months ago and multiple emails aligning on the pick up times / details leading up to the day. Our vehicle arrived 40 minutes late and my now husband, his groomsmen and fathers were all forced to Uber to our wedding venue (an added cost to the already expensive transportation price tag). We were told there was an emergency, and while I hope everyone is okay, as a transportation company, I’d hope they’d be prepared to urgently send another vehicle to arrive on time to avoid ruining a client’s wedding day timeline. In addition to the tarty arrival, the wrong vehicle was sent. We received a bus and as a result, weren’t able to get any trolley photos for on wedding day which was half the reason why we contracted with way to go. The kicker? After detailing this experience and the negative impact to our wedding day, the owner was reluctant to give us any money back. They started small with coverage for the Uber rides, increased slightly after further justification and only landed on an acceptable amount because I was prepared to dispute the charge. The argument was the vehicle stayed an extra hour but they only needed to stay an extra hour because they were 45 minutes late!! I’m saddened to write this review but I was beyond sad and stressed on my wedding day, which speaks to the necessity for others to be aware of the company you’re contracting with for transportation.

e with Way To Go for our wedding transportation on August 10th, 2024. We had a pretty simple route for the driver to make rounds picking up guests from two hotels (less than 5 minutes away from each other) and then drop all guests at our wedding venue (less than 10 minutes away from the hotels). The driver, Lawanda, was to make rounds for two hours leading up to the wedding, and then return guests as needed back to the two hotels. Right before I walked down the aisle, I found out that my grandparents had not arrived yet because they had been waiting over 45 minutes for a shuttle from one of the hotels. It seemed the driver was only going to one of the hotels for a while and left my grandparents stranded. They ended up having to drive there and we had to push our ceremony start time back because of the shuttle’s mistake. I also later found out that when the driver drove from the hotel to the venue for the first time, she asked passengers where they were going as if she didn't know where she was supposed to be headed. Incredibly poor communication and planning, although I clearly laid out exactly what to do in my communication with the company. Then, at the end of the night, the driver left without bringing me and my husband (bride and groom) and our bridal party back. We were stranded at the venue and our coordinator had to call the driver and convince her to come back for us. The driver did return for us but had a very sour attitude and was incredibly rude to me and my bridal party. We tried to brush it off and enjoy the last moments of our wedding day as we rode back to the hotel. As I was getting off the bus, the driver stopped me, the bride, and proceeded to tell me how my maid of honor is the reason why she got “cussed out” and my maid of honor “got her in trouble.” I’m not sure why or how she decided to blame my maid of honor, but she took absolutely no responsibility, and had no issue being incredibly rude to me on my wedding day. Not to mention, I was there when my coordinator called her and she did not curse at the driver one single time. One of my other bridesmaids just told her “we’re not going to ruin the bride and grooms last minutes of their night, thank you” and it was left at that. Needless to say I was very disappointed with the service and outcomes from Way To Go. I’m not sure if Lawanda was new, or having an off night, or what, but her behavior was unacceptable and I had several guests tell me they were concerned for their safety while she was driving them, for those that actually did get a shuttle ride. Leading up to the wedding, everything was very professional and I felt confident in the company, but they did not follow through. It has now been 4 days since my wedding and I have not heard anything from management (who are aware there was a problem) to apologize or try to make it right. What a letdown.

He then took our bridal parties and our photographers around the arboretum to take pictures. It was so perfect and helped make our pictures run smoothly! My communication with the company prior to the event was very easy and professional. I would 100% using this company for your transportation needs!

t in all the required information. I received an email confirming all my information, credit card was processed. The wedding day comes and no bus! Fazh would not answer my calls on phone # he provided me so I finally called the company # which he finally answered. He had no idea where the bus was or any desire to rectify the situation. Call the driver was his response. She was lost, went to the wrong hotel and very unprepared to drive the 40 person bus! Hit curbs, narrowly missed parked cars, and unable to maneuver the bus in reverse. I payed for an extra hour to be sure we had time to return the guests to the hotel after the wedding because we needed 2 runs. The bus leaves at 11:20 with the first load. The bride and groom with other family members stayed behind and waited for her to return for us. After an hour I called her to find out she was lost again! We were finally picked up at 1am! Fahz gave me the run around when I called to complain about the nights events. Again, he was not willing to rectify our situation. No apology, no refund, and no return calls! I do not recommend this company

erent parts of our day. We had ceremony and reception in two different locations and the trolley was always on time and ready to go! Highly recommend the seats facing inward instead of all forward like a bus. This allowed room to walk through (and room for the dress) and some great group pictures!

