Vista West Ranch

We are SO glad we chose VWR for our wedding. It was actually the first and only place we toured because we loved the grounds so much and because they offered a great package deal and onsite lodging. It was really helpful that they include a day-of coordinator through Coordinate This (Ashley was so amazing) as well as bartenders (Bar Butlers) and a DJ. We really wanted to be able to stay on the property and continue the party with our closest friends and the on site lodging for 30+ people made that so easy! I think our groomsmen were up until the sun came out! We had so many guests tell us the venue was the most beautiful they had ever seen - we agreed! The property is gorgeous. We barely needed any additional décor aside from our florals because the venue is THAT pretty on its own. We also wound up being well below the venue max (which is something like 250?) because of COVID. We only had around 85 people but our coordinator made sure to space and rearrange tables and things to make it still feel intimate, but never crowded. It was a perfect day.

Vista West Ranch is the total package! I cannot say enough about how amazing the people and packages are. You get so much with the rental fee which helps so much with the planning process. The vendors and staff they include in the rental are all amazing as well. We had to postpone our original March wedding due to COVID-19 and they were so easy to work with! Brittany had us rescheduled in just a few hours. We didn't realize we didn't reschedule quite far enough out (first pandemic to really go through), but we were still able to pull off our June wedding thanks to their awesome work and communication with all of our vendors and Hays County! I'm also excited and so blessed to say that now 3 weeks later, no one got sick from our big day. VWR really knows what they are doing and they take SUCH good care of their clients. Special shout out to Brittany! You are an absolute rockstar!!!

Vista West is beautiful! I don't think we could have picked a more perfect place for our wedding. This venue does a great job of making it much easier to plan a wedding with the included DJ, bartenders, and wedding coordinator. Along with all of this there was on site lodging where our full wedding party was able to stay the night of the wedding. I don't think there's enough good words that I can say to describe how happy I am with how our wedding went at Vista West Ranch.

My Husband and I got married at Vista West Ranch on 2/22/2020 and it was literally the most perfect day ever! We got so many compliments on how incredibly beautiful the venue was and I cannot say enough about how awesome all the staff were with responding to texts, calls, and emails throughout the planning process. They were so accommodating with us before the wedding to store decor items we had and Brittany was such a gem in helping us with this. We cannot say enough great things about VWR. They care so much about the couples that get married at the venue and making their day special.

VWR is absolutely beautiful! The owners and staff are wonderful! They go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect for you and your guests. The vendors they work with are phenomenal, Brittany our coordinator did a fantastic job. The bar butlers and our dj Brandon were amazing as well. Our guests still talk about how beautiful and magical our venue and wedding was!! Booking this venue was the best decision ever!!

We cannot say enough about Vista West Ranch. As soon as we toured the venue and met Stacy and Joe, we knew we wanted to work with them. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, and the package includes some really amazing vendors, that our guests and our parents continue to rave about. The staff at Vista made everything really easy and we felt well taken care of the entire time. We stayed in the onsite accommodations the night of our wedding, which we loved. Overall, it was a really wonderful experience. We would recommend Vista West Ranch to anyone!

