Weddings by Debbie is a staple in the Houston area. They have been around for a very long time. The customer service from day one was top notch. My stylist was very helpful in choosing dresses I was interested in but also opened me up too try something I did not think I would like. I ended up saying YES to the second dress I tried on. From buying the dress, to all of the fittings, everyone was so easy and great to work with. I highly recommend them for your wedding dress!

Weddings by Debbie truly helped me to find the wedding dress that made me feel like a beautiful bride! They make you feel special the moment you walk into the store. They have a huge collection of dresses available. I was planning a wedding out of state and they always accommodated my fittings for when I was in town. The process for alterations was flawless and my dress was stunning! Thank you all for being part of my special day!

First of all, whatever Debbie and her daughter have going on at WBD, KEEP IT UP! I have never been so thankful for two humans. My dress was perfect from the minute I tried it on. Also, Mrs. Jan helped me into my dress AND wrote me a thank you card for shopping with them! How kind! I will refer all friends there, and the employees were just as excited as we were for finding my dress as well as picking it up for bridals and my wedding day. I love the family here, and can't wait to go back for try-ons with my new friend!

I walked in not knowing I was going to find my dress that same day. Denise was the greatest! I cannot describe how great she was and sooo helpful. She asked me to send her pictures of what I wanted and she had dresses that looked just like the pictures ready for me. I tried on about 12 dresses but she was so great. The very first dress she gave me to try on was the dress I ended up saying yes to! All the dresses here were so luxurious and I couldn't have picked a better place.

As a COVID postponed 3x wedding bride, I had the pleasure of working with Weddings by Debbie for many years! They made every step of the way extremely enjoyable and seamless. I had a very clear vision of the dress I wanted, and they helped me bring that to life by customizing one of their dresses very specifically to what I asked for! Not only did they open up the keyhole back to a V back, they added a customized bow we designed together, and also added lace to the sides. They also helped measure and order a veil. Denise made the process of picking out a dress so fun and memorable, AJ was so impressive and friendly with her knowledge and expertise, and Chantelle was amazing at working so closely with me through the alterations process! I highly recommend Weddings by Debbie and will miss going there so often now!

I am not a big believer in writing bad reviews for anything. First, there is no pleasing some people. Second, staff of all kinds have bad days too. It has been my experience that most bad retail experiences starts at the top with a poor store culture and/or poor training. That being said, my one star rating for our experience at this store is warranted and we indeed are "staying away". I can only tell you what happened to us, if you can tolerate it, stay. If not, look elsewhere. My future daughter-in-law spoke with staff from this location multiple times asking questions, as she does not live in the Houston area. It is a $35 flat charge just for an appointment. Not a deal breaker as wedding costs goes. The complete elitist arrogance of the staff on multiple calls was inexcusable. She was told she couldn't afford anything in their store and to look elsewhere. When in fact, she is a doctor and with a deceased mother, I was paying for everything and can indeed "afford" anything in the store. What high end retail establishment does that? Red flag. To assume that any credit card from the bride is not valid and to tell her so, is a culture of snobbish arrogance rarely seen in retail. Red flag 2. As a customer, you have to ask yourself, if they can't even handle phone transactions professionally, how in the world are they going to handle any major problems that arise with a wedding deadline and all the stress that brings. With that in mind, I convinced the bride to cancel the charges and appointment, which she was hung up on as she attempted to complete the transaction. We will never patronize this store again. I personally drove to the store to address the complete and utter disrespect exhibited by the staff and demanded an apology phone call to the bride. It was in fact done; however, the joy of the occasion was complete lost. Weddings are stressful enough. Don't allow any vendor to steal the joy of the occasion. Go elsewhere.

Not the most affordable place but definitely the best! The variety of designers and the ability of the workers the accommodate my each and every need (this was many) goes beyond compare and this company deserves all the recognition and praise in the world for this. Thanks again for everything!

