We truly could not have picked a more perfect venue for our wedding day! The venue itself was absolutely gorgeous and created the most beautiful atmosphere for our day. Every part of the property was stunning and our guests could not stop complimenting it all night long!
The staff was also AMAZING from start to finish. Everyone was so kind, helpful, professional, and genuinely cared about making sure everything went smoothly.
A special shoutout to Jennica because she was an absolute dream to work with! She was so sweet, welcoming, organized, and made the entire planning process feel so much less stressful. You can truly tell how much she cares about her couples and their experience.

Top notch venue with seriously the best service. The services at Walnut Ridge cannot be matched. They are seriously great!! All questions are answered in a timely fashion and the vendor goes above and beyond to help you with your wedding day from start to finish. Working with Walnut Ridge helped make wedding planning so stress-free and seamless when it came to the wedding day. This venue has both indoor and outdoor areas to use along with great getting ready suites, not to forget how gorgeous the whole place is. Cannot express enough how great this venue is and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a venue in 2024 and beyond!!

Walnut Ridge is a beautiful modern wedding venue located in Shellsburg, IA. This spacious place promises to be a stylish, versatile setting for your and your partner's wedding.
Owners decided to create Walnut Ridge after their own wedding. Inspired by the joy of planning their special day and seeing others gather to celebrate, they wanted to set up their own wedding venue. Set on picturesque grounds with walnut trees, prairie grass, native wildflowers, and waterfront views, Walnut Ridge is intended to be a private spot outside the city. It makes the perfect countryside escape for couples to enjoy their celebration.
With an elegant modern barn, Walnut Ridge has an indoor event space, as well as a covered cocktail patio. 100-250 of your closest friends and family can be accommodated indoors. The venue features a floor-to-ceiling steel fireplace and large black glass garage doors that will open to show the beautiful countryside surroundings. An array of services and amenities will be available to help couples make the most of their special day. A round table, banquet tables, black chairs, and linens will be provided. There is two preparation suites, one in the loft and one on the lower level, where couples can prepare for the day. Caterers can make use of the prep kitchen, and a bar area where delicious drinks can be made and served. The venue will also offer setup, tear-down, and end-of-event cleaning services.

That's why we wanted to try something new and expand our careers! This year, our dreams finally came true. We created Walnut Ridge, a private spot away from the city. We can't wait to meet with you and help plan your special day!
