Shaye our bridal attendant was so sweet and extremely helpful with anything and everything I needed, from grabbing me food to fixing my veil when it broke. On top of the, the major compliment all of our guests gave us was how impeccable the service was. Every single member of the staff was at the top of their game and knew exactly what everyone needed. Not to mention, the food was TO DIE FOR! Every guest could not stop raving about the cocktail hour and the dinner service. Water's Edge is just stunning, which was the main word used by everyone we spoke to at our wedding. From the beautiful water view, to the modern/upscale design of the interior & exterior, it makes me emotional every time I talk about it. I wish I could relive the day all over again that's how perfect it was. Truly one of the top venues on Long Island!

Shay was beyond amazing as a bridal attendant!!!! The venue is absolutely gorgeous. The guests raved about the food and said things like”I never eat the main meal since I’m full from the cocktail hour, but it was too good not to eat it!” The variety and quality of the cocktail hour food was top notch. I hope I get to attend a wedding here soon, so I can be a guest next time!!

e have had it. From the day we signed up, they had been nothing less than “over the top” accommodating and an absolute pleasure to work with. From Cynthia, Meg, Shaye (the bridal attendant), Charles (maitre d) and ALL STAFF it was such a spectacular experience throughout the entire process. The food was amazing, too. WE GOT OFF THE CHART NUMBER OF PHONE CALLS AND TEXTS LIKE CRAZY FROM OUR 218 guests THE NEXT DAY SAYING THAT THIS WAS THE BEST WEDDING THEY HAD EVER BEEN TO. I even went back the next day to give more gratuity to Charles for the staff because of the feedback that I received about the attention that was given to detail and how top notch the staff was. Water’s Edge rocked our wedding out of the ballpark…and I am not just saying this because it is Opening Day for baseball. My daughter and her husband had all of their dreams come true because of Water’s Edge…and it is so easy to recognize all of the hard work that took place to ensure that it would be the most amazing life event in this entire world. TO SAY THAT BOTH SIDES OF THE FAMILY ARE IN THE WE LOVE WATER’S EDGE FAN CLUB IS 100% AUTHENTIC. Highly recommend…THERE ARE NOT EVEN WORDS TO DESCRIBE OUR EXPERIENCE. When you are ready to tie the knot…this is the number one venue on Long Island to have your reception.

o quit my job and work there so I can help other couples enjoy it as much as we did. We had an amazing experience on our wedding night. I'm so sad it's over, but as everyone keeps reminding me, it has just begun. I often hear so many people say, oh you don't have time to even see a guest or eat anything on your wedding day. Which is crazy. We saw all of our guests all night long dancing and having the time of their lives. Outside on the balcony and at the cute little bar in front. And let me tell you, I ate my entire dinner and it was delicious. Everyone from Cynthia to Luis our Maitre D, was amazing. The staff is so professional and kind. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and beautiful. Everything was perfect. I could not have dreamed of a better wedding. Thank you entire Water's Edge staff for making our first night of forever, unforgettably special.

DeMeisha who was excellent in all the pre-planning meetings and answered a ton of our questions. Charles, who was initially supposed to be our maitre de but unfortunately had a family matter the day of. However, he took down all our details and passed those along to Elmer! Charles even showed up to our wedding, which was so kind! Elmer, was amazing and ran the entire night so seamlessly. Lastly, Shay, our bridal attendant, was so attentive to detail and helped our entire bridal party with any need. I swear she had a sixth sense :) Our guests raved that it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to between the beauty of the venue, the food, service, and entertainment. Thank you WE for the most memorable day!

