nd it was amazing!! I have seen some negative reviews below and wanted to share our positive experience! From start to finish, we could not have asked for anything more!! The views are incredible and we loved having everything in one location! We had a weekend of celebrating with so much for the guests to do in between. Bree at Waterville did an amazing job at coordinating all the essential parts of the ceremony and reception!! She sometimes took a few days to respond but always did and had every detail very well documented! She helped to execute the day flawlessly! I have read a few people say they got the bill 2 days before and it was wrong. My bill had an $80 charge on it that was incorrect (we changed our mind on something) and Bree immediately fixed it! There were no surprises on the bill and I knew it was due the week before so I was ready for the quick turnaround time. I did hire a day of coordinator to help with the set up and day of coordination. Hiring Elizabeth from Effortless Events by Madison was a great decision!! She did all of the last minute coordinating with the vendors we hired and set up all of our decor that day. She followed our directions perfectly in the set up!! If there was a hiccup in the day, I knew nothing about it! @effortlessevents.mypixieset.com Bree and Elizabeth together made the day flow perfectly!! Gina at the Golden Eagle was so helpful from the day we blocked rooms!!! She was great at communicating and made the whole process so easy! The rooms were clean and exactly as described. I would definitely recommend the Tower Rooms for getting ready! The location is perfect as well!! Fernando at the Valley Pub was fabulous!!! We had the Welcome Party and Sunday Brunch there. He has a very relaxed style and had these “type A” moms a little nervous at times but he does not miss a single detail! Both parties were exactly what we expected, and more! The location can’t be beat and the guests were raving about the food all weekend. Karaoke after the Welcome Party was a huge hit!!

tyle Lounge was beautifully set up and was spacious with a large dance floor and a big outdoor deck that was perfect for both the cocktail hour and reception. Bri, Jen, and Tonya were fantastic and went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. They took care of it all – from handling last minute needs and ensuring the other vendors were set up for success, to helping with things like my dress bustle, executing a few surprises I had planned throughout the night, and coordinating a specific custom ceremony recessional song and walk at the last minute (thank you, Bri!). They were incredibly accommodating, patient, and dedicated to making the night absolutely perfect. We didn’t have a wedding coordinator and were initially a bit nervous due to recent reviews and knowing that venue coordinators and wedding coordinators typically handle different responsibilities. But they far exceeded our expectations and we really can’t thank them enough. They even allowed us to come in a day early to decorate, which was actually a lot of fun with Tonya and her team. Then the next morning, they had everything neatly organized for easy pickup. A special shoutout to Tonya – she is a total rockstar and was there for us both days from 7am until late at night! Every employee we encountered throughout the weekend was wonderful – from the welcome bonfire crew, the Golden Eagle Lodge front desk team & housekeepers, to the Valley Chop House owner and bartenders (we highly recommend Chop House for an afterparty), and the chairlift crew! One of the chairlift guys even sang a beautiful congratulatory song as he helped us on the chair on the way down, which my husband said was one of the most memorable parts of the night lol. Having worked in hospitality for over a decade and helped with many weddings in the past, my standards were high. Waterville exceeded them in every way possible and we can’t thank the team enough for making our wedding day so special. We highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a stunning, Hallmark movie-like setting and a dedicated team to bring their vision to life!

