I hate giving bad review especially for service providers. But this was for a once in a life time event, I had to say that I was really upset with the MC.
I used Randy for both photobooth and Dj MC for my wedding. On the day, the first thing I noticed was that the pb was not the one I requested. It s/b like a giant bubble room and you can go in and take pictures. I had never seen it although later on I found that on Groupon too even for a better price for the same time period. And the DJ MC service were added later on considering using the same vendor would be easier. Anyways.... Before the wedding, Randy asked me to send him the contract as his laptop got stolen. I know the type of pb was not specified on the contract so I guess he prob forgot it. So I just let it go and never brought it up.
However, when the wedding party introduction was about to start, the MC came to me and showed me his little piece of paper with all the names and itinerary handwritten on it and asked me if that't the order. I looked at it and freaked out. It was totally not in order. I got no time to argue so just told him and grabbed a pen started to reorganize it... Luckily, I remembered everything as I planned everything on my own. I actually literally used excel and wrote down the order and emailed Randy just in case... Okay, i thought that would be it, but it was just the beginning. The itinerary got messed up too. We had 4 speeches, I think it's a little too much to do all 4 together, so I spread them out through dinner time, and put some other performance in between. My husband started the opening speech, and then the dj started to call next speech and one another. He skipped my cousin's song, what was the worst was that my dad's speech put the last which should be after the song. It was such a disaster. Then I can see the MC started to panic. He started to come to check with me if such such is the next. Meanwhile, our guests were waiting and staring at us to see what's going on next. That was very embarrassing. The venue manager also came to me to check if everything's alright. Fortunately, our speakers just came on as he cued even though they were little confused by the disorder. hmmmm... speechless...Good thing that he tried to warm up the stage and cheered up our guests throughout the dancing time. The MC was probably new and young, not experienced with such a circumstance. I thought about it after, maybe I should have just let him run his itinerary, but who knows~ I never met him before the wedding because I had my first wedding 2 wks before oversee so I didn't have time. I went over everything with Randy and he's very responsive and made all the music I requested. So I put a lot of trust in him. Tips for future bride, meet all your vendors in person especially MC and run your itinerary a day before if possible!!! Couple days after the wedding, Randy sent me the pb pics. Can you believe it? Only 24 pictures! so I texted him:" just 24 picture?" He never respond.... I mean I know that the venue manager asked me if he could put the pb on pause and let the guests have dinner while it's warm, I agreed even though some guests were still waiting in the line trying to get a pic w us. but come on, isn't it MC's job to announce that the pb is reopened after dinner? So basically, I booked the pb for 3 hrs, but only used for half hour. I read all the reviews before I booked Randy, it was all pretty good. I was probably just the unlucky one.
We used Randy foe 2 fundraising galas for children with special needs. He donated his services and his wonderful photo booth. It was an amazing photo booth because it's rwally not a photo booth. So many people loved the fact you can take big group photos, there was so many different backgrounds to pick from with just a quick touch. The quality of the photos were amazing! Randy even provided props and a copy of all photos taken on a flash drive. I would highly recommend all of his services! !!
Randy and his team did an amazing job at my wedding. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a fun and affordable addition to the night. My guests were at the photo booth all night long and everyone raved about it. They loved being able to pick different locations and wear funny props. Randy was extremely accommodating and patient, even with the little kids that wanted to take tons of pictures. They promptly mailed us the UBS with all the pictures from the evening which was great. Thanks again for making our wedding so special!!
Big Photo Booths was wonderful! Randy helped us plan our daughters Sweet 16 party, Green SCREEN, Uplighting, Monogram lights!! Everything was wonderful, professionally done and reasonably priced! A+++++ service. Thank you Randy!
The photo booth and props at our wedding were a HUGE hit! Our guests LOVED the experience. Randy was very professional and attentive. He also provided us with a USB drive of all of our guests photos which will be fun to look at. I highly recommend booking the photo booth through Randy!!!
