Events director, Nicole Hillman is on hand to help you have the rooftop wedding you've envisioned at Vintage Modern Fusion & Rooftop Ceremonies. She pays close attention to every detail, no matter how small, as she understands how important they all are. You can call on her for assistance with event design and the timing of your celebration, too. With her expert guidance, you can make your dream wedding a reality.
Before making your way to the rooftop, you can prepare for the day ahead in the venue's get-ready suite, which has space for both you and your party. On the roof, you can exchange vows in front of 450 guests, allowing plenty of space for all of your nearest and dearest to witness your joy. Ceremonies can be held here at various stages throughout the day, allowing you to get married as the sun sets or beneath the stars for an unforgettable evening. There are various wedding packages that you can choose from, which can include the use of one of the venue's reception spaces to continue the celebrations.

I can't begin to explain how wonderful our experience was with A'BULAE. Everyone we worked with was so accommodating. Our day was perfect and went so smoothly all thanks to A'BULAE. There were so many rave reviews from our guests on how beautiful our venue was. We can't thank A'BULAE enough.
We had our wedding at A'BULAE a couple weeks ago. Honestly I am so glad I chose A'BULAE and would recommend this venue 100x over. Everything was exactly how I pictured. It was a wonderful experience. Everyone was professional, prompt and on point throughout the entirety of the day. The venue was immaculate, everyone complimented us on what a beautiful venue it was and how gorgeous the rooftop ceremony was. It was great to have an experienced staff who knew exactly what to do, when, and how to properly execute it. Made it such an enjoyable experience!!
A’BULAE was great to work with. The moment we were done with our venue tour… we knew we couldn’t look anywhere else. While they could be considered on the more spendy end… their organization, staffing, and beautiful space is well worth the cost. We planned our wedding in just under 8 months (from booking our venue/date and the wedding day itself)… and I truly believe that this was only possible because of how wonderful A’BULAE is at making sure you are on track for success in every way. Karen, the coordinator, is newer to the facility but not the industry. Their original coordinator retired and Karen met us sort of between booking the space and our date… she was very accommodating in letting us use the space the day before to get things dropped off and centerpiece flowers assembled. She was very prompt at responding to emails and gave thoughtful, well-answered responses to any questions we had. There is a parking garage underneath the venue for guests that has a flat, reasonable rate. You have the option of an indoor ceremony or outside on their beautiful rooftop (with great views of St. Paul/the Capitol) and can decide up until that morning which route you’re going to take. We, as well as the guests, loved the space because the cocktail hour area, dance floor, and reception area are all very large and nothing in the space needs to be moved throughout the night to allow for more room. It is very spacious and does not feel at all crowded. In addition to those areas, the venue also has a groom’s room, game room, floral prep area, and beautiful bridal suite. Overall, the space is absolutely gorgeous/exceptional… and we couldn’t have imagined having our day anywhere else.
Karen (site director) was more than we could have imagined. We always left her feeling way more comfortable with everything. Her pass off to Liz the day of went smoothly because she had already built that trust that she had our best interests in mind.
THANK YOU for allowing us to have our pug puppy be a part of our day. We very much think of her as part of the family, so it was such a nice touch!
Honestly, all I wanted was to tour the place, the photos looked great and the reviews were good, so we sent them an email. When we heard back they fought us every step of the way it took three days to convince them to set up a tour. We hadn’t really set a budget yet, we didn’t want to go over $16,000 for the whole wedding but were willing to stretch that for the perfect venue. This place wouldn’t even let us look at them because they said they were too expensive for us. When we finally convinced them to set up a tour they emailed us and said “ We want to be respectful of your time, and our venue will be over $16,000 for your date” yes, we were aware of that but we wanted to keep an mind... we had already told them we didn’t want a venue that plays games with us, and this one definitely would have done so. If you want a stress free wedding, we suggest staying away, because just emailing them for two days gave me anxiety.

