WATERS EDGE AND THEIR STAFF ARE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! We had our wedding there and cannot recommend their venue and their service enough! It was absolutely beautiful and the staff are great at communicating, especially Monica. They helped make my special day seamless. Cannot recommend them enough!

The whole process with Water's Edge was so seamless! My husband and I loved what we saw on paper about Water's Edge, but seeing it in person sealed the deal. From start to finish, the team was extremely accommodating, communicative, flexible, and overall pleasant. They have very little "rules" when it comes to vendors, catering, etc. That was huge for us. We were able to create our day in a way that made a lot of sense for us and have a lot of freedom in the process, as opposed to be limited in our options. The venue is absolutely BEAUTIFUL and so elegant - but not overly! The bar service was top-notch on our day. We received so many compliments about the service and the beautiful outdoor porch. This venue truly has it all! And it is affordable, too, for everything you get with it. We sincerely recommend Water's Edge to any couples looking for a wedding and/or reception venue. No complaints!

The Venue was wonderful. Our event planner was ver thorough went went above and beyond to accommodate our special requests. She also came through last minute to help coordinate the drop off and pick up from the party rentals. I highly recommend this beautiful venue.

Water's Edge was extremely flexible with a few of our requests. They answered all questions quickly. One of our guest enjoyed our wedding so much that they booked them for another party. They kept the space clean and helped the night move smoothly.

Waters Edge has one of the most beautiful golf courses in MO! Not only are the workers extremely helpful, they always have a smile on their faces! Come to Waters Edge for an amazing experience and fun time! Also, I cannot wait to have my wedding at Waters Edge this year! I know I’ll be surrounded with amazing staff, beautiful scenery and wonderful vibes :)

The venue is very beautiful and moldable to your style! The response time is kind of slow, but as long as you are planning your wedding or event far enough in advance this may not be a problem.

The venue was perfect for our wedding. However I feel like the communications could be better. After initially booking, I went through 3 different contact changes, each without warning. The only time I heard from the venue was when I needed to pay something. My last contact Monica was so great answering all my questions and making changes when needed and I wish I had her the entire time. They did have a day of person to assist with the set up and take down the tables I did not need but over all set up was left entirely to us. Overall I would recommend but be prepared to do the majority of the planning and organizing.

This venue is so beautiful! The staff is so accommodating, helpful and super friendly. The bartenders, especially Chrisy Reeves were amazing! Every single one of our guests were telling us how beautiful our venue was. If you are looking for a beautiful venue with amazing staff, Waters Edge is the place for you!

The team at Water’s Edge is amazing! The facility is soooooo beautiful and my daughter’s wedding cocktail hour and reception couldn’t have turned out any better!!!!! We are so pleased! All guests had an amazing time and had so many compliments to share!! Thank you for making Mackenzie & Brian’s day amazing!!!

We absolutely LOVED this venue. Everything about it was stunning. We especially loved the option of the outdoor patio with the fire pits overlooking the beautiful fountain. Our guests enjoyed having the patio to take pictures at and it was a relaxing place for them to take a break from dancing. The banquet hall itself was spacious and beautiful as well. Katelyn and the water’s edge team are amazing and helped us with all the minor details of the day. We received MANY compliments from guests regarding this venue. I would HIGHLY recommend booking here!

Got married on 9/12/2020 - and cannot begin to tell you how many compliments we received on the venue. The whole venue is stunning and the staff is outstanding. Katelyn and Monica would answer my 1000 emails very timely and ensure me everything was OK during this crazy time. We had both of ceremony and reception at the venue and there was so much room to spread out and not make guests feel crowded when the space was being flipped. HIGHLY recommend!!!!

We were so impressed how smooth our day went! The waters edge team was so helpful, easy and professional to work with. The venue itself is gorgeous. Our guests were wowed with the atmosphere. From inside to outside it was perfect. I couldn’t recommend this venue and team enough!!

Water’s Edge was amazing! The venue space is everything you could dream of and more! Katelyn, Kristen and their team were easy to work with, answered every question and made sure everything went exactly as planned! They were great adapting to all the last minute changes and helping us navigate covid wedding planning!! We received many compliments from our guests on the gorgeous venue and many especially enjoyed sitting on the back deck area to socialize as well! My bridal party and I got ready in the bridal suite which was perfect! Would definitely recommend Waters Edge to anyone looking for a gorgeous, spacious and lovely venue!