n amazing time, loved the location and thought the day was spectacular. Positives that stood out: -While the get ready suite is typically not open until 9am, the staff graciously made an exception to allow us into the room at 8 am to ensure the bridal party were ready for the first look - Bri accompanied me to the first look to make sure timing and communication worked out perfectly with our photographer and capturing the first look moment as well as assisting with my dress and veil - The day before our wedding they were very patient and kind despite members of the wedding party getting lost or not arriving on time for the rehearsal. I am especially thankful for their understanding as we were all standing in the freezing rain waiting for them. -Our desserts unexpectedly arrived a day early, they quickly made us aware and helped us problem solve how to store everything for the next day - They kept us on time and really guided us during the day - The sandwiches and other food they brought throughout the day to the bridal suite was really excellent and kept the bridal party fed - The next day for clean up all of our decor was nicely consolidated and since there was no other wedding that day we were given some extended time to gather it. (they are under no obligation to do this it was just a nice consideration by them). Some of the concerns leading up to the wedding and other reviews: - We did experience some of the frustrations experienced by the other recent reviews I would like to mention these but also point out a few things - We did experience some pricing changes but I will note that it very explicitly stated in the contract that menu pricing is subject to change and the changes made were reasonable with current inflation. - The final invoice is due rather quickly but the timeline for payments are also clearly outlined in the contract which also lists that they don't individually invoice along the way. As long as you are paying attention to the numbers and quotes you have been given the final number shouldn't be a surprise, my estimate of the final number was within $500. - I would say the biggest concern for us in the planning process was the non-responsiveness. This was something we definitely experienced but ultimately everything worked out and when our wedding was closer we had no problem communicating with our coordinator. - We did not really experience the more rude behaviors but we also took the kill them with kindness approach for our whole wedding process. All in all the staff really pulled out all of the stops for our wedding day and were extremely kind. I would not change a thing about our wedding.

in the town for the weekend with all our friends and family was so fun. Our campfire the night before was a blast, our rehearsal dinner at the Waterville Valley Clubhouse was picturesque and the clubhouse helped us organize a golf scramble for the guys the morning of the wedding that was a huge hit. So 3 stars feels fair but in retrospect, I could have booked elsewhere for a similarly great weekend without all the headaches. They have so much going for them that it’s a shame how poorly they manage this venue. The logistics leading up to the wedding left a LOT to be desired and if you aren’t organized and/or don’t have a good team of outside vendors, it could see it being very easy to have an unnecessarily stressful wedding experience at Waterville. I’ll leave a few notes to beware of: - Communication with Jen was shockingly inconsistent, I cannot emphasize this enough. With 2 months to our wedding we were waiting 3 weeks for an email replies (despite multiple nudges) for fairly straightforward questions. - We were told fairly last minute that Jen would not help set up any of our personal decor. Thank god we had already hired an outside wedding coordinator because that was not what we were told when we booked - The menu and pricing completely changed between booking and if you weren’t carefully reading contracts, you’d end up owing a lot more than you signed up for. They did not tell us this until we went to their once a year wedding tasting for all of their couples, which didn’t happen until the end of April. They also didn’t even have all of the options available to taste. - The wedding packet form they send out for detail planning is long and redundant which is fine except for we literally reviewed it via email, then on the phone and then again for an entire hour in person the day before the wedding (when I’d rather be with my family!) and each time things were wrong. - Our original contract said we could access the bridal suite as early as 8am. This is no longer the case and I had to email back and forth so much about it that I just lost so much faith in Jen that I canceled the entire bridal suite and got ready in our hotel (which was still great!) - Everything we relied on her for had some issue - we wanted to do a private cake cutting and Jen had no cake knife ready despite promising us she had one so by the time she brought it out we had wasted 15 minutes of our evening and everyone had gathered around us to watch something we wanted to do without fanfare. We also spent $150 to rent Jenga and corn hole and those were simply never put out by the venue. - They assured us they had an indoor backup room but the room they showed us 2 years ago when we toured was renovated to add an entire wall that made the room super narrow so thank god it didn’t rain because it really would have been a tighter fit than we ever anticipated. These are all things just off the top of my head so there were definitely other issues I'm forgetting. There are a lot of great venues in NH that offer a similar vibe without all the headaches. If I had to do it again, I’m not sure I would pick Waterville but despite it all, we had an amazing time. I hope they find a better coordinator who can really bring this place back to life because there is SO much potential.

