Wanderlust Bridal opened in 2018 with the desire to make brides feel their absolute best on their wedding day.
We have been voted "Best of Weddings" multiple years since opening.
We are an on-site team of freelance hair and makeup artists based out of West Chester, Ohio.
We come to you! We do have a 4 person per service minimum, but we can accommodate parties in salon as well!
Our artists are constantly educating themselves on the best products to use and advancing their skills. They attend classes as well as take online education. They are trained in skill and sanitation regularly.
Wanderlust has traveled to Florida, Colorado, Indiana, Kentucky and Tennesse to do bridal hair and makeup. Contact us for more information on traveling.

Would definitely recommend Wanderlust Bridal! Kelsi and Alysia were so fun and easy to work with. They made everyone feel beautiful!
Let me start with my makeup artist Tara was absolutely amazing and made me feel so special on my wedding day! There were some things that for these reasons I would never book with wanderlust bridal again for. For one if you want to be able to talk to your makeup artist you better just forget it. The owner of the business talks to all the brides and then passes messages on to the artist and I do not believe the artist was informed about something’s that were going on! I also missed a makeup session due to some things at work she wanted me to pay 85 bucks for a session I never got. I didn’t feel like my voice was being heard when I had said I wanted to try something new and different from my first trial which I feel like a lot of brides decide to change their mind about things come closer to their wedding. Not only that I didn’t receive my makeup kit for the day to touch up my makeup. My makeup artist did apologize and felt awful for the situation and but it wasn’t her fault she had tried to reach out to the owner multiple times to get me the things I needed for my touch up kit. So I paid for a service I didn’t even received on my wedding day! I just wouldn’t book with this company ever again I would book with my artist again she was wonderful but never threw this company. I also felt like my voice as a bride wasn’t being heard and was definitely disappointed I would definitely choose another company if you want your voice to be heard and for you not to have to stress about small things such as your makeup closer to your wedding day I would just stay clear.

I first and foremost want to apologize about the touch up kit, I was under the impression our artists all had them. If I had I known you absolutely would’ve received one.

That is solely on me.
You were charged the no show fee for the second trial as we discussed via email prior to your day. However, our artist did not collect that fee from you. She only collected day of services. We were told over an hour after the appointment was scheduled to begin that you would not be coming. We do have a no show fee as outlined in the contract. We were unable to reschedule as it was just over a week out for your day and unfortunately I was on vacation and the artist was unable to come in on any other day. I tried everything to get a secondary location, but the artist was unable to get off from her full time job the days I was able to find another location.
All notes were absolutely relayed to our artist. We have an app where they’re all uploaded and documented for the artists to check.
I’m so sorry you feel this way and so sorry for the experience you had. This was never my intention.

This company came through at the last minute as we had a cancelation that almost cost us the whole day. They were so professional, kind, empathetic to the situation and made the day exactly as we planned
Wanderlust bridal is an amazing & talented company! I highly recommend them to anyone in search of a fun, loving, caring group of artists. I was a bridesmaids in a wedding, Taylor did my hair & Kelsi did my makeup phenomenally. They made me feel so beautiful all night long; my hair & makeup lasted all night and was so impressed with their advance skills! I am looking forward to working with them in future for my wedding. 10/10 experience!!