Choosing Vista West Ranch as our venue was one of the best decisions we made while planning our wedding. They were always very kind, communicative and patient. They make everything so convenient by including a DJ, bartenders, and day-of coordinator in their rental price and everyone they work with is very professional and reliable. Paid in full & signed a contract for 250 attendance 1/5/19 wedding.Attended open house, won hr early check in day of wedding & booked all cabins for night of.Joe mentions transitioning round tables to farmhouse, asking current brides & should know soon.Sept, ask status on tables so we know how to decorate.Receive an email back, "haven't decided yet". Oct., ask to go out to look at floor plan.Shelby greets us & is super. Informs us still not sure on table situation.Share concerns on time frame to decorate w/ 4:00 Sat. wedding & ask if we can set up day before? "As long as there is not a Fri. wedding, NO problem & we can reserve 3 mths prior w/no charge". 10/5, reserve Fri. to decorate & schedule rehearsal. Return email from Nicki replies "you have 1 hr per our agreement for rehearsal & decorate.After, doors will be locked."Notify Joe we had spoken with Shelby, 1 hr not enough time to decorate & rehearse.Request 2-3 hrs & Shelby had said ok. Joe emails, Shelby no longer there, but he ok's rudely". November, Bar Butlers RECOMMENDS adding bar assistant. 12/14, FINALLY let us know farmhouse tables! Email from Bar Butlers REQUIRING extra bartender & bar asst for 250 count wedding, + $500.Count never changed from original contract. VWR doesn't forward contract to Bar Butlers! Bar Butlers emailed questionnaire a week after booking venue with specific questions, this early didn't know answers. 1/4, arrive at 1 to decorate as approved by Joe on 10/5. Ashley, (new name) asks what we are doing & informs us aren't to be there until rehearsal time at 3:00.She calls Joe, ok but to let us know a 1 time COURTESY he is giving. (I Email Ashley after wedding about Joe's prior approval. Responds rudely "Yes, it was I who spoke to your guest as I was in the middle of a tour and we had you on calendar for Saturday for early check-in at 1pm not on calendar for Friday prior to your rehearsal.I contacted Joe immediately & he didn't know anything about it but allowed you access since everyone was there and my tour was wrapping up".Forward the email thread that Joe & I had. Tone changes,"Thank you for sending that over there was no indication on our calendar & when I contacted Joe he was unaware of it I'm sorry for the miscommunication since I was not informed about it.) WEDDING DAY! Day of coordinator, DJ, & Bar Butlers was good!Bridal Ste dirty & NO TP or paper towels! Caterer, s'more & hot cocoa bar set up under trees. ALL light bulbs on side of building were burned out. Dangerous!Told coordinator, but nothing done.Many people complained.Much food & drink wasted because couldn't see.Wedding ended at 10. Venue till midnight. Coordinator had us loading decor on tables outside & locked out of venue by 11!Won early check in at open house, didn't get relayed to coordinator. SHORTED an hour.VWR cabins bedding had not been changed in months. In addition, signs everywhere,"IF YOU ARE STILL HERE WHEN CLEANING CREW ARRIVES, WILL BE CHARGED OR YOU HAVE TO CLEAN!"Coordinator told us to pick up everything including flower petals or taken from deposit.Received full deposit, but took 4 weeks!Ashley said cut on 15th, then, 27th.Joe said accountant sick so he signs & mails.Right hand doesn't know what left hand is doing.Joe involved in too much with 3 venues & brewery.Appears to be all about the money.As we were driving out, next wedding family pulling in to unload.

Vista West Ranch is incredible! We loved the pictures we saw online, and as soon as we toured it in person we knew it was the perfect venue. The wonderful owner Joe and his amazing team answered all our (many) questions over phone, email and in-person in the months leading up to our wedding. The prices include DJ, day-of coordinator, bartenders and lines, which made planning so much easier. Every vendor they include or recommended was great to work with! Our wedding was perfect and we received so many compliments from our guests about the venue. We highly recommend Vista West Ranch!

Vista West Ranch is the most stunning venue! We rented the venue, bunkhouse, cottage and honeymoon suite for the entire weekend. Our weekend was like a scene from a movie. ♥️Not only was our wedding perfect, Joe & Stacey (the incredible owners) and Jordan (my wedding coordinator) gave us absolute peace of mind. Stacey took the time to meet with us to go over our vision a year before the wedding. They responded to all our emails and messages! Our day was perfect and it is all because of the people who are behind the scenes! I remember just relaxing on my wedding day, pinching myself because I was blown away with how beautiful everything was. Jordan deserves all the love for keeping track of everything and bustling my dress twice. 👏🏻 The hill country, the barn, the people. Everything was magical and we are so grateful.

VWR was a dream. Everyone who runs the operation there is so kind and patient. They never make you feel like you're inconveniencing them (even when you're bugging them a million times the two months before your wedding, haha.) And these guys are the wedding pros. We booked all of the vendors they recommended and worked with, and every single vendor was awesome.They made wedding planning so easy, and they made it very easy to enjoy our day in a gorgeous space. VWR made our wedding so wonderful. We are so very glad we chose them. After searching and visiting a number of venues, the beauty of this location, the all inclusive take care of everything nature, and the lovely owner Joe, won us over. We loved that the prices included things like the DJ, bartenders, table clothes & chairs, and a day of coordinate. It was so nice not having to deal with all those extra details. The staff was very communicative and responsive to our numerous questions. And the venue was everything we had hoped when the big day came. Vista West Ranch was the first venue my husband and I checked out. We continued to look at TONS of other venues in the area but we kept going back to Vista West. It is just breath taking! Stacey and Joe are so easy to work with and will provide you with anything you need. We also rented The Creek Haus as we have a huge family from out of town and it was magical. Everyone still raves about how perfect our wedding weekend was!! I would highly recommend this venue for your wedding day!

What an amazing place. We decided to get married at Vista West and honestly, we looked at about 20 other venues - this was the only one to prove to be almost all inclusive. It includes the ceremony and reception space, the DJ, the bartenders, the decorations, the coordinator, AND MORE. They are genuine people who are extremely flexible, kind, and a joy to work with. It’s a beautiful space in Dripping Springs and I can’t imagine getting married to the love of my life anywhere else. It was a dream.

