We got married in August 2022 and it was the best day. Greta and her team did everything they could to help, every step of the way.
We had our ceremony at the gazebo by the estate, cocktail hour under the pavilion, and our reception in the Rose Ballroom. From the very start Greta was so helpful, very responsive, open to all our ideas. From the week of the wedding through the day itself she and the maitre d's were so attentive. We had absolutely everything we needed and more.
The venue itself was gorgeous, lush, with beautiful lights. Our guests are still raving about the food. We stayed in the estate house and our guests stayed in the venue hotel rooms, and we were all very happy and comfortable.
We are so entirely happy with our experience at Villa Bianca. Our wedding was absolutely everything we wanted, gorgeous, classy, delicious, and fun!
We choose Villa Bianca for our 6/4/22 wedding. Greta was amazing throughout the entire planning process. She was so attentive and quick to respond to any questions that we had. I was a low stress bride because of her.
The grounds of Villa Bianca are absolutely beautiful- perfectly landscaped. Our ceremony was in the garden and our reception in the pavilion. We stayed in the estate house and penthouse the night prior and used them for photos the day of. We can’t wait to get our professional photos back. The pictures that we’ve seen from guests all have beautiful backgrounds.
The food was so good! We served buffet style and our guests keep telling us how delicious everything was- the hors d'oeuvre’s (the crab cakes are to die for), carving station, and buffet- all amazing.
Lastly, our Maitre’D’s (provided by Villa Bianca) Tina and Carla were so professional and fun! The entire day ran smoothly because of them. They were able to round up our rowdy crowd and were so accommodating, always making sure my husband and I had food or a drink in our hand. They set up our reception perfectly (we brought in our own decor) even better than we could have imagined, and then packed everything up for us at the end. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect because of them.
We would 10/10 recommend Villa Bianca as a wedding venue.

Greta and her team were fantastic from start to finish. We had our wedding ceremony and reception all outside at the pavilion area. Our guests were very happy with the location and food. Everything was just so wonderful and everything turned out great!
We had our wedding at Villa Bianca this past Saturday August 14, 2021. We came to Greta in the height of covid after we had to cancel our original wedding plans. Over this past year Greta has been here every step of the way to ensure we had nothing to worry about when it came to wedding planning. Our wedding was more than we could have ever expected, from the grounds, to the food, the staff. Everyone treated us like family. We are still reminiscing as our day was beyond every expectation we could have ever had. Thank you Greta and Team for giving us a beautiful wedding day to remember!
Five stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ! We had our 25th wedding anniversary celebration here on the 23 rd of July 2021. The place and the setting was awesome and with the weather cooperating.. The ceremony on the estate ground made it even better. The food was sumptuous! The service and your staff was great! They were very accommodating and knows what they are doing. All my guest was amazed.. and some where surprised when they saw the eatate ground. We had a blast! Thank you again! ❤️
We didn't realize it when we booked the venue, but Villa Bianca exceeded all of our expectations!! The halls, grounds, and estate house caught our attention from the moment we stepped onto the premises and we knew that this is the reception venue that my husband and I wanted to celebrate our wedding in. From the start Greta was amazing at answering all of our questions and helping my husband and I plan the wedding of our dreams. She made the wedding planning process a breeze and was very supportive until the day we finalized all of the details. I can't write this review without raving about our maitre'd Tina. If it was not for Tina during our reception, I don't think my husband and I would have been able to attempt to eat something that night. Tina made sure we had everything we needed throughout the night, set up the hall absolutely perfectly, and even made sure we followed our timeline. Although it rained nonstop on the day of our wedding, Greta, Tina, and the entire staff made sure we had a night we are sure to remember forever.
Villa Bianca is an amazing venue! Greta and her team are so supportive and truly made my now husband and I feel as if they had everything under control. The wedding planning process was crazy and made even crazier with covid but every step of the way, even through moving our date and the planning process, the team at Villa Bianca were so helpful and understanding. Our wedding ceremony was beautiful and the reception was a blast! We are so grateful for Villa Bianca for helping us make our day magical even through all the madness.
WOW... What an Amazing Wedding Weekend at the Villa Bianca ! ... JUST WOW ! It was so perfect! It deserves 10 stars .. Let me start with Greta she was amazing and was so understanding to help us plan my daughter's wedding over this past year .. and believe me it wasn't easy .. but Greta kept us calm especially me .. who is very detailed oriented .. and a perfectionist ... I have to say that everything was done Perfectly ... The night before the wedding the bride and the girls stayed at the Penthouse which was absolutely beautiful and the Groom and the guys stayed at the mansion .. they had so much fun and it was a perfect way to start the wedding weekend. On the day of the wedding everything went according to plan and all mostly based on recommendations from Villa Biana.. whether it was the flowers which were absolutely beautiful and done by Flowers by Danielle, the Limos provided by Villa Bianca were right on time and the drivers Gilbert and Eddie .. were both terrific , the DJ was Mike from Music in Motion and the reception was over the Top... We had it outside in the Pavilion ... and our guest thought that they were in Italy it was so beautiful ! The food was so delicious, during the cocktail hour all the Hors d'oeuvre selections were absolutely amazing, with the carving stations and the mash potato bar .. everything was perfect ! .... including the bartenders and the drink selections. Our Maître d' Tina was great and very attentive to all our needs and made sure all the little details to make the reception perfect were provided. The meal during the reception from the salad, appetizer and the main courses .. were all delicious and cooked perfectly ! The prime rib was cooked to order and all our guests can't stop raving about how delicious the food was. The wedding cake was a cannoli cake provided by Del Prete Italian Bakery it was so delicious and again perfectly done !. Even after the reception was over , we had an after party in the Mansion .. and again everything was perfect .. the Mansion was beautiful and a terrific way to end our day of celebrating the wedding ! Several of our guests stayed at the Villa Bianca and were very happy and impressed with the accommodations ... I can't stop saying how perfect everything was at the Villa Bianca... and highly recommend this venue ! Thank you Greta and the Villa Bianca staff for making my daughter's wedding a huge success ! Our guests kept telling us that it was the best wedding they ever attended!
