hey only had them in a size 8. Which in real sizes is a 4-6. The lady helping with my fitting kept sighing when my family pulled dresses. Did not want to help me when I asked if it came in other colors. Overall, even though I found a dress I would’ve picked. I refused to go back into the store. If it was this bad during the selection process, I could not imagine fitting and alterations.

The very first dress she gave me to try on was the dress I ended up saying yes to! All the dresses here were so luxurious and I couldn't have picked a better place.

Not only did they open up the keyhole back to a V back, they added a customized bow we designed together, and also added lace to the sides. They also helped measure and order a veil. Denise made the process of picking out a dress so fun and memorable, AJ was so impressive and friendly with her knowledge and expertise, and Chantelle was amazing at working so closely with me through the alterations process! I highly recommend Weddings by Debbie and will miss going there so often now!

ost bad retail experiences starts at the top with a poor store culture and/or poor training. That being said, my one star rating for our experience at this store is warranted and we indeed are "staying away". I can only tell you what happened to us, if you can tolerate it, stay. If not, look elsewhere. My future daughter-in-law spoke with staff from this location multiple times asking questions, as she does not live in the Houston area. It is a $35 flat charge just for an appointment. Not a deal breaker as wedding costs goes. The complete elitist arrogance of the staff on multiple calls was inexcusable. She was told she couldn't afford anything in their store and to look elsewhere. When in fact, she is a doctor and with a deceased mother, I was paying for everything and can indeed "afford" anything in the store. What high end retail establishment does that? Red flag. To assume that any credit card from the bride is not valid and to tell her so, is a culture of snobbish arrogance rarely seen in retail. Red flag 2. As a customer, you have to ask yourself, if they can't even handle phone transactions professionally, how in the world are they going to handle any major problems that arise with a wedding deadline and all the stress that brings. With that in mind, I convinced the bride to cancel the charges and appointment, which she was hung up on as she attempted to complete the transaction. We will never patronize this store again. I personally drove to the store to address the complete and utter disrespect exhibited by the staff and demanded an apology phone call to the bride. It was in fact done; however, the joy of the occasion was complete lost. Weddings are stressful enough. Don't allow any vendor to steal the joy of the occasion. Go elsewhere.

was a little disappointed in the amount of gowns you were able to try on, but with the pandemic most stores are like this. After purchasing my dress the experience was even better. The alterations department was quick, helpful, and listened to exactly what I wanted. They delivered me a perfect fitting gown and I got so many compliments on all of it. They were even helpful in trying to find me jewelry and accessories even if it wasn't at their store. I was very impressed and would recommend this be on your list for a place to look for your dress!

She and her manager made sure I could get the dress in time for shipping and alterations in light of my short time window before I purchased. The alterations process was also incredible - Chantelle was super nice and runs a very busy department with great poise and organization! I was amazed at how much she was juggling yet always with grace and a big smile and incredible attention to detail. My seamstress Idalia was an artist - I was amazed that she was able to get my dress to fit me perfectly after only 2 fittings! I was so happy with how I looked in my dress, the fit and alterations far exceeded my expectations! Through the entire process I felt at ease and confident I'd be happy with what I would get in the end, and I was! I would definitely recommend Weddings by Debbie to any bride - they will take care of you and make sure you don't worry about your dress, which is so important!

eautiful on the inside! I went shopping about a year before my wedding and brought all of my bridesmaids with me. Everyone was so kind to us and made me feel special. We each picked out some dresses for me to try on and I found my dress on the 4th one I tried on. I still tried on others to be sure, but was sold already! My consultant was super sweet and made sure I felt my absolute best. My dress took a couple of months to come in and I had 3 alterations appointments. I absolutely loved the alterations department - everyone was so professional and ensured the dress fit me perfectly. My dress came out beautiful and I was so happy with the alterations. I felt like a princess and would strongly recommend getting your dress from here!

starting. Horrible first wedding dress shopping experience! The consultant let my mom, sister, and myself begin walking around the store to pick out dresses. Halfway through the store she informed me that I could only try on SEVEN dresses during my entire appointment time...I had no idea there was this rule, nor did the consultant inform before the appointment started. By this time I already had about 10 to 12 dresses picked out to try on. She did nothing to make me feel special. I felt like she was just trying to move on to her next client. I did not find my dress at this store, but I knew after the first 15 minutes I did not want to buy my dress from this location based off my experience alone. At the end of my appointment, she asked if I had any other set up and in her very not professional self, went on to tell us who their biggest competitor was in The Woodlands. Let me say this - Weddings by Debbie has nothing on Brickhouse Bridal - Brickhouse Bridal is in their own playing field, especially when it comes to customer service, gown selection, and overall experience. Would not recommend this wedding dress store for the experience alone!

