212 Main Street West, New Prague, MN
Originally built in 1898 by Bohemian Immigrant Wenceslaus S. Broz, the building was designed by famed architect Cass Gilbert, who is most known for the design of the Minnesota capitol building. While The Broz may be listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the building has been completely restored to bring it to the 21st-century wedding standard. Located on the main street of New Prague, The Broz emanates a Victorian, yet refreshingly modernized interior design. The inside of the Broz boasts a warm and welcoming atmosphere with its light oaks, brick fireplace, and wrought iron railings. The stained glass, original tin ceilings, and original prohibition-era bar are all staples in The Broz history that its guests make part of their own history. Having your wedding at The Broz includes all the luxuries of having a whole hotel to yourself. Access to a ballroom hall large enough to seat 300 people, completely separate bridal and groom suites, a modern commercial kitchen, and a large patio made entirely of reclaimed bricks. The venue utilizes all of these in conjunction with its respective exclusive catering options. Catering options include Apples 2 Apples, Distinctive Catering and Events, and This Little Piggy Catering with bar service provided by Hitch & Sip. Each of these options offers anything from strictly local, organic options, to plated fine dining.