The building/layout felt exciting at first. I drove out bc the lady helping me said they carried the dresses I wanted. I showed up and they didn’t have one out of the 8 they told me they did. When i tried on the dresses that were there they felt like the fabric was less than ideal and felt costumey. Wasn’t for me

I have been to this store with friends before, but I was happy to finally have my own chance to shop for dresses. The staff was super helpful and they have such a wide selection. I was a little disappointed in the amount of gowns you were able to try on, but with the pandemic most stores are like this. After purchasing my dress the experience was even better. The alterations department was quick, helpful, and listened to exactly what I wanted. They delivered me a perfect fitting gown and I got so many compliments on all of it. They were even helpful in trying to find me jewelry and accessories even if it wasn't at their store. I was very impressed and would recommend this be on your list for a place to look for your dress!

Love this dress shop so much! Almost all my friend's and I have been Weddings by Debbie Brides! There is such an assortment of dresses and the associates are never pushy about getting you to purchase anything you don't love. The alterations were perfect, and I was 100% listened to the entire alterations process. I had to postpone my wedding from June 2020 till April 2021, and they even kept my dress the entire time! Seriously great service!

I got my wedding dress from WBD and I had an amazing time saying yes to the dress moment. My consultant, my mom, my sister, and I were walking around choosing dresses and all were very beautiful. I tried on about 7 dresses and narrowed down to 3 to see which one was the best for me and my budget. I felt like a queen and I got the dress I wanted from Essence of Australia. I love the experience from WBD!

I got my wedding dress from WBD and loved the entire experience! They are so organized and knowledgable of the process, I always felt taken care of, especially since I only had a few months to get my dress (which they made work!). Denise helped me find my dress and was so kind, fun, and knowledgeable of their dresses. She and her manager made sure I could get the dress in time for shipping and alterations in light of my short time window before I purchased. The alterations process was also incredible - Chantelle was super nice and runs a very busy department with great poise and organization! I was amazed at how much she was juggling yet always with grace and a big smile and incredible attention to detail. My seamstress Idalia was an artist - I was amazed that she was able to get my dress to fit me perfectly after only 2 fittings! I was so happy with how I looked in my dress, the fit and alterations far exceeded my expectations! Through the entire process I felt at ease and confident I'd be happy with what I would get in the end, and I was! I would definitely recommend Weddings by Debbie to any bride - they will take care of you and make sure you don't worry about your dress, which is so important!

My dress was absolutely gorgeous! I received so many compliments!

Weddings by Debbie was the only Salon I went to when looking for a wedding dress. I was wanting a Maggie Sottero dress and I knew this salon had what I was looking for and looked beautiful on the inside! I went shopping about a year before my wedding and brought all of my bridesmaids with me. Everyone was so kind to us and made me feel special. We each picked out some dresses for me to try on and I found my dress on the 4th one I tried on. I still tried on others to be sure, but was sold already! My consultant was super sweet and made sure I felt my absolute best. My dress took a couple of months to come in and I had 3 alterations appointments. I absolutely loved the alterations department - everyone was so professional and ensured the dress fit me perfectly. My dress came out beautiful and I was so happy with the alterations. I felt like a princess and would strongly recommend getting your dress from here!

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Weddings by Debbie is not worth an appointment. This was my first store for wedding dress shopping and I wanted to leave within ten minutes of my appointment starting. Horrible first wedding dress shopping experience! The consultant let my mom, sister, and myself begin walking around the store to pick out dresses. Halfway through the store she informed me that I could only try on SEVEN dresses during my entire appointment time...I had no idea there was this rule, nor did the consultant inform before the appointment started. By this time I already had about 10 to 12 dresses picked out to try on. She did nothing to make me feel special. I felt like she was just trying to move on to her next client. I did not find my dress at this store, but I knew after the first 15 minutes I did not want to buy my dress from this location based off my experience alone. At the end of my appointment, she asked if I had any other set up and in her very not professional self, went on to tell us who their biggest competitor was in The Woodlands. Let me say this - Weddings by Debbie has nothing on Brickhouse Bridal - Brickhouse Bridal is in their own playing field, especially when it comes to customer service, gown selection, and overall experience. Would not recommend this wedding dress store for the experience alone!

I visited several bridal salons in the Houston area and was disappointed at every single one. Upon recommendations from MULTIPLE friends I scheduled an appointment at Weddings by Debbie! They were amazing from the start! They called me ahead of time to discuss what I was looking for and learn a bit more about me. The visit was amazing and they found the exact style of dresses that I was looking for! They were open and helpful about everything. Our appointment was amazing and I found the dress of my dreams within a reasonable budget! The staff were phenomenal in communicating any changes or questions! It was super easy to reach them as well. Loved the dress, loved the team and loved the experience! Will highly recommend to anyone looking for a wedding dress of their dreams!

