We took four lessons with her, and she met us exactly where we were as beginners.   We sent her our song, and she created a beautiful, elegant choreography that fit us perfectly. She somehow managed to make us look like much more confident dancers than we ever expected to be. We received so many compliments on our first dance at our wedding, and we owe that entirely to Miki.   What really sets Miki apart is her teaching style. She is incredibly patient, kind, and encouraging. She never made us feel embarrassed when we missed a step or forgot the choreography. Instead, she made every lesson fun, relaxed, and something we genuinely looked forward to. She has a way of explaining things that makes learning feel easy, and she created such a calm, comfortable environment that our nerves disappeared almost immediately.   She also truly cared about us beyond just teaching the dance. She was excited for our wedding, checked in with us afterward, and made us feel like more than just another couple on her schedule. That personal touch meant so much to us.   The private studio space was another huge plus. Having a comfortable, completely private room to practice made the experience so much less intimidating. In addition to our first dance, my husband also took three lessons with his mom for their mother-son dance. Miki was just as wonderful with them, tailoring the lessons to their comfort level and making sure they felt confident and had fun together.   I genuinely cannot recommend Miki enough. Whether you're an experienced dancer or someone who has never danced before, she will make you feel comfortable, confident, and excited. She gave us one of our favorite memories from our wedding, and we're so grateful we found her. Five stars isn't enough!