This team was top tier! Not only did they make me feel beautiful on the best day of my life, but helped me remain calm as the nerves kicked in. I couldn’t imagine this day with any other team. THANK YOU!
When I chose Wanderlust for hair and make-up for my March 23rd wedding, I started going to Taylor for hair cut/color as well (3 times for hair color, once for hair cut). 3 months before my wedding, I wanted a trim and told her that I wanted my bangs to still be long enough to braid (I didn't even show an inspiration photo because it was supposed to be that minimal). Taylor completely changed my hair and gave me short bangs, when I didn't even have bangs before. While she did comp the hair cut, she then made light of it by saying, "Now your bangs will grow out and be the length you actually wanted by the time of your wedding!" (No, I cried for weeks about having unwanted bangs for my bridal showers and bachelorette party). With the wedding being 3 months away though, I didn't think I had enough time to find another company for hair and make-up, though in hindsight I wish I would have. During all of my appointments with Taylor, she would consistently complain about other clients and vendors that she's worked with, which is so uncomfortable and unprofessional. When Taylor first sent me the hair and make-up schedule, some of the times were wrong, and after I had spent a lot of time assigning each girl to a number, I noticed that she had left out one hair and one make-up spot - so it all had to be redone. At the bridal trial (and on the wedding day!), Kelsi did a great job on the make-up - she noted the changes that I wanted between the trial and the wedding, and took pictures to document that. Taylor seemed to note the changes that I wanted for my hair, but did not take any pictures. On the wedding day, my hair looked different from the trial, and she seemed frustrated when I respectfully asked for certain parts of it to be changed (when she asked my opinion!). Taylor seemed to think I was difficult for expressing an opinion. I really wanted to like Taylor and her services, as she was referred to me by my best friend, but the communication issues, lack of professional behavior, and difficulty with following clients' requests for their hair are notable. While I still thanked her and tipped her, I hope that other brides and clients are more informed moving forward.