Villa Bianca was not our first choice but definitely the best choice. We had a venue for a large wedding picked out and after COVID crumpled them, the old venue refused to host our wedding. Villa bianca CAME TO THE RESCUE. Greta helped us and made us feel at ease from the first time we spoke. Greta, Tina and the staff were phenomenal and did everything they could to have our dream wedding with less than 60 days to plan. Tina took all of our worry off our shoulders so we could have a spectacular night. Villa Bianca, as a whole, gave us a warm family attitude and a true willingness to help.
We just had my daughter's wedding at Villa Bianca. I can not say enough about the Villa! Greta was so wonderful through the whole process! She is such a lovely woman and cares about each and every wedding she is a part of. The packages are wonderful, from soup to nuts just about everything is included and the variety of packages are just great. Made to fit any budget. I know I may be bias, since I gave the wedding, but I feel like it was the best, funnest wedding I have ever been to. Including my own. So many of the guests told me it was THE best wedding they have ever attended. The food is spectacular. The Villa has tastings. So before you pick your meals you can find what you and your guests will love for the menu. Greta was so helpful and treated us so well! Everything we needed and more! Our maire d Tina was an expert at what she does. We were late for everything, but she kept everything moving as it should. It was such an amazing experience. Thank you all so much for making my daughter's dream of a fairy tale wedding become the best reality ever!
I only have great things to say about Villa Bianca! Living out of state, I was worried about having a venue hours away. From the day I booked my wedding with Greta, we had a great experience, minus minor hiccups, most of which were related to a wind storm that knocked out power. The staff were very accommodating during this experience and you could tell how involved they were with making sure our special day was exactly that. The team on the day of were very professional and helpful, especially Tina and Anthony. We used the Regency Ballroom and the chapel and the space was great for 110 people. The food was delicious. Also, the estate is beautiful! I would highly recommend anyone hosting their wedding or other event at Villa Bianca, and I know I will be back.
We had our wedding at Villa Bianca on October 19th. Greta was amazing! From the first time we met with her we knew we had found everything we were looking for. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we wanted and MORE! From start to finish, she answered every question I had (I called her at least once a day lol) and made sure everything was absolutely perfect!
My Maitre D Tina was awesome!! She made sure that everything was flawless the day of and was always an arms length away if we needed anything at all! Our whole day ran so smoothly, from before the ceremony to the very end of the reception. I could not have asked for someone more caring or attentive to be by my side all day. Simply AMAZING!
We had our ceremony in the chapel and pictures on the grounds afterwards. The chapel is gorgeous and the grounds are breathtaking!
Our reception was held in the Rose Ballroom. Beautiful French doors, large dance floor and the food was delicious! We were completely blown away by the Venetian table!
We can not thank all of the staff at Villa Bianca enough for making our wedding day the most amazing day EVER!
Villa Bianca was nothing short of amazing for our wedding! Greta was very easy to reach, answered all of my questions in a timely manner and went out of her way to make sure our wedding was perfect!
Our maitre d’s Tina and Carla were beyond amazing! They ensured that everything went perfect from before the ceremony to the very end of the reception. Tina was very attentive to my husband and I throughout the night and made sure we had everything we needed!
Anthony was also amazing! He helped set up for the wedding and added his “personal touch” to the decor and it came out better than I could have imagined!
Villa Bianca was the perfect choice for our wedding! All of our guests had an amazing time and raved about the food, service, and decor!!
Just got married at the Villa Bianca this past weekend. I could not think of a single way that our wedding could have been improved. Greta and our matradee bent over backwards the entire time to make sure everything was perfect at all times. The matradee in particular ran the entire show organizing coordinating with the photographer and the Dj. The site was beautiful and the food was fantastic. Which I was concerned about because the tasting left a little to be desired. We did get the big package at ~120$ a person but I would do it all over again. Music in motion Dj service did both the ceremony and the reception. And had all of the weird music requests (A lot of punk and video game music). While the photographer Tina Marie knew exactly what she was doing. Both of them are preferred vendors recommended by Greta and made the entire wedding experience one of a life time.
Now our entire Bridal party also booked rooms at the villa which allowed us to host a nice after party without making a noise complaint as well. Some people did complain about the shower water pressure but as someone who had the penthouse suite it was an excellent experience.
They also hosted our rehearsal dinner for a very reasonable cost and made us a custom menu of our choice. I would highly recommend them for a wedding.