I will start by saying that Vista West Ranch is a gorgeous venue. It makes for beautiful pictures as well and there is so much that you get for the price. The Vista West Ranch team was very responsive and quick to answer to all of my emails and the vendors that they provide in the contract are amazing. The only issue I had with this venue is the accommodations. My guests complained that the sheets smelled musty or that they didn't look clean. They also complained that the showers/tubs in their accommodations did not drain. In our honeymoon suite there also was no coffee in the morning which I feel like is a simple thing to have for the newly married couple after their wedding day. I would book the venue again in a heartbeat, but I would not pay for their accommodations again.

I've been in love with Vista West Ranch since seeing it in a magazine before we even got engaged. The venue is beautiful and having things like a coordinator, bartender and DJ included made life SO much easier. On top of that, all of the vendors included were rockstars. It's the little touches that really make the venue special. Joe and the team were easy to work with and we couldn't be happier. Our wedding day was looking to be rainy and cold so I had already decided on an inside ceremony. After getting to the venue, it was gorgeous out so they had set up for an outside wedding just in case. They were 100% happy to change to indoors but I LOVED that they had anticipated that I might change my mind after seeing the sun out. Walking into the barn took away all of the stress and-for the first time since wedding planning started- I was excited. Absolutely incredible venue and team!

Vista West Ranch: my goodness have y’all set the bar high! Not only are the owners amazing people, their team are SO easy to work with and you can tell they genuinely care about their clients! This venue is hands down the mort gorgeous venue I have seen, and it’s amenities are even more of a bonus. Every time I would stop by for an open house or even for rehearsel, it took my breathe away. My wedding was on a rainy day, and ahead of time they told me my options so I was prepared. When Plan B happened, it was just as gorgeous and I was so happy to see how many guests were awed at the beauty of it all. The included packages for coordinator and DJ could not have been a better selection. I literally do not have one bad thing to say. Thank you Vista for being part of our forever!

I was the officiant/best man at a wedding at The Creek Haus and I can’t say enough about the experience. The experience of having 35ish of our closest friends together for a long weekend culminating in a wedding of our dearest friends can’t be beat. I also got the opportunity to get to know a few guests better for having spent the weekend at the Haus with them. It’s an amazing way to bring everyone together. The amenities were unbeatable and while some people were worried about lack of cell service, it was better without it and those that needed it just headed out to the road. The wedding itself went off without a hitch, not least of all because of the careful planning of the event crew. The staff and crew at the Haus were real pros who made it a special experience for the bride and groom. They took care of everything and helped out the bridal party with a few special requests at the last minute. They were flexiable and amenable which helped those of us giving speeches to relax because we knew everything else was handled. The Creek Haus is the perfect spot for an amazing wedding experience, I can’t say enough nice things about the crew and the property itself.

My son and daughter in law were married at the Creek Haus this year. When people ask me “how was the wedding” I reply with one word “FABULOUS”! The venue itself offered them the opportunity to turn their wedding into a three day celebration with friends and family as most of the guests were from out of town. My son arranged for all the guests to feel they were an integral part of the ceremony. My daughter in law did an amazing job transforming the Creek Haus into her vision of what she wanted for her special day. The staff of the Creek Haus made sure that all arrangements went off without a hitch. The Creek Haus should definitely be on the top of your list for a “FABULOUS” and memorable wedding celebration to start your new life together!

My wife and I got married at the Creek House in June 2018. We recently relocated to the Austin area and our challenge was to find a venue that could accommodate 50ish out of state travellers. Our goal was to provide a memorable and immersive wedding *EXPERIENCE* for our guests, and the Creek Haus offered everything we needed to pull that off. Our entire wedding party plus guests stayed on the property COMFORTABLY, and while the lack of wifi or cell service may be intimidating at first, it proved to be the most valuable benefit to this venue. It forced everyone to unplug and enjoy each other for the 3 day stay. For those with little ones left at home or with work to tend to, the house landline phone and cell service lot (about a 5 min walk away) accommodated to their needs. The venue is amazing and everyone involved from VWR, from our first tour to our last song, couldn't be more helpful. I can't commend Joe and Stacey enough for putting together a storybook venue with an all star staff; I couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else.

Attended a wedding at The Creek Haus of my best friend and his wife. It was an unbelievable experience and venue. Gorgeous property with amazing amenities and beautiful scenery. I think everyone including myself was blown away by the experience. The entire wedding party was able to stay on site as well as some of the family and other friends which made for a very fun time and provided extra time to visit with all involved to make it such a special time. Would highly recommend The Creek Haus to anyone, simply amazing!