The schedule was a headache and I thank you so much...
for bringing that to my attention. It really showed me how much work that added to you, and that’s the opposite of what the schedule was meant to do. Thank you for all of your advice on how to make it easier, we have implemented that for brides going forward. The numbers definitely get confusing.
There was miscommunication about the number of services because as a company we count the bride in the total number of services and you did not include yourself in your count. I should’ve clarified before making the schedule & also let you know that’s how we total numbers to avoid that. That’s why 1 hair and 1 makeup was missing.
We allowed you to add additional add on for hair even though our policy says we’re unable to do so 30 days before the event. We did even add another add on for hair the day of the services. Unfortunately we did not have time to get to the bridesmaid who had asked the week of the wedding, I so wish we could’ve.
As I also explained when looking for the photos, I had a very unfortunate situation where I had to get a new phone the day before your wedding and my photos were every where as my cloud had not downloaded yet.
I did take pictures, I could not find them. I should’ve had them somewhere just in case, but that was a learning experience for myself. Unfortunately that did leave me without a picture to reflect from the trial.
Your hair did look different the day of because I adjusted what we discussed as well as I also mentioned bringing some of the hair back so that in photos the back of your hair was still beautiful and you agreed. That hair being removed from the front did take away from how much was up front.
I also was not frustrated with you, I repeatedly had you check to see if what you were seeing was fixed. I unfortunately was struggling with 1 single piece of hair that was not curling correctly because of what appeared to be some kinks. I tried every trick I know and was feeling very defeated because I know you’d been unhappy from day 1. I apologize my frustration appeared to be with you. It was just that single strand of hair that I could not figure out how to make blend when it would not cooperate.
I am so happy you loved Kelsi. She is one of the best.
We never discussed clients or vendors I’ve worked with. We discussed the mutual friend who is my client and I discussed with you the vendors we chose not to book for my own upcoming wedding. It was never anything to slander any businesses or talk bad about clients. I am sorry it came across differently, and I’m sorry you were uncomfortable.
Now with the salon service. I do recall seeing inspiration photos.
I did say thankfully we are far enough away from the wedding they can grow. I was not making light of any situation, I was trying to reassure you that it would be fine come the big day.
I did not word it that insensitively and it really wasn’t coming from a bad place.
I know that was incorrect to say now and not comforting. I am sorry it came across insensitive.
I do wish I would’ve let you know you were able to find other vendors once I noticed the frustration on your end. I should’ve addressed it as well.
This has been a huge lesson on my end and I apologize you feel our service is inadequate due to it.
Nonetheless, I wish you nothing but happiness within your marriage. You did make a gorgeous bride and I hope you feel that way when you look at the photos.
Myself, my bridesmaids, my mother and mother in-law all had our hair and makeup done by Wanderlust. They did an absolutely amazing job on everyone’s hair and makeup! They were very professional, personable, and fairly priced. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing hair or makeup done!
I had Vernise as my makeup artist for myself and my bridal party for my wedding. She did a great job on everyone’s make up and was very efficient on wedding morning. The whole process of booking Wanderlust was very easy including scheduling a trial and they assist with determining a start time in order to get everyone’s services done on time. Highly recommend!
Kelsi and Taylor were everything and more I could ask for on my special day. They made me look like a beautiful bride would highly recommend to anyone
The ladies with Wanderlust Bridal are AMAZING! My best friend used them for all hair and makeup needs in her wedding in April… so naturally, I had to use them too since they’re so awesome! These ladies came into my home to do our hair and makeup, making us feel so comfortable, not to mention after talking with them, you’ll feel like you’ve known them for YEARS! I got SOOO many compliments at our wedding over both my hair and makeup, Tara and Alysia crushed it. Taylor and Kiki were there as well, making sure my girls looked flawless! Could not recommend them enough! 🤍
I had my wedding back in August. I had a really hard time finding a reasonably priced salon. But wanderlust bridal was perfect! I had Hannah P do my hair and Kelsi do my makeup. They did an absolute incredible job! We didn’t have a whole lot of time (which was my fault) and they got done with everyone right on time. They did 3 of my bridesmaids hair/makeup, my mom’s hair/makeup and my mother in laws hair (pictures provided). Even though I was out of state, Hannah went out of her way to make sure I had a hair trial before. I wasn’t expected her to provide that on such short notice given I live out of state and was only going to be in town the week of my wedding. It meant so much to me that she was willing to squeeze me in for that. Hannah and Kelsi were both responsive, on time, and were incredible to work with. I would recommend them 100 million times. They really brought my vision to life and I was so incredible happy with how my hair and makeup turned out. Out of all of the vendors, Hannah and Kelsi were the most pleasurable to work with. Thank you Hannah and Kelsi! You both are the best. Please please please consider Wanderlust Bridal, they were wonderful!
Taylor and Kelsi were wonderful!! My bridesmaids and I received endless compliments on our hair and makeup, and everything looked gorgeous all day. Communication was great the whole time, and it was clear from the beginning that they truly want you to feel your most beautiful. Getting ready was so much fun, and they left me feeling so confident and celebrated!
Taylor, Ellie, and their crew were AMAZING with getting me and my girls ready for my wedding. I was nervous about having so many bridesmaids and moms to get ready but everything was so seamless. It was one less thing this bride had to stress about! They made the morning of so much fun and it was so convenient to get ready at our venue. Planning an out of town wedding proved to be difficult, and I’m so glad I found my beauty vendor so easily. Their open communication, personalized approach, and professionalism was so appreciated. Couldn’t have imagined my wedding day without them. Wanderlust Bridal was perfect and I can’t recommend them enough!!!
Taylor and Alysia did amazing on our hair. We had a small space to get everybody ready in and Taylor and Alysia figured it out with no problem. They are so talented!❤️
I had my bridal makeup and hair done by Wanderlust Bridal for my wedding, as well as for my mother and my bridesmaids and flower girls. We worked with Alysia and Taylor for hair, and Vernise and Kelsi for makeup, and all of the stylists were top notch. We all felt absolutely pampered the entire morning and looked absolutely flawless. I loved that they took time with each person talking and getting to know them during the process.
Hands down would absolutely recommend this team for your bridal look! You will be met with some amazing hardworking artists and come out looking amazing!
Taylor and her other artist were great! They did everything we asked for. Very clean, professional, and friendly. When a slight time issue came up day of wedding, Taylor made sure to text me to assure me everything would still be done on time, and even brought another artist with her to work on hair at no extra cost. Highly recommend!!
Thank you so very much for such an amazing experience! Your team was exceptional - start to finish- for my daughter-in-law and her bridal party. Everyone looked like models and got tons of compliments on how beautiful they were. When the bride was unsure of her makeup after her trial, you listened and made adjustments that made her feel extraordinary. On top of that- hair & makeup held up for the 6+ hours of an outdoor wedding and looked as fresh at the end as at the beginning.