Greta is wonderful to work with. She really makes you feel special. The place is absolutely beautiful. The food was wonderful and Tina is fantastic. Highly recommend.
Ty & I had gotten Married on November 25, 2017 @ The Inn A Villa Bianca, and Everything was Amazing!! From the planning meetings to the final meeting Greta was there every step of the way. The Food was Amazing and there was a Cocktail Hour, & Buffet Dinner, with the Carving Stations too! Greta Libiano & the 2 Matrons & Bartender were my coordinators for the Day and he made everything go off without a Hitch. From the moment I stepped in the Building, they was Attentive & Personable, and made Our Special Day Flow. We had beautiful weather 56* in November. All my Guest were Raving about the Food, and the Place. I would get married there every year if I could! ***** 5 STARS
Villa Bianca made our wedding perfect. Everything was so organized and exactly as planned. Greta and the entire team was such a pleasure to work with, they took all the stress away and let us enjoy our perfect day. Thank you Villa Bianca!

We got married 07/29/17. I am so glad that we picked this venue. From the moment I saw the outside ceremony space, I knew this was the place were I wanted to have my wedding. Greta is an amazing person she is ALWAYS available and very attentive to all your needs. She helped us every step of the way and answered every single question that we had. This venue is definitely the bang for your buck. The food is very good, better thank your typical wedding food. Villa Bianca puts together packages with everything you need so that you don't have to shop around for vendors. I felt that we got everything we needed with the package that we picked. The staff is amazing as well and very knowledgeable and professional. I have to give a big thank you to Tina, Carla and Debbie for their amazing customer service. Villa Bianca provides you with everything you need, there is no need to look further for a venue. You will not be disappointed!
From the first moment I met Greta at my very first bridal show I knew that the Inn at Villa Bianca is where I wanted to celebrate with my family and friends. My first sit down with Greta she made me feel important. Every step of the way if I needed clarification, or even if I needed to talk to someone she was there for me. Greta and the Inn at Villa Bianca was the perfect fit for me and my wedding guest. Every encounter that both my husband and I had with her we were always laughing and having a great time. The night before my wedding I was in her office still getting things together for the next day (4/29/17) and she helped out a lot. Tina the maitre d was another lovely person who helped me from the moment she met me during my rehearsal. The next day she made sure that everything ran smooth and that I ate my food and also drank water and any other beverage I wanted to. Hands down the food, the chapel space, the picture space and the Regency room were all very great. My guest loved it all. I will always recommend the Inn at Villa Bianca to everyone who wants to get married and even do their next event, and even if you do not want to have an event their hotel rooms/penthouse was as comfortable as your own home. Staff was great. Greta and Tina were awesome!!!!!!
I was married at Villa on April 8, 2017. From our first meeting with Greta, we knew Villa was the place we would have our wedding reception. Not only did we have our wedding reception there, but we also utilized the chapel for our ceremony. We honestly can't say enough about Villa. It started with Greta. Simply amazing. Always there no matter what. Whether it was to answer a question, accommodate any of our needs and request and set our minds at ease that our day was going to be everything we dreamed of and more, and it was exactly that. The staff at our wedding was amazing as well. Tina is irreplaceable. She made us feel and know that everything would go off without a hitch and she made sure it did. Ryan was just as good. Both of them were there throughout the night making sure Kyle and I were well taken care of. The staff couldn't be better.
We really had an amazing day and we couldn't have done it without all of you!
We can't thank you all enough!
A big thank you to Greta and the staff at Villa Bianca for making my wedding my dream come true. From the planning process to the day of the wedding, everything went smoothly and the end result was absolutely amazing. Greta was always available to answer our questions and respond to our concerns. The reception was held in the Crystal Room. The lighting and decor was absolutely beautiful. The guests were raving about the appetizers --- the fried calamari, buffalo wings, and meatballs to name a few. The main entrees were superb. The Maitre d's took care of everything seamlessly. The room setup was better than we envisioned. Everything was perfect. And let's not forget DJ Mike, he had everyone on the dance floor. The room was energized all night long. It was the most memorable and beautiful day ever. Thank you Villa Bianca
WE JUST CELEBRATED MY DAUGHTER'S QUINCEANERA PARTY AND WE WOULD LIKE TO THANKS ALL THE VILLA BIANCA TEAM FOR THE EXCELLENT SERVICE.MY GUESTS HAD A NICE TIME AND MY FAMILY TOO!APETIZERS AND DINNER WERE DELICIOUS . THANK YOU ALL THE VILLA BIANCA STAFF CATERED TO MY GUESTS,EVERITHING WAS PERFECT.THANK YOU AGAIN VILLA BIANCA FOR HELPING US TO MAKE OUR DREAM COME TRUE.
LOVED, LOVED, LOVED, every minute of our wedding!!! Ryan was amazing, food was delish, and the setting was beautiful!!!
Can't say enough good things about Villa Bianca! I worked with Greta and she completely took the stress out of wedding planning. Everything was beautiful and reasonably priced. The venue was spectacular and my guest stars loved everything. I highly recommend.
We had the most amazing wedding at the Inn at Villa Bianca. Greta my wedding coordinator was amazing with planning, helping with budgets and answered all my questions.
