We established Weddings Down the Shore to help engaged couples who are planning from a distance to create the perfect destination wedding. We also want you to feel special and right at home with us. We believe in listening and creating "Your Dream Day Imagined", all while keeping it cohesively "YOU".

Michael was wonderful to work with when we were planning our wedding at Willow Creek Winery. EVERYTHING Michael did made our wedding day absolutely perfect. One of the most important things about Michael was he knows everyone so if you are planning a wedding at the shore - he’s the one to have planning your wedding! He has great vendor contacts and a network to share, which made the early days of wedding planning a breeze - knowing that all our vendors have multiple great recommendations. Additionally all the vendors we spoke to, spoke very highly and love working with Michae!! He was exactly what we needed throughout the entire planning process - he made it easy and fun! Michael was a magician on the wedding day - organizing all the moving pieces to create the absolute best day of our dreams! People said I was a very chill bride, which was very much due to the fact that I knew my wedding was going to be perfect since Michael was leading the team. He took care of every single detail on our wedding day, so we could simply relax and soak up every moment. He did such a beautiful, professional job and is genuine and sweet. We thoroughly enjoyed working with Michael and highly suggest booking him for your Jersey Shore wedding! Michael was absolutely amazing throughout the entire wedding planning process! My husband and I had to postpone two times and Michael was there every step of the way with support and enthusiasm! He went above and beyond to make our day absolutely perfect! He was able to take our ideas and transform them into a masterpiece and we are truly grateful! His team, Season and Cate ensured that everything ran wonderfully! We would HIGHLY recommend Michael and his team if you want to put your mind at ease and be able to truly enjoy every second of your special day!
I cannot say enough great things about Michael and all of his efforts to ensure that we had the best wedding possible. Our wedding date was June 5th, 2021 at Linwood Country Club. Our original wedding date was June 13th of 2020, however, like may couples, we were forced to postpone due to the Covid pandemic. Michael and his team were extremely proactive and immediately sprang into action contacting our vendors to ensure that they secured our new date. I will never forget how accommodating Michael was and made the postponement process absolutely seamless during this stressful time.
Regarding vendors, Michael is extremely knowledge about linking couples with the best vendors that fit all types of budgets and any "vision" for your wedding. Thanks to Michael we found our videographer, florist, band, hair/make up stylists and cake bakers, all of which we were thrilled with their services on our special day. Michael also secured us with our transportation services throughout the whole weekend. Guests were transported to and from the ceremony, reception and hotel areas seamlessly thanks to his excellent communication skills.
Another wonderful asset that we loved about Michael was how organized he was. The more he got to know us throughout the planning process (some meetings were held on zoom, some in person: he was very flexible!) the more he was able to make our wedding "vision" come to life. On our last meeting, a few weeks before the wedding, he completely put all of my anxieties at ease by creating a binder/packet that included a full timeline of the day, all vendors and their contact information, the location of where all items should be and when, our wedding vision, and SO much more. He sends copies of this packet to all the vendors so that all vendors know what is going on and when. This helped all of us out when it came to the day of to "stay on track" and ensure that we didn't miss any important moments. I didn't have to worry about a thing!
One final quality that I love about Michael is his incredible creativity. He truly loves what he does and works with each individual couple to make their special day come to life. My wedding vision included a "Topical, Miami Vibe" where I wanted my guests to feel like they were on vacation. Michael worked with me to create a vision board with a cohesive theme from the table settings, flower arrangements, extra touches for our guests (like a champagne wall and a flower-board with a neon sign to pose with!) and SO much more. Any time I needed an idea, or some help with inspiration, he was able to give me options that were exactly what I wanted. It was absolutely amazing to see how he was able to make my vision come to life and give us the day of our dreams.
I could go on and on about how much we love Michael and how our wedding wouldn't have been half as amazing without his assistance. He is proactive, organized, calm in times of panic, flexible and extremely knowledgable within the wedding industry. We had a joke within our family that we wanted Michael to make our wedding "magical". Not only did Michael deliver, but he exceeded our expectations. We can't thank him enough for helping to create the best day of our lives. We could not have done it without him!

Michael was wonderful to work with when we were replanning our wedding due to COVID. We had a change of venues and Michael was able to help my mom and I (and my husband, of course!) make our vision a reality. Planning the wedding (in about a month), Michael was exactly what we needed- easy going, flexible, and knowledgeable. He has GREAT vendor contacts to share with you. Michael made sure the venue looked EXACTLY as I had in mind and keeping us on our schedule the day of. Our wedding was perfect- probably even better than our original wedding would have been thanks to Michael's attention to detail and our fabulous vendor team!

There are not enough wonderful things I could say about Michael. When we originally started planning our wedding, we hired Michael for month of, and 8 additional hours. When COVID hit and we had to replan the whole wedding, Michael was extremely flexible with allowing us to change our contract to have him full time and was so dedicated to making our wedding beautiful. When we couldn’t find a caterer because of all the last minute changes, Michael came through with his own catering and bar tending team. The chef he provided was extremely sensitive to my dietary needs and still created the most delicious meal I’ve ever had at a wedding. Michael made himself available 24/7 to answer phone calls, meet in person with us and other vendors, and calm our anxiety about our pandemic wedding. He spent several afternoons with my mom picking out linens, dish ware, tables, and dealing with the tent company. Michael became not just a vendor, but a true friend of the family.

