Waterford at Springfield

The Waterford is a great place to hold a reception!! Kevin was so nice and so easy to work with and made the planning go so smoothly. There were able to accommodate my reception of 212 people! The set-up was gorgeous and I was truly pleased. They also allowed us to bring our favors in that Wednesday before and set them up for us as well!! They were also the best priced in the area for what we got!! I would highly recommend them to other people! They helped make our day spectacular!

Before I booked this venue, I had read a google review that warned me that another wedding could be taking place at the same time as mine and that they tend to clear the dinner service early. Even with that warning, I booked the Waterford, but unfortunately I did experience those two things as well. They helped to make the planning process go pretty well, but it was the service during the wedding that I was not thrilled with. I was told the tables and centerpieces would be set up by 11 am the day of the wedding, but when we arrived to set up, only the tables were set up. After waiting a couple of hours for set up to be completed by the Waterford, the bridesmaids and family had to finish the set up because time was running out. I was told that the plated dinner service could be delivered in 30 minutes, which I needed to do because my photographer was leaving before the wedding ended. The dinner service ended up taking almost 2 hours, and lucky for me my photographer was willing to work with me. In the end, I had a beautiful wedding and the Waterford was a nice bang for my buck. I would only recommend this venue for a friend having a wedding on a budget. If you can afford to go somewhere else, I would suggest that.

From the moment I walked in and met with the staff at the Waterford we knew this was were we should host our wedding events, ceremony and reception! The floor plan, design, professional staff, and other services that were provided made our day so memorable; my husband and I will never forget it! Not to mention, the venue was so much more cost effective than other venues in this area. You'll definitely get so much more for your money! Maximum flexibility on payments, which was so great! The staff was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. The decoration were wonderful and incredible. Everyone was amazed at how beautiful our venue looked, particularly with the overhead swag and elegance. We were impressed with how quickly and efficiently everyone worked to set up and take down the room from ceremony to reception. The Waterford went above and beyond our expectation. Thank you so much!!!

Waterford did a great job. We could not be more pleased with how our wedding went. They were so conscientious of our needs throughout the entire night, treating us and our guests like royalty. The food was amazing, and we got so many compliments. From our very first experience with them, the staff was knowledgeable and attentive. I would recommend Waterford to anyone I know. They made our wedding the best night of our lives!

We had our wedding reception at the Waterford. They were very easy to work with every step of the way. The food was great - my favorite was the Virginia chicken - and the service was too! I would definitely recommend them!

Well, many thanks to Chef Mark!Food was absolutely great. But if I had this food with great preparation the Waterford promised me they would set up tables and banquet hall as I asked, I would have had a great wedding. As a bride, when I walked into the banquet Hall 30 minutes before my ceremony, nothing was ready. I had to run and asked people who work there what is going on. Can you imagine a bride on a wedding dress and running around in Banquet hall? They promised me they are going to set up the tables and banquet hall the way I wanted, obviously, that never happened and they never kept their words. And the staffs showed me their attitude as I was the uninvited to this banquet. Even the manager had the worst manner toward her client. The bridal waiting room was ours until 7Pm (they offered two hours of usage of the Bridal waiting room), the manager showed up around 5:15pm and asked us to empty the room. And I asked her why. She said another bride has to use this room. I told her I had a contract that I can use this room for two hours. she stood there in front of me, rolled her eyes and shook her head. At that point, my wedding day was ruined. I didn't pay closed to $20,000.00 to get this attitude. Following Monday, I emailed the director told her about it. She just said sorry and there was no action follow. I don't know where to turn and complain about this. I want adjustment of this not well treated service. The wedding day is the most important day for everybody, especailly for a bride and groom. My wedding in Waterford did not turn out as I have imagined. Please, try not to get married or have reception in Waterford(Springfield) unless you don't have a place to choose.

The Waterford knows what they are doing! They relieved so much of my stress and I knew that everything was in good hands! On the day of my wedding things went so smoothly and they treated us like royalty, leaving no detail out! Also, they have set package prices which include absolutely everything so you know EXACTLY where your money is going!

Saul, Mike and the whole gang at the Waterford are amazing! We did a specialty menu to really show our personality (so don't be fooled by the packages Mike definately knows how to think outside the box!!)The rooms they offer are great! allowing for different set ups and arrangements to meet your parties needs! They were nice enough to stay late for us when the wedding didn't go as planned due to mother nature and a missing officiant. The team at the Waterford went above and beyond and I'm so thankful!

One of my very important guests upon leaving my wedding reception told me "this was the best reception I've been to in a long time!" Well since that was not all my doing I had to write this review. I held my wedding reception at the Waterford at Springfield in April 2010! From the day I signed with them until my wedding day they were 100% involved in my event. Any time I called or e-mailed with questions I was quickly responded to with helpful,accurate information. We got to sit down and taste different foods in order to pick the best meal. We met with staff to go over everything for the big event. Not one detail was overlooked! Every idea I had them brought to life. The food was amazing, the space is beautiful, the staff is the best out there, and the price is reasonable for everything it includes. When compared to other venues/caters/etc. that it would have taken to complete my ideas, the Waterford was the best pick! I encourage everyone who is looking for a great reception (or even wedding) site to consider the Waterford! You will not be disappointed!