We had an outdoor ceremony (in the gardens) and an indoor reception. Our wedding was on the smaller side but I still got full attention from my personal Matre D. She set up everything and saw my vision perfectly. I can safely say my wedding would not have run smoothly without her.
I stayed with my bridesmaids in the penthouse the night before which is essentially a one bedroom loft, two bathrooms, a kitchen and a sauna to help reduce stress. In addition, there was plenty of room to get ready, have our brunch, do makeup etc.
The best part about the Inn was the package deal. There was so much included that there was very little I needed to plan. From the cake, alcohol, food, limo to the overnight stay we got to enjoy everything and didn't worry about vendors or anything else.
I would definitely recommend the Inn for weddings big and small to couples who want to enjoy their planning experience and want everything all in one place.
I am so happy that we chose The Inn at Villa Bianca for both our ceremony and reception venue. They were extremely accommodating and helpful in every way. I loved my Maitre' d Tina, who was an absolute sweetheart and really helped calm my nerves on the day of. Greta, also went absolutely above and beyond. She set up all of my centerpieces, which I decided to make on my own.
The food was delicious as well, and guests were happy with the meals and service. We felt they were extremely organized and helped everything from ceremony, to cocktail h0ur and reception go smoothly. We had a couple "bumps" on the wedding day, weather-wise and this is when Villa was extremely accommodating. We had the estate booked for an outdoor ceremony and the pergola (a semi-outdoor wooden covering) reserved for our reception. However, it did rain on our wedding day...something we were very nervous about happening. The staff at Villa kept a constant eye on the weather and offered us the ballroom of our choice (I highly recommend Crystal) at no extra cost. We were able to have our ceremony by the gazebo still, as the staff tirelessly dried seats for our guests. So thanks to Villa we still had our outdoor wedding ceremony!
Any bride who is looking for an affordable quality wedding should definitely consider Villa Bianca! :-)
My wedding was just the other night, 12/31/15...I do not know where to begin the other negative reviews on here are just not true! Our wedding night was perfect everything they said they were going to do they did! Karen who was with us from our original tour to the final appointment is AMAZING! Karen constantly calmed our nerves and reassured us our day would be perfect. Villa Bianca threw in an extra toast at midnight since we were married on New Year's Eve to make it extra special! I brought abbroughtguestbook and several other items to be used during the wedding and they were all displayed correctly as I wanted! Food and Drink were great and I have received many, many compliments from my guests on how awesome of a night they had! Also, not to be forgotten Tina our maitre d the day of was amazing made sure we ate and had a drink in our hand the entire night. I'm sad because there are some negative comments on here and it made me weary but our night was so perfect I highly, highly recommend Villa Bianca! I would do it all over again in a second!!!
My daughter and her husband got married here on August 29, 2015. Villa Bianca made sure that every detail was perfect. They lined up the bridal party for the chapel wedding and made sure everything was done correctly. After, at the reception, everything flowed beautifully. The food was good and plentiful. All the ballrooms are beautiful. We were in the Crystal Ballroom, which was gorgeous. We were very pleased with the wedding. My only complaint, is the guest rooms at the villa are really run down, except the bridal suites. So your guest might do better going to the Hilton in the next town.
If you're looking for a beautiful & affordable venue you've found it! When we visited The Inn at Villa Bianca, we absolutely fell in love with their outdoor Pavillion. (They also have multiple ballrooms which are beautiful, but the outdoor reception was more our style.) They were very easy to work with all leading up to the wedding.
They also offer several different packages, one of which includes your basic DJ, photographer, cake fees when you use their preferred vendor list. (This plan worked great for us because it helped narrow down our list of possible vendors and ended up being cheaper in the long run since we weren't having a huge wedding.)
There were a few problems on the wedding day, hence why I couldn't give them 5 stars. First, there was an issue where they misplaced our placecards and set our favors at random chairs. (We had already given them a list of which favors went to whom as some were alcoholic, and we had children & adult guests who didn't drink.) This left us scrambling to find them and get all the favors reset an hour before the wedding.
Also, they were a bit shortstaffed so by the time we made it to the cocktail hour after photos and such, there was still a line a mile long at our open bar since they only had 1 bartender.(Keep in mind this was 45mins after the cocktail hour started).
Lastly, while our guests said the food was good we didn't enjoy our meals as they were cold by the time we could eat them. (The server actually walked out in the middle of our MOH/BM toasts and set the plates in front of us.) Needless to say it was super distracting in the middle of the toasts and our food was cold by the time the toasts & photos were done.
Overall, I still think we made the right choice as the venue was very beautiful and exactly what we were looking for....but I will say I'm a SUPER low-key person(my husband would've likely given a worse rating) so any brides who are a bit more high maintenance than me might not have been quite so happy.
My [now] husband and I checked out this venue for our wedding and during the tour we were NOT impressed. We parked around back to go into the office and meet with their wedding coordinator. There were broken beer bottles in the parking lot that looked like they were still there from a previous wedding. My thing is, especially if you know you're doing tours- get it together. We toured the building and honestly it smells musty and like the carpets need a good cleaning. The venue is a a bit odd with the hodgepodge of walkways outside leading you from one area to another, I could
Imagine walking these hills in heels- it would be a nightmare for me and my guests.
