coat and making sure a really nice bottle of scotch we accidentally left behind got returned to us. We could not ask for better service and we are so grateful that every single detail in our special day went off without a hitch.

My husband and I wanted to have a wedding ceremony outdoors on the water, and we knew we found our wedding venue after having dinner at the View and meeting Jim. He was very courteous and helpful, explaining how a ceremony and reception are handled at the View. After meeting Jim, we were introduced to their manager Courtney, who proved to be professional and consistently helpful throughout our planning phase. The day of our wedding my husband and I could not stop smiling! All of the months of planning paid off and not one detail was forgotten by Courtney! The food, bartending staff, and servers were all superb. We were especially grateful for our favorite bartender, Shannon, for making sure our signature cocktails were perfect. Throughout the reception, our guests repeatedly commented on what an incredible time they were having. They were in awe of the beautiful the views and how delicious the food and drinks were. We are so grateful that we chose the View for our special day!

Many have even gone back after for dinner on their own since then. We had a larger wedding (about 275 people), and the staff managed to keep plenty of food out and drinks flowing while logistically keeping the party flowing perfectly. We cannot say enough good things about the VIEW and the entire staff! If you are looking for a gorgeous venue with a flexible but attentive team - I would highly recommend considering the VIEW as your venue.

All staff and vendors are dedicated, respectful, and show passion for their careers in the industry, and made our day beautiful and one of a kind. I have been recommending this venue ever since we booked the wedding 2 years ago. We are so very grateful.

We did the extended cocktail reception - it was a huge hit - guests were able to eat as much as they want and had a great selection to choose from! The variety of food was fun to pick, they offer some more traditional selections but we were able to select a variety for our guests to make it more exciting then the food you may expect at a wedding. We are not fish eaters - the View's wedding menu selection was able to be flexible whether or not you loved fish - which was great and of course delicious! The View was great as we did not want a wedding factory feel, none of our guests had been to a wedding at the View before which made it that much more exciting, it is like a hidden gem. Jimmy and Courtney were amazing to work with from the moment we visited the View. We had never been to the View before our first viewing. The View was the last stop of about 11 wedding sites, it did not compare to any place we visited. Some love the nautical feel, I loved the simple elegant historical timeless feel the View has. We arrived a little early to finish pictures with family and got married on site. There was a super quick turn around time between the ceremony and cocktail hour - it happened so quick I did not even noticed the furniture being reset. The staff were amazing, and always attentive to not only to us but also our guests. My mom still comments about how she got to talk to the chef. The personal feel the View was able to offer did not compare to any other vendor we visited. And knowing we can go back for anniversaries and make the View a part of our future memories means a lot! I would recommend the view 1000% for weddings (and now for dining too!)

the managers, was so helpful with our planning and the details of our special day! Our guests continue to rave about the beautiful location on the water, the food and how much fun the day was! We also had our ceremony at the View, we lucked out with the weather so we were able to get married outside but I was even ok with their plan B to have the ceremony inside as the location inside also had a beautiful water view as the backdrop! We were so happy with our choice to be married at the View and HIGHLY recommend it!

ss stressful. At the time our deal was 100 people minimum for $14,250 (I believe price has gone up to 15k area now). This included vendors, however the vendors don't really provide that much so I did about 6k worth of upcharges between the DJ, florist, and photographer. For example: the DJ didn't include ceremony music, just reception - so I had to pay an extra $500 just to have ceremony music. But even still with 6k upcharges, I only spent about 20k on my wedding total which I personally think is amazing for how fun and beautiful it was. They only offer daytime Saturday weddings, but the daytime didn't bother me one bit. PROS: The venue itself is beautiful, the staff was great. Our wedding day went so smooth, no issues, it was the perfect day. I couldn't hear enough positive comments from my guests about the food - everyone said the food was amazing. The alcoholic drinks were strong -which I was happy about bc I've been to weddings where they water down the cocktails. The Maitre'D Courtney was efficient and helpful, she made sure everything was set up properly and running smooth. My favorite thing that the View did, day of, is that I chose not to do a reveal (first look), and to take my photos during cocktail hour. I felt a bit guilty bc I knew my bridal party/fam would then miss out on the cocktail hour food and drinks. But to my surprise as soon as we began taking our pics, during CH, the staff brought over trays of cocktails and hors d'oeuvres for everyone to snack on. I loved this bc it didn't feel like anyone missed out then on the cocktail hour bc of pics. CONS: I was a bit unhappy with how the vendors didn't include much. As I said above, the fact the DJ didn't include your ceremony music and I had to pay $500 extra just for that, is a bit ridiculous. Also, the photographer only included pics that were unedited/low res with their logo on them. I had to pay about $1,300 extra for high resolution, edited photos without the logo. Kinda bs. Also, as nice as the View manager guy Jimmy is, he wasn't very transparent with some things. He did tell us it was $500 extra to have the ceremony at the View (which is at 11:30am), but he told us multiple times we were able to use the bridal suite in the AM to get ready, and we could show up whatever time we wanted. It wasn't until the final payment, 4 days before the wedding, that they tried to tell us it was $100 an hour for the suite before 10am. The ceremony starts at 11:30am, so who the heck would be ready in an hour and a half? I think that was a bit cheap and bs on their part - we alrdy paid $500 extra for the ceremony, at that point the suite should be included. But they ended up waiving the fee for us anyway luckily. All in all, I really don't have many negatives. Our wedding was so affordable and fun, and the food was so good. The venue is so far from the typical commercial/generic catering hall and I absolutely loved that.

Our guests were so impressed with the quality and amount of food at our Extended Cocktail Reception, they are still talking about it! Another highlight was the bar/drink service! The full service bar is unmatched by a regular wedding hall bar!! Our guests were very happy with all the options!! Especially the Blackberry Mojitos and Rum Punch!!! Delicious!! We love that we will be able to go back to View every year for our anniversary!!!! (And whenever we want some great food and drinks!!)
