With an extensive rental inventory, project management software, and in-house floral design, we help make the planning process seamless. We serve Utah and beyond!
Wedding Expectations has helped to plan over 200 weddings across the greater Salt Lake City area and Park City. We pride ourselves on going above and beyond for our couples, and our reviews show it. We offer a range of wedding packages, from coordination to full planning. Packages can be tailored to your particular needs. The partial planning package helps you put the finishing touches on your wedding arrangements and includes assistance with design and decor. Our coordination package lets you focus your attention on your big day without worrying about the details. A full-service planning package is also available for those who want to pass off more of the decision-making. This is a great option for couples who wish to benefit from expert assistance through the entire planning process. Planning - Samantha was fantastic at helping us plan and execute our wedding. She was timely in her communication throughout the entire process - she always responded to my emails within 1-2 days and was always available to jump on a call to talk about whatever I needed to discuss. I also thought all of the vendors she recommended were very high quality, which was critical for us because we were planning this wedding from out of state. She is also detail oriented and calm, which are two qualities that are critical for this job! On the day of our wedding, Samantha took care of everything in terms of vendor arrivals, set up, and tear down. She even handed out blankets to our guests when it started to get chilly in the evening!
Floral - I was extremely impressed with the florals that Wedding Expectations did for us. The style that I requested was somewhat unique and was a bit different from most of the pictures that Wedding Expectations had on their website (less greenery than normal and somewhat whimsical, for example). Despite the more unique design, the W.E. team really listened to what I was looking for and executed wonderfully. Rebecca also made some suggestions during the design process about certain flower types to add and remove which also really improved the outcome. Lastly, when it was raining during our wedding day set up, the W.E. team ensured the outdoor flowers were not damaged.

It was such a huge stress relief knowing that they would be taking care of all the details and directing everyone on the wedding day. I was truly able to enjoy my wedding day because of these two. I would happily recommend them to anyone! I also worked with Melissa, lead floral designer, who helped me make some last-minute changes and she nailed what I had envisioned. nator Skyli was literally the best thing on my wedding day other than my husband. Her and her assistant Megan were absolute perfection. They made the day run sooo smoothly and did everything to make our day stress free and beautiful. I cannot say enough about them. They made my dream vision come to life at our gorgeous venue and fixed any hiccups that came along without us feeling stressed at all. The made the whole day flow perfectly. All of the decor we brought was packed up perfectly and put into the vehicles they came in and we could just leave knowing everything was taken care of. Skyli & Megan are two of the sweetest and caring people that make you feel so special and take such good care of you, your guests and your vendors. I honestly didn't worry at all about decorations on the day, because I knew Megan, her assistant, and the florist Rebecca Thomas, had it handled. I trusted them completely. The ballroom looked absolutely gorgeous when we entered for our reception. They took care of things I didn't even think about like making sure we always had drinks during photos and socializing and making sure cards and gifts were safe and sound. If you want a calm, smooth wedding Megan will make it happen!

For the most part, we did opted to pick out our own vendors but they had a great list to choose from. We talked over zoom a handful of times and Rebecca was able to keep things organized and even helped us plan stuff we hadn’t really thought through. Ultimately they made the wedding a breeze. People are usually stressed in the weeks coming up to the wedding but everything was sorted out and we didn’t have to worry about things the day of. They have many packages that fit all types of budgets and they have a lot of equipment/decor you can rent. We highly recommend Wedding Expectations!!

She was able to define that vision with some discussion and pintrest images and everything really came together for us exactly how we wanted it! We especially loved our floral arrangements- she came up with multiple different centerpiece ideas and we got so many compliments on them! It was invaluable to have a planner there the day of our wedding and I felt like all we had to do on the day of was show up and enjoy our day! At one point after dancing, a piece of lace on my dress began to come loose and she had a little emergency kit that was able to get the dress back together- wedding dress disaster avoided. en a few weeks before the wedding we had a long phone call to discuss all of the details. Rebecca was very thorough and asked good questions in advance. She coordinated with our other vendors as needed and attended the rehearsal to make sure she knew the plan. Wedding day went great, no issues came up that I am aware of, and she handled everything without asking me any questions! The whole day flowed perfectly.
Most importantly, Rebecca provided me with all of the last minute help and the peace of mind that I needed. One example - the week before the wedding we needed a sweetheart table and tablecloth that we initially thought another vendor would provide, I freaked out, then emailed Rebecca, and she just handled it. She was always kind, responsive, on top of things, and a pleasure to work with.

r fees, but I certainly got what I paid for. She was unorganized & unprofessional. She gave a lot of reassurance (aka “lip service”) that things would come together, but she never came through on her responsibilities. I had my doubts about her abilities, so I literally did her job for her—I typed out every single detail of the wedding decor for her (where the cake should go, how many candles per table, etc.). She blatantly disregarded it all. Not only did it look like she just threw the decor together, but my guests actually arrived before the ceremony was even set up. Having her at the wedding was additionally stressful because I was constantly asking her to do her job and keep things organized.
She did not keep the wedding/dinner/reception on schedule (a timeline that I provided for her). I paid extra for her to bring along “assistants,” though she solicited my wedding party to pack things up and take down the venue at the end of the night. The most egregious part is the fact that she threw away thousands and thousands of dollars worth of flowers (including my bridal bouquet!) despite being told by multiple people that we were saving all the flowers.
I would never, ever recommend anyone to work with this company.