Words cannot express how impressed I was with A'bulae. The day went flawless and I could of not asked for a better day. I visited almost 10+ other venues and I kept coming back to this one because the venue is breathtaking. High-ceilings, large windows, gorgeous bridal suite, big dance floor, great rooftop- the event has everything you need for a wedding. The team at A'bulae was fantastic and all my guests cannot stop complimenting how great the venue was. When you arrive for the tour you leave knowing everything that you need to know. They give you all the pricing upfront so there are no hidden fees. We didn't use them but they also include in-house services like photography, DJ and videographer so that you don't need to do a lot of research. Everything was executed perfectly and I am so happy that I choose them for my wedding. Of course, Nancy and Jenna did a fantastic job as well. I didn't need to interact with them often because I had a wedding planner who did most of the communication to them but when I did have questions they were quick in responding and I had confidence that the day would go well. Be aware this venue is a little pricey! They do price gouge you on a couple of items -if you don't use their DJs it's a $300 fee to use someone else and an additional fee to use the space for the ceremony- not included in the room rental price. But during the tour they give you all of these prices up front so there are no surprises. Overall, I was super happy with them and so happy I chose A'bulae for my wedding.
Could not say enough about how GREAT everyone we worked with here was! They made our BIG DAY an absolute DREAM!!!!
Not up to expectations:Part TWO

Even though we were going downhill quickly, there was a glimmer of hope. Upon setting the cupcakes out, Mintahoe dropped them on the floor. They quickly took responsibility and found the bakery I had ordered through did not have any spare cupcakes so they called their cake vendor- Buttercream Collections- to save the day. Due to the quick thinking on their part, our guests were able to enjoy some amazing and delicious cupcakes. It was a seamless transition and a great save on their part. We got a ton of compliments on the cupcakes too.
But, we still ended up on rock bottom. After we were "announced" to our guests, we sat for the welcomes toasts. I noticed that we didn't have any wine to toast with so asked the waiter for some glasses of wine. We were told "No, I'm sorry, the bar is closed. You'll have to wait." So, the entire head table had to toast with water goblets as the waitstaff refused to bring us anything to toast with.
To top it off, the venue didn't even place our toasting flutes at the table for us. Sadly, we didn't notice this until 1am when my mother had to help the staff search the venue for these toasting flutes as they were taken out of our set up items and placed into a different room entirely.
Being we've both worked in the industry before, we know mistakes happen so reached out to the venue for feedback on why things went the way they did. We received an email stating they'd be in touch with us in a few days. Its now been over 2 weeks and we've only gotten an email from Bellegala saying their DJ from the evening was one of their best.
I very much understand that things get missed, but the items that were missed are unacceptable; the mess with the technology, being told we can't have drinks for toasting, the huge miss of toasting flutes, not fully serving the head table before guest tables and our first dance being cut off by their in house DJ makes A'bulae, Minathoe and Bellegala look unprofessional and disorganized.
Everything up to the day was great, but A'bulae, Mintahoe and Bellegala really dropped the ball on the day of our wedding. It is very sad to us that we spent 10k for A'bulae- a "one stop shop" type venue created just for weddings- as we not only got the short end of the stick from inattentive "professionals", but truly feel the amount of money we spent was not representative of the service we received. Overall, the expectations (and advertised material) that come with a the room fee are not met at this venue and its truly a huge disappointment to see them not take responsibility for their mistakes.
There are many pros + cons with A'Bulae. Nancy is a dream and is the best at what she does! Her organization + attention to detail made working with her a breeze. And while they advertise to be an all-in-one type venue, there are additional costs associated with nearly everything. The day of venue coordinator (unfortunately not Nancy) did not appear informed on any info of our wedding. She told multiple people the wrong time for the ceremony and dinner and was a bit disorganized during the walk-through. In addition to this, the on-site sound + digital crew made several mistakes through out our night even after we filled out the detailed paperwork AND had a conference call with them. When we addressed our disappointments, Shane (digital coordinator) made several disappointing excuses and then just stopped responding to my emails (maybe because they were already paid?). A'bulae requires you to work with Mintahoe for catering services and that was also a subpar experience. It would take prolonged periods of times to get responses from people there and at the end of the night they ended up giving our unclaimed dinners to their staff without telling us. All in all, I'd recommend anyone going with A'bulae to be over communicative with the staff there in order to make sure things are executed properly because unfortunately the hefty rental fee does not equate to excellence in service.
