The NEW owner Natasha was the biggest help. She made everything less nerve racking helping design the centerpieces keeping our ideas in mind! She was great at communicating and answering questions no matter the time! It’s a beautiful place with literally some of the BEST southern food for your wedding! Every single one of my guest had complements about how delicious everything was! Thank y’all for a memorable night that Us and our guest will never forget!
My husband and I had a great time using the Vintage Court for our wedding. We always received quick responses to any questions we had. Every meeting we had was informative and anything we needed was accommodated. After the wedding we received so many compliments for how beautiful the venue was.
The BEST ever doesn’t even come close to describing how perfect our night was. Brittany handled everything so smoothly! If something on our end was forgotten or didn’t work she would quickly and without anyone noticing fix it. The venue is gorgeous!! I honestly barely bought decorations because the place really did decorate itself. The food was amazing and the DJ was on point!! Our dance floor was never empty and I’m not lying when I say even our most Baptist guests who don’t dance were out there dancing. I truly could not have asked for anything better! Brittany, the owners and all the staff at vintage court a huge thank you to all the time and work you put into our wedding!!
we booked my daughter's wedding at Vintage Court and it was held there on 11/6/21. It was absolutely perfect and we could not have asked for it to go any smoother. Brittany and Julie coordinated things beautifully and on point and we could not be more pleased. We received many compliments on the food, service and overall ceremony and reception. it was everything my daughter wanted it to be and we have no complaints whatsoever. I would highly recommend this venue.
I stood as a bridesmaid in a wedding at the venue this weekend and would not recommend it to anyone. I could go on and on about reasons to stay away but I think this will sum it up- they handed the bride’s mother a bill IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WEDDING for “extra” heads counted at the reception. DURING THE ACTUAL WEDDING! Needless to say the poor mother of bride’s night was practically ruined. If you want to charge per extra person that is understandable but to hand her a bill in the middle of the wedding? Unacceptable. When staff was questioned their response was “it needed to be taken care of today, before the next event.”…… as if a family who has just spend quite the pretty penny to throw a 150 + person wedding at this venue, pretty sure they are good for it. And most importantly- let the family enjoy the time that they paid for!!!! It left such a bad taste in my mouth. I advise you to stay away from this venue.
I don’t normally write reviews but the way we were treated on our wedding day was just absolutely unbelievable. Would not recommend this vendor to anyone.
I searched far and wide for venues in Louisiana both online and in person. It wasn't until we pulled onto the grounds of Vintage Court that I finally had the "this is it" feeling. The outdoor areas and the building itself are absolutely beautiful. Julie and Brittny went above and beyond for us. They were always courteous and timely. The price couldn't be beat either - it was beyond reasonable and included the food, the DJ, and an open bar. They were hands down the best value and had the prettiest venue when compared to all of the others I checked out. The food was absolutely amazing and their DJ was excellent. I didn't have enough music picked out to fill the time and he kept things going like a pro. Every guest commented on how good the food was and how gorgeous the venue was. Brittny was my coordinator the day of the wedding and she was superb. I couldn't be happier with the service we received.
I have been fortunate to have attended multiple events held at Vintage Court. Recently I attended an event there and can not say enough wonderful things about this location. The staff is professional and attentative, and make sure that every detail is handled. The food is incredibly delicious, and the location itself is absolutely beautiful. I would highly recommend Vintage Court if you are looking for a venue for your event.
I attended a wedding there in November and they did an amazing job. Everything was great. The service was top of the line. The Food was delicious. All around the best venue I’ve been to. I definitely recommend them to future couples looking to get married.
If I could change one thing about my wedding day, it would be my choice to get married and have my reception at this venue. I was married on 10/26 at Vintage Court. The night prior to our wedding Tropical Storm Olga came through, causing a widespread power outage throughout Louisiana. The following day (our wedding day) we were not notified until mid-day (solely because my husband emailed and called them, not because they reached out to us) that Vintage Court did not have power and were asked if we wished to still have our wedding. Mind you, I was already in my wedding dress, hair and makeup done & my photographer and videographer were on site at the residence we were getting ready at. We obviously could not cancel our wedding at this point and decided to have our wedding regardless of the lack of communication and backup plan the venue had (or didn’t have). We arrived at vintage court prior to our ceremony to take pictures and were told that none of the bathrooms were working and signs were posted that said, “do not use.” Our guests began to show up and we proceeded with our ceremony that led into our reception. Guests were told they could not use the restrooms due to the power outage and vintage court did not have port-a-potty’s. Many male guests began to use the restroom outside and were told they could not relieve themselves outside. I am extremely disappointed by Vintage Courts lack of a back up plan and in professionalism they displayed the day of my wedding. Our menu was also altered due to the power outage and only the DJ was powered by the one generator they rented.
