One of the main concerns we would like to address is that your review states that our photography team was late for your wedding. We take arrival times very serious at our company and our team being late is not only completely unacceptable but against our company policy. After pulling the RAW files from the wedding we are able to see that the very first picture was from the lead shooter (Amanda) of your robes hanging across the curtain rod at 2:32pm with a start time of 2:30pm. Which when accounting for the time it would have taken to get the robes in that position doesn't add up to them being late. We'd also like to address your other concern that our photography team rushed you on your day. After reviewing your gallery we can see that Amanda took you and Jordan to a total of 10 locations for your romantics. Two of which were off-site and had to be driven to. Per your request, she got almost all of your pictures done prior to your ceremony. All of your Getting Ready, Details, Ceremony Details, First Look, Wedding Party both groups and individuals and six locations to showcase the property all prior to your guest arriving and seeing you. We can see how when going to multiple locations there can be an element of feeling rushed because you are being taken to so many places. At Galway Downs, its such a catch 22 because we could easily stay in locations longer and not go to as many places and especially not drive to any locations or we can spend less time at place and showcase the property. Which brings us to your next concern, that Marcella and I were not at your wedding. Galway Downs is contracted with our sister company, The Studio where we have associate photographers that shoot in our name. This is clearly outlined in the contract that the two of you signed. In addition, we sent you an email on August 3rd-- that our system is showing as viewed twice-- stating that your lead photographer would be Amanda. Our intention was never to shock you or switch out the teams last minute. We do everything in our power to ensure that couples know exactly what they are booking when they book with The Studio. Lastly, we would like to address your final concern of your pictures not being like other pictures you have seen at Galway Downs. In all honesty, as a business owner-- it is our job to look at things objectively and to always be willing to right a wrong. From the very first time we saw your gallery, we thought it was gorgeous. We actually used one of your pictures in a magazine that is given to all other Wedgewood venues to highlight what we do as a company. We love your gallery and think it is absolutely beautiful.
