Minnesota's #1 wedding location, for its unparalleled amenities and gorgeous ambience for your one-of-a-kind day. Originally built in 1898 by Bohemian Immigrant Wenceslaus S. Broz, the building was designed by famed architect Cass Gilbert, who is most known for the design of the Minnesota capitol building. While The Broz may be listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the building has been completely restored to bring it to the 21st-century wedding aesthetic. Located on the main street of New Prague, The Broz emanates a Victorian, yet refreshingly modernized interior design. The inside of the Broz boasts a warm and welcoming atmosphere with its light oaks, grand staircases, brick fireplace, and wrought iron railings. The stained glass, original tin ceilings, and original prohibition-era bar are all staples in The Broz history that its guests make part of their own history. Having your wedding at The Broz includes all the luxuries of having a whole "hotel" to yourself. Access to a ballroom hall large enough to seat 300 people, completely separate bridal and groom (and family!) suites, a modern commercial kitchen, and a large heated patio made entirely of reclaimed bricks. The venue utilizes all of these in conjunction with its respective exclusive catering options. Exclusive catering options make working with us even easier. Choose from award-winning options at Apples 2 Apples Catering, Distinctive Catering and This Little Piggy Catering (with stylish bar service provided by Hitch & Sip!).
