We were recently married at Waldenwoods on September 29th, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. Our final details meeting, all of our phone calls, our rehearsal, the day off - everyone was so wonderful and professional. Jenna was our coordinator for the day and she was so warm and kind and she really knew her stuff. We received so many compliments on how beautiful the ceremony site was, and everyone raved about the food! The servers and bartenders were wonderful. The venue even saved part of our wedding cake for us in a to-go container, which was such a pleasant surprise. They were always so prompt and professional responding to my many many emails leading up to the wedding, and even let us make changes to our table layout the day before the wedding after having a few last minute guests cancel. Book this beautiful venue! You will not regret it!

Waldenwoods is an absolutely beautiful venue to have your wedding at, and we would highly recommend it to those seeking a venue. The staff is wonderful to work with and quickly responds to any questions you have. We held our ceremony and reception at Cromaine Hall. An extra bonus is that they will wait up to an hour before your ceremony starts if they need to pull the ceremony inside due to weather. People can’t stop talking about how beautiful our wedding was. The lakefront is a perfect place for ceremonies. The staff was excellent and helped make sure everything ran smoothly. The food was also very good, and any dietary issues were accommodated for with no issues.

Walden woods and their staff was amazing we had the best day and wedding experience with them they communicate so well, has excellent staff members who always answer question promptly very professional the most gorgeous wedding venue! they have amazing food we had several people tell us it was the best wedding food they have ever had. I 100% recommend having your wedding here you won't regret it!

We had our wedding at Waldenwoods almost 2 weeks ago and I could not be happier to have chosen this location for my venue. From the very beginning when we shopped venues - Waldenwoods stood out as being so easy and flexible. The tour was great, we didn't feel any pressure - we were able to hold a date for a few days without issue, there wasn't a 50 page contract of rules and regulations to sign. We pretty much instantly decided this would be our venue after seeing it. Throughout the entire wedding planning process - Waldenwoods was AMAZING to work with!!! Every time I had a question, I could reach out via email or by phone - I received a response within probably 30 minutes. I was able to come up multiple times to show my mother and MIL the venue, they were always accommodating. The paperwork, prep, payment etc. was seamless, I never had any issues. One thing I wanted to point out - there was a particular vendor I wanted to work with that Waldenwoods does not contract with, Anne went above and beyond to research this vendor, have a call with them to ensure everything checked out and ultimately let me use the vendor! The best customer service. The day of was truly a dream - the venue was beyond gorgeous and romantic (we had ours inside Cromaine). I have to call out the food too - normally any wedding I go to, I don't have high expectations however after we went to the tasting and loved everything, I knew it was going to be amazinggggg and our guests agreed. I received multiple compliments that we had the best wedding food - from the appetizers to the entrée and sides. The best feedback I received was that one of our guests didn't expect the filet to be so tender so when he cut in, the filet flew off his plate and he STILL ate it because he said it was that good - LOL!!! Lastly, we rented the Friendship Lodge and a block of rooms at the Sunshine Lodge and this was SO awesome to have. After the reception, we had a fire with 25+ people talking about the night and then was able to see everyone out in the morning versus an abrupt ending - I loved this! Waldenwoods - thank you for providing the space for an absolute dream day for me!!!

Waldenwoods was wonderful! They were so professional and helped us along each step of the way, from tours to tastings, to numerous phone calls to answer questions. They also helped us coordinate the timeline the day of our wedding!

We found Waldenwoods gorgeous the first time we visited, but the Christmas decorations (we had a winter wedding) made it even more stunning. The service on the day of our wedding was superb. The staff were attentive and made sure we had food and drink and anything else we needed. All the staff we worked with during the planning process were responsive, helpful, and knowledgeable, especially with guiding us during our planning meeting. They were especially helpful with navigating the myriad food sensitivities and allergies of our guests. I highly recommend this venue.

Just had my daughter's wedding here on Sunday. The Waldenwoods staff was wonderful to work with - patient, accommodating and very professional. They are pros at what they do! The night of our wedding the food was delicious and we got many compliments on how good everything was. Our banquet coordinator Janet was amazing and patient with several questions we had in regards to our timeline. Highly recommend this venue!

We absolutely loved having our wedding at Waldenwoods! The staff was so kind, friendly, professional, easy to communicate with, and made the wedding planning process so easy and seamless. They took great care into making sure our wedding was absolutely perfect. The venue itself is just beautiful and we would highly recommend this venue to anyone planning their wedding!