My wife and I got married here in Sept 2017 and our experience by far exceeded our expectations! A year after our wedding, our guests still talk about the amazing weekend we all shared together. Our families and all of our friends became so connected from sharing a long weekend with each other and without the distractions of TV and phones. Of course, our actual wedding night was the highlight of the weekend, but we took away so many more lasting memories due to the length of time we got to spend on site with our closest friends and family. I couldn't think of any critical feedback, or anything that I would suggest changing or doing different, as the layout, site, experience, and staff all exceeded any of our expectations!

It’s been a little over a year since our wedding and I remember the details like it was yesterday. The Creek Haus lodging is incredible. The barn is unbelievable. And Joe and Stacy were amazing. We were able to spend 2 days with our family and bridal party relaxing, talking, drinking, and having fun. By the time it was wedding day, we were so relaxed and ready. The amenities on site were perfect and no one even cared that there was no cell service! It allowed us to unwind and reconnect. To this day, my family and friends talk about going back for a family reunion... or a fun weekend!!

The Creek Haus is nothing short of amazing. We planned our wedding from Chicago and booked TCH completely sight unseen, but are so glad we did! Joe & Stacey's team were amazing in communicating the months leading up to the wedding. The houses and venue were perfect for our 35-person wedding, and we had the best time celebrating and spending time with our closest family members and friends. It was a completely unforgettable weekend in a gorgeous setting, and we are so happy we chose The Creek Haus.

Two families from different places met and spent an absolutely wonderful 4 days together at the Creek Haus. The accommodations were impeccable and met all of our needs, about 50 of us. The friendly staff was easy to work with and the coordinator and DJ were solid. The actual wedding venue was beautiful and our perfect wedding went off without a hitch. Yes, there is no WiFi, and that was great; our families drank, ate, and developed real relationships instead of infinate scrolling. Highly recommended!!

After our original venue cancelled on us due to unforeseen circumstances, we scrambled to try and find something that we were just as in love with as the original venue. We visited TCH and we were ecstatic that our first choice fell through. The Creek Haus far surpassed our original plans in the best ways possible. There was nothing better than having all of our close friends and family stay on property with us. Everything was perfect. Joe, Stacy, and their team were AMAZING. The lodging was very well put together. The little details are what made it all worth it. Fire pit, outdoor games, comfy chairs, and plenty of space for every one to roam. The reception barn was beautiful. The lights and fireplace really set the mood for our big day. The only thing I would suggest is maybe a mini fridge for the bridal suite for beverages while getting ready. Everything was beyond what we could have envisioned. All the things that were included with the package (tables, chairs, bar staff, DJ, lodging, and coordinator) made my life so much easier. Honestly, stop your search now and go take a tour. They know how to take care of their couples and are simply put, fantastic people. You can tell they pour their heart and soul into making it a peaceful place to get married. Just trust the random bride on the internet telling you this place is a diamond in the rough and go see for yourself!!

I can KNOT believe I haven't wrote a review for The Creek Haus yet! We were torn between heading to Costa Rica or keeping it in the states. When we realized family wouldn't travel to Costa Rica we knew we had to find somewhere we can turn our wedding day into a destination wedding experience but in the states. This is when my google search brought me to The Creek Haus a venue you get from Thursday to Sunday with 70+ of your closet friends/family staying on the property with you! It was the perfect venue for our guest traveling in from California and Illinois. With the property having no cell service/wifi it was great to have our friends and family be in the moment with us and not on their cell phone. We saw phenomenal dance moves come out from people we didn't expect too. Joe, Stacey and Jordan were easily accessible to answer all my questions and if we had our parents in town they would allow us to drop by and show the venue off to them. Jordan was our day of wedding coordinator and she made sure everything went according to plan. If we had any problems I had no idea and still don't to this day. Between having Bar Butlers and the DJ who are included they made sure to have everything go smoothly - They know the venue well! I'm already thinking about booking it to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary there...Luckily I have plenty of time to plan for that :)

If you want to work with the best venue and the best people, Vista West Ranch is your place. Our wedding went off without a hitch. The vendors that Vista hires that are part of your package are amazing and will make your day the best day EVER!!!

We were lucky enough to have our wedding at Vista West Ranch this June, and I cannot say enough great things about this beautiful venue! Vista West Ranch is the perfect place for a Hill Country wedding! They are priced extremely well for the amount of items you get included in their package (DJ, day-of coordinator, bartenders, tables, chairs & linens for 150 ppl, some decorations) which makes it pretty much a one stop shop. Joe & Stacey are amazing and truly care about the couples that get married at their place! They communicate effectively & answer every question you could possibly have. I could not have picked a more perfect venue & I am so happy that we were able to get married here! All of our guests are still raving to us about how beautiful (and unique) the venue was. Go and tour this place & I promise it will be hard to choose any other venue!

