HOLY FLOWERS, BATMAN! Again, we began our order with Village Florist with the vendor package level of flowers here and ended up adding: a couple extra centerpieces, more bridal party florals, some fireplace garlands, a couple large floral arrangements for the foyer, fresh cake flowers, and we rented our moongate arch and added florals all on/around that – which was used during our ceremony and reception. Our meeting with Amanda was super thorough and fun, I described what we were envisioning for every component of our day and provided as many inspirational photos as possible (flowers play a bigger role than you think) and she delivered! Our flowers were lush, elegant, romantic, classic, and dreamy. Even though we had our wedding day on March 26th (technically a spring day), the day before that it was cold, rainy, and miserable. You’d literally never know it with the sun shining and our beautiful flowers surrounding us the whole day. Our sample arrangement that I picked up in February was lovely… our day of florals were even more beautiful and true to our vision. Village Florist will literally make your floral dreams come true.

We used Amanda for our wedding day. Amanda went above and beyond and I cannot thank her enough, along with her staff, for doing a spectacular job. The bouquet was dropped off at my house and I had photographs I forgot to provide to Amanda to hang from my bouquet. Her staff on the spot made it work and pinned my photos to the bouquet, which I truly appreciated. On the church pews, Amanda made beautiful floral winter arrangements that were even better than any picture I showed her. She took those and brought them to the venue. She did an event the night before at our venue and left Christmas trees and garland, which looked extraordinary. The centerpieces were even better than I could have imagined. People still rave about the floral arrangements to this day. Amanda goes out of her way to make everything work and am so happy I found her. Thank you for making my dream floral arrangements and bouquets - it was a winter wonderland!

The Village Florist did an absolutely amazing job with all the florals for our wedding. They understood the vision we were going for right from the beginning and were such a pleasure to work with. I can’t thank them enough for helping my dream come true!

Village Florist was very reasonably priced, especially with the package offered through our venue. Everyone I spoke to or contacted throughout the process including Amanda, was very nice and friendly. In all these ways, I cannot complain. Despite these things, I was a bit disappointed with the end product I received. Amanda and I had spoken in March, which I understand is some time before the wedding. Between then and the wedding, we exchanged a few emails but not much more than that. In the end, what we agreed to and what was on the contract was not what was given to me. We agreed to "free-form" bouquets for myself and the bridesmaids, and instead I received stiff and round bouquets. The groomsmen were also supposed to have peach boutonnières and instead they were pink. Furthermore, at our initial meeting, I shared photos of what I would like for the mantle, which was a simple garland. Admittedly, we did go back and forth with the mantle, but it was still meant to stay as a garland. Instead I received a large bushel-style flower arrangement. I did receive a lot of compliments on the flowers so I cannot say they did not look good, but many parts were not what I had ordered which is where my issue lies. If certain flower colors were not available, I would have understood if I had received an update ahead of time instead of finding out on the day of. As for the mantle, if by some chance the photos we had gone over during the meeting and in our emails were lost or forgotten, it would have been nice to have been contacted to double check what was decided upon. In the contract I can see how the mantle would be overlooked, but the bouquets especially the bridal bouquet, at the very least were noted in the contract for what shape they should have been.

I can't say enough good things about Amanda and her team. My florals were everything I dreamed of and everything looked so beautiful it brought tears to my eyes. From the bouquets to the reception centerpieces, it was so dreamy and perfect. All of our meetings were organized and all of my sporadic emails asking for help were always answered. They made my vision come to life!

We got married in September. Amanda was nice and helpful but was somewhat rude when I was deciding between vases for the centerpiece. We got a flower arch and flowers for the cake from them, as well as all of the other flowers needed. Everything was beautiful and reasonably priced. They seemed very organized with having us fill out a document and chatting with us on the phone. However, the bouquets were wrapped in silk and I really wanted them wrapped in burlap. I did not love how it looked in the pictures and it did not match with what I wanted.