We had our wedding at the Lakeview tent in august. It was absolutely perfect. I got so many complaints on how beautiful everything turned out. I love the tent because it’s a clean slate. You can make your vision come true. We used many vendors they recommended & they turned out to be wonderful too. They were very helpful through the whole process & answered all my questions in a timely matter. Only thing I wish was they had more non chicken entrees that were included with no extra charge. If you want anything other than chicken it’s going to cost you. Other than that, no complaints!

Waldenwoods was fantastic to work with throughout the process of planning our wedding, up to and including the big day! They always responded quickly to questions, and took care to confirm even small details. The Waldenwoods team was super helpful in finalizing details of our ceremony and reception that we probably wouldn't have even thought about, and the day-of coordinator did a great job of making sure everything ran smoothly. A special shoutout for helping us accommodate my younger brother and his powerchair! The staff at Waldenwoods above and beyong to help us find the best option for his care day-of, with no extra cost to us. Thank you, Waldenwoods!

Waldenwoods was the last place we looked at & I instantly fell in love. It is such a charming, romantic venue. Being able to get married outside in front of a beautiful lake then getting to party the night away inside. The staff their was wonderful! Went above & beyond to make our day perfect. Was always able to get ahold of them pre wedding if we needed something. & we were able to get ready on-site which was marvelous. The bridal suite was great. They even provided lunch for us! The food for dinner was AMAZING!!! Not to mention the price was just right. I could not be more pleased with waldenwoods & its staff!

The Cromaine Lodge and Lake Walden are absolutely beautiful in the fall. I was looking for a scenic place to have an outdoor ceremony during fall, and Waldenwoods absolutely fit the bill. They are very experienced with hosting weddings and were very helpful during the planning process. They provided us great information – including a list of local vendors that they regularly work with and recommend. Most of our vendors came off this list and we were pleased with all of them. The event staff was great on our wedding day – Adrianna and Jenna made sure our processional at the ceremony went smoothly. Janet and the rest of the bartenders and reception staff did a great job throughout the night. So many of our guests commented on the beauty and atmosphere of the venue as well as the delicious food! If you are looking for a stunning, all-inclusive venue, I would highly recommend Waldenwoods.

Waldenwoods was excellent the staff was very professional, very informative, and on top of things. Each person I spoke to was very kind and we were happy with our service! The food was great and the reception staff was also amazing.

Waldenwoods in Howell. This place was was amazing to work with! The food was amazing. We had a sweetheart table that was full of appetizers so we had a chance to have some and they checked in with us often. They answered all of my questions very quickly during planning and let us make the night our own. My only tiny, tiny complaint is they don’t keep in touch unless you reach out. We had no reminder on when payments where due or when to schedule our rehearsal and they do one tasting instead of a private one. Which I understand but because the menu is so big they don’t have everything to taste. Over all the staff was AMAZING!

This is a beautiful venue with so much to offer. My husband and I got married in front of the lake with our reception in the tent and many of our guests said it was one of the most elegant weddings they’ve been to! We were so blessed to be able to have our wedding here. Also, their food is SO good. Highly recommend.

Our wedding at Waldenwoods was amazing! All the planning was so easy, they have everything laid out for you. The days leading up, they were super helpful and made sure everything was perfect. Our guests LOVED the parmesan crusted chicken dish.

I loved working with Waldenwoods. They were very accommodating for everything we wanted for our wedding. They worked with us on a special brunch menu and that meant a lot to us. The food and service were excellent day of! They are definitely a venue that knows how to do weddings. Really everyone we had contact with (Janet, Ann, Courtney, and Amanda) was spectacular.

Waldenwoods made our wedding an absolute dream. Their team is amazing to work with, the food was wonderful (many guests said it was the best wedding meal they'd ever had!), and the on-site lodging was extremely valuable to us. It was so nice to work with an all-inclusive venue like Waldenwoods and not have to worry about catering, linens, reception extras, you name it--because Waldenwoods took care of all of it for us. They offer such a wide range of options and you are sure to find exactly what you want. We also had our rehearsal dinner there the night before and a celebration brunch the next morning! Plus, their lodges and property are absolutely stunning. Our wedding was in the winter and our guests were perfectly comfortable and loved the whole aesthetic and vibe of the venue. I would recommend Waldenwoods to anyone planning a wedding or event.