A'BULAE was such a perfect venue for us! They really helped us have the exact kind of wedding day we wanted - seamless, classy without being fussy, simple, and effortless fun for guests. We loved the bridal suite and groom's suite (and game room!), and the rooftop was the perfect space to enjoy a gorgeous summer evening. We did our ceremony inside so we didn't have to stress about weather at all - the ceremony set up was gorgeous, then guests loved being able to go up to the rooftop during the reception if they so desired! The entire day flowed so seamlessly - first look and photos into ceremony into cocktail hour into dinner into dancing... it was just so easy! The venue was beautiful and fitting for all parts of the day (and we brought in zero extra decorations), and the lighting fit the space perfectly (thanks, Shane!)
Of course, no review would be complete without mentioning Jenna and Nancy. These two were SO great - it felt like we had hired wedding planners! They kept everything on track during the planning process and in the months leading up to the wedding. At the start, Jenna gave amazing recommendations for other vendors outside of A'BULAE - beauty, invitations, even name-changing! They were both so organized and helpful in responding to any question we had, without making us feel silly for asking. They calmed any nerves or questions, and they gave great advice to help us make it a very special day! A'BULAE was truly one of the best vendor choices we made!
A'BULAE was an incredible wedding venue; we really couldn't have asked for anything better. The staff kept the day stress-free, and were extremely helpful when any issues arose. I would highly recommend A'BULAE as a venue, both due to how beautiful and unique it is, but also due to the amazing staff. Couldn't say enough good things about it!
A'BULAE is amazing! We had so much positive feedback from our wedding guests. The staff at A'BULAE are amazing and made the entire experience so enjoyable. They handled every details so that the wedding party (including my husband and I) were able to relax and really enjoy the day. I would recommend them to anyone!
A'Bulae. --An over and above experience from start to finish. The entire crew was supremely easy to work with. Our planning was from a distance and they did everything possible to make this a seamless experience for us. We are detail people and felt that their team was on the same page every step of the way. The venue is unique with the wow factor that we were seeking. Our guests are still commenting that the wedding and reception were the nicest they have ever attended. -- Down to a seasoned wedding planner who was in attendance. A'Bulae was perfect. We would not hesitate to return. We highly recommend this venue.
A'bulae was the perfect place for our October wedding! The venue is beautiful and you don't need a ton of decorations to make the space wedding perfect. The staff is so helpful and pushed emails to me anytime something was due in the timeline helping to keep me on track and very close to stress-free! I would highly recommend A'bulae for your upcoming wedding!
Okay honestly, we had the most AMAZING experience working with A'bulae! From the minute we walked into the doors for our first tour, to the very last minute on our wedding day, everything was PERFECT! We can not be more grateful towards A'bulae and their entire team for making our day so memorable and amazing! I would highly recommend them to anyone out there looking to get married! Absolutely tremendous experience!
AMAZING! We had the best experience working with Nancy and her team at A'BULAE. Unlike most brides, I did not want to have the 2-year long engagement. Our engagement was 7 months long and A'BULAE was great at helping us plan and stay on track to make sure our day went off without a hitch! We truly had the most amazing experience and day. If the rooftop is available DEFINITELY take advantage of it! All of my guests loved it up there. PICK A'BULAE!

A'BULAE was everything we hoped for in a wedding venue! The moment we walked in the doors for our first tour I knew it was the venue I wanted to have my wedding. A'BULAE was the only venue we saw that had all of our wishlist items. They have a BEAUTIFUL bridal suite, grooms room, roof deck, large dance floor, spacious bar, floor to ceiling windows, in house catering, and a supportive staff. It's a gorgeous venue that doesn't require a lot of decor. The day was so special for us and we have no regrets. We wish we could have the wedding all over again. Thank you to Jenna and Nancy for making this experience unforgettable!