When confronted about the situation, the owner was extremely rude, unprofessional and had the nerve to threaten us with paying an additional cost for the generator(s) they rented.
I have many many friends that got married the same day and every other venue had backup generators with a plan for situations such as this. I understand natural disasters occur, but the lack of empathy, respect and ugliness the owner displayed after our wedding towards us was disgusting. My husband called to simply discuss all the occurred on our wedding day and he was not only cursed out by the owner, threatened to be taken to court for additional costs, but also hung up on. We never even received a simple apology and were told they couldn’t believe “we had the audacity to call them.”
I wish I never would have given this venue our business and would advise every bride to avoid this venue at all cost.
I stood in a wedding on 10/26. The venue did not have power or access to generators. The bride and groom were not notified until a few hours prior to the wedding of the conditions. Upon arrival to the venue, there were no lights, limited cooked food, and signs on the bathroom doors, "do not use". Guest could not see, no air condition, utilize the bathroom, or wash there hands in the middle of flu season!
Upon confronting vintage court about the manner things were held and addressed they stated, "We should charge you extra if anything for all the stress we had, F*** YOU!"
This was not held in professional manner. This venue has been in business for 25 years and should be equipped with generators for emergency disasters.
Just had my wedding here this weekend. It was beyond GORGEOUS. Julie was amazing and made sure to make every wish of ours come true. She was extremely attentive and wonderful to work with. The scenery was beautiful and you can’t beat the patio area
Vintage Court is almost-all-inclusive, they do all set-up, catering, alcohol, the DJ, tips included, etc. The only things I brought in were the cake, flowers, photographer and officiant. It looks like other venues are much more reasonable, but when you factor in what’s included, this is one of the least expensive venues int he area and, I promise you, no one would ever guess that.
We had our wedding at Vintage Court in April 2018 and it was absolutely amazing. The guests could not stop raving about how beautiful the venue was and even how good the food was; many commented it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding.
Julie, Jen and Kathryn were all incredibly responsive and easy to work with during the planning process. I began the planning process while in a different state and they would send photos and even videos of stuff for me to look at. They also sent me a list of recommended vendors that they work with, which really helped me cut through the clutter of vendors. Arthur, the DJ, was wonderful, really working with us on our favorite songs and even helping me orchestrate a surprise dance-off. And the bartender kept magically filling my glass of sparkling wine without me even seeing her do it!
My only complaint (and it’s minor) is that they are super-strict on how much time you can be at the venue, leaving us not much time for photos before and a shorter reception than we would have liked.
Overall, I would highly recommend this venue to anyone who is planning a wedding or a special event.
The most perfect wedding venue for ceremony and reception. Everyone there has been doing this for years, so they know everything. Everything is included in your price except for the cake and photographer so that means you get your bar, food , lighting, decorations , table settings, linnens , and dj all included . This is the perfect one stop shop and the most beautiful grounds I truely oils not have asked for a better wedding!
I had my ceremony and reception at Vintage Court. It was absolutely perfect! The entire team was so helpful and so on top of everything! I met primarily with Jen, who is so nice and accommodating. I also met with Katherine and Julie at different points leading up to the wedding. They were happy to do whatever I wanted to make my wedding exactly what I had pictured. Vintage Court is so beautiful! It was the perfect backdrop for my classic, elegant, southern wedding! The grounds are so beautiful! We had the ceremony under the 300-year-old oak tree. My reception of about 70 people was in the Renaissance room. Everyone raved about the delicious food and the open bar, which was a great price! They were very organized and so helpful on the wedding day. Jen coordinated everything and kept everything moving through the ceremony to the pictures to the recpetion, cake cutting, cake pulls, garter toss, bouquet toss, ribbon wand exit, etc.
They answered all of my questions, anything that I could think of throughout the planning process and on the day of. I am so thrilled with my experience. By far the most beautiful venue on the northshore and a very affordable price! My parents paid for the entire wedding and were definitely on a budget! Thank you to everyone at Vintage Court for your help and your kindness!
Great venue! Staff was excellent! Took care of my husband and I throughout our wedding process! Outside wedding was perfect!