I had a great experience at Weddings by Debbie. I was careful to stay on budget and unfortunately had to go elsewhere for my alterations due to their prices, which I would’ve liked to avoid. I was also fitted into a dress much larger than needed and and regardless of a great seamstress doing my alterations, which they had not overshot so much. But, overall, they have an incredible selection and the customer service was great.

I had a great experience getting my wedding dress from Weddings by Debbie. During the initial appointment, my consultant helped me find quite a few dresses that were my style (at least 10) and was enthusiastic the entire time. They have an incredibly large selection of dresses, more than any other shop I went to. I was able to find the perfect dress for my style and body type. After my initial try on with my sized dress, I decided that I wanted to add cap sleeves to my sleeveless dress. The seamstress was able to find the perfect lace to match the rest of my dress and add the sleeves. The sleeves fit great and it looked like the dress was made that way, she did an incredible job. Weddings by Debbie was able to accomodate many of my requests with the dress and I ended up with a perfectly fitted, stunning dress!

I had an amazing experience at Weddings by Debbie. My assigned consultant, Denise, called me a few days before the appointment to chat about the style I was looking for, my size, budget, and any concerns I had. She also had me email her some examples of gowns I was interested in. When we arrived, Denise showed us around and had already placed several options in my fitting room based on our previous discussion. This was my first time trying on wedding dresses, and Denise was very knowledgeable about all of the styles and fabrics she presented. I ended up buying the 4th dress I tried on!

My experience at Weddings By Debbie was perfect! My consultant was Lina and she was AMAZING! She was the sweetest person, so knowledgeable, and picked out my perfect wedding dress. She asked some questions about what I wanted, brought me a couple options and bam I found my dress my first visit there. The quality of their dresses is spectacular, the size range is amazing, and their customer service is seriously unmatched. Beautiful dresses, beautiful souls working there. Could not recommend enough!

Weddings by Debbie is amazing! I got my wedding dress and veil here. Lina was my consultant and she was an absolute gem to work with. I have never really tried on dresses before and had no clue where to start. She was patient with me and helped me figure out what style of dress I liked. We then found a dress that I fell in love with! Weddings By Debbie also did all of my alterations. I could not thank them enough for all of their amazing and hard work!! They added some fabric to make the dress more modest for me, built custom sleeves, and filled in the open back. By the time all of it was done - I couldn’t help but cry with excitement. It was definitely a dress out of a fairy tale!! I highly recommend Weddings by Debbie to anyone looking for their wedding dress!!

Weddings by Debbie was the third and final stop of a day of dress-shopping. They did require a credit card when one of my matrons of honor booked our appointment, but it’s because if we hadn’t shown up it would have been a $50 fee. It was rather crowded when we got there, and we waited for about 15-20 minutes before our consultant took us back. TO BE FAIR, it was a Saturday. My consultant was very helpful and allowed my matrons of honor and I to do the picking--she wasn’t pushy like other consultants I’d had that day. Once we went back, we were almost overwhelmed by the selection! There were specific areas that had certain price points, which was helpful. My dress ended up being the fifth or sixth one that I tried on- a Maggie Sottero gown. Though I didn’t purchase any accessories, they had plenty to choose from and I was able to try on my gown along with similar accessories to what I was already planning on wearing in order to get the entire picture. I ordered my gown that day after getting measured, on October 27th. They told me it’d be about March before the dress came in, but they called me January 5th telling me that the dress was in whenever I’d like to come in and try it on. It was easy to make an appointment to try it on that worked with my schedule. I went in and tried it on with my accessories, and then made an appointment for alterations to begin. They were apprehensive about starting alterations so early and had me sign a waiver, but they did allow me to start alterations in March for a November wedding. My alterations were completed in April so that I could take my bridal portraits in June before I moved across the country. When I took my gown for the bridals, there was a $70ish charge for steaming prior (which was optional, I chose to have it steamed because of the style of the dress) and (because I took my bridals outdoors after it had rained) I did pay to have them clean it afterwards. However, they stored and steamed my gown free of charge before my mother picked it up the Thursday before the wedding! They also recommended a cleaning/preserving service and if I use them, I can get a certain amount off. Overall, I was very happy with Weddings by Debbie and I absolutely ADORE my dress!