The tour itself was more professional and personal than other venues. You could tell Nancy appreciated the venue herself and took pride in A'BULAE. The responses from A'BULAE were quick and if someone didn't know the answer, they would find someone that did and either call back or put me on a brief hold. With everything going on and all of the things a couple has to think about when planning their wedding, I felt overwhelmed until I found that Nancy and Jenna could guide with such ease. The food was fabulous. We heard from many of our guests that it was the best wedding food they have had. The staff was professional and brought the food in a timely manner. The bartenders were extremely busy but did their best to serve everyone. Event flow was flawless. The on-site coordinator was the best of the best. Thanks, Jenna! We had such a fabulous time. You did an amazing job of assuring the day went without a glitch. The amount of compliments we received on how well organized the wedding was by you is crazy. We really REALLY appreciate your help and would definitely recommended A'BULAE to any couple looking for a venue. We would also like to make a special note about the bartender, Charlie. There was a little miscommunication but he went above and beyond to sort it out and was extremely professional and really stood out as a valuable employee. Please pass our appreciation on to him (or Denise). We couldn't be more satisfied with how the day turned out and we have you, bellagala and the mintahoe staff to thank for that. Pictures to come :)
Jenna was in contact almost immediately. She gave us the run down on dates, pricing and what was included. It was really nice to have an "all inclusive" package. The communication was great. A'BULAE, Jenna and Nancy were all so inviting. The space is so beautiful and lush. The space and people involved make you feel special. I really liked the "all-inclusive" package aspect. It was easy to see cost. At some of the other venues we looked at, it was difficult to get a good idea of how much it was going to cost (after lighting, dance floor, etc) were all added in. The main thing that was different was the "first right of refusal" thing. Most of the other venues we'd looked at had that as an option: A'BULAE did not. (In the end, that worked out for us too!) It {Bellagala} was kind of like having a wedding planner (without hiring one!). It would have been easy to access everything all under one roof. Jenna and Nancy were FANTASTIC!!!! They were hyper-responsive to all of our email questions. They were great about letting us bring in a few people who needed to see the space in order to plan for videotaping, etc. They know the space and what works well. They can explain things well and give lots of good advice. I was glad we had an impromptu meeting with Nancy a few months prior to our wedding. She gave us a lot of good things to think about (such as sender/receiver for flower girl/ring bearer) and the all important form to plan who was walking with who, timing, songs being played when/etc. It was SO HELPFUL in planning. Nancy also gave us a great idea during that meeting. She said she likes it when the bride and groom take a few minutes in the bridal suite alone just after getting married to take it all it. We did that on our wedding day: it was a really special moment for us. The venue looked beautiful. The iConcierge was fun for people to use. People enjoyed the Padzila. The screens and timing on the slideshows/messages was perfect! The Gobo light phrase was perfect. The seating/table assignments worked slick. Photomingle was fun: I think a lot of people missed that you could write on the screen AND that the photos could be printed out. Shane did a beautiful job with our event: we felt very cared for. Everyone was very professional, helpful and polite. I really appreciate Jenna's help with the decision to have the wedding inside. She pointed out a lot of important things (like guest comfort) that I hadn't been as focused on. She was of great help during the day. She helped me to settle a few details like reserved seats. I was really glad that she grabbed the bridal party for a mini-rehearsal. I know it eased the stress of a few of the bridal party. Jenna did a great job at setting us up for our entrance cues. She also grabbed us a drink while we enjoyed our first few private moment married! It was a joy to work with Jenna on the day of our wedding. It felt very "full circle". She was our first contact at A'BULAE and had given us our first tour. It just felt right to have her around during the day. She was SO HELPFUL!!! I just wanted to say a sincere thank you to the entire A'BULAE team. You all were so helpful and sincere. Your hard work made our day so easy and seamless. I felt like family. I have never been one of those girls who dreamed of what my wedding would be like...but you all managed to give me my dream wedding!