big issue (in my opinion) was that the invoice was sent to us two days before it was due with incorrect amounts on it. I was asked for a sober list (I had two pregnant guests and a couple of relatives who do not drink and was told they would be deducted from the total) but when I received the bill, it included the entire guest count and was only told after inquiring that it’s their policy to charge for all adults whether their drinking or not. They had also included minors in the count, which I had to ask to be fixed. I was also charged the incorrect amount for our Welcome Bonfire and the amount was only fixed after I questioned it. Weddings are not cheap by any means and although we had an idea of what we’d end up paying, two days out is not a lot of time when you’re shelling out tens of thousands of dollars. This was also the first invoice we were even seeing (aside from our initial contract and prices has changed since we had signed). It would be helpful to have some sort of portal where you can mark off items and quantities of the things you want along the way so that you know exactly what you are going to owe and have a better idea for budgeting (most of my vendors had something like this). Bri was incredibly unhelpful and unprofessional. Most of my questions were met with rude and snide remarks. Bri was openly rude to my family and bridal party on several occasions and was barely present throughout my wedding day. I saw her once in the afternoon and didn't see her again until several hours later when it was time to line up. She came up to us at 6pm to tell us she would be leaving, which the reception had barely started at this point. There were many experiences with Bri and Jen that left a bad taste in my mouth, but one stood out. I had purchased my get ready space at the venue, which included breakfast and lunch. We were only supplied with lukewarm coffee and mimosas and no water. We asked my brother-in-law to bring us some water to the get ready space, so he brought a cooler that we had used the night before at the Welcome Bonfire. There were alcoholic beverages in the cooler that were left over from the night before (which we did not drink because of their strict no outside alcohol policy), however while we were taking photos outside, they went through the cooler and confiscated it. When we came in from photos to line up, Bri decided that that would be the best time to tell us what they "found" and said they were trying to figure out if we would receive a warning or would be getting a fine. I fully acknowledge that outside alcohol is against their policy, however we were not drinking it and, in my opinion, this was the worst possible time to be disciplining us and threatening us with a fine. I was pretty upset the rest of the night because of this interaction. If it wasn’t for my other amazing vendors, I don’t think I would have enjoyed my wedding as much as I did. My photographer and DJ did the bulk of the organizing, which should of been Bri's responsibility. I loved the venue and the event staff were all super lovely and great, but if I could do it over again, I would probably pick a different venue just based off of my experience with Bri and Jen.

mend you look elsewhere. I was fortunate/ unfortunate enough to work with the old and new coordinators. I was so excited to have my wedding here because it is an absolutely beautiful venue. Unfortunately, the entire process was horrific. We booked Waterville because the communication was amazing they replied within hours. Then the original wedding coordinator left and it’s all down hill from there. The new coordinators ruined our entire experience. Jen will be quick to reply to get the sale then takes weeks, even MONTHS to reply to your email once you’re booked. (We tested it by having a friend do a fake inquiry. I was waiting on a reply for 2 weeks with numerous follow up emails and she replied to my friend within a hour and emailed her back a few times meanwhile I’ve been waiting on a response for weeks.) It was so bad I made an appointment to meet her in person instead, and messaged her a hour before to let her know we would be there soon and she replied “remind me again why we are meeting” and never showed up (I live 2 hours away so I was not happy). I was hoping that when we got closer to our wedding that the communication would get better and that they were focusing on the current weddings. I was wrong. This place does not care about you or your wedding. They just care about the money they get from you. We also had a higher than usual price increase because apparently the old coordinator was writing contracts wrong so we had to pay more because apparently we need to make up the difference of their employees mess up. We reviewed our wedding day packet at least 4 times and Bri acted like it was the first time we reviewed it every time. Stuff was wrong EVERY TIME. I truly don’t think she paid attention once. I asked for a copy of my final invoice before making my final payment and again it was wrong and needed to be corrected multiple times. I reached out a week before all my payments were due to pay them and would get no response then get a email saying I was passed due. Our guest also said they kept changing the price of drinks at the bar and over charged them numerous times. Bar tabs didn’t add up to what people actually drank. Note they will not help you with any decorating. (Which we knew and were fine with; it’s in the contract) The one thing they said they would do is light the candles and they didn’t even do that. I had to find them to get it done. They also said they would wipe down the seats if it rained and they didn’t do that either; our DJ stepped up and did it. It is a gorgeous venue don’t get me wrong but it is not worth the headache. When it came time to get our things the next day we agreed on 8am (per the packet we reviewed FOUR times). My family waited there for over an hour for Bri to show up saying “oh I thought it was 9” while my family was walking around in the rain trying to open every door. Then she proceeded to say she had a late night and had people over and that she was “exhausted”. While my family was up late enjoying themselves are OUR wedding and managed to make it there on time. On the plus side… the food was really good and the venue is beautiful. But that does not make up for the horrible experience this place causes.

