I can not say enough wonderful things about Carissa and the rest of Visual Impact Design. From my first conversation with her, Carissa immediately understood my vision. She also understood that we were having a sizeable wedding and were trying to be as cost conscious as possible, and was eager to get creative with our flowers to give us the biggest bang for our buck without making me feel like I was being cheap. I remember being on the phone with her and scribbling down "I like her!" on a scratch piece of paper that I was taking notes on to show to my then-fiance during our initial phone call. She was always patient with any questions that I had for her along the way, and always told me how excited she was for my vision, even though I'm sure she's done similar flowers over and over again! The result was everything that I had imagined and more. The arrangements were lush, and looked beautiful all night long and beyond. My bouquet actually lasted for two weeks after the wedding, even though it had been out of water for practically 24 hours after the wedding before I got it home! I only wish that I had another reason to use Visual Impact Design again (because planning one wedding was enough for me!) because I just fell in love with her whole staff! Please please book them for your next event, you will not be sorry!

Carissa and Cathy are incredible!!! I was so impressed by Carrissa’s creativity! Alsmot all the flowers she chose were ones I’ve never seen before and they were so beautiful!! She has some amazing colors and they provide vases and votives and bases!! It was a really one stop shop and a huge relief.

The flowers at my wedding were absolutely beautiful and Cathy was so wonderful to work with. They totally brought my vision to life and I was so happy with how beautiful everything looked. Thank you to the entire team!! Xo

Cathy did an amazing job creating beautiful flower arrangements! She made the whole process feel very easy. With one meeting, she knew exactly the look I was hoping for. Visual Impact created a beautiful eucalyptus and flower garland that hung from the arch at our ceremony location, and then was used as a perfect decoration on our head table. I was also very impressed by the variety of flowers in both my bouquet and my bridesmaids' bouquets. Everything was perfect!

Cathy was amazing at taking my ideas and making the floral arrangements fabulous! The flowers were spectacular and I couldn't have asked for anything better. Thank you!

Cathy and her team at Visual Impact are so incredibly talented! After one meeting, Cathy knew exactly what my vision was and the execution was. Enter than I ever could have imagined. I wanted white flowers with greenery and Cathy ran with that, making the most beautiful bouquets and table arrangements. Everything was beyond perfect. The flowers were so unique and what I wanted. They weren't like any other flowers I had seen and felt personal, which made me love them even more. I cannot recommend Visual Impact Design enough!!

We ordered a bridal bouquet, 3 bridesmaid bouquets, 4 boutineers, petals for the aisle way and flowers for the arch for a March wedding. Everything came out beautifully. I was so happy with my bouquet (bride)! Was so beautiful and exactly what I was wanting. The florist was very welcoming and sweet during our consultation meeting. The pricing was very reasonable for what we were wanting. She listened to what we wanted and totally nailed it. There isn't anything I would change about the design, service or pricing. All around great.

I LOVED my wedding flowers! We didn't really order that much, 6 centerpieces, some bouquets, boutonnieres and corsages. I didn't really know what I wanted so, I sent Cathy 2 or 3 pictures of what I was going for--classic white, but with touches of gold for our New Year's Eve wedding. I didn't know what to expect because I didn't give a lot of detail of what I wanted, but when they arrived, I was so happy. The arrangements were everything I wanted that I couldn't put into words! It's 2 weeks later and I still have a centerpiece on my table that is still looking great! I would definitely recommend them to someone for a wedding. As far as prices go, I did a little research and Visual Impact Design seemed to be more reasonable/competitive than some others, but flowers in general are a pretty pricey expense, so you will probably not save a ton of money going with them, but you will definitely pay more if you go elsewhere.

I was an out of town bride working with my vendors. Visual impact did an amazing job with my bridal party flowers!!! I could not have been happier. They worked with me over the phone and though many emails. I worked with Cathy. She was the best, answered all of my questions and said yes to every change I made, to my original idea. When I finally got to see my flowers on my wedding day I was in love!! They could not have done a better job!! Thank you so much.