Our daughter had a very specific vision for what her special wedding venue would look like, given she wanted to wear an elegant dress and cowboy boots! VWR filled the bill perfectly, as it is the perfect blend of elegance and rustic beauty! From the outdoor ceremony area to the elegant barn-style indoor reception hall, bridal chamber, men's bunk house, etc. it all came together to create the perfect evening! The staff was easy to work with, responsive when we had questions, and nothing was left to chance so we had no unexpected surprises! Thank you, Vista West Ranch!

We can't recommend Vista West Ranch nearly enough. Joe and Stacey are incredible people, and the vendors they work with are just as amazing. The venue alone will sell itself, but the people are what made our day absolutely perfect. They are helpful, professional, creative, and fun! We visited Vista, and knew that we loved it, but after we met Joe and Stacey, we knew there was no better place we could possibly imagine. It truly was a dream come true.

BOOK THEM NOW! We were an out of town couple, who booked the venue based on only pictures. We had our wedding there Memorial Day weekend and everything turned out better than I could have ever imagined. This venue, their staff/owners, decor, and not to mention the setting are perfect. We had the pleasure of communicating with a number of people at the venue. Whether it was coordinating a last minute tour to see the venue or answering questions for a concerned bride, everyone I dealt with was patient, responsive, and consistent. The bridal suite is a cool relief from the Texas heat and we had enough room for all 7 of us to get ready. My husband and his groomsmen loved the bunkhouse and continue to rave about how awesome it was. Unfortunately for our guests, it was 100 degrees when my husband and I got married. But the trees provided shade during the ceremony and the barn (reception hall) was a great place to house the early arrivers. Every vendor they referred to us was just as responsive and communicative. And from my conversations with our vendors, you can tell VWR has a outstanding reputation with them as well. I would recommend VWR to any couple who wants the complete package for their natural rustic chic wedding, because they gave me the wedding of my dreams and we are forever grateful to them.

Joe and Stacey have become a second family to us. They were incredible to work with throughout the planning process and made for the smoothest, stress-free experience we could have imagined. The venue is breathtaking. The ceremony site is dreamlike under the shade of huge trees, the biergarten was the perfect relaxing space for our guests during the cocktail hours, and the barn was awe-inspiring. So many of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was and how smooth each space flowed into the next. We also have been guests at a wedding at VWR when it rained and the rain plan is equally as magical (which was one less worry that we had to deal with if you know the unpredictability of Texas weather). Regarding booking, VWR has an incredible group of preferred vendors that made coordinating across music, florist/decor, bartenders, and catering a breeze. These vendors know the space so well and have worked with one another many times before that it felt like one huge family working in tandem to make our day come to life. As a same-sex couple in Texas we have had our share of uncomfortable run-ins with wedding vendors. The entire VWR family welcomed us with open arms and were so supportive of every question/decision we made along the way. We couldn't have asked for a better experience from start to finish.

We got married at Vista West Ranch at the end of February and to say it was the perfect venue is an understatement! The rustic charm of the place is beautiful and so unique. Instead of posting the essay I just wrote about how wonderful this place is, here are the reasons you should 100% get married here: - The biergarten, the fire pit (we did smores), the barn, the bridal suite, the bunkhouse. Everything is stunning, not to mention makes for amazing photos - The Rain plan: we had to rain plan the ceremony and have it inside, I had guests tell me "you couldn't pay enough for that entrance" and that it may have even been better inside then out (***I want to call this out specifically because so many venues have disappointing rain plans... NOT the case here) - The add-ons: they provided tables, chairs and linens for 150, a day of coordinator through Coordinate This (Jamie was calm, collected, in control, and overall AMAZING!!!), 2 bartenders (we added on to this a bit), and a DJ (shout out to DJ Mike who was wonderful!) - The flexibility: We were able to bring in a band, our own alcohol (saved a ton of money), chose our own caterers (we did 2 food trucks), and got to make the whole event very "us". Reasons you may be second guessing: - There is a long winding road to get there: Correct! About 95% of our guests were from out of town and we did NOT want them driving that road let alone drinking and driving. We got shuttles to and from the venue and had guests stay at a nearby hotel. Would highly recommend this. It’s a price to pay, but worth it to not have to worry about people getting home. - Seems like a slightly higher cost than other venues: debatable, but meet with Joe and Stacy and learn about all the time they save you through the perks! The rentals, DJ, coordinator and bartenders alone cover the difference, but when you add on choosing your own caterer and bringing in your own alcohol it can save even more. Our only complaint? We wish we had paid for extra time to get in early so we could spend more time there!! Thank you, thank you, thank you Joe & Stacy for making such a beautiful venue and being so accommodating to us. People, we asked A LOT of questions (and probably the same ones multiple times), and the VWR team always replied so kindly, patiently and promptly. Thank you!

