We met with Brian and CJ while planning our November 2019 wedding at The Lodge Skaneateles. Brian is very knowledgable about what looks good and works at the Lodge, and he was also able to provide recommendations for other vendors to work with. CJ ended up being our MC/DJ for the actual event and he did a wonderful job. My family members were already dancing during cocktail hour/meal service. They work exclusively with the Lodge so the sound and the lighting are integrated in the building and it makes a huge difference in sound quality and customization of the lighting! We would recommend them to anyone.

Visa Versa Entertainment was excellent! Michelle kept communication quick and easy leading up to the wedding. CJ kept the party moving and people on the dance floor all night! We had several complements on the music. Overall, VIsa Versa was great to work with and we would highly recommend them!

Brian with Visa Versa Entertainment provides outstanding service for our reception! He was extremely personable and professional when we communicated with him, whether it was in person or through email. His DJ-ing skills were fantastic! His transitions from song to song were flawless and he kept everyone on the dance floor for hours! I highly recommend!!

Brian and his wife were amazing at communicating before our wedding reception. They were accommodating when I had to change our meeting, they were thorough with all the details beforehand for the day of. Brian was AWESOME the day of, music was what we wanted and some of his own doing, everyone loved it and had a blast. Things couldn't have gone smoother or with less stress!

CJ kept the party going for us! He was awesome that day and also when we met about a month beforehand to discuss some of the songs and details we wanted. VVEP is great about responding to emails in a timely manner. I wish we had reached out earlier to ask about a projector/screen for a couple of slideshows because theirs was unfortunately already booked by the time we asked (close to the wedding), so make sure you ask early if you’d like to have theirs available! We were really happy with their uplighting as well!

Brian did a good job with running everything on schedule. The only hiccup was that during our father-daughter dance the track kept skipping. I had requested one of the verses be cut out from the song but it appeared as if he never checked his work to make sure the track actually would play all the way through.

If you're looking for an entertainment company in the Central New York area, Visa Versa is incredible. When we first sat down to plan our big day, Brian came across as personable, friendly, extremely knowlegable, and helpful. In the months leading up to the wedding day itself, Brain was excellent with communication, paid close attention to details, and happily accommodated requests. He prides himself on providing a memorable show without stealing the spotlight from the bride and groom. He exceeds his stellar reputation. For our wedding, everyone had a blast on the dance floor. We received so many compliments about the great vibe and atmosphere Brian helped create. A lot of people told us after that the DJ was great!! Our wedding package included music, uplighting, and a photobooth (an absolute hit with kids and adults alike). We cannot thank Brian and the whole Visa Versa team enough. Thank you for helping create an amazing experience we will never forget!

Brian, with Visa Versa was awesome!! My now husband and I were planning our wedding to be at the Grand Ballroom Marriott Downtown. From our first phone call with Brian we knew he was the one.. He was really friendly and easy to talk to. We had many concerns about choosing the right DJ because the DJ runs the entire party and either makes or breaks it. 
 Brian asked us many questions to get an idea of what kind of music we wanted and just to get to know us in general. We met up with him and felt even better because of how organized he was and how thorough he was with his questions. Being in digital marketing I SOOO appreciated the Visa Versa website. They have a client portal within it where we could login and add EVERYTHING - including ‘must play’ songs, ‘do not play’ songs, slow songs…. Being the most OCD bride, I was so happy I found Brian, he’s done so many weddings AND so many weddings in the Grand Ballroom at the Marriott Downtown, we felt that much better about him. 

He knew about everything including which lighting we should have as well. The uplighting was KEY. The Grand Ballroom is so huge without the uplighting all the beautiful details get lost in the dark as the sun goes down. Brian knew where to put every light and I got to choose which lighting, which colors and even where I wanted them. It was amazing because he even has videos on his website of how different each light looks in the ballroom as the sun goes down. The most organized and professional DJ ever. From the start of the reception, Brian started the party and did an amazing job keeping our rowdy crowd on track - which I give him so much credit for because we had an insane crowd. 

 All of my guests said that our wedding was one of the best they’ve ever been to, and I give so much of that credit to Brian. All of the music he picked was the best. It couldn’t have been more aligned with what we wanted and the theme of our wedding. 

