Chef Rico and his staff are amazing! The food was delicious and Rico's staff was very attentive to our guests. Rico provided linens, china, glasses, food, bartending, and the most beautiful wedding cake. He provided one stop shopping, which simplified all of the details of our daughter's wedding. We couldn't have asked for more wonderful service.

Rico was great to work with since day one. Communication was awesome. All emails or texts were answered promptly. He was super nice and very professional. We had catering and bar service for our wedding 9/29/18 and it all turned out great. Couldn’t be happier. Rico and his staff were all wonderful. Food was tasteful and delightful. Definitely recommend Vizcarra Hospitality.

Such a joy working with Frederico! The food was delicious and hot and just like we enjoyed at our trial. This was particularly impressive as the staff had only a prep kitchen to work with. The table settings looked great and were truly befitting the colors and tone of the wedding. Additionally the staff were professional and friendly. We elected to provide our own alcohol, but Frederico was very helpful guiding us to ensure adequate quantities. It was so wonderful to not have to stress over catering and know that Frederico and his team had everything in hand. We highly recommend!!

We hired Vizcarra to handle the catering, bar, and cake for my daughter's wedding. Rico is a nice guy and great salesperson. He comes to the house to prepare a meal, and it's really great. Follow-through isn't so great. The food at the wedding was okay - not nearly as good as the meal prepared at our home. The meat was more dry and less tender. There were some service flaws. He uses tortillas that come in plastic wrappers, and the wrappers were visible on the serving line. The people he hired to do things like pick up used plates had to be reminded multiple times to clear the tables before cake was served. And even then, there were dirty dishes on tables at cake time, while the workers were standing idle. The worst flaw, though, was the cake. When we agreed to let him provide the cake, he was told that the bride had a sensitivity to strawberries, so there could be no strawberries in the cake. We ordered a white cake with dulce de leche filling and buttercream frosting, and this was recorded on our contract. He brought this cake to our house to sample, and it was good. However, the cake that arrived at the wedding was a tres leeches cake with strawberries in the filling - clearly not what we ordered. When we pointed this out, his first response was that he "didn't make mistakes." Later, he blamed it on someone else (he apparently has no control over the product, which means he ought not be in the cake business). So - we had a bride who was unable to eat her own wedding cake. He charges $6 per serving - which is pretty outrageous considering half of the cake, including the top, was thrown away. Additionally, the cake arrived at the venue looking pathetic. There were large gaps between the layers that he had no intention of fixing - he thought it looked fine. I had to ask the florist to return with additional flowers to cover the gaps in the cake layers. So rather than the simple cake with a few flowers, we had a cake that had a lot of flowers between the layers. To his credit, he did bring a cake that was close to what we'd ordered to our house a week later. Of course, one can't re-do a wedding but the gesture was nice. All in all - he's a nice enough guy, but I'd go a different direction if I had it to do again.

We used Vizcarra Hospitality for our daughters wedding. Rico came to our home to prepare the meal for us in advance. I felt as if we were friends by the time the night was over. He is professional as well as warm and friendly. The guest constantly complimented the food. Thanks for the team of Vizcarra Hospitality for making our daughters wedding a amazing night.

Frederico was great. His staff was prompt, friendly, and responsive. We definitely got burned by some of the companies we dealt with (whether it was bad customer service or unexpected fees), but 'Rico was a cut above. Thank you!