The food was great and it’s beautiful but I had an absolutely terrible experience leading up to the day and on the day of my Maitre’d, Charles dropped the ball big time on a number of occasions We met with Charles the Thursday before our wedding and went over everything. I left with a great feeling. I thought Charles was pretty animated but he seemed like he knew what he was doing. As part of our drop off - we had brought a memory candle to be used in our ceremony and separate champagne flutes to toast with: Charles said something along the lines of how nice it is to have the candle in the ceremony that normally it’s just on the credenza and asked permission to move the candle to the credenza in the hall after the ceremony, which I was pleased he even mentioned. Charles took the champagne flutes we brought out of the box/wrapping, inspected them, and then rewrapped them up. When walking into the venue for the drop off appointment, we saw a 60inch round in the entryway instead of a 6ft banquet table which I was so excited about because of the table cloth option for it - I asked Charles to switch this for us and he was like no problem consider it done. Fast forward to 5/20 - I am at the Waters Edge and I see the 6ft banquet table going to be put out. I quickly mentioned to Shay that I had requested the 60inch and they fixed, but annoying I had to catch this. Then I am lining up for my ceremony, my now husband already walked down the aisle, and I see the memorial candle - which is literally apart of our ceremony script - on the credenza. I obviously mentioned this and they fixed it but once again, very annoying. My biggest issue is related to our champagne flutes. After our first dance, we sit down at our table and see our champagne flutes aren’t there - I say something to Charles about this and he tells says “champagne flutes are being polished and will be right out”. Some time passed and Charles came by to our table and mentioned again the glasss are being polished and will be right out. Sounds great, until we are through our toasts and don’t have them. I didn’t see Charles anywhere and mentioned something to Shay. Who then comes back with an inventory sheet saying they were never brought. I obviously said that is not true and Charles held them in his hands in the lobby. After much time Shay comes back with the glasses and mentioned something showing she was frustrated with Charles. I’m pretty upset that I was being lied to for over an hour about the glasses. Don’t tell me something is being polished and is all good when something is lost. The worst part to me is that Charles never checked in/never come back to follow up on this and just pretended everything is okay. Charles never apologized or acknowledged this and the next and only other time I remember seeing him was for the cake cutting. A few other thing to note - there was a wedding earlier in the day on my date. And the valet refused to park my step dads car until they cleared this out. It was pouring rain and my step dad needed to come inside for portraits. I think the Waters Edge outsources this but make sure if there is any overlap this is considered in planning or mentioned. It probably would have been fine if it was nice out but it’s inconsiderate in my opinion.

nthia, Kevin, Ryan, Samantha, Charles & Shay, all exceptional people to work with leading up to our wedding day & all went above & beyond to ensure we had the most incredible & seamless event! It was such a pleasure planning with them & being in their company for this long-awaited, once in a lifetime occasion. It wasn’t just a business transaction with them, from day one almost 2 years ago we felt an instant connection & throughout our wedding planning process the communication & the personal attention were amazing. Cynthia, Kevin & Ryan were extremely accommodating, patient, kind & always very down to earth, taking the time to listen & understand our vision & ideas. We felt so comfortable with the team & I had no doubt that they would deliver on hosting an incredible event. Ultimately, our wedding was everything we dreamed of & more! Ryan is an incredible chef, our guests still can’t stop raving about how delicious the food was to this day! We did a “Gatsby Style” reception, rather than the traditional coursed dinner. I had a “freestyle” vision for our guests, dance…eat, drink…whatever they wanted, whenever they wanted, rather than a plated sit down dinner. I was doing things a bit different, so I was a little nervous being the first to do it for wedding there, but Water’s Edge understood where I was going with the concept. I wasn’t sure how it would be received by the crowd, but everyone LOVED it & the staff ensured that everything surpassed my expectations. We had various food stations with uniformed attendants serving our guests, all were very professional & friendly. All the displays were beautiful & a memorable experience for our guests. Many specifically mentioned the mashed potato bar, sushi & BBQ stations as favorites! Cocktail hour was also beautifully curated with gorgeous antipasti & some really delicious unique passed hordeuvres, in addition to some special Italian favorites crafted for us by Chef Ryan! Charles the Maitre’d nailed it on every level with all of my meticulous personal details, he ensured we were both relaxed, fed, well hydrated (on champagne) & taken care of all night long - we felt like royalty & just loved working with him! Shay is also the best bridal attendant & even just after a few hours together it felt like we had been friends for years. I have never felt so pampered & at ease! Aside from this being an highly anticipated event many years in the making that could’ve taken place anywhere & would’ve been great, all of our guests have said it was truly the most amazing, beautiful & BEST wedding they’ve ever been to! I may be biased, but I totally believe them 😉. Words simply cannot express our gratitude for this team of people & the true beauty that Water’s Edge embodies. The whole experience was so encompassing of us & our love & there’s no where else in the world that would’ve been a better place to celebrate this important & sentimental day. Thank you so much for helping to make our dreams come true & for being an unforgettable part of our story! The night of our wedding our maitre d', Charles, constantly checked up on us and ensured our night was going exactly as planned. He even did things like turning up the air conditioning when I told him I was sweating from dancing! We received endless compliments from our guests about how delicious and plentiful the food was! All we have been hearing from our guests is how our wedding was the most fun and amazing wedding they have been to! It was a day my husband and I will never forget! Thank you, Water's Edge!

on food and no follow through. We added sea food for cocktail hour and trays were never refilled and lasted only a half hour!!! Everything squished on two small tables creating a buffet atmosphere. For 100 people!! If I wanted a buffet I would not have had a sit down dinner!! There were two servers for or’durves only passed once around Most guests never got to see them Short staffed , rude staff. Rushed service. The dirty dishes were left on tables and not cleaned off I had to go get then off before dessert!!! Just unprofessional!! We were so disappointed!! Tried to charge us for two bartenders when only one showed up. Salmon was so dry all the guests complained Upgrade on desserts table was skimpy. And crammed on to small tables again If we did not upgrade I wonder what my guest would have eaten????? 8 pastry’s on a table of 12 people!! And cakes on dessert table just left there and were not cut until after it was over ! BeWare!!! Just ruined the beautiful day!!!!