The two girls (Whitney and Ellie) did a great job, we’re super prompt the day of, and we’re really kind when a few of us needed touch ups. I was a little nervous at the trial, because they accidentally double booked my original trial day, but the owner was quick to fix her mistake and actually found a more convenient day for me to come in.

The Wanderlust Bridal team traveled to our venue & was set up and ready to start by the time we got there to get ready. They were able to recreate everyone’s looks based on inspiration pictures. Myself & everyone else that got their hair/makeup done was beyond impressed with the services received.
Hired for wedding makeup. Kelsi did my makeup and one of my bridesmaids. We both looked amazing!
Kelsi was super sweet and professional. At my trial she not only asked to see what I had been saving for look inspiration but also how much makeup I normally wear so she could be sure to do a look that would not be off-putting by feeling like too much.
Overall working with this salon was a great experience and I cannot recommend them enough.
I loved my makeup and my artist was a doll! That is the most important thing. There is only one reason I would hesitate to contract Wanderlust again if I were to do it all over—we had 4 people getting makeup done (bride, mom, maid of honor, flower girl) and were unable to get everyone full-faced in 5 hours. Wanderlust set the start time, and it sounded too early to me at first, but now I wish we’d started sooner! I did a bridal trial as well.
For future bridal parties, especially since there is a 4-person minimum for services, I would recommend Wanderlust offer a second artist so nobody feels rushed.

Taylor and Kelsi were our artists on my wedding day and they did the most incredible job on both my bridesmaids and me! I had a trial with them before my wedding and they listened very carefully to my feedback and even offered me another free trial to get things just right. The day of my wedding, Kelsi and Taylor did EXACTLY what I had envisioned for myself. I have never felt so pretty in my life and my hair and makeup lasted literally 12 hours, even through tons of dancing and sweating. The amount of compliments I got on my hair was insane and my makeup looked so natural and perfect. Kelsi and Taylor both have great personalities and are super fun to work with. I will recommend them to everyone!
Taylor and Ellie were the absolute best team we could have asked for! They finished all our hair and makeup in enough time for us to relax and take pictures prior to getting dressed while still maintaining beautiful work! They checked with us throughout the process to make sure we loved how we looked and were just so encouraging throughout the whole process. I would 100% recommend them for your wedding! We were so happy to have them on our special day!
We were so happy with Wanderlust. They were flexible when we needed to adjust our timeline. Taylor was especially great at helpful indecisive bridesmaids decide how to do their hair. I would highly recommend them to anyone!
Unfortunately I didn’t get the great experience everyone else leaving reviews on here did. I went for a hair/makeup trial and I told Taylor I didn’t like my hair curled, I wanted waves. She curled it anyways. The actual style was great, aside from me asking her not to do curls and her ignoring it… The makeup I received from Kelsi looked nothing like the pictures I showed her or like any of these other pictures on here. I wanted full eyebrows, a smoky amber/nude eyeshadow, and a natural glow all over the face (i.e. not caked with numerous products.) What I got were thin unshaped lines for brows, unblended harsh lines of eyeshadow that made me look like a drag Queen, and caked foundation, concealer, plus heavy bronzing that I said I didn’t want, that all started creasing and cracking the minute I left. It looked fine inside the salon. When I sat down in my car in natural sunlight to head to my engagement photos, I looked in the mirror, I called my fiancé, I cried, then went home and wiped my face clean to start over and do my engagement photo makeup myself. Sad part is that I had a lot of fun at the appointment, the girls were all funny, friendly, and easy to vibe with. But I could not vibe with that service. Feels like maybe they didn’t put in as much effort because I don’t have a bridal party, just myself and my daughter. Guess it’s not much for them to profit from. I’m sorry to have to leave this honest review.