Waldenwoods was the perfect place for us to get married. First of all, the setting was amazing, with the lake and all the trees, as well as the beautiful character of the Cromaine Lodge with all its windows and lighted branches. All of the food was delicious, and there were so many great options to choose from when crafting the menu. They were so accommodating of dietary restrictions, even my vegan friend with a chickpea allergy (she said their vegan lasagna was amazing). Plus, their Personal Touch service is great so you can focus on yourself instead of setup, and no one has to stay late to clean up after the reception. They even have a fair amount of decor items that you can rent, which I hadn't seen elsewhere. Having onsite lodging was another bonus, although it is someone rustic, but we love that. We ended up renting one of the villas for the night before and night of the wedding. With its spiral staircase, fireplace, and indoor hottub, it was the perfect getaway and so convenient. Fair warning: there are multiple consultants working at this place, and they share a communal email address. You may not always be talking to the same person, so sometimes you have to remind them of details. The person who does your rehearsal also does your ceremony coordination, so there's at least that continuity. I kept notes and communicated mostly through email so it wasn't a big deal to me, but could be to some. Finally, the cost for this place was an amazing value, and I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes much more expensive as word gets out about how great their weddings are. We got so many compliments from our guests about how beautiful the venue is.

My husband and I were married here in October 2021 at the Cromaine Lodge. Venue is beautiful with a lakeside ceremony that was breath taking. The lodge had so much space, we had about 120 guests, and the dance floor was perfect! Food was fantastic and very accommodating for dietary restrictions and allergies. Both my husband and I and the bridal party got ready onsite which was something we both wanted.

Waldenwoods was the perfect venue. It is gorgeous - the lights, the wood, the fireplaces and the view. The lodge next door makes the venue perfect for your guests. The team at Waldenwoods made wedding planning SO easy. They are professionals for a reason!!

Overall a wonderful experience. Pros: 1. The Cromaine Lodge is beautiful and so is the outside ceremony site. 2. Very helpful the day of my wedding 3. Very friendly staff 4. Unique venue that was off the beaten path Negatives: 1. The Grooms room is a joke 2. Requires a minimum guest count even during COVID 3. Not very communicative pre-wedding

The venue was great at being flexible and allowing us to make the day what we wanted, and the answer to most of our questions was "yes." They were hard to get in contact with most of the time but email was the best way to get a response. We booked the Sunshine lodge for our guests, and almost every one of them had trouble reaching the venue to provide their credit card information and book the room. The voicemail was usually full so there was no way to leave one. Aside from that, they were really great to work with and made the day beautiful and everything we wanted it to be!

I cannot express how wonderful this venue is! They were so accommodating to all my needs and extremely helpful. The food was fantastic and the scenery amazing. Many guests told me it was the best wedding they’ve been too. If you booked them, you’re in good hands.

We had our wedding in the tent at Waldenwoods on 9/5/21 and could not have been happier with our choice. Everything from the setting to the food was amazing and exceeded our expectations. They really made the whole planning process, and the day itself, so easy. Amanda is a true professional and made sure everything was on track and ran smoothly.

Overall, our experience at Waldenwoods far exceeded our expectations and our wedding day was pretty perfect. We were blown away from the beginning with how well Waldenwoods was prepared to organize and execute beautiful weddings. From the initial meetings, to the very fancy and detailed tasting dinner, everything leading up to the wedding made things easy and stress-free. We were blown away by how much Waldenwoods was willing to work with us during the pandemic. They helped us reschedule our wedding twice due to the pandemic and there were no ramifications for this. In addition, Waldenwoods took other COVID precautions to make sure the guests felt safe. Some of my favorite things about getting married at Waldenwoods were the diverse options for reception add-ons to make the day extra special, such as the bridal cottage, outdoor ceremony, and beautiful decorations that came with the Cromaine Lodge. The property was beautifully maintained and getting married outside under the pergola was perfect. There were also a lot of great spots for a first look and bridal party/family pictures. Regarding the service, the staff did a wonderful job helping to ensure that the event ran smoothly, and they went above and beyond to make us feel well taken care of and special. Overall, the food was very good. In particular, we really liked the salad and appetizers. We appreciated how many choices there were when selecting entrée options. It was truly a day we will never forget, and we thank Waldenwoods for all they did to help us make this memory. There were a few things that we were disappointed about, and that we believe could be addressed to make the wedding experience of future couples extra special. During our ceremony, loud pop music could be heard playing out on the lake/beach. We were told that the staff was going to attend to this, but it never happened and created a distraction during the ceremony. We were also disappointed in the cleanliness of both the Cromaine Lodge and the Sunshine Lodge. It was clear when we showed up on Sunday for our wedding that not much was cleaned. The bridal cottage that we were getting ready in was very dirty and parts of the reception hall never got cleaned prior to our wedding start time. We felt very similarly about the Sunshine Lodge. Much of it was not clean and multiple guests reported problems with their room, including not being given the right key, burned out light bulbs, and uncleaned linens. check-in. There were a few issues with the dinner as well. Mostly, we felt that it took a long time to serve the food and the staff did not serve our prioritized tables first. Our parents were actually served last, despite that we indicated otherwise. We were told that there were not enough staff, which did not seem like a great excuse. We also felt like the portions were small, especially the chicken dish. Further, for guests with allergies they were not given a substitute food, rather they were just given less food. For instance, we had multiple guests with garlic and onion allergies; rather than make potatoes without garlic and onion, the chef did not give them any starch, which is not what we paid for.