Since then I have been to an event here and saying the food was excellent would be generous. I felt like the food was average, white sauces over pasta were a little salty.
Overall, I really don't think this place is worth the money. Plates were like $120/pp (which could be different now) at the time I checked which didn't include tip or tax. I feel like if you're spending that much the quality overall should be better.
The Inn and Villa Bianca is the place to get married in CT! Karen was so helpful in answering all of our questions and scheduling times to meet with us throughout the whole wedding planning process. Carla and Jessica were the ladies that were on hand during the wedding day and words do not express how thankful I am for them. They went above and beyond to ensure the day went off perfectly. Carla was calming and got anything my family and I possibly needed while getting ready on the day of the wedding. She made sure that everything was done on time and was there whenever I needed anything. She is the best! The ceremony was at Villa's Chapel which is absolutely gorgeous with the exposed wood beam ceilings. We had our reception in the Regency room, which has a separate bar area which is fun for guests to mingle in during the wedding. My guests cannot say enough good things about the service or the food. Villa Bianca takes care of all the small details for you, so that you are able to enjoy your wedding. I would highly recommend Villa Bianca to anyone getting married. It is the perfect place!
I just had my wedding reception at The Villa Bianca this past weekend and I can’t say enough nice things about the Villa Bianca and their staff. I was a little skeptical leading up to the 6 months prior to the wedding because it seemed like there was slight disorganization in the office after I initially booked my day and signed the contract I was not given all the paperwork I apparently needed, etc. also I had read negative reviews on other sites. In the 2 months preceding my wedding the office staff I spoke with Karen and LeeAnn were easy to communicate with and pleasant. The week of my wedding everyone rested any doubts I had and the day of my wedding I can truly say the staff, bartenders, my maître dee Leostina, and the owner Tony could not have been more hospitable, thorough, patient and on point for Everything. I gave the staff detailed instructions with my head counts, menu selection, seating chart, and pictures of how I wanted my centerpieces and minor decorations set up and they made it all happen . Everything was where I wanted it to be and had specified from the seating chart to the party favors, even the signature cocktail I wanted they did flawlessly. It does help if you are organized and provide them with this information and they give you a packet to write this all in but I also included a typed list hitting the highlights from my head count, how many people for each entrée, seating chart with food selections for each person, and pictures of how I wanted the centerpieces I made set up, which they appreciated. All my guests loved the venue (we had the outdoor pavilion) and everyone commented how amazing the food was. Comparatively we spent much less than several other venues we checked out and the Silver Package at the Villa came with 6 butler style horderves that we got to choose from a selection, cheese, vegetable tray, wine at the tables, bread, salad, soup, pasta and guests got to choose from 1 of three fine course entrée selections that came with our choice of vegetable and starch, a 5 hour open bar and 3 hours of limo service! We ran late at our ceremony which pushed everything back and everyone at the Villa was very accommodating to this, especially our maitredee Leostina, who kept everything on point and flowing as it needed to be. we had arranged a few days prior and paid for additional limo service at the end of the night for our out of town guests to get back to the hotel, and Tony himself waited and followed through on this even as we were running late. They cleaned up all our decorations nicely and communicated with us to make sure we had what we wanted to take with us at the end of the night, and what we would like to pick up later. When we picked up all the leftover decorations the following day it was all there, packed nicely and neatly. If anyone has had issues with them in the past, I firmly believe it could be that they did not properly communicate what they wanted. It may take you time to prepare detailed lists and pictures but if you do, it helps them know what you would like and leaves less room for error. I’m so happy I chose this venue for my special day, thanks to everyone there for making it a phenomenal experience.
The Inn at Villa Bianca was beautiful. Tony the owner was always available to answer any questions we needed. He worked with us on pricing and bundling to help us get the best deals we could get. The food was amazing, everyone raved about it. The only issue I had was I felt they might have understaffed so it was hard to flag people down to ask questions and my Matre D was busy assisting the staff during dinner.
Other than that I would recommend this place to anyone.
We just had our wedding here on 9/29/13 and we loved it! We got married outside at the Estate and had our reception in the crystal room and everything was beautiful! Debi & Carla was so wonderful and friendly. All our family and friends said they had a wonderful time. I would definitely recommend the Villa!
We just had our wedding here on 9/7/13 and we loved it! We got married in the chapel and had our reception in the crystal room and everything was beautiful! It was a great value everything was included in our package so it made it so simple to plan. All our family and friends said they had a wonderful time. I would definitely recommend the villa!
Attended neighbor daughter's wedding. The wedding ceremony was held in the chapel. It was a very intimate setting. The cocktail hour was outside and very nicely set up. A lot of room to socialize with other guests. The hor d'oeuvres were delicious--a good variety of hot and good. Then on to the indoor reception! Food and more food! Delish!!! I really liked the chocolate fountain! The staff was attentive and the reception room just the right size. Overall, we were impressed!
I recently had my wedding here (7/5/13) outside in the Pergola and it was amazing. The food was excellent and our maitre d, Jessica was beyond excellent. We ended up booking our baker and dj through them and that was a big help. I was nervous because we didn't go over the final details until a month before that date (their policy) but we got exactly what we wanted. I did have to call several times with questions since there was no appointed person to contact but they were still very helpful. I 100% recommend this place for your wedding.