Way to Go trolley, I was contacted RIGHT away. On the phone, the boss was kind, helpful, and very accommodating. I instantly felt like I was in great hands. Transportation is what keeps the wedding moving, it can make or break the day so finding a vendor that i trusted was very important to me. Fast forward to the wedding day.. I received confirmation texts from both drivers (we had a trolley and a limo) early in the morning. I appreciated those updates. Also, when they drivers were arriving to the hotel, they texted saying they arrived early. Every time they had to pick us up from somewhere, they were prompt and right where we needed them. Both drivers were EXTREMELY accommodating, kind, and you could tell they genuinely enjoy their jobs!! I was beyond impressed and so grateful for both drivers! The limo driver was giving me advice before going into the church and helped calm my nerves. The trolley bus driver was awesome as well. At the end of the night, my husband and I got stuck in the venue and were a little late coming out to the trolley. The trolley driver greeted us and didn’t make us feel bad about running a tad behind. He was so nice. Both drivers, went so far above and beyond and we are so grateful! So thank you to everyone at Way To Go Trolley for helping make our day run smoothly! I could not recommend your services enough!!

n for first look photos and then transport the whole wedding party to a few different spots downtown for photos. The booking process was easy and we were even allowed to bring our dog on the bus, she had to wear shoes but not a big deal for her, just some funny walking at first. For booking, we had to send all of the stops we wanted to do take before hand due to a Chicago ordinance. If you are taking alcohol on the bus and you are traveling into or out of Chicago city limits you have to pay for a security guard to be on the bus as well. The booking part was easy and without any hiccups. The bus arrived on time and was clean. The problems started right after arrival though. The driver claimed to not know the address of the first stop, which I confirmed was in the email with all of the stops. After one stop downtown, the driver, Dan, dropped us off at another spot and our photographer told him where to pick us up and when. When it was time to be picked up, the bus was no where near what was agreed and did not know his way around the city to get back to us. Thankfully our photographer was able to give him turn-by-turn directions. After being picked up and we were going to our next spot, driver made a complete circle back to where we were just picked up. We also sat in silence and in the dark because he was not sure how to turn the music or lights on for the back..after the lights and sound system were already on for the first trip. Overall, I would not recommend WayToGo as a transportation company. The driver was not familiar with the bus, he was not familiar with the city or the best routes to take. There were also some instances of hard brakes, swerves, and hard turns during the ride that made everyone feel uncomfortable. The price for a 6 hour charter in October with 18 people was $1987.

In addition, our photographers told us that our driver - Nicholas Sawyer - was the best trolley driver they’ve had. He knew the best routes to take, knew exactly where we were wanting get to, and even personally helped the bride and guests up and down the stairs. Highly recommend!

The buses were also supposed to run trips back to the hotel every hour (the drive was about 50 minutes round trip) and the timing was off all night. I am not sure why that happened, but at the end of our wedding the last run was supposed to occur at midnight and the shuttle didn't arrive until 12:20, leaving our guests stranded outside until he arrived. Overall the driver was not very helpful and I was not impressed with the services provided.

d rented the stretch SUV and it was spacious, well-lit, clean and had drinks when needed. I expected the price to be a little on the higher side, but it was worth it!

hot June day. It was embarrassing having my bridal party ride in it. The back of the trolley had water all over the floor, my dress and bridesmaids dresses were soaked at the bottom. It was horrible!!!Also I was told there would be ice and decorations but there wasn’t. I spent nearly $2,000, NOT WORTH IT.

The driver was reachable, punctual, and friendly. The bus was a perfect size and super clean! The one thing to not make this 5 stars is just that when there was a bigger bump on the road, it cut out the speaker a few times and we had to reset it, but other than that, it was an amazing ride and mode of transport for our big day! We would definitely recommend this company for any couple looking for an affordable, but classy, clean and fun mode of transport!

The driver jammed out with us (we almost missed the church) but he was helpful, careful, considerate, and I would not have gone with ANY other company. The best part was the Fusion Trolley. It has Limo style seating with cup holders and cushioned seats, but the antique and rustic wood trimmings as well. It was beautiful, luxurious, comfortable and a total dream come true!

It was better than what I envisioned. The driver was on time, actually early, and was very helpful getting the ladies in heels and dresses on and out. Overall, very satisfied.

e. Also, this ended up being the cheapest option of all of the other trolley companies. I had a bridal party of 20 people so I needed something more spacious. We fit very comfortably on the trolley. The owner was very responsive at all times which I really appreciated. We did have a bit of a scare though where 3 months before our wedding this company announced they would be no longer in business. This left us in a bit of a panic since we thought we had transportation set and were set on a trolley. There could have been a bit more communication on what those with reservations should do (if the company will find us new trolleys or if we're off on our own) . Two weeks later we were notified that they were back in business. The day of service was great. They came on time and nice and clean trolley. I also loved how the driver helped all the bridesmaids and me off the trolley. It was really really sweet of him. =) I'm still giving 5 stars because honestly everything from the customer service to the day of service was great and the price was right.

Thankfully they went out of business a few months before my wedding so finding another company wasn't an issue. Then, a few weeks later I got an email saying they were back in business and curious if I wanted to rebook. This seemed a bit shady to me. Needless to say, I did not rebook, but be wary if this company if you do book with them in the future.

We lucked out and found another vendor, but fast forward 2 weeks after that, Way To Go emails me again saying "Great News! I can reinstate my reservation." They acted like nothing ever happened. Save yourself the trouble and go with someone else.

They provided us with a celebratory bottle of champagne and even backed up to the door of the church to help shield me from late comers view. Also, it’s fun that the limo said “Way to Go”, it made it a fun joke as if it was placed their on purpose.