Waldenwoods was perfect in every way. The venue is stunning. The staff seemed like longtime friends right away! Every phone call and question was handled with kindness. They covered every little detail. The food was absolutely delicious. The wedding ceremony and reception were flawless as the staff went above and beyond what we could have ever expected. Several guests also stayed in the lodge. I have no complaints whatsoever and nothing but gratitude for the phenomenal experience our family had using Waldenwoods. We highly recommend this venue.

After COVID switched up our plans multiple times... we reached out to Waldenwoods for our tiny, family only wedding. They worked so well with us through the changing restrictions and our now smaller budget. We worked out an amazing situation for a small number of guests and short number of hours. And wow was it great! I was disappointed that they left some of their vendor advertising pieces out in the bar room, but it was a small detail that I could let go. I was really just so thankful to have had Waldenwoods to pick up the pieces of our broken wedding dreams with only a month before our wedding day. The food was absolutely incredible (I was concerned about this with us not having time to do a tasting) but our family is still talking about how good it was! The service was also great and I appreciated how the wait staff was always checking in to see if we needed anything. Our day was really more than I could have ever hoped for and will forever be thankful for all that they did for us.

Had my bridal shower at waldenwoods and they did an amazing job! Easy to work with and had a beautiful space for us to have our party. The food and drinks were also excellent.

Mix of good and bad. The good: - Food was delicious - Did a great job with food/drink service, especially with keeping it safe during COVID-19 - Beautiful venue - tent looked stunning. The bad: - Poor customer service - often times our phone calls and emails were ignored, or when we did talk to someone we ended up having to call/talk again because the changes were never written down. Also the day of the ceremony the wouldn't come and clean the goose droppings from the outdoor site until guests were already being seated. - They lost some of our decorations that we were to pick up the next morning after the personal touch service.

The entire staff at Waldenwoods made my daughter’s wedding an amazing experience. They accommodated our short notice needs with professionalism and responsiveness. From the planners, to the guard shack greeters, to the chef, maintenance , and wait staff, we were so impressed. The food was great and the tent turned out to be such a special place to celebrate. The scenery made for a great view of the sunset and a backdrop for amazing photos & videos.

We had our ceremony and reception there. The staff was a pleasure to work with. They were timely with responses and very helpful. The site was perfect for what we were looking for, a little rustic with class. Their process for booking the sunshine lodge could use some work. Everyone at our wedding seemed to enjoy the food. We had a beautiful sunset to add to the ambiance. All in all, it was a great choice and I'd recommend it.

Our experience at Waldenwoods was above and beyond what we could have imagined. We had our reception in the Cromaine Lodge on 12/21/2019. The staff is attentive, creative, and kind. They were able to accommodate and creatively problem-solve during our planning process. The wedding day was flawless. The room beautifully decorated and arranged. The food was INCREDIBLE and our vegan guests even loved their entrees. The wait staff was friendly, efficient, and professional. I would highly recommend Waldenwoods! Their attention to detail, professionalism, and quality of service makes them stand out!