The visit was amazing and they found the exact style of dresses that I was looking for! They were open and helpful about everything. Our appointment was amazing and I found the dress of my dreams within a reasonable budget! The staff were phenomenal in communicating any changes or questions! It was super easy to reach them as well. Loved the dress, loved the team and loved the experience! Will highly recommend to anyone looking for a wedding dress of their dreams!

After my initial try on with my sized dress, I decided that I wanted to add cap sleeves to my sleeveless dress. The seamstress was able to find the perfect lace to match the rest of my dress and add the sleeves. The sleeves fit great and it looked like the dress was made that way, she did an incredible job. Weddings by Debbie was able to accomodate many of my requests with the dress and I ended up with a perfectly fitted, stunning dress!

The quality of their dresses is spectacular, the size range is amazing, and their customer service is seriously unmatched. Beautiful dresses, beautiful souls working there. d had no clue where to start. She was patient with me and helped me figure out what style of dress I liked. We then found a dress that I fell in love with! Weddings By Debbie also did all of my alterations. I could not thank them enough for all of their amazing and hard work!! They added some fabric to make the dress more modest for me, built custom sleeves, and filled in the open back. By the time all of it was done - I couldn’t help but cry with excitement. It was definitely a dress out of a fairy tale!! I highly recommend Weddings by Debbie to anyone looking for their wedding dress!!

if we hadn’t shown up it would have been a $50 fee. It was rather crowded when we got there, and we waited for about 15-20 minutes before our consultant took us back. TO BE FAIR, it was a Saturday. My consultant was very helpful and allowed my matrons of honor and I to do the picking--she wasn’t pushy like other consultants I’d had that day. Once we went back, we were almost overwhelmed by the selection! There were specific areas that had certain price points, which was helpful. My dress ended up being the fifth or sixth one that I tried on- a Maggie Sottero gown. Though I didn’t purchase any accessories, they had plenty to choose from and I was able to try on my gown along with similar accessories to what I was already planning on wearing in order to get the entire picture. I ordered my gown that day after getting measured, on October 27th. They told me it’d be about March before the dress came in, but they called me January 5th telling me that the dress was in whenever I’d like to come in and try it on. It was easy to make an appointment to try it on that worked with my schedule. I went in and tried it on with my accessories, and then made an appointment for alterations to begin. They were apprehensive about starting alterations so early and had me sign a waiver, but they did allow me to start alterations in March for a November wedding. My alterations were completed in April so that I could take my bridal portraits in June before I moved across the country. When I took my gown for the bridals, there was a $70ish charge for steaming prior (which was optional, I chose to have it steamed because of the style of the dress) and (because I took my bridals outdoors after it had rained) I did pay to have them clean it afterwards. However, they stored and steamed my gown free of charge before my mother picked it up the Thursday before the wedding! They also recommended a cleaning/preserving service and if I use them, I can get a certain amount off. Overall, I was very happy with Weddings by Debbie and I absolutely ADORE my dress!

ay they take measurements are as if they are purposely trying to put you in a larger size, probably to make extra money off of alterations. Majority of my bridesmaids ended up with dresses that were too big; how does that happen when they were all fitted in the store? Would not go back here and would not recommend.

also took advantage of the 15% discount on Bridesmaids dresses by having my bridesmaids shop here. That was also a wonderful experience. Jen is so helpful and genuinely caring. I am happy she was always there when I dropped by with one of my bridesmaids because we needed a lot of help. No matter how busy the store was she was always friendly and accommodating.

stating that I’m a 12/14 and curvy and they said we have plenty of dresses don’t worry. I said are you sure I wear 12/14 in regular dresses and I have a deadline in December I have to meet I’m on a time crunch. Yet again, they assured me that they cater to plus sizes because they don’t carry dresses in smaller sizes because it’s hard to find people to fit in them. It was the TOTAL OPPOSITE. They only cater to skinny with no curves. And wasted my time. On top of that there staff had an attitude and was not wanting to help me at all and made me feel like I was wasting my time and it was an inconvenience for me being there. After leaving there extremely upset because I was told before hand they had plenty of sizes from 0-32. We called around and found this dress shop 10 min. Away called Misora Bridal Boutique, they had the exact dresses I wanted in my size pulled and waiting me before I walked in the door, completely last minute. And catered in sizes to women that have curves, not only that but offered us drinks had put us in a big nice try on area (not stuck in a corner with barely any seating at weddings be Debbie) the second dress I tried on from Misora Bridal Boutique fit like a glove. It was amazing and was the same dress from the other shop but it was in my size and for $3,000.00 less that what Weddings by Debbie was selling it for.