I had my wedding here and it couldn't have been more perfect! Julie and Jenn did a great job! They made sure everything went exactly the way I wanted. I work full time and didn't have time to work out details but they took over and did all the coordinating! I just told them what I wanted and they made it happen. They made things much less hectic for me. Amazing to work with. Pictures don't do this place justice, it is a gorgeous venue. Everyone commented that it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to. The food was delicious and everyone agreed. I couldn't have been happier. I had the most magical night ever. It went off without a hitch! I'm so glad I had my wedding here! Thank you Julie and Jenn!
I loved everything about Vintage Court! We used the smaller room, which gives you access to the beautiful courtyard with the oak tree! It is so pretty! They were so accommodating with all of my requests, and they kept a drink in my and my husband's hand all night! I would recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding or reception venue in the Covington, LA area!
They forgot to turn on the chandelier on. In our meeting 2 weeks before I made it well known that I wanted them to be sure every bulb worked because I didn't want any burnt out bulbs...Seriously, how do professionals manage to not only not turn it on but not even realize it until I told them after the ceremony was over. It negatively affected my video and my pictures. It was incredibly dark under the unlit chandelier. Then they made my parents write a check for extra people. The place is beautiful and the food was great. The DJ was WONDERFUL, seriously, he saved the night. He had us on the dance floor the entire time! He played what our guests and we wanted to hear. If you have chosen or choose VC, just make sure the dang chandelier is turned on, there are no re-do's, no going back to those moments. I am still very upset.
This place is amazing from the coordinator, the staff, the venue, everything about it was absolutely fantastic! People came up to me during the reception to let me know how amazing the service and venue was. I highly recommend Vintage Court they make sure your day is perfect and will treat you like a true princess!!
Julie the owner and Kathy are wonderful. They know exactly what a bride needs and what goes on at a wedding. As a 1st time bride I did not have a coordinator, parents paying for my wedding and absolutely no idea of what went into a wedding. They took care of everything. I knew I wanted a completely southern beautiful outdoors ceremony and they made sure I got it. My guest loved the DJ, the food, and pretty much the entire venue. This place is beautiful. The owners and employees are wonderful. Thank you Vintage Court my dream wedding was perfect.
I had the most beautiful wedding i could have ever asked for. The staff was great and i had absolutely no complaints. They have recently renovated the outside ceremony area it was PERFECT!
Vintage Court is a beautiful setting for a wedding. I fell in love with the place the first time I visited. My wedding was everything I dreamed it would be. The staff is very professional, friendly, and very helpful. I wouldn't change anything about having my wedding here.
I booked the venue in 2013 and the place was already beautiful. But they added upgrades to make it more special! They bought a white chandelier for the oak tree and LED lighting inside the venue. Julie was very nice and helpful and I did contact her a lot regarding some things for the wedding. We were allowed to add a long sash on the oak tree which framed the chandelier and gave it a fairy tale vibe. They took some centerpieces from inside the venue and put it along the aisle- just like I wanted. Everything was perfect. They were asking my family, husband, and I if we needed anything throughout the night. There was only one issue, and the DJ didn't play the song my husband wanted for the garter toss. He said he had that song a day before the wedding so not sure what happened- but it wasn't a big deal to me. The food was good but you couldn't taste it before booking (venues are doing that now but I had people that went there for different events). All of my guests had a great time and said the wedding was gorgeous. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone- you even get discounts if you have it on a Friday or Sunday. It can't get any better than that!
I had been a bridesmaid in two weddings at Vintage Court in the past and was excited to have my wedding there as well. I wanted a venue that was more than just one room and everyone commented on how much they enjoyed being able to walk around the beautiful grounds and sit on the patio outside with us. The venue can hold a large crowd however the way it is set up allows for your guests to easily mix and mingle with everyone making it feel more intimate and personal. The food was very good and there was such a variety allowing something for everyone's individual taste. Shannon and crew are great; they manage everything so well and created an environment where I had no stress that day. They think of everything from making time for the bride and groom to sneak away for a few minutes in order to eat to very nicely managing the time and flow of the event. My niece (flower girl) forgot the rose petals so Shannon went out back and picked some from a rose bush they have and put them in her basket so she would have some to drop as she waked down the aisle. It was the little touches like this that made me feel completely taken care of the entire time and I really had fun at my wedding. I would highly recommend Vintage Court.