We had both a small, Covid-safe ceremony and a larger wedding in the past year and a half, both of which Amanda created beautiful floral arrangements for. Amanda was very knowledgeable and was so helpful and attentive throughout the whole planning process. Everything went smoothly day-of, and turned out just as we were hoping!

They were included with the vendor package with Lessing’s, and I couldn’t be happier. We added a lot of extras but for what what was included and what we paid, it was all beautiful. Amanda was great to communicate with and share my vision beautifully. So many guests told me how much they loved the arrangements and my bouquet.

Village Florist and Events was our first choice florist for our wedding and I don't have enough words to express my gratitude we were able to book with them! Amanda was an absolute sweetheart from the beginning and such a pleasure to work with. I showed her a few generic pictures of bouquets I liked and she ran with it and turned my inspiration pictures into the most amazing bouquet I could have hoped for along with bouquets for my bridesmaids and flower girl. Our centerpieces were immaculate thanks to John who helped put them together. I am so thankful I will always have the pictures to look back on! I loved my bouquet so much I took it to a shop to have it preserved!

All of the flowers were so beautiful and fresh. The bouquets were stunning and exactly as requested. Amanda was so helpful and lovely to work with and she knew exactly what we wanted after taking the time to discuss our ideas and wishes.

Everyone at Village Florist was so helpful and friendly. We had our wedding this past October and wanted sunflowers for our center pieces and bouquets and they made sure each one was big and bright; they were perfect. They also recommended viking mums for our boutonnieres and corsages because they look like little sunflowers and they absolutely nailed it. I highly recommend them!

We had Village Florist for the flowers at my daughters recent wedding at the View in Oakdale, wonderful!!!!! We had online conversations with Amanda to pick all our flowers. She made it very easy. The flowers, gazebo decor, bouquets, table scapes were all amazing! So beautiful. I highly recommend this florist for any affair!!

Amanda is incredible. Our bouquets were absolutely stunning. The centerpieces were so elegant-everyone was complimenting the flowers all night. She was so accommodating with our date change (covid) and at the last minute made little flowers for our dogs to wear during the ceremony. I can't say enough great things! Do yourself a favor and use Amanda!

I'm so grateful that we were able to work with Amanda for our wedding! She knew exactly what we were looking for before we said it. All of our flowers were beautiful whites and greens and they complemented everything so well. Between the centerpieces, our bouquets and the boutineres, every vision we had came to life. When it came time to postpone, they were nothing short of helpful. We even added some last minute table numbers and it was no stress at all. Everything was delivered and set up on time and perfectly. Our November 14th wedding was made perfect by the unique bouquets created by Amanda. She designed the wildflower, relaxed bouquet that complemented my vintage dress. The staff was courteous, professional, and very helpful with styling suggestions. The best!!

I was blown away by how beautiful all the flowers were at my wedding. Amanda was so laid back and easy to work with and had great suggestions for my winter wedding. I only knew a general color scheme of dark reds, blushes and whites but had no idea on any flower names. She was able to make my very vague descriptions into the most beautiful bouquets. I couldn’t get over how gorgeous my cascading bouquet was! Our ceremony arch was so lush and the rest of the florals were perfect. She was very thorough and made sure we covered all possible family members and bridal party members would have the correct flowers. Rates were very reasonable and if I ever need a florist in the future I will definitely go back to her.

Our family took home centerpieces the day after our wedding bc they loved them as much as we did!

Amanda did a wonderful job creating centerpieces, bouquets and cake decorations that were exquisite. She was wonderful to work with and had terrific suggestions. Everyone loved her work. She helped make our wedding day a precious memory we will treasure forever!