Chantel, who's in charge of alterations is the reason why I can't rant and rave enough about Weddings by Debbie! She made me feel so important and beautiful every appointment! e went over it again and her and I both looked through the racks of dresses to find what I was looking for. After trying on a few dresses I found "the one" and had my say yes to the dress moment! The manager measured me and recommended what size to buy. When the dress came in, it fit PERFECTLY!!! ( I know this doesn't happen often, but the manager did a great job with my measurements and size recommendation). The only alterations I needed were the hem and bustle. The alteration process was great for me and were exactly what I wanted every time. I would definitely recommend going to Weddings by Debbie to look for your dress!

d by far the best selection! The moment you walk into the bridal salon you feel special and feel like you are a bride :-) I worked with Jean as my consultant and she was extremely helpful! She Helped me feel confident in all of the dresses I tried on and really encouraged me to choose the dress that made me happy :-) When my bridesmaids came into town to narrow down which dress we were going to pick there was no doubt in my mind that we would find it at Debbie’s. The dress I ended up getting couldn’t have been more perfect and I only saw it at Debbie’s! Going through the accessory selection process as well as all the alterations was a breeze! It was all able to be done at weddings by Debbie which made it a one stop shop for a lot of my bridal needs. Once my dress came in I was able to schedule a second appointment to do my accessory selection, which was fantastic! One more great thing is that Debbie’s will store your wedding dress free of charge until your wedding date! Definitely made me happy that I didn’t have to worry about my groom accidentally seen my dress at our house. me in on a Saturday after being added to the wait list. I read on the website of the rule "cannot allow any children 12 or younger", which to me read standard for a bridal salon. I came with my fiance's family ready to try on dresses. Once inside, there's a small tiny sign that says "no babies, no strollers." My future sister in law had her 6 month old infant with her. I had been to bridal salons before, and of course you do not want toddlers/children running around touching the dresses, but I had never seen a business turn away a woman with an infant. I made note that the website said "Children under 12" which I interpreted as not newborn infants (whom are being breast fed presumably) and aren't necessarily able to be separated for the 2 hour+ appointments. Still, she was turned away because of my 6 month old future niece. They wouldn't budge. We got off to an awful start, and she was sweet enough to wait in the car for us. I didn't want to be charged for the appointment, so I continued on trying dresses. My saleswoman told me where each brand was, then left me to pick dresses myself. We had previously spoken on the phone, but once in the store she didn't ask me what style I wanted, what price pointed I wanted to be at, give me any direction towards any type of dresses. Once I flagged her down after aimlessly wandering around the store and realizing every dress I was choosing was out of my budget, she then helped me. I tried on a handful of beautiful dresses, however the clips they use provide 0 support. The dresses kept slipping off of me (and I'm not a twig - about a size 6) and I could not get a good "idea" of what the dress would look like due to the baggy fits - whereas other salons do their best to make it fit as well as they can. I'm thankful for my helpful saleswoman and her kindness, however not impressed with the women working at the front, the lack of "no infants, no strollers" on the website (which I would like to recommend they now include for clarity - or simply allow newborns inside.), and would like to suggest investing in new, heavier duty clips that can actually hold the dresses on those whom are smaller sizes.

First of all, I noticed from the beginning that Janette wanted to respect my budget and timeline (because my wedding is very close). She was really knowledgeable about which brands were in my budget and could be ordered in time. She knew which designers could expedite the orders and where they shipped from. She knew everything about their dresses, and they have a lot of them! Janette was so patient and nice when I felt indecisive. She even grabbed more dresses when I wasn't loving the ones I picked out. Janette helped me find the perfect dress and even helped me stay under budget. They scheduled me for a two hour appointment, and I thought that was excessive. After really enjoying my experience there I can see how they take their time really working with their clients to make sure you're happy. I am confident that you will love your experience here. They also have an excellent array of formal gowns for your bridal party!

I wanted to be sure it was my dress and went to another salon downtown and during that appointment I realized my dress was at Debbie's. So we called back and told them we were on our way! They stayed open a few extra minutes so I could get my dream dress that same day. I appreciate everything they did for me and I felt beautiful on my wedding day. Thank you!!!

were answered and they made it easy for my bridesmaid who couldn't come in to send her sizes for her dress. HOWEVER, that's where it ends. My Maid of Honor is 5'10" and we requested an extra 5 inches of fabric on her dress. I watched them write it on our order form. The dresses came in and it turns out they didn't tell the designer we ordered the extra length. Now my MOH is out $100 for the shoes she bought and can't wear. Not only that, the only response from the manager was "Sorry honey." We weren't offered a discount, refund, or even tailoring free of charge for the inconvenience.

She did an incredible job during the appointment by helping me narrow down my search, making suggestions of styles of dress I should look at, and was very respectful of the budget we set forth. I was able to find the perfect dress at my first appointment! Their alterations group also did a great job, and was very attentive throughout the alterations process. I highly recommend because they have the largest dress selection in the area and have an in-house alterations group that will make your dress fit to perfection!