If anyone is getting married in the Grand Ballroom in the future they 1000000% should hire Visa Versa. We literally could not be happier with Brian!

Brian was the DJ and lighting professional for our wedding, and we couldn't have made a better choice. From the start of planning to the actual wedding day, he and his wife Michele were on top of everything and true professionals. They responded to all emails and questions promptly and thoroughly, and only suggested we have one face to face meeting, which was a huge relief with the craziness of planning. During that meeting, Brian spent about an hour with us, explaining their typical procedure at the wedding, actively listening to our wants and needs, and most importantly, making intelligent suggestions to make our wedding the best it could be. He offered advice and even suggested changing some of our choices without being pushy, and explained exactly why there might be a better option for certain things. On the wedding day itself, Brian showed up on time and had everything ready to go without any questions or badgering of the bride or groom, (unlike a lot of vendors who need to ask you a million questions the day of to figure out what to do.) the ceremony and reception went off without a hitch and the whole venue was able to hear our vows with no problem. For the rest of the evening, he kept us on schedule and kindly reminded us of when and how things needed to happen, such as the toasts and the wedding party announcement. And as for the actual music, he had almost every single guest on their feet and dancing ALL NIGHT, without any annoying hyping or talking. People I have never seen dance in their lives were on the floor for hours....I would never recommend another DJ over this company. They are simply perfection.

We worked with CJ, who was timely, personable, and seemed to genuinely be interested in our music preferences. I had some fairly specific time cues for our processional music as well as our introductions, and he honored these perfectly. He did a great job introducing our wedding party, and touched base with me and my husband throughout the night about time frames for switching up the music/timeline of events. A few critiques: I suspect there is not always perfect communication between the office and their DJ's. I sent a last email about 2 days before our wedding to the office, and did not receive a response (generally they were very attentive to email). As I was concerned, I texted our DJ directly, and he was under the impression he had the most up to date information. This misstep lead to us having the wrong mix for our first dance- which totally threw us off. Luckily, this is something only we noticed, not any of our guests. There was some delay in getting music going at one time during cocktail hour, however, again, I'm not sure how much guests noticed this. In the end, CJ did a FANTASTIC job with the reception music. He honored all our "do not plays", we told him to choose our last dance and he really paid attention to us and our guests and picked a great one. I gave him a long list of suggestions, and I could tell he used this as well as chose other songs that fit in with my style that he thought would work better. He played EVERY must play (we only had about 5). We received many compliments that night about his mixes/song selections. So, overall, I think CJ is a great DJ and he did so many things perfectly, but I would suggest that Visa Versa make sure they are all on the same page before an event.

Visa Versa was awesome to work with! We had a lot of very specific and custom lighting requests for our wedding and they not only helped but collaborated with us to make it even more impactful. The amount of above and beyond service was really surprising. We would highly recommend them to anyone considering their services.

Amazing. Simply Amazing. CJ was the perfect DJ for our wedding. We were initially worried about setting up DJ services from afar, but as soon as we met with CJ from Visa Versa, our fears were put to ease. CJ listened to what our vision was and offered his professional advice. He was thoughtful, professional and when the day came, totally on point. Most of all, he didn't use any cheesy tone of voice or language, and kept the party going until the very end! He also worked with six bridesmaids who had different songs to go with each of their speeches, and helped splice our wedding dance to move into a choreographed routine. In short, CJ did an amazing job, and people were raving about him -- well, STILL are raving about the dance party he provided us! Thank you, CJ!!

We originally met with Brian and Michelle to go through what we wanted in a DJ, and they definitely got the picture. Our final meeting was with CJ and he made sure he knew what we were expecting and how the evening would flow. CJ was a great MC, he kept the dance floor full and we received a lot of compliments on the music variety. You know the DJ was great if the guests don't stop dancing til the lights come on!

Cj was the DJ at our wedding and he was fantastic. The uplighting was beautiful. CJ was very professional and did a great job keeping everything going and making sure guests were aware of what was going on. He played everything we wanted, even finding a couple hard to find songs. We couldn't have been happier with Visa Versa.

Brian and his co-workers are amazing! He was so fun to work with a flexible about our playlists needs. We have been to many weddings in the past few years and this was the best dancing wedding yet...the dance floor was ALWAYS full with some music for everyone of all ages. He also always knew exactly what was going on in the flow of the night and was able keep things running smoothly.