While there was one particular person that helped us and was kind, the rest of the staff here is incredibly rude. They make you feel like you're a bother for even showing up. The way they take measurements are as if they are purposely trying to put you in a larger size, probably to make extra money off of alterations. Majority of my bridesmaids ended up with dresses that were too big; how does that happen when they were all fitted in the store? Would not go back here and would not recommend.

I had wonderful time finding my dress at Weddings By Debbie. Jean was very attentive but I didn’t feel overwhelmed or pushed. I had plenty of time to look and decide on a dress. I also took advantage of the 15% discount on Bridesmaids dresses by having my bridesmaids shop here. That was also a wonderful experience. Jen is so helpful and genuinely caring. I am happy she was always there when I dropped by with one of my bridesmaids because we needed a lot of help. No matter how busy the store was she was always friendly and accommodating.

Everyone here was so sweet and helpful! They have a large selection of dresses and it is so nice to be able to buy the dress and have alterations done in one place!

Worst experience I’ve ever had. If you are a size 10 or over don’t even bother coming to this place. I booked my appointment 2 months in advance and asked specifically about sizes stating that I’m a 12/14 and curvy and they said we have plenty of dresses don’t worry. I said are you sure I wear 12/14 in regular dresses and I have a deadline in December I have to meet I’m on a time crunch. Yet again, they assured me that they cater to plus sizes because they don’t carry dresses in smaller sizes because it’s hard to find people to fit in them. It was the TOTAL OPPOSITE. They only cater to skinny with no curves. And wasted my time. On top of that there staff had an attitude and was not wanting to help me at all and made me feel like I was wasting my time and it was an inconvenience for me being there. After leaving there extremely upset because I was told before hand they had plenty of sizes from 0-32. We called around and found this dress shop 10 min. Away called Misora Bridal Boutique, they had the exact dresses I wanted in my size pulled and waiting me before I walked in the door, completely last minute. And catered in sizes to women that have curves, not only that but offered us drinks had put us in a big nice try on area (not stuck in a corner with barely any seating at weddings be Debbie) the second dress I tried on from Misora Bridal Boutique fit like a glove. It was amazing and was the same dress from the other shop but it was in my size and for $3,000.00 less that what Weddings by Debbie was selling it for.

Weddings by Debbie was my first and last stop of bridal gown shopping! I originally went in just wanting to look at dresses and see exactly what I liked and didn't like. My consultant that I had was amazing! She worked with me and listened when I really liked a dress or didn't. I had such great experiences every time I went in for alterations. Chantel, who's in charge of alterations is the reason why I can't rant and rave enough about Weddings by Debbie! She made me feel so important and beautiful every appointment! If you're ever in need of needing a dress for any occasion, this is the place !!!!

I love this place and these people. So so sweet and they have a huge selection! I got my dress, my bridesmaids dresses, and Mother of the bride dresses here and they were all absolutely stunning. 10/10 would recommend to everyone! If I ever get to be a bridesmaid or MOH I’m taking my bride here for sure!

I had a great experience choosing my dress at Weddings by Debbie. My consultant Denise called me prior to my appointment to get an idea of what I was looking for. When I arrived, we went over it again and her and I both looked through the racks of dresses to find what I was looking for. After trying on a few dresses I found "the one" and had my say yes to the dress moment! The manager measured me and recommended what size to buy. When the dress came in, it fit PERFECTLY!!! ( I know this doesn't happen often, but the manager did a great job with my measurements and size recommendation). The only alterations I needed were the hem and bustle. The alteration process was great for me and were exactly what I wanted every time. I would definitely recommend going to Weddings by Debbie to look for your dress!