We had our wedding with Waldenwoods on October 5, 2019 and our experience was nothing short of amazing. During the planning stages, the office always got back to me within a day of me emailing or calling with a full answer. They were all so flexible on any questions or concerns that we had about the venue and really rolled with the punches. On wedding day, they were so supportive and made sure everything went smoothly and that my husband and I didn’t have to worry about anything! The wait staff were also amazing in the fact that they made sure that we had food and drink all night since we were so busy with our guests. My advice? Spend the extra money for the “personal touch” service, where Waldenwoods sets up and tears down all of your decor - SO worth it. My main complaint? This was just as much on me, but I never asked who the main contact person was for the night. This wasn’t a huge deal, but at one point my videographer had a question and I had NO clue who to direct him to. Seriously, book with Waldenwoods - you won’t regret it!!!!!

Our experience at Waldenwoods could not have been more perfect. The scenery was magical, and the staff was so kind and accommodating. They made planning so easy, and the day of the wedding was coordinated by the staff so well. Everyone was patient, considerate and incredibly helpful. We are thrilled with the experience we had with our wedding at Waldenwoods! For us the location was perfect for accessibly for our families out of the Flint and Detroit area, and the size of the hall was perfect for our guest count (about 200). Waldenwoods is a great venue for a cozy, homey vibe, and having the ceremony and reception at the same location was incredibly convenient for us and our families. The staff is willing to work with you to make sure the day goes the way you want it to go. The food and bar service is another huge plus as we had numerous compliments from our guests saying how much they enjoyed it.

We fell in love with Waldenwoods because of 1. the view - absolutely gorgeous with the lake, 2. because of the rustic feel it gave - fit our theme, and 3. because of the decoration that they already did we didn't have to do too much decoration - which saved some money! We were a little worried about the food being "slow and cold" but the staff did a great job of making sure everyone was served in a timely manner. We even had a mishap with a meal that was served (individual needed a gluten free meal - the vegetarian meal was not gluten free) and the manager had the kitchen staff make the individual a meal that fit their dietary needs. How awesome is that!

Hands down the best venue we could have ever dealt with. The entire staff was great! From the planning (and the millions of questions we had for them) to the actual wedding itself we couldn’t have asked for better people to deal with then those who work at Waldenwoods! We had our wedding at Cromaine Hall - which is beautiful! We got so many compliments on how beautiful the building is! Would definitely highly recommend!

We chose Waldenwoods as our venue primarily because the Cromaine room was so beautiful, fit our personalities and in general was amazing. We loved that we hardly had to make any decorations. The lake setting for the ceremony was also incredible. We also chose Waldenwoods because of the on-site lodgings that were available to our many out of town guests. The employees at the venue were on top of things and were fine with us upgrading our bar to be only craft beer. Anne, the owner, was great, and we appreciated how she had all of the details handled at our final details meeting. The event coordinators had everything taken care of at our rehearsal and day of, so everything worked very smoothly at the ceremony. The food was fine, but the tasting process was really disappointing. There is just one tasting per year and it was too close to our wedding date to decide our food before ordering our invitations. Additionally we really didn’t get to taste very many options at the tasting. Only a few things we had at our wedding we had tried beforehand. Some other things were frustrating along the way: we were often asked the same questions several times throughout the planning process, such as if we wanted the top tier of our cake saved. We also had issues getting the keys to the lodges the Friday before the wedding. That experience was really stressful but eventually worked out. Overall it was a pricey venue, but really beautiful.

I loved this venue the second we stepped foot inside but wow does it blow you away on wedding day! The Wedding Coordinator staff were amazing and made my venue look better then I ever could have imagined. We had a winter wedding with the fireplaces lit and snow on the lake (pictures look amazing). All our guests kept commenting on how beautiful the Cromaine Lodge is. Our guests also loved the Friendship and Sunshine Lodges they were able to stay at on site! Wouldn't have changed a thing!

Attended a wedding at Waldenwoods this past weekend in the Cromaine Lodge. The setting was beautiful and the food was delicious. However, I am writing this review from a wheelchair access perspective and unfortunately, it was terrible. My husband is in a manual wheelchair and there was no clear ramp access into the building. There were paved walkways but each one we found ended with one or two steps = NOT WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE! All guests had to climb a flight of stairs to use the regular restrooms (this is also an issue) but my husband had to go into a cramped corner "wheelchair accessible" bathroom that is located inside the kitchen (which was extremely busy as they were catering the wedding we were attending). Several waiters had to lift their trays of food over his head so he could wheel into the bathroom as they were leaving the kitchen! My husband has been in a wheelchair for 14 years, we know from first-hand experience that older venues are not perfect when it comes to wheelchair access. However, there is no excuse for the lack of accessibility at this popular award-winning wedding venue. The American's with Disabilities Act was passed in 1990, and I find it hard to believe that Waldenwoods has not managed to find sufficient budget in 29 years to create a small accessible entrance and wheelchair friendly bathrooms (even two would be great) for wedding guests. I have never left this type of review and we are not lawsuit-type people either, I just felt these issues had to be pointed out, especially after I noticed Waldenwoods has wheelchair access checked off as a venue feature. I strongly disagree! Thank you.