ooking she left and after that everything went down hill. I worked with two people, the first was named Jenn. She was very unresponsive, I attempted to email and call her and it took her almost TWO MONTHS to get back to me. I even had to call and ask if she still worked there as this was so bad. She then raised the prices of food without us even knowing and when I questioned when and why this happened, she emailed me a very inappropriate email informing me that a previous coordinator “forged the contracts as guests signed them” and whether that was true or not, I signed the contract expecting to pay a specific price and it was unfair that we now had to pay more out of no where. Jenn then stopped answering and I began working with someone named Bri. She was also incredibly unresponsive and I had to call and email her multiple times. Every single payment I had was late as they did not respond to my emails or calls when I was trying to pay them (weeks in advance). We did not have anyone to decorate our venue so we had to do it ourselves and she continuously told us we could decorate the day before to save time. However ONE WEEK before our wedding she told us we could not. I had a friend who was married there just a few weeks prior and they were able to decorate so I did not understand why I was being told no. Once I told this to Bri she ended up letting us decorate. We agreed on meeting at the base of the mountain the day before to decorate at 10:30am and we were at the base of the mountain until after 11 as we could not find her. Another employee we saw there was very angry by this and called her stating this was unexceptionable. When Bri came down she rudely looked at me and said “I was on the third floor what did you forget where your venue was?” And this upset me because it was very unprofessional, and if her boss couldn’t even find her I am not sure how I was supposed too. While we were setting up, she sat at a table the whole time planning her OWN wedding on her personal laptop. The morning of the wedding, we got to our suite to get ready at 9am and she was no where to be found ALL DAY. Due to how horrible these coordinators were, I actually hired my own outside coordinator and she SAVED THE DAY because Bri was no where to be found until I walked upstairs and saw her touring another couple around the venue. Then she showed up 10 minutes before the reception at 4pm for the first time and yelled at us for taking too long. She said “5 minutes or we don’t go at all” yelling at all of us on the most important day of my life, my personal coordinator informed me that we were making fine time and Bri was just being rude for no reason. After the reception ended, Bri saw someone with a nip (a guest) and Bri pulled my bridesmaid aside and made her cry by yelling at her staying this was not allowed, instead of handling it professionally. Then as my husband and I were getting introduced, Bri pulled us aside informing she had personal plans and was LEAVING EARLY FROM THE WEDDING, and then proceeded to leave, which made total sense why she was rushing the ceremony. I can’t express how beautiful the venue is, but how horrible the coordinators make this experience. They are unprofessional and down right mean, and I urge you NOT TO BOOK HERE.

e was responsive in the beginning, but slowly started not answering as much and not providing us. Important details like pricing changes, food, changes, and drink package changes. We were made aware of this 30 days before our wedding. And when we found this information out, it was only through the food tasting not even from them personally. We also did not even receive an invoice for anything up until two days before the wedding, where they then expected us to pay 50% of the bill within 2 days. During the day of we had zero communication with our day of coordinator, and I had to actually call an assistant after the ceremony as there was no one at the venue supporting us and telling us where to go. My fiancé had to go behind the bar and try to find someone to help us. I think our coordinator was seen twice throughout the evening but she ended up leaving early during our reception. A food vendor ended up taking over and helping us with everything and he was amazing but we had zero help other than that throughout the day where our vendors were coming to us to figure out what the timeline was that we were just making up on the fly. to top that off at the end of the evening me and my fiancé left the venue at 10:30 and no buses were there for us so we had to find alternate transportation by calling someone to come back to the mountain and pick us up.