Bill was awesome. Organized, and an overall good dj. We wanted a party atmosphere and he did exactly that.

For me, all I wanted out of our reception was an amazing dance party... and boy did we get it!! Working with Brian and Bill was easy and they definitely know what they're doing to reel people in to the party and keep them on the dance floor. Even if their ideas were different than ours on some things, they worked with us to make our vision come true and we couldn't be happier. Strongly suggest the photobooth and the uplighting too, it created the perfect atmosphere!

Brian is so fun to work with and he knows how to keep a reception flowing. He also did the sound for our outdoor wedding and his specially designed system managed to minimize the sound of the wind in our mics despite the gusts coming off the lake. He worked with us closely to plan how we wanted the night to flow and he did a great job of helping us deliver a mix of old and new songs for our guests. Even our conservative family members who don't dance complimented the music choices. There's no one better in CNY!

They are a group of very professional DJ's. We met with our specific DJ to go over music selections and other aspects of the night. The music that was played was a great mix and the dance floor was full all night. I also did uplighting through them, and the room looked fantastic. They were very easygoing and did whatever I or the groom wished. Definately recommend them.

Brian is amazing! Everyone said he made my wedding the best one ever! We used his photobooth service as well and LOVED the album!!!

Disasters happen, but Brian and Bill handled it very professionally - worked everything out. Bill did a great job as our DJ - got many compliments from our guests. The lighting was beautiful and they went out of their way to make it the best possible in an uncomplying room.

The guys were great! They did everything we asked and more. They were a little pushy on following the schedule, but it was still amazing!

Brian at Visa Versa was amazing to work with he was very accommodating, always answered my emails, and was able to provide anerything I asked for. He allowed us to use his trussing for our decorations without any concern. My only complaints are that we had hired Brian, and ended up with someone else for part of the evening because of another event that he had to tend to last minute. Unfortunately this replacement, did not have all his ducks in a row and the monogram we ordered for the dance floor was not able to work adequately, and the flow was a little rough at first. I missed most of the reception, but I was told the music and rhythm after dinner was great. I would use him again.

Brian was our DJ (owner) and he did an amazing job reading the crowd. The dance floor was never empty. Even the wait staff was up dancing! Everyone had a blast!

Brian was the best! He started the party with great music during the cocktail hour and ended it with great dance music throughout the night. The lighting he offers is also amazing. We had full-on club lighting once the dance floor opened. My reception pictures were incredile in part due to the great lighting. He was also so personable, but also professional throughout. Brian was the DJ for our wedding. From the first time we met with him, were confident that he would give us the music and atmosphere we were looking for at our wedding. He arrived early to set up the equipment for the ceremony. He set up mics on all ceremony musicians, the officiant, and the groom. The sound quality was amazingly clear, especially given the amount of wind. Brian was a great M.C. for introductions, toasts, cake cutting, and special dances. Once the dance music started, the dance floor was packed until the lights came on. Everyone afterward commented on how awesome the DJ was, and what a great mix of music he played. He knew how to read the crowd and what type of music people wanted to hear. He definitely made our wedding unforgettable!

Choosing a DJ service was very important to us because we had been to a couple weddings in the past few years where the DJ was really terrible and we felt that they ruined the wedding reception. Visa Versa was the one and only DJ service that we met with before booking them for our wedding reception. They were so accomodating and they let us choose each and every song that was played at our reception, which is exactly what we were looking for. On top of providing exceptional DJ services, they also offer many different lighting options, which we took advantage of. We chose to have pin spotlights shining on our centerpieces. They actually hung the spotlights from the ceiling and the lights really made our centerpieces the main focus of each table, which is exactly what we were going for. Overall, Visa Versa gets 2 thumbs up from us and we will forever remember how amazing they were to us and how special they made our wedding reception.

We were so happy with the music for the wedding. Visa Versa kept everything running smoothly. They were great to work with too! So happy we used them.

He was very professional and got our taste in music completely. The dancefloor was always full!;Seems to be a young crew so we had to put up with a bit of miscommunication at the begining and a change of DJs the last week before the wedding so we had to go through the details twice with them. The end result was great except that they didnt play the song i wanted for the bouquet throw.. Minor detail.