I purchased my wedding Dress from Wedding by Debbie back in November 2017 and I just got married this past September (2018). I went to seven different bridal salons and Debbie’s had by far the best selection! The moment you walk into the bridal salon you feel special and feel like you are a bride :-) I worked with Jean as my consultant and she was extremely helpful! She Helped me feel confident in all of the dresses I tried on and really encouraged me to choose the dress that made me happy :-) When my bridesmaids came into town to narrow down which dress we were going to pick there was no doubt in my mind that we would find it at Debbie’s. The dress I ended up getting couldn’t have been more perfect and I only saw it at Debbie’s! Going through the accessory selection process as well as all the alterations was a breeze! It was all able to be done at weddings by Debbie which made it a one stop shop for a lot of my bridal needs. Once my dress came in I was able to schedule a second appointment to do my accessory selection, which was fantastic! One more great thing is that Debbie’s will store your wedding dress free of charge until your wedding date! Definitely made me happy that I didn’t have to worry about my groom accidentally seen my dress at our house. For any brides out there that wants a fantastic dress selection and a variety of designers, and price points, Debbie’s is your place to go! Book your appointment now :-)

Weddings by Debbie was my first wedding dress stop in Houston after trying other salons around Texas. I was super excited as I had heard great things, and they were able to squeeze me in on a Saturday after being added to the wait list. I read on the website of the rule "cannot allow any children 12 or younger", which to me read standard for a bridal salon. I came with my fiance's family ready to try on dresses. Once inside, there's a small tiny sign that says "no babies, no strollers." My future sister in law had her 6 month old infant with her. I had been to bridal salons before, and of course you do not want toddlers/children running around touching the dresses, but I had never seen a business turn away a woman with an infant. I made note that the website said "Children under 12" which I interpreted as not newborn infants (whom are being breast fed presumably) and aren't necessarily able to be separated for the 2 hour+ appointments. Still, she was turned away because of my 6 month old future niece. They wouldn't budge. We got off to an awful start, and she was sweet enough to wait in the car for us. I didn't want to be charged for the appointment, so I continued on trying dresses. My saleswoman told me where each brand was, then left me to pick dresses myself. We had previously spoken on the phone, but once in the store she didn't ask me what style I wanted, what price pointed I wanted to be at, give me any direction towards any type of dresses. Once I flagged her down after aimlessly wandering around the store and realizing every dress I was choosing was out of my budget, she then helped me. I tried on a handful of beautiful dresses, however the clips they use provide 0 support. The dresses kept slipping off of me (and I'm not a twig - about a size 6) and I could not get a good "idea" of what the dress would look like due to the baggy fits - whereas other salons do their best to make it fit as well as they can. I'm thankful for my helpful saleswoman and her kindness, however not impressed with the women working at the front, the lack of "no infants, no strollers" on the website (which I would like to recommend they now include for clarity - or simply allow newborns inside.), and would like to suggest investing in new, heavier duty clips that can actually hold the dresses on those whom are smaller sizes.

I went here expecting everything to be outside of my budget, but the team here works miracles. This place is absolutely gorgeous, and is actually a family business. It gives you that feeling of working with a small business, but has the resources of a large chain. First of all, I noticed from the beginning that Janette wanted to respect my budget and timeline (because my wedding is very close). She was really knowledgeable about which brands were in my budget and could be ordered in time. She knew which designers could expedite the orders and where they shipped from. She knew everything about their dresses, and they have a lot of them! Janette was so patient and nice when I felt indecisive. She even grabbed more dresses when I wasn't loving the ones I picked out. Janette helped me find the perfect dress and even helped me stay under budget. They scheduled me for a two hour appointment, and I thought that was excessive. After really enjoying my experience there I can see how they take their time really working with their clients to make sure you're happy. I am confident that you will love your experience here. They also have an excellent array of formal gowns for your bridal party!

This was the first salon I went to and they worked with us to find the perfect dress. I had really wanted sleeves and we tried on a lot of dresses. I found one I really liked but didn't love. They then convinced me to try on a strapless and I fell in love. Even better the dress was able to come with sleeves! I wanted to be sure it was my dress and went to another salon downtown and during that appointment I realized my dress was at Debbie's. So we called back and told them we were on our way! They stayed open a few extra minutes so I could get my dream dress that same day. I appreciate everything they did for me and I felt beautiful on my wedding day. Thank you!!!

