My husband and I got married a month ago at this beautiful beach front venue to host our destination wedding. Everything was perfect!! We booked a year ago for our wedding and we were immediately impressed by the professionalism and accessibility of their Senior Catering Sales Executive Arlene who knew every detail of the venue and how to accommodate a package to fit the planning of an intimate event. She went the extra mile to understand our vision and worked diligently to get things done. Arlene played an important role in the success of our selection of the W to host the perfect destination wedding. Our Event Manager Balice did a fantastic job making sure every detail happened according to plan. She was always very helpful and provided guidance on any questions that we had. Balice went above and beyond, and on the day off executed the event flawlessly. Thank you for accommodating room block for all our out-of-town guests. They were blown away by the entire experience. The W preferred vendor list is great, everyone we selected was professional, accommodating, easy to work with, and they did a wonderful job (EPIC Flowers Design, Sweet Guilt, Marz Makeup & Hair, and Elements & Accents Event Rentals (Le Grande Affairs Inc.). The catering was incredible, and our guests are still talking about how amazing the food was. Thank you so much to Xaiver (aka Javi), Banquet Captain and his entire team for providing an exceptional service. We want to thank the entire W Fort Lauderdale team for making our wedding weekend the most memorable by providing an outstanding service with our Welcome Reception, Wedding Ceremony and Reception. A special thanks to Arlene, Balice, Xaiver and everyone that contributed for making our entire weekend amazingly special! We couldn’t pick a better venue that best aligned with our vision to celebrate a beautiful love story with family and friends. THANK YOU!!! The W was a beautiful beach front venue. They held our rehearsal dinner, welcome party, ceremony, and reception. Our event coordinator changed mid-wedding which was stressful. However, everything was executed beautifully and we could not have had a more perfect wedding. And the food was phenomenal!!! All of our guests raved about it. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a luxe wedding day

needs to accommodate us and our guests as well as coordinate our venue, catering and parking needs. Everyone who stayed at the W had such a great experience and raved about how wonderful the rooms and staff were. The catering through the same kitchen as the hotel’s Steak 954 restaurant was incredible and our guests are still talking about how amazing the food was! We really enjoyed getting ready suites for the groomsmen and bridesmaids as well, it was the perfect amount of space and looked great in photos! Thank you again to Isabelle and everyone at W Fort Lauderdale for making our wedding weekend so special!

k with. Throughout the planning, Taylor put our minds at ease and answered all of our questions. She was very easy to communicate with and always tried to accommodate our needs & budget whenever she could. We all definitely felt that she went above and beyond for us. Taylor truly brought the wedding vision to fruition and we are so happy that we were in such great hands. Our guests were extremely pleased with the atmosphere and the quality of food & beverage. The filet mignon and Branzino were loved by all and the open bar had phenomenal premium liquor options. The views from the rooftop were absolutely breathtaking. I hope that some of my friends eventually marry at this beautiful hotel so that we are able to experience it again.

it well worth a weekend stay there for them. The Great room was the perfect room for my wedding - not to mention how beautiful it is. The chef there is the best in the business. All my guests said everything was DELISH! I worked with Arlene as my wedding contact there, and I cannot say enough how amazing she was. She was available to me at any point in time from day 1 until the day of. She made sure I was happy and that everything I requested was done. My Mom and I loved her personality! She always welcomed us with a big hug and a smile on her face. She is so talented in her job that it made wedding planning so easy! I am sad the day is over because I enjoyed being in touch with her every step of the way! The staff at the W was also spectacular. Dahana at the front desk was my welcome agent, and she was such a sweetheart. She went out of her way to make sure my (now) husband and I were taken care of to the fullest. Anything I asked of from the hotel or needed, was done for me. They really strive in making sure their guests are taken care of. Def have your wedding at the W FTL!!!!!!

ure everything ran smoothly. I highly recommend this venue if you want to have a fairytale wedding. Also, I recommend having the ceremony on the terrace. The guest really enjoyed the view of the ocean. Lastly, the only thing I disliked was the parking. Valet was trying to charge my guests the normal rate when they clearly knew they were at the wedding. My mother had to physically go down stairs to tell them to stop trying to charge them $15. I feel like valet should give wedding guests a different color valet ticket so they know how much to charge.

ur lives! The hotel and its staff were so accommodating and professional all the way down to the tiniest details. We loved the venue and its vibe and couldn't have imagined it turning out any better than it did. The food was delicious and the whole event ran so smoothly. All of our out of town guests loved spending the weekend at the W. When searching for a venue, we didn't take into consideration that the hotel's wedding coordinator would play such an important role in the success of our wedding/reception. I cannot express how great Lauro Ortino is! She is so hard working, professional and reliable and really made our weekend so perfect! She went above and beyond and our wedding day was stress free because of her. During the planning process, we trusted Laura's judgement all the way and we felt so confident in her the whole time. On top of it all, she was so pleasant to be around! Our wedding at the W was incredible!!!

derful Laura is!! She truly made wedding planning a great experience. The food was amazing and all of the catering and banquet staff were amazing. The Chef provided a culinary delight for all of our guests. We had our reception and a farewell BBQ at the hotel and everyone raved about the food and service. We had a lot of people stay at the hotel for the long holiday weekend and everyone loved their guestroom accommodations. We all ate at Steak 954 several times and spent a lot of time at the pools. Everyone we encountered was friendly and hospitable. I highly recommend checking out The W for your big day!!

lawless job! The room was set to a tee, regal and beautiful. The food was excellent and perfectly prepared! Our guests are still talking about it. The service was beyond reproach with guests never having to ask for anything. It is one exciting day to get married after waiting 22 years, but to have the day topped with such a nice venue, room, food and service was just over the top! a modern, beach them that never seems to stop impressing. The modern, yet romantic vibe always the beach theme to be evident but not overly done. The entire staff of the W is amazing! From unloading the car, making sure everything got to where it needed to be, they were extremely helpful and friendly. The Room Staff even got my Wedding Night room together with rose petals, and chocolates (which you or your MOH supply)! The catering staff was always helpful and would get back to me with any questions I had very quickly. I had a pretty large wedding and everyone really, really enjoyed the food which was divine. The catering and kitchen staff really know what they are doing. We had 5 kosher meals outsourced and my family said it was the best meal they have had that has had to be outsourced from a kosher caterer. If you go with a cake I highly suggest using We Take The Cake. Although they have more well known bakeries on their preferred vendor list, I got many compliments that this was the best cake they had ever tasted. I can also attest to it being a very delicious cake ( chocolate/vanilla cake with cheesecake frosting and a vanilla butter creme. The design was also exactly what I wanted as well. The W is truly the best hotel on Fort Lauderdale Beach! I highly recommend! Worth a visit and a trip to their restaurant Steak954!

were greatly disappointed about. It was not easy to obtain a resolution and we were extremely dissatisfied with that aspect of the venue. Also, there was music piped through during our ceremony which made it hard to hear the ceremony and the response we receivd was there was nothing that could be done to change this which made no sense to us. The food was very good though and we liked the property itself.

someone else who dropped the ball in several areas. Also, be sure to pay attention to your billing at the end (our's was off slightly). Overall, it was a fantastic venue but could be improved with service and attention to detail.