A'BULAE was very responsive. I remember using the online quote tool and being pleasantly surprised at how quickly pricing information, date availability, etc. was communicated. After seeing online photos and information, I knew A'BULAE was the only venue I wanted. We put a deposit down the day we toured, so truly, it was our first choice and only choice! We were extremely pleased with each Bellagala vendor we worked with (DJ, Photography, Video, Floral, Live Music - Pianist). Prices were competitive and it took so much legwork out of researching and booking all these services separately ourselves. I was so pleased with the frequency of meetings and communication - enough that we didn't feel lost and on our own, but not so much that it was a burden to respond or that we were pushed into decisions we were't yet prepared to make. Our questions were always answered timely and it was clear that everyone involved truly cared that we were doing okay and having a positive experience. I had several guests tell me that it took them halfway through dinner to realize that they were sitting in the same spot where the ceremony had been. The turnover was something I was a little nervous about (again, I don\'t know why, you guys do this all the time), but it was perfectly executed. Nothing but positive things to say about the space and staff - I'm still in awe each time I visit of what a well-oiled machine A'BULAE is.Thank you for making our experience such a positive, fun, relaxed one. We will never forget the process, the day, or the people who helped make it a reality.
MORE STRUCTURED AND ELEGANT THAN OTHER VENUES - Our initial meeting was very informative. We received information on the venue, Mintahoe and Bellagala. Every detail was explained, so there were no surprises throughout the planning process. A'Bulae was exceptional. Everything was more structured and elegant than other venues. We used Bellagala for our photographer, DJ and florist. The tasting was great. The food tasted the same on that night and our wedding night. It was very nice to see the venue set up with tables. Denise was very helpful in our details meeting and let us know what would be cost effective. Shane did a great job with our lighting colors, IConcierge screens, our monogram and slideshow. Nancy and Jenna were very easy to work with. They answered our questions in a timely manner and made the planning process easy. Everything was perfect. We have no complaints and are very happy that we picked A'Bulae.
A'BULAE helped us to create our perfect wedding day. From our initial tour and meeting we fell in love with A'BULAE. It was the most beautiful venue with the most helpful staff. Jenna was our first point of contact. She was so professional and upfront with us about estimated costs from the venue to the cost of food. Jenna is also a close personal friend of ours but I know she treats every couple who comes through A'BULAE this way. She is amazing! After working with Jenna we then worked with Nancy. Who was equally as helpful. They were both so responsive before we even booked the venue all the way up to our wedding day. We could not have asked for a better space, staff and experience for our wedding reception. The bridal suite was amazing to get ready in. The venue was beautiful for pictures before the reception and even more beautiful once our decor was added for the reception. The reception site did not need much for decorations because it was so beautiful on its own which ended up saving us some money. A'BULAE is more expensive than other venues but you get exactly what you pay for. We wouldn't do it any other way if we could do it all over again. We could not say enough nice things about the venue. For our 300 person guest list is was the perfect space and not over crowded at all. The way the venue was set up is perfect! We couldn't use the roof top because of the time of year we go married but we liked that all our guests were in one place for the reception. We had a live band and it was also a perfect set up for a band. There are some additional costs when you get married at A'BULAE but like I said above it is worth it. Because our day went perfect! Nancy was so helpful the weeks leading up the our wedding day. She contacted all of our vendors the week of and finalized details and gave them directions and instructions. This was so helpful for me. Our wedding day went off without a flaw or I at least didn't hear about it if something went wrong because they figured it out for me. Our day of coordinator Denise was also so great. She helped the day of go so smooth. No complaints here! Best venue!!!!
Our day was absolute elegant PERFECTION!! The venue is modern and chic, with a full floor to ceiling view of St Paul. This venue has thought of everything to make your day run smoothly; and the coordinators are truly there for you, from the first day you book to the day you get married! Our guests could not stop raving about the food, drinks, dj and beautiful spacious venue. I would LOVE to relive my wedding day at Abulae, and highly recommend it to any future bride!

This venue was amazing. Other than its beautiful decor, the staff were amazing from the servers to the security guards. The venue offers services such as photographers, DJs, flowers, etc. Having this available made our wedding planning very easy and carefree. Abulae was the perfect place to have a wedding and we would recommend this venue for any and all!