k with and WV is very lucky to have someone as lovely as her. The only reason I chose to give it a 4 stars was to make other brides aware of some things we dealt with. First thing was most of their staff quit right before our wedding which is a huge bummer for the resort. Some of my bridesmaids had to help decorate and thank goodness I had one of my friends there for set up otherwise it seems as though we would have been doomed as there wasn't many people around to help set up our decor. Second is the staff at our welcome bonfire showed up an hour late which means we had to supply and start our own fire / there was no lights turned on until they arrived at 9pm and it was over at 10pm. Sadly, it was sprinkling at our ceremony I'm not sure what happened but there was not enough seats for all of our guests to sit so a good chunk of them were standing and we had our groomsmen helping wipe all the seats as there was no staff around. I definitely wish I knew there wouldn't be a staff to help set up. Other than these few hiccups we would have chose WV again if we could do it all over, it truly is a wonderful venue and we did have a great night.

this venue gives you the most bang for your buck and has great day of coordination! Pros: *Everything you need is on site and guests can walk back from the reception *Plenty of activities in the area for guests (and a Freedom Pass was given to each person staying on site!) *Beautiful scenery *Bridal refresh suite was a beautiful spot to get ready in *Quality food (the corn bread and Mac and cheese were amazing) *The Dining Room is a perfect reception space, *You’re allowed open-lit candles for decor (this was important to me) *Day of coordination was great. I didn’t have to worry about a single thing the morning of my wedding. The ceremony and reception all ran smoothly. The team made our day wonderfully easy! Cons: *Four of our guests dealt with serious plumbing issues at the Silver Fox Inn. One couple had to be relocated to the Black Bear Lodge *We paid extra to use the Osceola Arbor but because of flooding we chose to not use that space. It was a significant amount of money we didn’t get back (which we understand, but for other couples considering this venue you should know the Arbor space can flood easily) *Halfway through our planning process we were assigned a different coordinator. The communication was at times lacking and response times longer than we would have preferred since we had a lot of questions during certain phases of planning. This improved when we were two weeks out and responses were timely and helpful!

e knew we had to choose a venue and team that we could trust to put all the puzzle pieces together without constantly needing our input. The Waterville team made everything unbelievably easy and we were able to send “representatives” to the tasting, which also helped. We looked at a lot of venues before Waterville and can say that from the moment we did the tour of the resort, we were blown away by the value. The fact that you can have all your guests on site, don’t need to find outside catering, and can seamlessly add in various events to the wedding weekend… we hadn’t seen anything like it! Of course on your special day it’s about the bride and groom but imagine also trusting that your guests will have memories that last a lifetime too. We also have to say that the climate in Waterville is hard to beat! Especially for those getting married in the summer, this location is often less scorching hot than places around it. The mountain air is truly magical. Lastly, the food was SO good. We went for a vegetarian-forward buffet and we felt great knowing that our guests were well fed. Various guests shared that they felt like they were on vacation and even weeks later were saying that they were still riding high from the whole amazing weekend; people have continually mentioned to us since then just how excellent the food was! From the welcome bonfire, to the morning yoga at the Arbor, to the ceremony / celebration (of course!), and the send off brunch, it was a weekend to cherish and remember.

We committed to Waterville a little over a year before our date and can say every step of the planning process was so easy and stress free thanks to Erica. She was able to answer any question we had through out the planning process even through the week of our wedding. When we arrived for our big wedding extravaganza we were welcomed with open arms from all of the Waterville staff, from the tasting, the rehearsal dinner, the bonfire (which was SO fun, our guests are still raving about it), to the moment we said i do,the reception, and the after party. Everyone was so nice and everything went PERFECTLY! Our vendors also enjoyed their time at Waterville and had an effort less time with the set up and break down. The food at our reception was absolutely delicious, and the options were abundant! Waterville provides are and our guests had a blast from the time they arrived until they left. The views are absolutely stunning, and the little town of Waterville is so cozy like something out of a magazine. We also included our dog in our wedding who was welcomed throughout the town! If you’re considering a ski or mountain wedding, Waterville Valley Resort should be a top pick! Erica and the staff think of everything from start to finish and you will not be disappointed!