We booked Water's Edge for our wedding and it was truly amazing! The banquet room rental and bar package through them was carefully thought out. Everything included in the package was ready before we got there which made my other vendors and other small decor I brought in easy for us to set up!! I love that I was able to bring in any wedding coordinator to help with my ceremony and caterer had access to the nice kitchen. Thank you Kristen and Katelyn!!!

Waters Edge was everything we dreamed of for our wedding reception! The venue was very affordable, and Kristen and Katelyn was awesome to work with! We had about 200 people at our wedding, and there was more than enough room between tables and on the dance floor. They let us customize the lighting throughout the venue to match our wedding colors, and we used their centerpieces that looked awesome! We highly recommend using Waters Edge!

We had our wedding here last week and while it is a beautiful venue, I think they still have a lot to learn about hosting weddings. In our opinion, they were not accommodating at all. In our opinion, they seemed set in their ways and had a more “take it or leave it” approach which we didn’t realize until it came down to the final months before the wedding. In our opinion, the bartenders were very rude and I witnessed them cut off a lot of our guests after just 2 drinks, and started suggesting water. In my opinion this is not only an insult because all of our guests were completely fine, when we’re paying $20/person for alcohol, we think we deserve at least our money’s worth. I was very tempted to ask for money back because of their bartenders. I’ve never experienced that at a wedding before. At the end during clean up I went back in to grab a couple things and again, in our opinion, staff was so rude to us. Like I said, the venue is very pretty, but I would not have an event or wedding here again. We think they have a lot to learn and need to re-evaluate their staff and procedures.

We booked our Wedding Reception here for our Leap Day Celebration. The reception hall and building facilities are beautiful. We worked with Kristen and Kaitlyn. Both pleasant. Make sure you look at your contracts and make sure you get everything in writing. Its a new facility and they are still working out the kinks. We were super pleased to be able to use any vendor we wanted, and not having to use a preferred provider selected by them. This is the reason we went with their facility.

We booked Water's Edge for our wedding reception prior to the construction of it being finalized, and we're extremely happy that we did. The venue is stunning and the staff was awesome to work with. Kristen was always extremely positive, responsive, and attentive to our planning needs when we were scheduling. Katelyn then took over to ensure our experience would be perfect, and she did just that. She was around for anything we needed for the weeks ahead of our event and was all over the place ensuring all was perfect on the night of. All of our friends and family were blown away by the beauty and convenience of the venue. From the location, the large banquet center itself, to the large and nice restrooms and dressing area, it's great for any size event and crowd. Stop searching because if you're reading this review, you've found your banquet center. If you can't tell, we can't recommend Water's Edge enough!

We had our reception at Waters Edge in October and absolutely loved it! Kristen and Kaitlin were so great to work with and they made sure everything was perfect for us! It was just completely redone and it does not look like a typical “banquet hall” inside, it is beautiful! So many of our guests commented on how nice it was there. We really liked that you were able to use your own caterer for food as well! I looked at many venue options and this was so affordable compared to the other options. We are so happy we chose Waters Edge for our venue!

This is a new construction venue and while this would scare most brides away working with Kristen the Event Coordinator and Dan Emrick the Construction Manager has made my wedding planning seamless. Kristen and Dan have both gone out of their way to make sure I am updated each step of the construction process. I am a very detailed oriented person and I requested to see an example of the carpet, chairs, and tables in order to get a vision of the space. They not only send the examples but also provided the dimensions of each. They do offer tours of the construction site which was pretty fun wearing a hard hat on site. It just made me feel very involved in the process. The new banquet is not the only structure that is under construction. If you are familiar with this intersection in St. Peter’s you would know it is not the most appealing. I have been told they are moving the entrance over to the stoplight for ease of access to and from the location. By doing this they will also be adding a bridge over the lake which adds curb appeal in my opinion. Landscaping will be added in and around the property and they are fixing the edging around the lake and adding a water fountain in the middle. I was very hesitant about having my reception at a good ol “banquet” center. The pictures they have provided on the Knot does not give this building justice. The class you feel entering the front doors to the modern lighting fixtures above to the updated technology that can be used for your reception. This is not your typical banquet center. I am so excited to see the final phase of this new venue!

This place is very pretty, if you are looking for a reception hall for 100-120 people check this place out! Eric the event coordinator is very easy to work with. The food was awesome! And you cant beat the price!