The staff made our day run so smoothly and I’m so eternally grateful! The food (both cocktail hour and entrees) was delicious! We are so happy with our decision.

rfect! He was SO attentive to the bride, the brides mother, and all of us bridesmaids and fellow guests! The food was just the right portions for a sit down Saturday luncheon. The place was perfectly set up! Matt, the bartender, was always ready with Bellini’s on deck! The venue has the most gorgeous photo op’s too! The bathroom was SPOTLESS! So clean and that is one of the biggest pet peeves of a venue! All of the workers were so nice and attentive to the guests. Cynthia, the event sales manager, was so helpful in securing Charles again for another shower! It was truly the most perfect day, I cannot wait to return for another bridal shower and whatever else the future holds!

When we called the venue we had to leave a message but within a few hours Cynthia called us back and booked us for a visit two days later. She was honest with the dates that were available and the packages that they offer. When we arrived, we walked into a beautiful foyer and we immediately noticed the fresh, clean smell, and the inviting feeling of the grand staircase. It was easy to be taken away by the beauty of this place but what sold us was Cynthia. She's personable, very responsive, helpful in vendor recommendations, and is excited with you to plan your magical day. So far it's been a pleasure to work with Cynthia and Water's Edge and we're looking forward to the rest of our planning, and to report back after we celebrate!

Both of them were prompt and very helpful with all questions. The day of the wedding, could not have been any more perfect. The bridal attendant and Maitre D (Shay and Jenn), I cannot thank enough. They were there for anything you needed and even when you didn't they were always helping out! The flow from the ceremony, to cocktail hour, to reception, was flawless. Every one of our guests said it was the most perfect and beautiful venue. You have the entire venue to yourselves, no other wedding at the same time. It was intimate and beautiful!

ished venue - the groom and bridal suites stretch out the top floor, the cocktail hour was overwhelming with the amount of food, dinner was delicious (people are still complimenting the filet mignon), and everything from the exterior, entry, hallways and main ballroom are grand and beautiful. Kevin (Ops Manager), Cheryl (bridal attendant), and Jennifer (Maitre ‘d) are all made for their positions and went above and beyond to make sure to answer all questions or fill any requests - every time we turned around, either Cheryl or Jennifer were there to ask what they could do for us. Our families were so impressed by how hard everyone worked and how accommodating everyone was all night. The air conditioning seriously struggled to keep up with a packed dance floor, but that is our only complaint. We are so happy we took a chance on this place and are thrilled to be one of the first weddings at this location.

so happy it worked out that way because the venue was absolutely breathtaking and represented that modern glam vibe I wanted all along. At this point, most people have been to a million weddings on LI so having it at the Water's Edge was refreshing and new for our guests. We luckily had the most perfect weather that day too.  We signed on with Kevin back in March for a May date, and literally replanned the whole party in a matter of 3 months. After booking, we worked closely on the details with Jessica who was always very responsive to us. The food options were endless which we loved because we are big foodies. I feel like they offered a lot more for cocktail hour than other venues we toured.  We also did the venetian hour where they laid out in their gorgeous lobby.  I would highly recommend this venue for your wedding. It was new, stunning, and glamourous and got so many great photos there as well!

soon as we stepped onto the property (and that was in the very early stages of construction when all we had to look at was some framing!). I'm thrilled we went with our gut instincts, because we truly had such a magical day. Being a COVID bride tacks on several additional layers of stress throughout the planning process, but the team at Water's Edge were wonderful in alleviating many of our headaches. From navigating postponements, to the ever-changing state regulations, Kevin, Cynthia, and the whole Water's Edge crew were so helpful every step of the way. The level of service on our wedding day was excellent as well. It was evident that they wanted to do everything in their power to make our day perfect. Our drinks were never empty, my bustle was never dragging, and they were always one step ahead! Guest after guest kept telling us how delicious and plentiful the food was, how gorgeous and modern the venue was, and overall, how much of a wonderful time they had. It is a day I wish I could re-live over and over again! Water's Edge undoubtedly has a long, successful road ahead of them - how special that we were able to share in the excitement of being their "first"! I highly recommend this amazing venue - and if you need to fill a seat at your upcoming affair just let me know, because I could totally go for some more tarragon cream ravioli ;-)