As a young couple getting married on a budget the deal that we got for February was Fantastic. We got the venue, open bar, chocolate fountain, limo service, cake, invitations, catering, & overnight Suite all included. I have heard good things about Villa in the past. While I want to give Villa a good review for trying - this is a very hard one to write. Leading up to the wedding was awful, the person we first signed our contract with ended up being fired (Thank Goodness). He was the most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. However, after that it seemed all the way up until about a month before the wedding they seemed to go through office staff like dirty clothes. Every time I called I got a different person and had to go through every detail all over again. Thankfully they temporarily convinced an old employee (who had left for a better career) to come back and help us. This woman knew her stuff and was on top of everything and really put me at ease. Overall for the wedding they were very accommodating and followed all my instructions for table arrangements etc. to the tee and the room was beautiful! They ended up short staffed (maybe because it was the off season?) for the reception and our Limo driver ended up being a server as well. Then, our Matre'D that was supposed to be only for us ended up running around as a waitress as well. Everyone there earned every penny we paid, the poor staff was so busy! We managed to let everything slide and were able to relax a bit and enjoy our night .For every mistake that was made there was someone to make up for it or that tried to correct the wrong that happened, and for that I have to give them kudos.
Overall our wedding reception was beautiful, the staff the day of was on point, the food was delicious, and we were able to let the little things go. I really would recommend Villa Bianca to others, I would just suggest waiting until they Iron out their Office Staff and wedding coordinator positions.
Our wedding day was everything I could imagine! our guests were very impressed with the venue, food, service, and professionalism of the staff working the day of the wedding. I must say that the Maitre D', Frida, was incredible and worked very well with myself, the wedding party and guests. I could not have done it without her.
You are able to select different wedding packages at different price points, and have the option to use recommended vendors. Villa Bianca contacts those vendors and you don't have to worry about it! Everyone shows up and it all comes together beautifully.
All of that being said, the reason I am giving the venue 4/5 stars is because we felt unprepared with the number of people handling our wedding. When we had our initial meeting with the Villa Bianca, we spoke to Lorenzo with whom we developed a trusting relationship. Lorenzo promised us "X" we signed our contract, we were excited! When we called the venue after that, we spoke to a different person almost every time (and never Lorenzo). Each individual assured us that they were all in cahoots and anyone could handle our calls, questions, concerns, appointments etc. Unfortunately, this was not accurate. There happened to be a lot of turnover in the office during the time which we were planning and things got missed. This was frustrating for us... especially just days before the wedding.
In the end we were so incredibly happy. Villa Bianca did a beautiful job and we felt very well taken care of.
The day was perfect for our outdoor garden ceremony at Villa Bianca and the site was beautiful. The maittre'd Tina was fabulous and worked extremely hard throughout our night. The food was a lot better than what we tasted at our sampling. The only downfall is that they scheduled a rehearsal at 5, and ourceremony was supposed to begin at 5:30, and that Tina was the maitre'd for 2 weddings in the same night. The prices can't be beat, but the service and details if give a little more thought and organization would have been perfect. The chocolate fountain was delicious, a pleasant surprise, the fire outside was nice because it got a little cool at night, and our pictures taken at Villa Biance were beautiful.
First off this wasn't my wedding but a very good friends wedding. I called the day before the actual event to see it I could get a room at the venue so I could drink and enjoy myself without worrying. First off the staff is friendly, but that is the only reason this place gets 2 stars and not just one. First off they were about to send another group of guests to the penthouse cause 'the bride wasn't getting ready there'. I had to inform them that she was most certainly on her way and the whole bridal party was getting ready there as well. Strike 1
The hallways/stairwells smell like pee and must. I finally haul everything up the three flights of stairs and get into my room which had a giant wasp sitting on the bed when I walked in. After killing the wasp with my hairspray I inspected the room more, the glass in the window didn't fit so there was a random 1 inch gap between the glass and the window pane, hence the wasp. There were stains on the carpet, a label on the ad unit saying it was last inspected in 2004, rips in the outdated wallpaper, and a dead moth in one of the drawers. It also looked like the cleaning staff didn't completely pick up before I checked in as there were soap wrappers on the floor and trash in the tear age can in the bathroom. I went back to my car to get flip flops cause it just felt dirty to walk on the carpet barefoot. Dirty outdated rooms, strike 2.
Finally got ready and ready to go the the wedding, and seeing as how there were no signs at all i had to ask where to go and how to get there. Either way you take it you have to walk down a ridiculously steep hill to get to the chapel or to the outside ceremony, women beware take it slow or grab onto someone for help. Once seated for the ceremony and waiting a group of about 40 people just wandered up, turns out they were there for a rehearsal for the wedding held the next night and we all quickly realized the venue double booked the space, well thankfully the other party was understanding and they were to rehearse in the chapel instead. The wedding ceremony itself was wonderful, but that was due to the pastor and the couple planning that part than anything the venue did. They also didn't have enough chairs out and guest had to stand since the staff only brought more chairs for one more row for each side. Strike 3
Now for the reception, my table never got rolls, even though we gave our choice to the bride when we RSVPd the waiter still asked, they were still hanging decorations when we walked in so there was a ladder in the middle of the reception, they didn't set up all the reception cards the way the bride asked, and they only had one bartender. The food itself was not good at all. No one really enjoyed their meals, and to top it off our table never got cake either.
