The Vows team also helped me by recommending I get extra fabric so that there was something for the seamstress to work with and it was such amazing foresight. e only local salon that carries that designer and I had seen them post one of the new designs which was MWL Summer and it was exactly what I was looking for. The entire staff here is super nice, the attendant who helped me was wonderful and it was not awkward at all to be basically nude while she helped me try on dresses as she made me feel so comfortable. She was not pushy at all and gave me the perfect amount of direction and advice to help me make my decision- which ultimately was the Summer dress! After the initial try on and purchase it took about 6 months for it to come in, which is exactly what they quoted me. They make picking up your dress and veil super easy, and I even ended up purchasing earrings from their small retail shop as well. I highly recommend coming here, they have so many beautiful designs and a wide range of price points.

I had to reschedule my appointment twice because of a family emergency and Olivia, the manager, was so kind and thoughtful about making sure I was comfortable knowing that whenever I came in, I would be attended to and I would find a dress with plenty of advance time before our wedding.
Katie, my consultant, and Olivia made the entire experience so lovely. They allowed my entire group of guests and I to browse the racks, while they grabbed everything from my wish list they asked me to bring, and confirmed it was a fit. They even allowed me to grab some options that weren't initially on my list. It felt like MY experience.
Ultimately, trying on dresses with Katie was so seamless. She made me feel so comfortable by being validating and also open to sharing her opinion in a professional manner, direct and confident, but not pushy in any way.
When I was confident I found the one, Katie was reassuring, yet had me try on a veil, shoes, and a variety of other steps I would have never considered, just to be sure it was the one. It made me so confident!
As someone who works in sales, it is so easy to feel sold to as a consumer in today's world. Throughout my entire appointment, it never crossed my mind that I was "buying", nor did I ever feel an ounce of pressure in any way.

My guests and I got to browse the immense floor of dresses to point out any to try on. This was definitely the best part! While we were shopping through the racks, my stylist, Liuba, was pulling some dresses from my wishlist online which was another fantastic part and almost like shopping before the shopping! I'm not very girly so I was definitely really nervous about trying on wedding gowns, but my stylist Susie made me feel so comfortable and really listened to everything that I said (and even some things I didn't say). After a great phone call, she quickly followed up with an email with all the short dresses from a designer I was interested in that they had in store! We were brought into a spacious private room and my stylist Brittany D. Was incredible. She was so kind, helpful, and gave input that was constructive but friendly. I have a horrible time making decisions but she never made me feel rushed or uncomfortable. She treated me with respect and even better than a family member would. I HIGHLY recommend VOWS. The space is bright chic and large with private rooms, they have a vast readily available inventory, and they have different lighted rooms so you can see your dress in day and evening lighting- which actually helped me choose my dress. it was always with the caveat that I preferred the ones I'd loved at Vows. So I came back to make my final decision, working with the same stylist (Alli, with a little help from Mandy at the end), and the experience could not possibly have been better! Alli's laid-back, positive vibe and understanding of my style/my really specific knowledge of what I wanted was so nice (and pretty unusual in my experience!), and I came away from purchasing the dress feeling nothing but excited about everything (and I came in a bit under budget!). The combination of the small, intimate feel of the stylists' expertise and the bigger, more thorough feel of the selection of dresses at the store setup was ideal (and I loved that I was able to walk through and pick out dresses in addition to having them suggested to me). Zero complaints about anything!

I was recovering from a lower back injury while trying on dresses. I went in with a very clear vision of what I wanted, and Catherine pulled every dress I wanted to try on. She asked if I’d be comfortable trying on something very different from what I envisioned just to see what I thought. Well, sure enough that’s the dress I fell in love with and purchased! Also the store!!! They have multiple designers in different price ranges etc. They are also the only retailed within the Boston area (aka not a 1.5 hour drive) that carries many of those designers.