Vintage Court far exceeded my expectations. The grounds are absolutely beautiful (we were married under the 100+ year old oak tree). The personnel that work there are some of the friendliest I have ever come into contact with. Shannon is absolutely amazing at her job. I couldn't imagine anyone that could compare. We also used the in-house DJ, who was great. The only thing that I was slightly concerned about before the wedding was the food. We were unable to taste the items that we ordered. But we were definitely not disappointed in any way. The food, atmosphere, and personnel were the absolute best EVER. I would HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend this venue to anyone and would definitely use them again in a heartbeat.
The venue itself is beautiful. The staff was extremely helpful, and the day of coordinator was a lifesaver. Everything flowed perfectly, vintage court is amazing! And everyone loved the food! They even suggested other vendors(like the photo booth, officiant, and dj) and we took they're advice and the vendors were great!
Shannon was such a great person to work with. They really know what they’re doing over there – such a well-oiled machine! I had been to a wedding there a few years ago and the space is just beautiful. There isn’t a need for crazy décor b/c it’s already beautiful on its own and the outdoor space is just breathtaking. And they were offering a special when we booked for $5 off per person - can’t beat that! Plus they could accommodate our 1pm afternoon wedding. We stopped by on the Thursday before our wedding to drop off the guest book, table overlays (you can rent them thru them but they’re cheaper online to just buy outright), etc… Since we weren’t doing a formal rehearsal, she just did a quick run through with my husband and me. She took lots of notes, made a chart with who’s walking who to their seats, bridesmaid and groomsmen lineup, reviewed the ceremony music with us, etc… Everything went off without a hitch on our wedding day. It was absolutely perfect, perfect, perfect. The weather was 75 and sunny that day so the ceremony outdoors in front of the grotto was beautiful. There was a little traffic noise from Hwy 25 (that can’t be avoided unfortunately) but there was a sound system set up for the officiate and everyone was able to hear just fine. One minor thing was that I had dropped off rose petals on Thursday to line the aisle and they said they’d set them up for me Saturday morning. I wasn’t able to check everything out before the wedding as my groom was roaming around. It actually took me a few days after the wedding to realize they hadn’t lined the aisles but it really wasn’t a big deal as the grounds were so beautiful on their own. Plus I was a little worried the color of the petals and the color of the roses in the bouquets wouldn’t match so it’s just as well. The food was delicious (they made plates for us and we snuck off to the dressing room to eat and were able to just enjoy being married for a few minutes!) and there was more than enough of it. They were able to start passing the hors d’oeuvres while we were taking bridal party and family pictures after the ceremony so that people weren’t standing around hungry. There were two bars open, which was perfect for the 165 people we had. And their in-house DJ was great!
Everyone there was so helpful. My house was distroyed by a hurricane 3 weeks before the wedding. She made everything as easy as possible for me. Vintage court is beautiful. I would recommend this place to everyone for any occasion.
Overall my wedding was a hit! The ceremony under the oak tree was beautiful & the reception was fun! The food was great & the drinks flowed all night! The staff was professional & helpful. We used the in house DJ & he was awesome! Everyone danced, including my grandfather & 93 yr old great grandma!
I have a few complaints though:
I was told that I could give them my decorations for the aisle & that they would set it up. However, when we arrived my bridesmaids noticed that it was not done & had to do it themselves. Luckily I didn't notice or I would have been upset.
Also, my family & the bridal party took pictures after the ceremony & we missed the passed plates. This was okay for me & my husband because we snuck off to eat alone after the ceremony however my family & bridal party did not get any of the passed plates.
Even though we ate for 5 minutes alone before joining the reception it would have been nice to have been offered more food throughout the night. We were only offered drinks & did not have time to worry about food so we went without.
Other than that, it was a great place to have our wedding & we wouldn't have rathered any place else!! The greenery is picturesque and the space was perfect for us!
I can't say enough good things about Vintage Court. Julie and Shannon are wonderful to work with. I'm a micro-manager but they still went above and beyond, laughing with me about my hands-on attitude. I cannot thank them enough for such a wonderful day...food was awesome...setting was beautiful...price was just right... THANK YOU for making my dream wedding come true!
I can't say enough about the people at the vintage court or their beautiful place!! The food was great, and they coordinator that helps you the day of was very attentive and helpful. She made sure we got food and that our drinks were always full. And she made the ceremony and reception run so smooth!! And everything looked BEAUTIFUL!! It was perfect!! I honestly dont have one negative thing to say about their services or the venue!!! And it was actually a bit cheaper than others I looked at!
Value Service Quality
The staff was very helpful in every aspect of the wedding and wedding planning...everything from the ceremony rehearsal to packing our vehicle after the reception.