After the villa arranged for a large group of us to go to a bar down the street, I was with the bride and groom, we were assured they would pick us back up... Yeah limo never came, thankfully we had a friend that drove ther and drove us back with a few trips. By time we got back, the limo was parked and staff was gone. I was in the lobby looking for some to talk to about all of this but no staff in sight, I did see the other limo pull up and went to talk to him, Eddie was very friendly and very apologetic. All in all I don't think I would suggest this venue at all, friendly staff does not make up for the overall lack of quality.
My guests stayed here, I got married in the chapel, and had my reception in the Crystal room. Every part of the experience was amazing. The packages at the Villa Bianca are affordable and my guests raved about the food. Wish I could get married here every year.
Our wedding was wonderful. The food was great, the service during the event was good and the Pergola was the perfect place to have our late August 2011 wedding. Villa Bianca has recently updated their outdoor pergola facility and it's beautiful. The outside of Villa Bianca is a very typical Italian-style venue. The indoor banquet rooms are the same. However - the outdoor Pergola is awesome! When we saw the garden facility we quickly make our decision. The garden grounds are very pretty and you feel secluded from the rest of the property which is very nice. There were other weddings going on at the same time and we didn't even notice. The value at Villa Bianca is very good. You will save thousands of dollars by booking with them since they will include limo service, the cake and the center pieces. The limo drivers the day of our wedding were simply great! The food was very good. We recommend the filet and salmon. The owner, Tony even ensured that they would get Guiness on tap for our wedding. Overall, everything was good. I only have two cons about this venue:
1. Do not have your guests stay at the Inn (poor service and very outdated amenities). However, the bridal suite was awesome.
2. The wedding coordinator was not very helpful and made me feel as though my 3 calls to her in 13 months were an annoyance. Luckily, everything turned out great without the extra support from her.
All of our guests very much enjoyed the wedding and continue to comment on how wonderful everything was at Villa Bianca during the event.
My husband and I were very pleased overall that we chose Villa Bianca for our ceromony and receiption. The wedding took place August 26th of this year at 6 in the evening.
The grounds were beautiful and the food was great! People are still talking about the food and top shelf alcohol. We got our money worth. Devon was a pleasure to work with. There were a couple of minor things that we had to address after the event. One, the sign directing our guest to our location was misspelled and not very exact so that some guest went into the chapel (someone elses wedding) insted of the garden gazebo where we were located. Second, their were alot of flying insects on the lawn that should have been sprayed, and last we would not recommend staying overnight at the inn because it is very dated and not what you would imagine for your honeymoon nite.
The grounds itself are beautiful and they were very organized and helpful while preparing for the wedding.
But our maitre D was nice but she did not listen very well. We told her to serve the whole wedding cake since we were not saving the top tier and she gave it to us to bring home, unsliced. And for our reception entrance, all of our bridal party was supposed to dance and have fun coming in to their own song, and she yelled at them and told them that this is a wedding and to take it seriously.
Our bartender was amazing. He was the nephew of the owner, and took his job very seriously! He was great!
The dinner also felt very rushed. There was no time in between meals, they just kept them coming. My husband and I did not even eat! I told them to leave our plates, as we were walking about and they took them instead. When we told the maitre D, she apologized and then gave us a tray of cheese and crackers. I havent eaten allllllll day! But dont worry, I didnt want dinner, a snack will do fine. (sarcasm)
It was a nice place, but if I were to do it all over again, I do not think I would choose them.
STAFF WAS WONDERFUL,AND HELPFUL
My wedding took place the weekend after Hurricane Irene hit CT. Two days before our wedding we were told that we needed to find a new location because our banquet hall could not guarentee that there will be electricity. We went to Villa Bianca and they said "You are here, you can stop worrying". The staff at the Villa Bianca were beyond amazing, they were helpful, understanding, and empathic to the situation my fiance and I were in. The food was amazing, our guests could not stop raving about what a good time they had at our wedding. We know that a big part of that goes to the accomodations and atmosphere of the Villa Bianca. We could not believe the kindness that was shown to us just 2 days before our wedding. When we left that day we knew we were going to have an amazing wedding and our level of stress was greatly diminished. The night of the wedding our guests were treated so nicely. We had our dream wedding when for a period of time it looked like all of our plans were washed away. I would recommend the Villa Bianca to any bride and groom. They have 2 amazing ball rooms and a spectacular outdoor reception area.
My husband and I got married here during hurricane Irene. We were supposed to have our reception in the outdoor pavilion. However, with the hurricane winds we obviously had to move inside. They did their best to accommodate our setup of 250 people to match what would have been outside. They also worked with us to provide us with the type of food, beer, and centerpieces we wanted. They gave amazing service throughout the reception and the food came out hot. The only complaint from guests was the cocktail hour didn't have enough food (even though we had a raw bar and extras).. So i don't know if they forgot to bring things out? Other than that, Villa Bianca had amazing customer service, great food and an awesome atmosphere! They never made us feel rushed even though we HAD to be out by around midnight because they were closing route 34 due to the hurricane! I couldn't have been any happier with how our wedding turned out and would highly recommend them to others.