I am very disappointed in Weddings By Debbie. I went for bridesmaid dresses. To be fair, the consultation/try on process was great. All my questions (and some I didn't know I had) were answered and they made it easy for my bridesmaid who couldn't come in to send her sizes for her dress. HOWEVER, that's where it ends. My Maid of Honor is 5'10" and we requested an extra 5 inches of fabric on her dress. I watched them write it on our order form. The dresses came in and it turns out they didn't tell the designer we ordered the extra length. Now my MOH is out $100 for the shoes she bought and can't wear. Not only that, the only response from the manager was "Sorry honey." We weren't offered a discount, refund, or even tailoring free of charge for the inconvenience.

I got my dress here and it was more then i could ask for the lady’s were very helpful and called promptly to have me pickup my dress. After bridals i had it pressed before the wedding and they were fast and prompt!

Weddings by Debbie was amazing. They have an incredible selection, picking the dress was very ‘Sat Yes to the Dress’- so much fun! And the alteration process was incredible- I was never concerned about the dress because I knew it was in great hands. I couldn’t recommend this place enough!

I had the absolute best experience dress shopping at Weddings By Debbie! Alexis was my sales associate. She called a few days before my appointment to get an understanding of what I was looking for. She did an incredible job during the appointment by helping me narrow down my search, making suggestions of styles of dress I should look at, and was very respectful of the budget we set forth. I was able to find the perfect dress at my first appointment! Their alterations group also did a great job, and was very attentive throughout the alterations process. I highly recommend because they have the largest dress selection in the area and have an in-house alterations group that will make your dress fit to perfection!

I had gone with my cousin to find her dress here and knew that I would be back for my own one day. That day finally came and I also found my dream dress! The staff was awesome and so helpful. My appointment ran way over as I was deciding between 2 dresses at the end. I liked that I could try in an unlimited amount of dresses too. WBD did not disappoint! Go here!

Upon suggestion from my wedding planner I came here with high hopes of finding my wedding dress. I was not disappointed! The staff were so wonderful and went out of there way to help me with anything that I needed. They had a wide variety of designers and styles for me to try on. I knew I wanted to shop at WD ever since I bought my prom dress back in 11'. I had always remembered them, and I'm so glad I went to them and purchased my dress there. Very friendly staff, alteration staff was just as friendly and everyone was a joy to work with. Alterations were easy and done in a great amount of time. The price ranges are awesome as well. I love WD and would highly recommend!

Massive selection here. Very elegant looking interior and I like that there are no children allowed. I found the most gorgeous dress that was everything I thought I didn't want--strapless ballgown with beading. The accessories department is ok, but many pieces are a little gaudy for my taste. Good selection of veils. The seamstresses are very knowledgable and suggested I try a French bustle instead of an American bustle--I'm so glad I did because it looked gorgeous on the dress. Service was excellent. We ended up getting bridesmaids along with mother of the bride dresses as well (my mom liked working with them so much that she got another special occasion dress with them). Overall, huge selection at a variety of prices and excellent service. Would recommend.

Weddings by Debbie was my lifesaver. I went to 4 different bridal gown salons in two different cities before I found this wonderful place. My dream dress was also found here! The staff is so unbelievably friendly and thorough. I had several appointments made just be sure that my dress was altered correctly, my mom knew how to bustle my dress (bustle lesson), the dress was steamed, etc., and each time I came in, I was treated superbly (even AFTER I had purchased my dress through them)! They were very flexible with scheduling as well. I was beyond impressed with this store, and I will recommend it to all of my friends and relatives looking for a bridal gown salon in the future.

I'll start off with the good. Weddings by Debbie has a large selection of dresses and styles with a range of prices. They're gorgeous dresses and really good quality. The girl helping was also very friendly. Now onto the negative. They don't allow children at all. There's a sign when you walk in that says no children or strollers allowed. I can understand rowdy children but I have a one year old who I was holding and he was not allowed in the back. You can find plenty of reviews stating the same thing with children even younger than mine who weren't allowed in the back. It was kind of a of turn off. I asked if I could try on dresses and was told yes, but they like to reserve that for brides who wanted to actually purchase their dresses because you get 10% off the first time you try a dress on. I ended up trying on dresses anyways but I didn't buy a dress that day. I can definitely understand why others felt pressured to buy a dress right then and there. I find that sales tactic unprofessional. People spend a lot on a dress and it should be something they for sure want and like without being pressured into it. I don't know if I'll purchase a dress from here just because I've seen a lot of negative reviews about poor alterations/alterations that cost as much as the dress.