o Overall, our experience working with Waldenwoods was positive. The space truly is beautiful and the staff is very experienced. Our ceremony and reception took place in the Cromaine Lodge with no break in between. After the ceremony, the Waldenwoods staff efficiently arranged a photo of all the guests outside the lodge. While everyone was outside, the staff removed all the chairs and made the space ready for cocktail hour in under 5 minutes. It really showed their coordination and experience on our big day. Across the board the food was amazing, from the appetizers to the entrees. Every guest said they loved their meal. Also arranging the specifics of our wedding was a breeze. Whenever we called or emailed, we received a prompt response from their staff. We also received an updated contract within hours of any changes to our guest list or services provided. The overall price per plate was a good deal considering everything that was included in our baseline package. Some of the add ons (white glove service, upgraded bar package, chair covers, etc.) did seem a bit pricey, but I think that can be said for almost every wedding venue so it did not bother us. Our only major complaint was how Waldenwoods handles on site housing. If a bride and groom want to reserve the friendship lodge, they need to arrange their guests’ room assignments. Considering the money required to reserve the lodge, we struggled to understand why a bride and groom were required to take on the responsibility of hotel manager and concierge. On top of all the standard wedding planning, this really added on a lot of unwanted work and stress. We would have been much happier if Waldenwoods included this in the services they provided. Additionally, some of our relatives had a difficult time getting into the cottage they had reserved. They arrived late on Friday night, before the wedding on Saturday. When they arrived at the front gate, no one was at the gate to meet them. When they called the front desk several times, no one picked up the phone. They had to lift up the gate themselves in order to enter the grounds. Unfortunately, there was not much clear signage or good lighting so they had to drive around for 20-30 minutes before they were able to find their cottage. It would have been very helpful to have someone on site who could direct them to the cottage like they said there would be. So overall, the staff and management were amazing and we were very happy with their services and professionalism throughout our interactions. When it comes to on site housing, there is definitely room for improvement.

I simply can’t say enough good things about Waldenwoods! The day my husband and I went to tour Waldenwoods, we instantly knew they had found their dream venue. We wanted to find a wedding venue that was on the water and would allow our friends and family to stay on site overnight, so Waldenwoods was everything we were looking for and more. PLUS, the entire staff at this beautiful venue is absolutely amazing!!

such a beautiful place. the cromaine building has its own ambiance and you really do not need to decorate that much. everyone is EXTREMELY helpful and nice. we had many Vegans and friends with special dietary needs and they were able to make food for everyone. highly recommended 👌

We had our ceremony and reception at the Cromaine Lodge venue. It was absolutely STUNNING. The rustic elegance of the reception venue was the back bone of our entire event, and marrying my best friend under their pergola made for the best memories and photos. It is so picturesque and you can just feel the history while you're walking around the grounds. We really enjoyed the Sunshine lodge after the wedding too, we invited our bridal party and a couple close friends to stay with us on site with us. It was one of the best parts of the night being able to just take a short walk to the lodge and spend more time with our loved ones. Their staff was also top notch. So impressed by this venue!

Best day ever! Thanks so much to the entire Waldenwoods staff for being so sweet from start to finish. We had the absolute time of our lives at this gorgeous venue. Anne and the girls in the office were wonderful throughout the entire planning process; answering questions in a timely manner, accommodating requests, making changes and updates to our contract and more. The day of staff were all super helpful and lovely as well. We couldn’t have picked a better location for a fall wedding with the orange-red trees all around us, the lake backdrop and a breathtaking sunset- it was the most memorable day of our lives. We fell in love with Waldenwoods the first time we saw it. We knew immediately we wanted our October wedding at that location. It is beautiful inside and out. Like a lodge in the woods by the lake but without having to travel far north to have it. The staff were great and very helpful. They were very flexible with our requests including making a dairy free menu. Highly recommended.