The bonfire was a great way to get everyone together to start the weekend, followed by a cocktail hour in the speakeasy and a beautiful tented reception outside of the conference center. Everything went smoothly, and despite having the classic last minute things to think about and take care of, Erica made everything so easy for us. She was an absolute legend when it came to handling our questions and requests for more information on ideas we had. The venue itself just had a recent facelift as well, which helped make the whole thing feel like a better value. That being said, Erica's help alone made Waterville Valley feel like a great value!! We also had room blocks at the Golden Eagle and Snowy Owl - they were awesome places to have guests (rehearsal dinner at the Snowy Owl which was delicious). We had guests stay at the Black Bear and Silver Fox as well, and they enjoyed those also.

the whole planning process. The weekend went so perfectly. The tent was absolutely beautiful and Osceola Arbor was so beautiful!! We would 100% recommended Waterville Valley to anyone!

eyond to help us prepare for our wedding day. My married bridesmaids were impressed with her, too. Waterville is lucky to have her! The kitchen staff was also better than we ever could have hoped for. We requested that the petite filets, for 100+ guests, be cooked medium rare. They delivered. Our guests liked the food, which was a big plus. This was a destination wedding for us, so we loved that everyone was able to stay on the property. Figuring out the room blocks got a bit tricky at times but it all worked out in the end. The highlight of our wedding weekend was seeing our guests out and about, enjoying the property - hiking, paddle boating, riding the lift up for the views and waterfalls. Now for the not so great. The reception tent is advertised as being "heated." It was horrible. The propane heaters kept malfunctioning / weren't sufficient. The staff was actively working to try and get them running properly but it was awful even once they were. We could see our breath in early October. How they host weddings in there through mid-October is beyond me. Several of our older and medically fragile guests had to leave the reception early because it was so cold. Given that everyone traveled to get there, it was beyond unfortunate that they couldn't fully enjoy the event. Guests leaving early due to the cold also meant that I didn't have a chance to thank everyone for coming or talk to relatives who I rarely get to see. I spent a good chunk of my time checking in with staff on the heating, and apologizing to guests for how cold it was. Our friends who were drinking and dancing managed (many of the ladies borrowed jackets from the guys) but anyone who was sitting still was uncomfortably cold. If I'd known the temperature would be an issue, I would've looked into additional heating options.

WV checked all our boxes: tons of hotel options, after-party options at local pubs, a casual but classy vibe, good bathroom availability (not porter potties, important to keep in mind for a tent wedding) and budget-friendly. The welcome campfire on Friday night and the after-party on Saturday night were really nice touches & allowed us to spend quality time with our guests. The newly updated bridal suite for getting ready in is beautiful and we got mimosas & food all morning/afternoon. The Osceola Arbor is breathtaking with the mountains and pond as a backdrop, and the Garden Tent (which they just added string lights & drapery to) is gorgeous and complete with lawn space with lawn games, a fire pit, and plenty of privacy. All of our guests were raving about how beautiful it was up there, how good the food was (and the drinks), and how we could walk everywhere! Erica, our onsite coordinator, was an absolute pleasure to work with and answered all my (many, many) questions in the year leading up to our day. She was so helpful and sweet and I always felt at ease knowing she was putting it all together. Our wedding weekend in the mountains was absolutely perfect and I couldn't imagine having had our wedding anywhere else! We can't wait to come back.