Our wedding at Vista West Ranch was everything we were looking for on our big day! The open houses were so helpful and the availability to check out the property numerous times for planning and decor purposes was so helpful! The owners were the absolute best, from giving advice to checking in on how we were doing and Stacey with her floral business as well, Petal Pushers, was perfection! We highly reccomend the lodging on site and attending their open houses, the recommended vendors are so amazing but what we were most appreciative of was the fact that we were not being forced to choose from their list and had our own freedom. To be completely honest I don't even know where to start. Besides the venue being absolutely breathtaking, Stacy and Joe go above and beyond from all the details big and small. I remember as I was about to walk down the isle I noticed I forgot my dad's picture charm that I wanted to go on my bouquet. Joe happened to be standing right next to me and saw I was upset. He ran to his house and got a safety pin minutes before it was time to walk down. I just couldn't believe all the time and effort they put into our wedding. Vista West Ranch is the way to go.

Vista West Ranch was the perfect venue for us. Joe & Stacy and team were very helpful in making our day special. The packages are helpful however the bartenders included as part of package are just for the labor worked. It does not include the glasses, mixers, alcohol., etc. We definitely were taken aback when we found that out because we didn’t have a huge wedding budget and it was more money we had to come up with. Also we had to chase after the bartenders in order to get information and get our order done. Also we went to Specs and worked with them to get the order done so I don’t feel like the bartenders were very helpful. Aside from the bartender team every other aspect was wonderful. We were able to bring our own caterers in. Also our day of coordinator was fantastic and the DJ was very accommodating to our needs. Would recommend this venue to anyone who wants a rustic chic wedding in Dripping Springs.

We absolutely loved having our wedding at Vista West Ranch this past November (2017)! It was a no brainer for us the moment we visited the venue to decide where we would get married. VWR has the entire package and they make planning a wedding so easy, which was huge for us since we were planning our wedding from out of state. The staff and coordinator were extremely helpful and responsive, answering all questions we had leading up to our wedding. The owners are just phenomenal and all of their recommended vendors (including their bartenders and DJ) are just incredible wonderful people to work with. This venue by far is the best bang for your buck in the Dripping Springs/Austin area and we would highly recommend it to other couples! The only downside was that a couple of weeks before our wedding we were told that we had to pay extra for staffing services and prolonging the wedding reception, even though it was contradictory to the contract that we signed. In the end, all was fine and it seemed like the confusion on their end was genuine, but it is something I would make sure future couples pay attention to just because it was a little stressful to deal with in the month leading up to the wedding. Overall, though, the wedding venue is STUNNING and the people working it are great! We would also highly recommend Petal Pushers, their floral vendor run by one of the owners.

My husband and I got married at Vista West back in April 2017 and couldn't have asked for a better experience from start to finish. We knew from the second we found Vista West online that this was going to be our wedding venue. We did a tour at one of their open houses and booked on the spot, plus we found a ton of other great vendors we ended up working with. The whole team is amazing, the venue is gorgeous, and every single thing about our wedding day was so great. If you are thinking about having your wedding here, book it right now! I wish I could go back and do it all over again

Vista West Ranch was my dream venue for both my ceremony and reception. I had been following it on Pinterest for years. So, when we stopped by for an Open House, I was sold immediately. Be prepared to have a long wait if you want to get married here! The waiting period was about 18 months when we booked in January 2016, but it was totally worth it. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, it comes with several perks (DJ, Bartenders, and a Coordinator). Having a coordinator the day of my wedding absolutely was a godsend. She works with you and handles so many things that could and do go wrong on your wedding day. The DJ and Bartenders were great and very easy to work with too. Note - Bartenders included as part of package are just for the labor worked. It does not include the glasses, mixers, alcohol., etc. Also, another side note - If you are planning on booking VWR, I recommend working with their floral company, Petal Pushers, because they really know how to make the venue shine. The Vista West Ranch team was always professional and willing to answer my questions promptly. They were flexible with some of my requests and were a pleasure to work with. Joe and Stacy have created the perfect wedding venue. The ceremony site is perfectly placed to see the sunset under some shaded trees, and the air-conditioned (important!) barn is unique and beautiful. It includes so many decor features already and really stands on its own (which will save you $$ on decor!) With Vista West, you get access to the venue starting at 2pm on Saturday. This did slightly impact our timeline because it was impossible for us to get our hair and makeup done at onsite due to the number of girls (6 getting hair/makeup done including bride). So, we just had our hair done offsite in the morning and got our makeup done in the bridal suite after arriving at 2pm. You are able to add more hours with VWR for an additional cost. Overall, my husband and I loved our experience with VWR and we feel like it was completely worth it. It helped us have our dream wedding and we couldn't be happier with our decision to book it.

