WOW, what can I say to describe how incredibly wonderful it was to work with the VYC ladies? I'll do my best to encapsulate it in one review. Sierra and Brittney were the reason our wedding went off without a hitch. Truly, they were the strings keeping everything together. I'll describe a few of the key aspects of this and how they helped me at every stage of the planning process below.
Planning Process:
We got married at Kingston House, which requires someone to set up and clean up all decor for the wedding. When I learned this, I started looking for a decor company that helped with styling and design in addition to rentals. My mom happened to stumble upon VYC at a Port Gamble wedding fair, and I reached out to them. Upon chatting with them, I knew immediately they were the perfect fit. They agreed to do all of the rentals, styling, and support for our wedding day. From this moment on, they were INCREDIBLY communicative, and worked tirelessly to help my vision come to life. Across multiple zoom calls, a lengthy text thread, and even venturing into my many Google sheets, Sierra and Brittney were on top of literally everything. They were responsive, thoughtful, and detail-oriented. Beyond all of these things, they are simply a JOY to work with. They and so incredibly kind and positive and made me feel special at every stage. As a bride, you'd be surprised how rare this is with vendors. Sometimes you feel like just another item on the vendor's list – this was not VYC. I could cry just thinking about it!
Week-of wedding:
Brittney and Sierra showed up on the Thursday before our wedding to begin setting up for our big day. They delivered all of our bud vases so my bridesmaids and I could set up, and they hung up all of our lights and lanterns so that it would be done before Saturday and would save time.
Day-of wedding:
Brittney and Sierra showed up at our venue at 7 or 7:30 am and were working tirelessly all day from that moment on. They set up all of our decor, table settings, lounge set, and linens. I told them that I was hoping for linens with no creases (which is very, very tough) and they were out there with steamers for HOURS. Beyond all of the gorgeous styling they did day-of (see pics for proof!) they were so supportive whenever I saw them. While they weren't coordinating my wedding, they felt like an extension of our coordinator because of all the logistics they helped wrangle with the decor and setup.
Truly, these women are running one of the most incredible small businesses I have ever had the chance to work with. They are incredibly professional, and were a ray of sunshine on our wedding day. Everyone would be absolutely lucky to work with them. I would hire them over and over again! Sierra and Brittney – thank you for everything you did for us!!!