She was so nice, quick to answer my million questions, and made sure everything went the way we wanted for the whole weekend. We truly felt spoiled with the town basically dedicated to us the whole time we were there. Cannot say enough good things about Waterville and Erica!

ut together the most perfect day for us. Our ceremony was at My. Tecumseh summit and our reception was at the Freestyle Lounge. I wish that I could post picture reviews because words are not enough to describe the perfection of our day. We were able to have a welcome campfire after our rehearsal dinner by Corcoran Pond and we had a farewell brunch at the Freestyle Lounge the day after. There were some staff turnovers in the month before our wedding that initially really stressed us out. We were worried that all the details and planning we had already sorted out would need to be reviewed or that things would get forgotten but that couldn’t be further from the truth. We met the staff the week of our wedding and by the end I felt like they were family. Erica really organized everything she was so detail oriented and really eased our minds. Abby and Taylor really went so far above and beyond the entire weekend. The chairlift staff were incredibly cool and respectful of our guests. They even made my 96 year old grandmother feel very safe and secure. If I had to give you our top 3 favorite moments they would be: 1. The Food - at the tasting in April the food was fine, it was just the standard wedding food no good not bad just standard. BUT at our wedding everyone was raving about the food and it was soooooo good!!! You always hear about how the bride and groom don’t eat, I ate my entire plate of ratatouille and I wanted more. Get the ratatouille- trust me! 2. The transformation of the Freestyle Lounge. Just everything was so perfect and exactly as I’d envisioned. 3. The ceremony at the top - we got married in heaven it was like we were sitting at the top of the world. If you are looking for the perfect place to marry your best friend surrounded by all the people you love then this is the place. Park your car and get lost in the mountains. Can’t thank everyone at WV enough for making our dreams come true. Erica, Abby and Taylor are the dream team!!!! P.S. Book this venue and don’t forget to order the ratatouille!!!

is past summer. When Erica took over as our wedding coordinator we could not have been happier. She was great at getting back quickly to answer any questions even during a crazy time with the pandemic. She also did a perfect job of staying involved the day of while still giving us (my wife) full creative control. We had a lot of rain on our wedding day and she did a great job of working with us to set up a backup plan that turned out just as good as our original setup. Could not recommend Waterville Valley any higher. Two things that all of our guests loved that were semi-unique to Waterville were: 1. The amount of options for lodging close by so that everyone could walk to every important destination and enjoy some of the cool amenities. 2. The afterparty option at La Hacienda. They were also great to work with and provided an awesome spot to keep the party going and prevent the day from flying by too fast.

Our favorite aspect of the wedding was the community feel that you get at Waterville. It feels like a remote destination wedding with close proximity to Boston. Every coffee run or quick beer in the town center became a opportunity to run into friends and family. And the lodging within walking distance allowed our guests to operate on their own schedule and enjoy their visit as they please. Great experience

to think before COVID-19 was even a thing, we had toured on May 11, 2019 (and this was the only wedding venue we toured in person). We just knew this was the venue for us! Erica is AMAZING to work with; extremely supportive, very flexible, kind, trustworthy, I could go on! The ceremony site is absolutely breathtaking with the mountains at the Osceola Arbor, and our tented reception was more beautiful than we could've imagined. The BBQ Buffet was absolutely delicious; not only did our guests have an amazing time in general, but they also raved about how delicious the food was. We could never thank Erica and the staff at Waterville Valley Resort for everything they did for us. I highly recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for not just a beautiful spot for a ceremony / pictures, but also an affordable venue! Thank you again!!!!

- Waterville Valley made us feel like that is *exactly* what we did. They made everything so incredibly easy, from the Rehearsal Dinner, Welcome Drinks, straight through Bagels in Town Square to say goodbye to everyone. There were also so many different accommodation options for varying group sizes and super reasonable price points. Not to mention we felt like celebrities in town on the big day! We loved the fun vibe - being able to take photos with our bridal party all over with the trolley option and also the Campfire option totally sold us. We loved every minute and would highly recommend this venue!

The back drop for all of our sites were breathe taking and people (a month later) continue to comment and reach out on how perfect our special day was. She was responsive and on top of every little detail, including a potential rain day plan (thank god it wasn't needed!) Her team were the nicest and most accommodating people I have ever met. They walked me through each step of my day, the tasting was perfect and answered all of my thousands of questions. I can not say enough good things about Waterville. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our dream wedding come true.