Vista West Ranch made planning our destination wedding so enjoyable!!! They truly are a one stop shop for making a bride’s dream of a hill country ranch wedding come true. Their list of local vendor and open house helped us to sample a lot of vendors at once and feel really confident that they would work well with the venue. We got married on a Friday and were able to rent out all housing on the property from Thursday to Saturday morning- we even had our rehearsal in the Biergarten which was perfect (and also no extra charge!). The package also came with a day of coordinator who was perfect for executing all the details on our big day and making sure everything ran smoothly. Joe and Stacey were so gracious and helpful as well- we are so happy we chose to get married at VWR!!

We initially stopped at VWR because we were in Dripping Springs looking at another wedding venue that I thought I had my heart set on. When I found out how much *wasn’t* included at that venue and how limited we were in using their specific vendors, we decided to stop at VWR on the way home. I am SO glad we did. As soon as we met up with Brieann who showed us around, I was impressed. She was warm and welcoming and the entire staff seemed so easy going. The venue is drop dead gorgeous, but it’s the service that really made us decide to go with them. They include so much in their package and are really easy going as far as whatever decor you want to bring and vendors you choose. They even said that we could bring in the alcohol a few days before so that we wouldn’t have to worry about it on the big day. Communication was always fast and efficient and I never felt like I was bugging them when I had questions or needed something. All of their included vendors (DJ, bartenders, and coordinator) were prefect and just as easy to work with as the VWR staff was. Payments were easy and the on site lodging is awesome too! Our guests are still raving about the venue! It flows so nicely from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception, and it is spacious without feeling too spaced out. There is also a bar area in the Biergarten for cocktail hour, and firepits if you wish to have them lit! The bunk house for the guys is awesome, as is the bridal suite for the girls. And the photo opportunities are endless! Trust me when I say your photographer will love you if you pick this venue! Thank you so much VWR for making our wedding day absolutely perfect and for making us feel so special!

We had our wedding at The Creek Haus over Thanksgiving weekend and were blown away by the overall experience. The venue itself surpassed what we were looking for in terms of amenities, atmosphere, and scenery. We had the privilege of hosting 70 family members and friends in the on site lodging and the rooms/common areas were immaculate! Owners, Joe and Stacey were nothing but helpful in the run up and during the course of our stay. We can't praise them and their staff enough. Specifically, we LOVED the DJ, Coordinator, and bar staff (included with Venue package). As a wedding venue it couldn’t have been more perfect. The lodging, patios, fire pit, barn and extraordinary views of Texas hill country were out of this world and all our guests commented how fun and enjoyable the property was. We had full use of the main house and patios so once the reception ended we were able to keep the party going! The honeymoon cottage we stayed in was great and all of our guests loved being able to relax in front of the fires enjoying drinks and conversation. The venue played a huge part in the success of our weekend and the amount of our guests who are still talking about your venue is testament to that.

I can't even begin! From the second I walked into VWR, I was just speechless! I just knew this was the place that we wanted to get married in! We were able to go and explore everything from the outdoor ceremony, biergarten, to the honeymoon cabin on location. Everything about it was absolutely beautiful! Joe and Stacey really make everything as easy as possible ( as easy as wedding planning can get) by including so many things such as the bar tenders, DJ, and coordinator! And don't even get me started on the FLOWERS! I came in with only a few ideas, but wasn't the best at explaining what I wanted. Stacey was able to take that and make the flowers dreamier and more whimsical than I could ever imagine! It was such a beautiful fall palette! I walked in on our wedding day and it just took the words out of my mouth. So so beautiful. We planned from the beginning to have an outdoor ceremony, but of course it rained on the one day in November. I was a little bummed, but as soon as I saw what they had done to the inside, I was happy that it rained! VWR really doesn't need all the decorations because it is just so beautiful in itself! I can't even tell you how many guests came up to us telling us that this was such a gorgeous place for a wedding!

Worth the drive! The atmosphere was only one of the reasons we chose VWR for our 10/13/17 wedding. Honestly, compared to the other venues we looked at, we got so much more with them and less hassle than going outside to find and book some of the items ourselves. One of the other reasons, which you may not even think of is the ONSITE ICE MACHINE. That was one major thing lacking at most of our local sites. The vendors included with the venue are top notch and made us feel so welcome. Our guests are still saying how beautiful and "us" the wedding was. And that's all we wanted. VWR gave us a great time with our family and friends, and let me have a few less worries in the process.