I fell in love with A'Bulae the moment I stepped through the doors! The open space with huge windows was exactly what I was looking for in a venue to hold my wedding reception. Making an appointment to go see the venue was so easy, and Jenna gave me a great, organized, non-rushed tour! All of the pricing and information on amenities included was given to me right after the tour. It was nice to know what all the costs where right up front and not be surprised by anything during the planning process. Jenna and Nancy did a great job answering all my questions that led to my decision to have my wedding at A'Bulae and during the entire planning process - they responded professionally and quickly, always within a day, to emails and phone calls.
Having Mintahoe as the on-site caterer made our dinner planning process with Denise go very smoothly. She constantly edited the quote she provided us with the many changes we made throughout the planning process, and always clearly answered the many questions I had. The tasting went really smoothly and the food was great! The staff is very professional.
Shane, the on-site digital coordinator was so easy to work with and always gave us great direction and advice on digital content we wanted to display during the wedding. The planning form was awesome - so easy to fill out and very organized! Shane did a great job taking our ideas and bringing them to life on the screens. I just had to tell him what color scheme I wanted, and he did the rest of the work. It turned out really nice and I loved it all.
Jenna and Nancy really went out of their way to ensure a smooth wedding day for us. Usually there is no parking attendant on site until an hour before the event, but all the staff was so accommodating to the wedding party and family arriving early, and had staff present to let people into the parking ramp over 4 hours prior to the wedding. This was super convenient, as there was a Saints baseball game that same day at the time of the wedding. I really appreciated the extra effort A'Bulae made to ensure everything went smoothly on the wedding day. They were all a pleasure to work with and I had the best time at my wedding! All my guests absolutely loved the venue and were very impressed by the professionalism of the staff and guards.
The title "best day ever" doesn't even say at all! The entire planning process from the moment we chose A'Bulae moving forward was an absolute breeze. They have thought of everything, and are willing to accommodate to make your dreams come true! Nancy, Jenna, and Shane are a power team and I will forever be grateful for their hard work in making our wedding amazing!
A'BULAE is absolutely amazing! This venue is definitely on the pricier side (especially for your Friday & Saturday weddings) but there are so many features and services included in your rental price (table clothes, beautiful chairs, bridal and grooms suites, event lighting, roof top patio, game room, etc.). A'BULAE offers one stop shopping and is SO worth the money, you definitely get what you pay for with this venue. Their staff is absolutely wonderful; they are so friendly and helpful every step of the way. We had so many compliments on our choice of venue and we would most definitely refer A'BULAE to others. They are partnered with Bellagala which allows you to bundle various wedding services. This is not mandatory but I found it to be super convenient which helped to ease some of the stress that comes with all of the planning. They also require you to use Mintahoe for catering which we didn't necessarily mind as their food was quite delicious and we received many compliments on that as well. A'BULAE is extremely technologically advanced and offers many modern options for weddings. Some of my favorite features from this venue include the bridal and grooms suites as well as the event lighting. This venue is seriously stunning and from the second we first saw it we knew we had found something special. If we had to do it all over again we would choose A'BULAE a thousand times over!

Our main contact, Nancy was so helpful! She took the time to show us the venue and went through the pricing for different weekends out of the year. We knew right away that A'BULAE would be the perfect venue for us because of the attention to detail. Able to accommodate a large number of people and the venue itself was gorgeous! I really liked that everything was included into one price since it would have been a headache to try to figure that all out at other venues. We went with the DJ through Bellegala (Mike V) and I'm glad we did. So many compliments on the DJ and he kept the party running smoothly once the A'BULAE EC left. Everyone was very attentive and quick to answer emails and questions. I had no concerns for the wedding leading up to it because they had everything under control. Everything was perfect the day of the wedding and a big part of that was because of Nancy, Jenna, and Denise. They made sure that I didn't have to think about too much the day of and it all ran like a well oiled machine. My guests were shocked at how amazing the venue itself was and how friendly the staff was. Even got a ton of compliments on the friendliness and professionalism of the security guards!