We got my bouquet, the bridal party bouquets and the groom's boutonniere from Visual Impact.We could not have been more pleased! The flowers arrived right on time and looked amazing. Cathy was super easy to work with and the whole experience was fantastic.

We hired Visual Impact for our outdoor wedding in July. Cathy was super easy to work with and the flowers were beautiful. We went into our consultation not quite knowing what we wanted, but by the appointment end Cathy helped us choose our center pieces and bouquets. They turned out exactly how I wanted and she worked with our budget. The flowers held up nicely even in 100+ temperatures.

I think that you take a great risk trusting your floral designer for your wedding. You don't see what you're getting until the day comes and there's no turning back if something goes wrong. I'm so glad I trusted Cathy and her team at Visual Impact Design. I was wonderfully surprised by the beauty and creativity of the bouquets and decorations she created for me. The bouquets were delivered to my room on time and by friendly staff, who gave me a bouquet of a lifetime. Just what I wanted in just the right colors. And they wrapped it perfectly with satin ribbon and topped it off with a rhinestone brooch. Subtle colors and a wonderful shape. Amazing quality and even a lovely scent. When I got to the altar, I saw what they had done and I was so happily surprised. They had perfectly decorated our archway with just the right amount of flowers. Not too showy and not to meager. The perfect amount of flowers accentuated by strings of crystals. There was an elegance about the floral and greenery combinations, which made me soooooo happy. The table arrangements had the same subtle elegance that looked perfect in the candle light. Really special work. I'm a graphic designer and I have a tendency to be a perfectionist (no. I am a perfectionist) and I didn't think that anyone could meet my high standards. Visual impact did. The price was not cheap, but it also was not out of line. I truly feel I got what I paid for in both service and product. (they are all so very nice, patient and professional) Cathy told me to trust her, and I did. I waited a long time to get married, and I'm only doing it once. I'm so glad that my day was beautifully decorated by people who appreciated the importance of this day to me.

i loved the flowers we were able to get. i approached them when i was living in new york and they were able to plan with me long distance no problem - it was such a blessing! the wedding was a garden theme and we are big local sustainable people so i said i want orange seasonal flowers and what i got was beyond my wildest dreams - the flowers were beyond gorgeous! and the staff was so kind and friendly and i was so thankful for everything they did

I know nothing about flowers and they were so helpful during the entire process. I showed them pictures of the vision I was going for and they worked with me on flowers in season and were very respectful of my price range. My bouquet was beautiful and textured, just like I asked. The centerpieces were also the style I wanted.

A great experience from the start. I had a very limited flower budget and Cathy made sure I got everything I wanted while staying on budget. The flowers were beautiful and delivery was prompt. Correspondence via email was quick!

Flowers were the primary source of my wedding theme and decor, and Visual Impact Design delivered!(literally and metaphorically). Their florists are creative, friendly, and in tune with your vision, even when you don't know what you want. Carissa was my "floral guru," and she exuded the supportive vendor excitement that makes being a bride-to-be fun. She was impressed with my ideas and helped me complete the look with her suggestions. She was very knowledgeable with flowers and was able to score my signature flower (lily of the valley) even though it was out of season. She also suggested some budget savers, like reusing the pew and alter treatments at the reception, and renting pots and wood slabs. Everything was natural and gorgeous, and I loved my bouquet! Using Visual Impact Design isn't cheap, but it isn't pricey either - it's reasonable. They charge for transfers and afterwards pick up, or they give you the option of letting you or your friends handle it. They give you a detailed list of your expenses and are flexible. We spent a bit over $2000, but, if flowers aren't such a big part of your decor, you could spend less. Designing my florals was one of my favorite parts of wedding planning. Thanks Visual Impact! :)

My flowers were beautiful and they were a focal point of the wedding receiving many compliments. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because of the quantity. For example I paid extra to put a piece over our vintage doors in front of the ceremony and for 2 fuller arrangements at the ceremony. They were not very substantial and I felt that it was not worth the extra money I spent. Overall, beautiful flowers and great to work with.

