I don't even know where to begin! My daughters 1st appointment went well, found her dress and was advised to come back 2 months later to be to order. We go back (keep in mind we live a little over an hour away) to order and all still seems ok.... The dress comes in, they are relocating so we have to go get the dress because they did not want it to get lost in transition. When it is time to take the dress back for the 1st alteration, they ordered the dress 4x's to BIG!!! The "seamstress" (I would not give her that title) pulls, tucks, and pins. We are then scheduled to be back in 2 weeks. We make the trip for the 2nd fitting...this is supposed to be for the hem. NOT EVEN CLOSE!!! There was so much material that the dress was gaping at the bust, there was not enough pulled in on the sides, my daughter was in tears!!! So admitting (by the owner Geri) that they ordered the wrong size and have no idea why, they pull the "USED" floor sample off the rack that has been tried on by 27,000 people. There is only 1 month to wedding so we have to make this work. There is not enough time to order. Keep in mind there are holes in the mesh, threads hanging everywhere, and spots on the dress. All this was pointed out and we were advised the dress will be perfect! Knowing that I should not have to pay full price for this used dress, Geri said she will take care of the alterations. Do I think it should have been a little more, sure but at this point I just wanted my daughters perfect dress. 2 weeks to weeks to wedding we go back for what should have been the perfect dress. Not even close. All the imperfections that were pointed out...STILL THERE!! NONE OF THEM HAD BEEN FIXED!!! The hem was done and that was it!! She was supposed to fixed the bust, pull out the " standard pad" and put in new, the new padding was in there, but the old was not taken out. The holes in the mesh...STILL THERE, the threads hanging everywhere...yup STILL THERE, spots on the dress...correct, still there. So she can slap a piece of lace over the hole, and wipe the spots...we just need to give her 20 minutes. I am so furious at this point!!! When she comes back out to get us...I point out spots that are still on the dress. I just want to get out of here so I can take the dress to our local seamstress and have something done! As we are heading out, she wants to ring me up for alterations...I remind her that due to the SHIT SHOW we had been through, that is the 1 thing Geri was going to take care of. She stated that was for the original dress...woah, I am sorry, excuse me!!! So you were going to charge me alteration fees for a dress that YOU screwed up...you have lost your mind!!! Needless to say, I paid full rice for the "USED" dress, have to have it dry cleaned and pay my local alteration lady. The dress is the most important piece for the bride and Wedding Expressions by Geri RUINED that for my daughter!!! Brides...if you are looking for a good experience for your big day, DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!