Something I struggled with: For many people, planning a wedding or major event is a once in a lifetime thing. I felt a little overwhelmed with the food/beverage choices and felt it could have been explained a little bit better. Not that I would have changed anything, but additional information would have been helpful. Also, a written down timeline of when the next meeting would occur would have been helpful for planning for that month.
I wouldn't have changed a thing about having A'BULAE as our venue and I was fairly stress free the day of mainly because of A'BULAE. So many of my guests are also going to mention what a wonderful venue it is.
We didn't have our wedding at A'bulae, but Jenna coordinated our wedding and she is absolutely AMAZING. We hired her for day of, but she met with us three different times just to make sure everything was going smoothly (even at last minute when I started to panic the week before the wedding!) She has a very calming quality about her, and despite being a crazed bride I left every meeting with her feeling so good and organized. Her attention to detail makes it so easy to feel carefree in the final planning stages and more importantly on your big day.
The day of my wedding was perfection - everything I dreamed of and more and Jenna was a very big part of that. She really listened to me and my ideas, what I wanted and didn't want, and I never had to worry about something getting done because she was always two steps ahead of everyone else. From her texts in the morning, to seeing her be the last person in the venue at the end of the night she made everything amazing and stress free. And with a wedding party of 16, she had her hands full but she did the best job corralling everyone and directing the show. I know I keep saying amazing, but that is what she is! So nice and personable and smart! You need Jenna in your life, I promise! Absolutely worth every single penny.
A'BULAE was a spectacular venue! From the wood beams to the chandeliers to the floor to ceiling windows. This venue was just what I had in mind for a dream wedding! The service through Bellagala was really great. I had awesome experiences with most of the vendors. The food was phenomenal through Mintahoe. I would recommend A'BULAE and most of Bellagala's services to all brides that want to feel like princesses on their wedding day!
This venue represented who we are as a couple, and we continue to talk about how flawless our wedding went every day since. The stunning bridal suite, chandeliers, wood accents, high-tech technology, rooftop views, dedicated staff, and massive dance floor truly made for the perfect day, and the perfect wedding. To top it off, being the first July 4th wedding at A’BULAE, our guests could see fireworks being shot off from 14 different surrounding locations which added not only excitement, but romance to the night. Thank you to the staff of A’BULAE, Mintahoe Catering, and Bellagala for being so engaged and enthusiastic on our big day, and for helping it run so smoothly. As a bride, I couldn't imagine a more seamless day.
A'Bulae was amazing! My husband and I decided to look online, found this, saw it the next day and booked the next. We literally fell in love and knew it all we wanted. Over the next 40 days, A'Bulae helped finalize every detail and made our dream wedding possible. Absolutely nothing went wrong and we were both stress free all day. Who could ask for anything more on such an important day?! Well, if you do, you'll get it. I cannot express how much MORE than just services they provide. The staff was amazing and thorough the entire time, and they really became important people to us! Mintahoe's catering was unbelievable. Neither my husband or I are "cake people" but we are now after we had our food tasting. Every guest at our wedding said it was the most beautiful and unique wedding they had ever been too! Trust me, this is where you want to get married - and if you agree, book fast or you may miss your chance!