My wedding was everything I hoped for and more. Villa Bianca did a wonderful job and the food was great. My favorite part was the chocolate fountain. If you are looking for a great out door wedding location give them a call.
This place was excellent!!! There was a horrible storm the day of my wedding and everyone was running late. When I arrived the maitre d was great. She took care of everything. She helped me out of the car so I woudln't get wet, made sure my husband,my family, my wedding party, and I had everything we needed. The place also kept the party going longer due to the weather and people getting there late. And when my cake didn't show up, they made sure to get me a cake and decorated it with flowers from my tables so they would match. Everyone raved about the food as well. This place was GREAT!!!!
My fiance (now husband) and I had never heard of the Villa Bianca let alone been to a wedding there. When it popped up on a Google Search, we decided to go. Devon, on of the event coordinators was great showing us around and explaining everything. Tony, the owner and chef wined and dined us when we were trying to make our final decision. We were sold! The main reason we chose VB is that it was different from anywhere our friends had been. Also, their outdoor pergola gave us the option for an outdoor reception (which I wanted). The best part was the price! For $120 per person (270 people including ourselves) our package include open bar for the entire night, cocktail hour, cake, DJ, photographer, 125 invitations, limo service, centerpieces, table linens, and the penthouse room at the inn for the night. On top of all that, they added in a chocolate fountain and all the chair covers and sashes. Our wedding day went off without any hitches and all of our guests raved about how much fun they had!
What was good:
1)The food
2)Food portions very generous
3)Staircase and updated look of place
4)Works with budget
What Went Wrong:
1) I spent months with my photographer planning where to take pictures in the gardens that the villa allows you to use. On the day of my wedding in November staff members were digging up the gardens in the back. Even though I visit the villa 3 time within the week of my wedding no body told me
2) I spent lots of time with name cards and dinner choices for my guests and the waitstaff asked all of my guests the day of the wedding what they wanted and if they wanted to change the original selection. Most guests did that when they saw the portion of the prime rib. This caused delays in meals being served timely. I had guest getting the dinner while we were cutting the cake. Enough food is made because you give totals and when you stray you much from the original you get problems and the problem was not enough prime rib. In the end all were fed but not happy.
3) Staff not being around when parties in other rooms go out of control. On the day of my wedding in the room next door a fraternity party was going on. The frat party crashed my wedding to help themselves to the free bar. We did have some villa staff Frita and the Bartender who caught on kick them out. However, it did not stop the frat party from getting into the upstairs bridal sweet where people were caught making out. A fight broke out in the hall. The staff who caught some did what they could but having a frat party and wedding on the same day. Money is money but college parties can get out of hand and my wedding day was for one day and could not be made up.
Overall, the villa caught my eye for appeal and food but, I was very disappointed. Communication about the gardens was never discussed, parties are parties but if you do a wedding and frat party in the same night have better staff to guard in problems like this. I called to complain after my honeymoon and I got a sorry from the owner and a gift card. The food overall was good and look of the Villa was great. I am not sure I would recommend and I would tell people to ask as many questions and get it in writing.
Villa Bianca was wonderful during the entire planning process all the way though the end of the wedding day. Christine Manager/Coordinator was wonderful, from our 1st meeting all the way though, she was there, anything I needed, any
concerns that I had she was too quick with everything.
Day of we had Kyle as our Matire 'D he was the best (I wish I could take him home with me....but I don't know if my husband would be to happy about that) anything we needed or wanted he was there, right down to fixing my train before I walked down the asile, b ecause everyone else forgot. Everything went off without any issues, I had the day I allways dreamed of.
everything was just how i wanted it. i had the lovely staircase to walk down when my husband and i were introduced for the first time, the flowers for the tables were included, the area for pictures was GREAT, and the staff was superb in making sure everything went as planned.
The staff was incredible they were there when we needed them and were very detail oriented.;When we went through the paper work 2 weeks before the wedding I was told that the bride sits to the grooms right, I had also made it very obvious that I wanted one large head table with all 10 of us at it. When we got to the hall to sit down the bridesmaids and myself were sitting on the grooms left and on his family's side of the room. They had a table set for 10 but then there was a sweetheart table behind the head table. This of course took us by surprise and it was very important to us to sit with our bridal party. At the time that we found this out it was too late to do anything, I know it is something very minor but again it was very important to be able to sit with our bridal party during our wedding and we werent able to do so.
Food was excellent staff was great very attentive to our needs. Packages were great. Our package included open bar our cake and our limo and prices were very reasonable
Everything was placed in pristine order. Every waitstaff was courteous, alert and professional. The event coordinator even came out and took the time to come and make sure all was to our satisfaction. From the limo ride to and from the church, the driver was so courteous, he made a point to check sports scores for us since we had a baseball themed wedding. The Cakes, appetizers, flowers on the tables, all the way to our wedding night accomodations was covered to the maximum and professional service. No one had anything negative to say about the service nor the food. Everything was beyond our expectations.
The staff was unbelievably wonderful. Reception set up to my specifications. Maitre D' was perfect. Food was outstanding,. Service was exceptional. Most of all the value per dollar was the best.
How the Villa Inn took care of everything from my center pieces, cake, limo, and linens.