Kathy did a great job on the flowers for our wedding. We gave her our colors and basic theme and she came up with designs that were just perfect for us. She was even able to match the bridesmaid's bouquets to the exact color of their sashes and shoes.

Did a wonderful job. Really tried to help to keep cost down.

Kathy does an amazing job with her arrangements. They are beautiful! She has a lot of ideas but listens to exactly what you want also.

They worked with my budget, they took a vision I didn't even know I had, and created exactly what we wanted. They provide a great product for an affordable price, and they are super nice!

I was absolutly blown away when I was able to see our flowers for our wedding. All I had to do was give a general idea of what I was looking for and they got it spot on. They set the theme for our whole wedding and I couldn't have asked for anything more.

I would definitely recommend Visual Impact to anyone looking for a wedding florist. Cathy and Carissa were both wonderful to work with and really embraced my vision for our wedding. They also advised me what type of flowers were not necessary (since they are a preferred vendor for Arden Hills, they said I would not need much for the outdoor wedding ceremony in the courtyard due to the existing natural flowers). Everything was on time and beautiful. They also really loved the idea of putting silver origami cranes in the centerpieces and altar arrangements (I made the cranes and they put them on wires). A lot of fun to work with them.

Cathy at Visual Impact Design did a phenomenal job with our wedding day flowers. She was attentive to what we requested and provided great service. Not only were the flowers absolutely stunning, but Cathy also helped with some other set-up details for our arbor and ceremony site. All-in-all, we were highly pleased.

I absolutely loved my flowers from Visual Impact Design. I was not looking forward to traditional wedding flowers. So I was very excited when Carissa helped create some fun, bright modern flower designs for me! Carissa is so creative and totally understood my design theme. She helped design the most beautiful bouquets, centerpiece as well as flowers for the altar flowers & aisle. The service was also amazing. They were always very nice and super accommodating with my changes! I still LOVE seeing the work they do! For what we received they were also very reasonably priced.

Cathy Brooks at Visual Impact was great! She worked with us to create our vision exactly and also was able to tweak things to fit our vision into our budget. My bouquet was so beautiful with little extra touches on it, such as a gorgeous brooch. The bridesmaids bouquets were perfect as well. The boutineres held up all evening, which is a feat in and of itself as they tend to get smashed and fall apart with all that hugging. The corsages looked great on all our female family members as well. Our centerpieces were simple and elegant and beautiful just like we had envisioned. Cathy and her team even made an extra delivery for us at no charge as we needed the personal flowers earlier (for photos) than the centerpieces. Cathy was great during all the planning and right up to the big day. I got several quotes for florists and Cathy was the most enthusiastic and the most willing to work within out budget. Every quote and email was on time or responded to quickly. I never had to wait around for her. I would highly recommed this florist to anyone planning a wedding.

From the first day when we missed our appointment we were treated like their only customer! They listened thoughtfully to our ideas and helped us shape our wedding's theme perfectly. Mary is a wonderful lady, very professional and seemed as excited as we were about our wedding!!! Please if you are getting married in Sacramento or have any floral needs see visual impact... You will not be disappointed.

Cathy did a fabulous job putting together my bouquets, the centerpieces, and the chuppah. I just gave her general guidance about what I tend to like regarding colors and types of flowers, and then just trusted her judgment. I am so glad I did. Everything turned out lovely and she was so easy to work with.

Cathy did an awesome job on all my wedding flowers! The chuppah was gorgeous and exactly what I wanted. The bridesmaids bouquets were perfect and I loved the centerpieces. I couldn't have asked for a better florist!

They were very nice and easy to work with.;They are a little expensive so I actually made my own centerpeices. I had them just do some of the decorations and bouquets.