However, someone was always quick to respond to our questions or attend to our needs. They even connected me with a hair dresser and makeup artist, since I wasn't from the area -- and mind you my hair and makeup were amazing! Erica Sullivan and her team did the most amazing set-up with the decorations we brought. They helped us trouble shoot some things and gave some advice when some of our ideas for decorations weren't fully realized... The best compliments we got is also, I think the best compliment that they SHOULD have gotten, but may not have... "That was the best wedding! It was so YOU... so authentic, and genuine." They were able to set everything up to match who we are. Job very well done!

from me was out of this world and she never once complained. I highly recommend having a bonfire the night before and having an after party at Legends. It was almost like having a destination wedding but it still being in our home state.

We did happen to go through a few coordinators and sales people. However, I am so happy we did because Erica was absolutely amazing. I cannot express enough how amazing Erica truly is. She is extremely professional and carries herself very well in any situation. She even helped with the fireworks, which were more than what we could have ever imagined. The scenery and foliage for our October wedding made the day that much better. The reception tent is very spacious and Erica and her team did a fantastic job setting up our decorations. They will go above and beyond for you. I also highly recommend the newly renovated bridal suite. It is absolutely breath taking and makes for perfect getting ready pictures. I wish we could relive this day over and over again. We cannot thank WV enough for making our day so special.

The Next Level Food Truck has the best food and we brought fun lawn games. It was so hot, we all went swimming in the lake after the fire The wedding itself was the best day ever! It was so fun to take the trolley to the ceremony location. The ceremony backdrop is so beautiful. The food is also WONDERFUL! Everyone was raving about the weekend and I would 100% recommend this venue to anyone. Erica, the wedding coordinator, was amazing to work with and was so helpful! If in doubt, just book it!!

The communication and support from the team at Waterville was truly amazing; I never once doubted them and they brought our vision to life. Even when it rained on the day, they were so accommodating to us, our bridal party, and guests! Our guests are still talking about how much they love Waterville and plan on going back! We had our ceremony at Osceola Arbor and it could not have been a more beautiful setting with the pond and mountains in the background. The reception was also exactly what we were looking for as well! Lots of dancing in an outdoor setting with incredible food, and Waterville delivered once again. I would recommend Waterville for any couple looking for an outdoor venue, it was perfect!

The bonfire the night before the wedding was supervised by WV staff, which left us enjoying the fire, the smores, and our first evening with family/friends outdoors. The accommodations and lodging were fantastic! The outdoor activities at WV Resort were enjoyed by all during our down time! You made it a wedding weekend to remember and for that we thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

The tent was a beautiful setting for our reception and the lawn games were a perfect addition to our cocktail hour. We got married Labor Day Weekend and our guests are still raving about the food! Also - because Waterville Valley is off the beaten path, it feels like you're renting a town for the weekend - the signs say your name and all the stores have your itinerary so that guests can easily reference where they are supposed to be and when. There is tons to do all weekend long, which meant our guests felt like they had a mini-vacation. As if that wasn't enough, the gorgeous backdrop that is Waterville Valley means your photos are going to be beautiful.

My husband and I looked at several venues, and we weren't feeling anything we saw; then we went to Waterville Valley on a whim. We met with Jackie Adams, and instantly fell in love with the prospect of celebrating our wedding there. Not only are Jackie Adams and Christyna Tamulevich professional, but they are also extremely personable and down to earth. Jackie and Christyna, along with the Waterville community, cater to your wedding vision and support you in any manner necessary. From our Friday night Town Square Beach welcome party, to our gorgeous ceremony and reception, to the late night pizza party at Legends- every step of our wedding weekend was fantastic. Finally, most importantly, everything is reasonable and affordable. Guest accommodations vary throughout, allowing your guests to stay in the best possible place for their budget. Plus, my guests were over the moon with the access to the many activities included in the Freedom Pass. We cannot recommend Waterville Valley Resort for your wedding enough!