me time before your photo shoot, and we understand that sometimes makeup intended to look good in pictures can look different from our clients daily makeup intended to look good to the naked eye. We absolutely never rush a service because of the size of a bridal party, we aren’t a corporation here for profit. We are human beings trying to make other humans feel good on important days of their lives. Im so sorry you didn’t feel comfortable communicating to us that you were unhappy the day of your service, good luck on your vendor search and we hope you have the best wedding day 🙂
I called Wanderlust 2 weeks before my wedding because I had a scheduling conflict with my original hair stylist... Although they had no availability, Taylor put in so much effort to reach out to people outside of her business to make sure that I was taken care of on my big day. She literally had no incentive to do this for me, but she went above and beyond! I am so incredibly grateful for her and the work she put in without receiving anything in return. I don't know the quality of their hair services, but their customer service and dedication deserves a 100/10!

The ladies at Wanderlust Bridal are fabulous! Katie did the bridesmaids hair and Kelsey + Taylor did their makeup. It was exactly what the ladies asked for and we all looked amazing for my wedding day! Taylor is my regular hairstylist and her ladies did a great job !
Taylor and Ellie were punctual and professional. They did an amazing job getting hair done for 10 girls and makeup done for 6 and even had time to spare! Everyone was so beautiful!
Wanderlust Bridal was absolutely amazing to work with! Taylor and Ellie were both great to work with the day of our wedding. They made sure everyone was happy with their hair and makeup and were very attentive to what we wanted. Reasonably priced too! I highly recommend these talented young ladies!

Taylor and Ellie totally nailed my wedding day! At first, I was doubtful after my trial. Not because of anything Taylor did wrong, but because I tried an updo, hopeful that it would work, but knowing I don’t like updos on myself. I ended up coming back to Taylor and she was not only super nice after I had first turned her down, but reassured me we would find something I loved. On my wedding day, after just talking about how I’ve never happy cried...I happy cried. I LOVED it! It was even better than I hoped for! My bridesmaids and mother also looked perfect! Make up as well! I’m also now using Taylor regularly with my hair 😊
Taylor is AMAZING!! She did of total of 8 people’s hair the day of my wedding, and she did an incredible job. Definitely exceeded my expectations. Everyone looked so beautiful. Taylor is just hands down amazing. She worked on my hair color for 6 solid hours then the day of my wedding came and did all my bridal party and moms hair. She was amazing, she’s so personable while she’s doing what she does and the outcome was enough to bring us all to tears.
Taylor and Ellie did an amazing job on my wedding day. They travelled to my sisters house and were very organized. They listened to each of us for what we wanted and they made me so beautiful for my wedding. I really loved my hair style, and my makeup lasted absolutely all night long (even on a hot day in June). Taylor was amazing! She traveled to Dayton for my wedding and she did my hair, as well as my 5 bridesmaids. All of our hair was done in a timely fashion, and she made it enjoyable and fun! She is very versatile and cares about your opinion, she made me look gorgeous for my special day! I would recommend her to anyone, and I am going to make her my usual hair stylist now after how wonderful she was for my wedding. Thank you for making my special day perfect!

Taylor did the hair for myself, my 6 bridesmaids, and my mom for my wedding! She did an absolutely spectacular job! Not only was she able to get it all done with plenty of time to spare, but she was also so fun to work with! She clearly is amazing at doing hair, but she also is thoughtful and made each of us a goodie bag with extra hair spray and pins in case we needed a touch up! We had a huge variety of hair types, and she did great with every single one! Thank you Taylor for being such a big part of my special day! ❤️

Taylor was the stylist for a bridal party i was in over the summer. She was so friendly and every single one of us looked and felt beautiful. She worked quickly and efficiently. I even started going to her as my stylist! She’s so fun and personable! Definitely recommend!

My mother was a single mother so as a young girl I went to work with her often. She worked at a nursing home where I met a patient named Rose. Her & I used to play "beauty shop" in the nursing homes salon. One day when I was combing her hair she told me how pretty I made her feel and I always made her day. That's when it clicked, I could make a lifestyle where people's days are made simply because I made them feel comfortable and beautiful in their own skin.
From their my passion for beauty began. I graduated in 2013 and have opened 2 businesses since. I couldn't imagine doing anything else!