Amanda (owner of Village Florist) was highly recommended by a photographer we interviewed early on in the planning process. My husband and I don’t know much about flowers...we knew we just wanted to keep things simple but elegant. Amanda was the only florist we met with. We told her our color motif and that was all she needed in order to help us brainstorm and create a vision. She pulled up a bunch of pictures of arrangements and we pointed to the ones that we liked. She made things so easy! During our final meeting we had a few changes to make and Amanda was more than accommodating. On the day of the wedding, the deliveries went smoothly and the flowers were more beautiful than we could have imagined. She had created a sample centerpiece for us during our final meeting and the actual centerpieces turned out to be even more vibrant on the day of the wedding! Amanda also recommended Don’t Toss the Bouquet for bouquet preservation. I didn’t think I’d want to preserve my bouquet, but I felt so sad when I saw the flowers in my bouquet starting to wilt the next day...now I can treasure the bouquet that Amanda made for my wedding day forever! Amanda did such a phenomenal job on my bouquets and centerpieces. She completely wowed me. They were stunning, vibrant and fragrant. I loved my bouquet so much so that I didn't want to put it down(I got very attached🤷‍♀️) . I shared my inspiration photos with her and the day of my flowers were even more beautiful than I could have imagined. Literally gorgeous. We also got married on the hottest day of the year and all of my centerpieces stayed vibrant and beautiful and even fragrant for a few days after the wedding. She was very reasonably priced, easy to work with and very talented. Highly recommend!

Amanda provided me a detailed quote upfront, and allowed me to make changes throughout the process. She created the most stunning outdoor ceremony arch I've ever seen, I couldn't be happier with my florals at my Old Field Club wedding! Amanda really understood my vision and brought it to life on my wedding day! She hand-delivered the bouquets and boutonnieres, even offering to put them on my husband and his groomsman at the hotel. Amanda is the absolute sweetest nicest person to work with. She made our vision come to life and it was nothing short of incredibly gorgeous. Flower crowns were light and airy the bridesmaids loved them. Centerpieces were absolute show stoppers and the ceremony and cocktail Hour flowers were gorgeous. Amanda was amazing! Her attention to detail is unmatched! She was able to sit down with me within days of our first phone call, and was so thorough when reviewing what I envisioned for our wedding last month. She even provided me with a quote that same day, which no other florist did! We last minute made adjustments including an arch and additional floral arrangements and she quickly adjusted! Amanda did an amazing job on our flowers, centerpieces, pew flowers, boutonnieres, etc. Literally everything we asked for and envisioned, she made come to life. When my and my husband had originally started looking for a florist, everyone kept saying "show us what you want" and I couldn't because we didn't know what we wanted. We had color schemes in mind and sizes for centerpieces we wanted, but we needed to be directed on what flowers to choose from. Amanda did just that. During our first appointment with Amanda she showed us so many pictures of different flowers and how they could be arranged and then she even went in the back and pulled flowers for us to look at. It was everything we needed. When we went a few months before the wedding to look at what our centerpieces would look like, I wasn't completely satisfied so she mixed some flowers up and then it was perfect. I highly recommend working with Amanda, she really knows what she is doing!

We used Village Florist as they were a preferred vendor for our venue, and I can see why! Amanda was absolutely wonderful to work with! She understood my vision for centerpieces and the bouquets even though I could barely verbalize it, and wanted to take pieces from multiple photos. She understood what I meant and the execution was on point. She also collaborated with my mom on a surprise and decorated a golf cart for my now husband and I to use for photos. It was perfect! She is wonderful to work with and is great at what she does!

I had no idea how much of a difference good flowers make for a wedding. This is the shop to go to if you want staff who truly care and listen to what you want. They did an outstanding job on our wedding and gave such attention to every detail. If I had to do it all over again I wouldn’t change a thing when it came to our flowers.

Could not have been any happier with the way my wedding flowers turned out. Not only were all the bouquets so beautiful and unique, but the little touches throughout the reception that Amanda put together were absolutely perfect. You can literally just show her a picture of what you want and she knows exactly what to make for you. I cannot recommend enough.

I cannot say enough great things about Amanda! She took my vision for the wedding and completely ran with it; I was in awe of all the boquets and centerpieces that she created. A few weeks before the wedding I decided to stop trying to do DIY centerpieces and she met with me to figure out what I wanted so it would all flow together. She's one of a kind.