I did find my dress at Weddings by Debbie but I did not purchase it from them for a few reasons. It started with a phone call a few days prior to my appointment from my sales consultant Denise. She proceeded to ask me some normal questions like "when is the wedding? what kind of dress are you looking for? who will you be bring with you to the appointment?" I proceeded to answer her questions letting her know my wedding is 11 months away. She answered me with "wow- well you know it takes anywhere between 4-6 months for dresses to come in, so we've gotta find you a dress today!" Then when I went on to tell her what I was looking for and my budget ($1200) she proceeded to tell me that what I was looking for was going to cost me probably $1500 and up. Those comments alone made me feel like she was really just trying to upsell me and was a turn off. A few days later I arrived to my appointment a couple minutes early with my friends. We had to wait about 15 minutes after my appointment time for my consultant who was running behind with another guest. She greeted me and my group to give us a whirl wind of at tour and seated my group in a viewing area. I will say I was impressed by the selection their salon had to offer- but not a bunch within my price point. Denise was helpful with pulling dresses, trying to stay close to my budget (still higher than I wanted) trying on the dresses and assisting me to the viewing area but still emphasized how important it was for me to purchase a gown today. Once "i said yes to the dress" Denise went to fetch her manager to take my measurements, who suggested that I order a size 10- even though all my other measurements were at 6 and my waist was only a quarter inch from an 8. She then proceeded to quote me over $750 of alterations to the dress!! (thats about half of the dress price itself!) The manager was also pushy saying multiple times that I needed to order my dress today. At the end of it all I decided to go with my gut and not order the dress from them- I found the same gown at another shop for about $200 cheaper and who measured me at a size 6- saying that my waist measurement would be flexible since my dress is backless. (this other stores sample was an 8 and it was still big on me by the way...) Overall my impression of Weddings by Debbie was nothing special. The salon is absolutely beautiful, with good selection of dresses and you will definitely have a full TV "say yes to the dress" bridal experience. I do think you will pay the extra money for your dress to get all the "fluff" and I personally do not appreciate a pushy sales staff or improper measurements to quote me very high alterations. All in all- go for the experience but save your money and purchase elsewhere at a better price.

I order my wedding dress here and the staff was incredibly helpful. I chose a strapless wedding dress but I really wanted to lower the back and add straps so the owner came out to review the dress just to make sure it was possible. They were super helpful every step along the way and especially since I lived in San Antonio and had to drive in for my fittings. My dress turned out beautiful and I received so many compliments on it. I highly recommend Weddings by Debbie if you are looking for your dream gown for your wedding. Incredible staff, a HUGE selection of dresses, and am overall amazing experience.

I had a wonderful experience getting my dress from Weddings by Debbie! There is a HUGE selection and I cannot rave enough about how accommodating the staff is. I was really on the fence about what color to order my dress, and they were really patient and helped me make my decision. Looking forward to wearing my dress in March!

I had THE best experience at Weddings by Debbie. This was my first bridal appointment, so I was a tad overwhelmed but the minute we walked in we were completely taken care of. The salon is beautiful and it spacious enough to where you don't feel crowded with the other groups there. I had my own private dressing room and a mirror in front of my family and friends to show them each dress. I ended up buying a dress that day! I can't say enough good things about this place!

I loved my experience at Weddings By Debbie. I visited a couple of other bridal salons, and WBD had the best ambience & experience coupled with the widest selection of dresses in my price range ($2500 & less for all you brides out there). I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 because the alterations were quite pricey, and I also wondered when I first tried on my dress if we couldn't have ordered one size smaller and spared a lot of altering. That being said, it was super convenient having everything done all in one place (including storage & pressing, too), and the alterations department, after my 4 or 5 appointments are friendly and familiar faces :)

The best thing about getting my dress from Weddings by Debbie (besides the gorgeous dress and how amazing everyone said I looked at the wedding) was the experience! They really make you feel so special through every part of the process, especially in the alterations department! The girl in charge of scheduling the fittings is such a wonderful person, and the whole experience was amazing!