A'Bulae is quite possibly one of the most beautiful places to get married that I have ever seen anywhere, but certainly is the best in the cities. About 10 months before my wedding day, I was still struggling to find the perfect venue and came to Bellagala in a panic to see if they could help. At this time, A'Bulae was under construction but was set to open a couple months before our wedding date. I was directed to talk to Nancy, the future A'Bulae Event Site Director, who gave me a tour of the space (which was just wooden pillars, dust, and construction equipment at the time, there weren't even walls). Even with that little amount to go on, Nancy did a fantastic job describing the place that would become A'Bulae and I decided to take a leap of faith and sign a contract before the space was even built, making us the first couple to be booked with A'Bulae! I would be lying if I said that A'Bulae met my expectations, it more than EXCEEDED them when everything was finally constructed. In addition to an absolutely beautiful building, I don't know what I would have done without Nancy, who was a HUGE support to me during the planning process. Nancy is someone who genuinely cares for her brides and wants to make their day as special as possible. She was the only wedding space coordinator I meet with who could envision the exact look that I was going for just by talking to me for a few minutes! Also, Nancy gave me fantastic recommendations for specific people to help with flowers, styling, DJing, etc. (If you can get Andrew as a DJ, DO IT!!) Every single person that I interacted with at A'Bulae was warm, caring and got to know me and my husband as a couple and not just as clients. On the big day, I felt like my friends were celebrating with me, not just my vendors! Nancy personally spent the afternoon drying off the rooftop after a morning rain so that we could continue to have our wedding on the roof. The rooftop space is unbelievably beautiful and the pictures I have from the wedding are so unique and different from other wedding photos that I have seen. I am always getting compliments on the beauty of the space when people see my wedding pictures. Another major benefit of A'Bulae is the bridal room and groom's room. I know that my husband and his groomsmen enjoyed watching TV and socializing in their own space. I LOVED MY SPACE!! The bridal room is more like a lounge, it's absolutely huge! The vanity seating gave me and my bridesmaids a beautiful and luxurious space to get ready, and it's perfect for on-site hair/makeup! A'Bulae also has a floral room, where we stored our bouquets and wedding flowers prior to the ceremony, and many digital decor services like Photomingle, Wedding Snap RT, and iConceirge. My guests enjoyed being able to be involved in our big day by sending photos they had taken to screens around the room to be displayed during the reception. Overall, this venue has EVERYTHING that you could want and need for your wedding. As soon as I found this place, my wedding planning stress became nonexistent, because they have everything in one place. Other places I looked at would've had to hire outside vendors at twice the price to do a job with half of the quality of any vendor at A'Bulae. This venue met all my needs: beautiful, unique decor (it really is one-of-a-kind), quality, luxury and sophistication, convenient access to everything you need, and great people to work with! I had no stress on my wedding day thanks to A'Bulae!
The most gorgeous wedding venue I have ever seen! The service was incredible, the views amazing....everything was flawless. St. Paul MN now has one of the best venues in the country and we were so lucky to be married there!!!
We had the honor of being the very first couple to get married and host a reception at A'Bulae and we couldn't have been more thrilled with the entire event! One of the biggest factors for us in choosing a venue was the ability to have a unique event that stood apart from all others. A'Bulae was the perfect place to do just that with all the technology that allows you to really customize your event. The space itself is GORGEOUS and is a great canvas for whatever your wedding vision is. It easily can accommodate a wide range of wedding styles and themes which I felt was definitely NOT the case at most other venues that seemed to lend themselves best towards a specific style. We had a fairly large wedding - close to 300 guests - and the space held that size group very well. There was plenty of room on the rooftop for everyone to sit during our ceremony and we had plenty of room to move between tables in the dining room. A really important feature to me was the layout of the space and the fact that the dancefloor and bar/lounge area were adjacent to each other. I didn't want our reception to feel disjointed with half the group in another room at the bar and the other half out on the dancefloor. At A'Bulae, the party is centralized. Another wonderful aspect of this venue is the bridal suite! In all the weddings I've been in, there hasn't been a single bridal suite that can compare to this well-appointed room. Don't underestimate the importance of a good bridal suite - a small, cluttered, poorly lit space can really make for a stressful morning and detract from the fun of the whole experience. I felt so pampered and at ease getting ready at A'Bulae. It is also important to note how great the staff is at A'Bulae. Nancy was so patient with us throughout the whole process and was a true delight to work with. I honestly can't say enough good things about this place and would highly encourage you to check it out for yourself. A'Bulae is amazing - there is so much more to see and experience in person than I can possibly speak to here.
A'bulae was absolutely amazing!! From the bridal suite, to the chandeliers, and rooftop deck, the place is awesome! It can be transformed to fit about any style that you are going for and really doesn't need much decorating.
Nancy, the coordinator, was so helpful every step of the way and I couldn't have asked for a nicer person to work with. Would highly recommend this space to anyone!
