In the words of my now-husband, "Yvette was the single best investment we could have made for our wedding day." I cannot express how absolutely blissful it was to have Yvette on-site, taking care of setup and take down, setting aside a plate of food for us, wrangling family members for photos, coordinating with the venue and photographer/videographer, and the list goes on. I only had to worry about getting myself ready -- I can't even imagine how stressed I would have been without Yvette. Leading up to the big day, Yvette was so communicative and insightful, and since she's been in the business for so long, she has tons of connections across Alaska. We can't recommend Yvette more!

My husband and I live in the lower 48 but always wanted to go back for our wedding to where it all started for us.. ALASKA! I knew I needed someone who not only loves Alaska like we do, but could handle all my visions, details and requests. Yvette was the perfect person for the job. Yvette was amazing! I did not have to worry about a thing on my wedding day. In fact, I did not think about decor or any other details the whole day. The day and decorations turned out beautiful. Yvette responded in a timely manner every time and she even drove all the way to Girdwood the day before the wedding for the rehearsal.

We didn’t know what a Day Of Planner was, until a few friends that had recently gotten married filled us in. Boy, is it worth every penny! Yvette and her team had the challenge of working 2 separate venues on our day, in a record breaking snow storm. They seamlessly made the impossible, possible. Not only is she kind and reassuring in moments of high stress, but she truly executed our winter wedding decor perfectly. Thanks Yvette!

Yvette and her team is a superstar. She did all that we asked and was calm and collected on the day itself, when it was the rainiest day in Alaska and she had to move all the decorations to another room floors down. Oh Yvette… she is an absolute ANGEL! Yvette was my month of coordinator and my wedding was a dream :’) She took care of decor, my bridesmaids, my hubby, and me! She hand fed me cupcakes during my wedding photoshoot because I hadn’t eaten all day! I didn’t have enough flowers for my groomsman and she made flowers out of my centerpieces! Ugh I can’t even begin to explain how grateful I am for her. She is very kind and understanding how stressful weddings can be. I recommend Yvette to anyone I know who needs help with their weddings. I haven't gotten the chance to hire Yvette, YET, for a personal event but as a fellow wedding vendor I have had the opportunity to work with her many times professionally and I couldn't recommend her more. Yvette was a HUGE help during our wedding planning process! She was technically our “day of” coordinator, but assisted us with so many details during the wedding planning process. During the year leading up to our wedding, Yvette was always available to answer questions and quick to recommend great vendors. She offered to help with whatever we needed and even made several things things for our reception, like a donut wall, seating chart, and ribbon wands for our send-off. She also made us a detailed timeline to ensure that the entire wedding day ran smoothly. Weddings can be stressful, but I was able to fully enjoy my day without any worries because I knew that Yvette was on top of everything! My husband and I worked with Yvette for our destination wedding in July 2021. Yvette was our day of coordinator but she definitely went above and beyond to help us. I was in contact with Yvette constantly leading up to our wedding with questions / exchanging information. Yvette helped us set up our welcome cocktail event and even brought flowers for us. I absolutely fell in love with Yvette the moment I met her!!! There are no amount of words to describe how amazing she is!!! From getting in contact with vendors, to finding inspiration from my pinterest board and creating masterpiece of a wedding, to making sure I ate the day of the wedding, to taking care of my son and putting him down for a nap. She is super woman and she was born to be a wedding planner. 100% recommend. Because of her and the other vendors, my day was absolutely perfect.

My husband and I originally planned to get married in July 2020, and since neither of us are from Alaska (we just wanted a destination wedding!), we decided to hire a wedding planner. After a few searches, referrals, and interviews, he and I chose Yvette to help us. Best. Choice. Ever. From day one, she helped us with contacting venues, searching for vendors, and finding things to do in Alaska - and all for an incredibly reasonable price! The kicker though was when we had to postpone our wedding due to COVID. All this preparation was put on hold for a few months, but when we contacted Yvette again to reschedule for January 2021, she jumped right on to start up where we left off! The pandemic kept switching our plans on a weekly basis: from which weekend to get married, to expected guest turnout, to changing our wedding from a full ceremony to an elopement. Even during the week before the wedding, our timeline on the day of had to be altered. And every step of the way, Yvette was there. I don’t understand how she managed to be in so many places at once, but she was! Besides floating between my “get ready” room and my husband’s on the wedding day, she also picked up our cakes from the shop, ordered and brought our florals and greenery, and kept in constant contact with our photographer and videographer to ensure that the day went smoothly. I never heard any negativity from her, even when she had to drive many miles and hours for us! I wish I could remember every little thing Yvette did for us, but it was so much. All I know is that our wedding could not have gone as smoothly as it did without her. She was flexible, understanding, organized, professional, kind, and went above and beyond to make our day special and memorable. I started this whole process with a wedding planner, and I came out of it with a dear friend. Stress free wedding day thanks to Yvette! Yvette is awesome! She came on as our day of coordinator one week before our wedding and took charge and made sure everything was perfect! You can tell she’s very experienced, and making her brides and grooms day go smoothly is her top priority. I highly recommend her!

We hired Yvette for our wedding in May and she was amazing to work with. We had a vision in mind for our wedding before we met with her, and she made it all come to life. Several of our vendors also mentioned how much they enjoyed working with Yvette as well. She saved the day so many times when things got misplaced- she was always ready to help but also didn’t make herself too obvious during the wedding and reception. Yvette was wonderful to work with and she helped me find all the things that I needed to recreate my vision board. Her and her husband even custom built an ice cream stand for my ice cream bar. She was easy to get a hold of when I needed her and willing to meet me to review my sketches and notes. I was able to hand off tasks to her, which definitely helped make planning much smoother. Dear Bride & Groom, Our wedding ceremony was held in Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish. Our ceremony was a traditional Filipino Catholic wedding consisting of a huge wedding entourage. Our wedding reception was held in Downtown Marriott Hotel. Both the ceremony and reception was a great success because of Yvette's diligent work and attention to detail. It was not easy organizing over 70 people to walk down the aisle for our ceremony and seating over 300 guests correctly for our reception, but Yvette did this without difficulty.When unexpected problems arose, Yvette handled them confidently and smoothly, leaving us to enjoy our wedding day. Yvette was not only our wedding planner but also our dance instructor and choreographer. We wanted our first dance to consist of a slow traditional dance, but with a twist in the middle, with us breaking into a fun dance song. Hiring a professional dance instructor was over our budget. Yvette took the initiative to create a dance ensemble that would be perfect for us. We are both not dancers, but Yvette was very calm and patient with us during our dance lessons. Our first dance was a hit and had many compliments from our guests about how great our dance was and how we had surprised them. It made our first dance so much more special. Hiring Yvette to coordinate our wedding was one of the best decisions we made in planning our wedding. Yvette's kindness and calm presence made it easy and a pleasure to work with her. Her professional manner and knowledge of event coordination and planning made our wedding day special and memorable. Her organization skills, creative ideas, attention to details, and impressive dance choreography made our vision of a perfect wedding a reality. Looking back now, I don't believe I could have done all my wedding planning without Yvette! Even in some moments that I caught myself frustrated she reassured me this was my day and it was going to be okay. And It was, I had an amazing time working with her.