My experience with this florist, Amanda was not good. When I met with Amanda for my wedding flowers she was not willing to share suggestions or ideas with me as I was clueless. When I started just listing all the beautiful flowers and everything I wanted she jotted them down with no comments. At the end she told me the price would be over $3,000, naturally I was like well why? Her explanation was that I wanted all these things and thats why. I would have appreciated if she broke down the cost of everything while I was listing items and/or even when I asked her why it cost that much. Instead it felt like she just wanted to make a sale out of me. It killed my experience but I stuck with her because she was grouped into the deal I had with the wedding location. When we figured out something that worked for both of us, I sent her pictures of EXCATLY what I wanted. Most florist will have a sample bouquet for the bride to see when they come make their final payment. That should of been a red flag for me but I was caught up with all other wedding items. The day of my wedding my bridesmaid bouquet were perfect.. my centerpieces although beautiful did not have all the flowers I requested to have in them. My bouquet was the worse of all, smaller than the bridesmaid 's bouquets and nothing at all close to the picture I sent her and with completely different flowers than we discussed. I was upset and they changed the flowers to what I had picked out but it was still tiny and nothing compared to the picture I sent her. After, the wedding Amanda never reached out to me with an apology or offer to refund any money. She was very expensive, not friendly or professional. I would not recommend her and if you can go somewhere else. You should. If you must work with this place, I would recommend being on top of them and seeing a sample before the wedding. Update: Amanda has contacted me and we discussed the miscommunication we seemed to have. She offered me a small refund if I added a nicer update about my experience with her. Which.. I did. Amanda was not satisfied with what I wrote because I refuse to add false information and did not send me the refund. Utterly a disappointing experience. As a professional you need to be comfortable admitting your mistakes and fixing them. It happens, you are human at the end of the day but the way Amanda continue to handle the situation after and try to put all the fault on me, THE BRIDE, just affirms my experience. Proceed with caution.

I had no real idea of what I wanted when I walked in, but Amanda is amazing and put together amazing displays and bouquets!! Whatever your vision is she'll make it happen! Everyone loved our centerpieces and decor, I can't thank her enough!!

Amanda was amazing to work with! Knowing very little about flowers she asked about my wedding theme and colors and suggested what she thought would be best. Everything she picked out was incredible. She put together example bouquets right in front of my eyes and each was even more beautiful then the next. On the day of my wedding the flowers arrived early, everything was set up just as we talked about, and the center pieces at the reception were stunning! Village Florist was the best decision I coul dhave made for flowers for my wedding!

We used Lake Grove Village Florist for our wedding, and they were the absolute best! Amanda is so easy to work with, and accommodating to all requests. She's very transparent, and will let you know if there is a more affordable option of flower style to the one you choose! All of her arrangements and bouquets were beautiful. For our wedding we ordered centerpieces, bouquets, and boutonnieres from Village Florist in Lake Grove. Amanda worked closely with me to make all of our flower choices perfect and unique. She is incredibly kind and professional and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend hiring Village Florist for your special event.

Amanda did a phenomenal job with our flowers! They were perfect and exactly what we wanted for our special day. We showed her a few pictures and she knew exactly where to go from there. Amanda is amazing. Throughout our entire wedding process, she was there to help, offer ideas, and even help with our overall color scheme and theme. She is super creative, having taking images from my wife's Pinterest account and making them in real life while adding a personal touches to it all. Amanda and her team crafted our incredible centerpieces, which were the talk of the town amongst our guests, perfectly and exactly what my wife envisioned. Not to mention that after taking them home they lasted for weeks. Amanda went above and beyond anything we could have asked for. We will continue to use Lake Grove Village Florists for all of our flower needs! They're the BEST!

Working with Amanda was easy and the flowers were STUNNING! My maid of honor works for a florist in Florida and even she raved about my bouquet and cake flowers. I asked for my late Father's shoe laces to be used on my bouquet and the way Amanda tied them was so beautiful it made them so much more special!

Lake Grove Village Florist was awesome to work. I absolutely loved my flowers, and felt like my style was totally understood! I decided what colors I wanted and let Amanda pick what flowers were in season that would best fit my vision and the result was beyond my expectation!