I don't even know where to begin! My husband and I just got married at The Creek Haus last weekend and it was everything we dreamed of and more! We like to hang out and party with our friends so the fact that up to 70 of our closes friends and family were able to stay on site with us at the venue was KEY! Everyone was able to relax and hang out all weekend, including the day of. Plus, after the reception was over, my new hubby and I walked to our honeymoon cottage, changed, and met everyone at the Main Haus to keep the party going till 3a! The weather was perfect! Joe, Stacey and their staff are beyond amazing! They are very responsive to emails and calls throughout the entire process and ready to help! Our day of coordinator Lori is AMAZING! She made the day go by smoothly and was supportive the whole way. Joe even came to check on me while I was getting ready for the big day! They really do care and make you feel like family. We used several vendors on their preferred vendors list and you really cannot go wrong with any of them. We were so sad to leave on Sunday morning. We've been to so many weddings with the same group of friends the past 2 years and they said ours was the best because of the atmosphere! It is a magical place and you will not regret booking your big day here! I can promise you that! Worth every penny!

Y’all – this venue is STUNNING. We are originally from Houston, and we looked at venue after venue in the Houston area and even some in League City, but none of them were able to touch the style we wanted and accommodate all of our guests. After touring ten venues, a friend of mine showed me Vista West’s website and I immediately booked a tour; literally the second we walked in we both looked at each other and said ‘this is it;’ Vista West has a bohemian charm with rustic touches and it completely embodied everything that I was going for. The staff was amazing to work with and they were all accommodating in every way; I also loved that it included the tables / chairs/ linens, DJ and a coordinator – this is another thing that sold us. They also have a list of preferred vendors (that you don’t necessarily have to go with) which was another plus, however just about every vendor they recommended worked flawlessly with our vision. It unfortunately rained on our wedding day so we had to move the ceremony inside and as much as it pained me to swallow that idea, the second we arrived at the venue and I saw the setup inside, it took my breath away. I truly, truly cannot say enough good things about this venue – if you book with Vista West Ranch you will not be disappointed, this venue will exceed any and every one of your expectations.

Our story with Vista West Ranch began about a year ago, right after I got engaged to my now husband. We had spent all weekend looking at venues in the area, but I couldn't imagine myself getting married in any of them. As soon as we stepped into VWR for a tour, I knew this was the place I was going to marry my best friend. The venue is charming and exactly what I wanted. I loved that we could have our ceremony outdoors, but the reception inside (the large dance area was a huge plus!). I also loved the idea of having a cocktail hour in the beirgarten. Every aspect of the venue was beautiful and I couldn't help but think how amazing my wedding pictures would look. We booked the venue that day. The owners, Joe and Stacey, were unbelievably amazing through the whole wedding planning process. They answered every single question I had (I was very new to the wedding planning thing so I had many questions) and were always so quick to respond to my emails. The fact that the package also includes a DJ, bartenders, and day-of-coordinator was wonderful. I could not have survived without my day-of-coordinator! The bridal suite and groom quarters are very spacious, and was perfect to share the pre-wedding moments with our family and wedding party. My husband and I got married at VWR on 10/7/17 and the wedding was dream. Everything went flawlessly. I am so thankful that we had our wedding at VRW, and I would absolutely recommend this venue to any couple!

Where do I even begin? I knew I loved VWR the moment I stumbled upon their website and then even more so when I went to visit the property for the first time. Joe gave us a tour and I could vividly imagine the fun and celebration we wanted to have taking place right where I was standing. Needless to say, we booked with VWR the next day. They respond to emails in a timely manner. They provide WONDERFUL preferred vendors. The vendors that are included in the package go above and beyond and provide awesome guidance. I would HIGHLY recommend VWR for your wedding and reception location. The grounds are beautiful and my dreams really did come true. Thank you for everything!

First off, Joe and Stacey are the best! So down to earth and friendly; the best wedding weekend started with their hospitality! We did our wedding at The Creek Haus and everyone loved the venue, just as we did the first time we came to visit it. It was perfect for our family, one side from Ohio and the other from Florida. Everyone was in one place and to be able to be with everyone the whole weekend was so perfect! Joe and Stacey and their whole staff communicated with me throughout our whole wedding planning process. I didn't have to wait long to get a response. There was even a point where Stacey went out of her way to try and find a place for our dogs to be boarded because the spot right down the road had horrible customer service. The Main Haus literally has everything you would need to stay the weekend there. It was also a relief to have the bartenders, DJ, and coordinator part of the package because that was three less things I had to try and make sure I got the right people for. Everyone was great to work with! This was the second venue we actually went to see and because we fell in love that's where we stopped and we are beyond happy with how everything turned out! It was literally the #bestweekendever! Thanks again guys!!!

Our daughter Kathryn's wedding was on June 23, 2017. From our first meeting and tour, through the many emails, to the actual day.....well, there are just no words for how accommodating and lovely it was.