Hiring Michael as our Month of Coordinator was the best investment that we made for our wedding. I consider myself quite organized so I was not sure if I would need assistance, but I am so happy we incorporated Michael into our plans. He took away any ounce of stress that I had leading up to the big day and on the big day! My family and friends could not believe how relaxed I was, and I honestly I owe it to Michael :) He confirmed all of the vendors, helped organize our wedding rehearsal, and provided decor suggestions that perfectly fit my style. He took care of every single detail on our wedding day, so we could simply relax and soak up every moment. He did such a beautiful, professional job and is genuine & sweet. I just cannot thank Michael enough for everything he did for us. Planning a wedding during Covid was not easy, but Michael kept us calm, cool and collected as we navigated thru it together. The day of my wedding, Michael and his team took care of literally everything, and made sure that if there were any issues, they were taken care of and I didn't even have to think about anything. Michael is one of the sweetest people I've ever met and I already miss our hilarious phone chats!! Thank you Michael, and your amazing team, for everything - my wedding was PERFECT, literally everything I'd ever wanted - and I have you to thank.

We could not have done it without Michael! If you are planning a wedding down the shore the first thing you should do is bring Michael on board. He & his team are phenomenal! Michael helped us plan a traditional large wedding at a venue. When the pandemic hit we had to cancel our large dream wedding. We still wanted to get married at our family shore house, who helped us make it happen? Michael! He keeps your interest in mind, is thoughtful, caring, responsive, genuine, kind & so much more. Every vendor he connected us with was incredible and spot-on to what we wanted. I hired Michael and his team in December of 2019. We were planning a large wedding in Avalon. All of our family was coming from all over the country. Then Covid happened and things changed. We ended up doing a "micro" wedding and postponing our wedding till next year. Michael was so accommodating and easy going. He made us feel so at ease at such a stressful time.
He really is the best!! Look no further you won't be disappointed. Take it from someone who is a type "A" personality, Michael, you and "the team" were so great!

We hired Weddings Down the Shore last year for our dream wedding in Avalon. Michael was AMAZING!! He is so good at his job. He really knows the event industry and makes you feel so at ease. We were in the middle of planning at the beginning of the year and than the world crashed with COVID.
Our venue canceled us, we were devastated to say the least.
Michael came up with a plan to host it in our parents back yard at the shore. It was better than we could have imagined. He knows everyone, and everyone knows him. He took a crappy situation and made it our dream come true. In fact it was better than our venue could have ever given us. Do your self a favor and hire Michael and his team, they will take so much worry out of your day, plus Michael is the sweetest person, he is always there when you need him. THANK YOU for saving our day and giving us our dream wedding!!
Michael and his team were AMAZING (the day of our wedding and leading up to it). Michael was always a phone call or text message away and was SUPER helpful. Michael guided us through having to reschedule due to COVID and assisted us in the 2 venue changes that needed to be made. It was a stressful time, but Michael helped put us at ease. He was always hopeful and provided us with words of encouragement. I am so thankful we used Michael as our wedding planner! Thank you for everything Michael.

Michael from Weddings Down the Shore was truly the best investment I possibly could have made to make my wedding day a success. We selected his "partial package" and utilized his services in the last 3 months before my wedding. During this time, I was in my last semester of my Nurse Practitioner grad school program, and my final fell 3 days prior to my wedding. I knew I needed some extra help with the last minute details because I would be so busy with studying, but I truly never expected Michael to be the colossal saving grace that he was! Both my mom and I spoke to him nearly every day in the two months leading up to the wedding. He thought of so many planning details that would have never crossed my mind, that ended up being so essential on the day-of. He was such a presence of CALM and met every question I asked with refreshing honesty. On the day of the wedding, he effortlessly guided us through the events of the day with no absolutely no hiccups (that he let me know of, anyway!) By the end of the process, he felt like a friend to both my mom and I. He took so much stress out of the process, and made my day a truly magical one. Don't hesitate to hire Michael - you will be SO glad you did!!!

We met Michael almost a year and a half ago at a bridal show. He was so kind and helped us pick our venue. He helped us every step of the way. He knows everyone at the shore. Best. Decision. Ever. I don't even know where to start when it comes to thanking Weddings Down the Shore Events team for helping me put together my dream wedding!! Our wedding planner, Michael, went above and beyond throughout the entire process. Michael attended every meeting and offered the best advice and decision making support! We were referred to Michael and Weddings Down the Shore from a friend of mine who used them for her wedding at The Reeds in Stone Harbor. She could not say enough wonderful things about them. We had already talked to a planner from Northern NJ. My friend said I should reconsider that decision. Michael has a great relationship with the venue and knows everyone, maybe I should take that into consideration. I scheduled a call with Michael, and I was sold!! He is SO all knowing of the area and the business. He knew more than the snooty planner I was thinking of hiring in Northern NJ. We hired Michael and his team and it was the best thing we could have ever done! My friend was right... since he has such great relationships with the venues, we got married at Icona Avalon, certain ideas we wanted to do that they previously told us "NO", Michael got them to say "YES". He has such a calming presence. He and his team go way above and beyond to ensure your day is perfect! I am so glad I listened to my friend and did not go with a planner who did not know the area, and used the talented people of Weddings Down the Shore Event Planning. A picture speaks a thousand words and the photos of my daughter and her husband smiling the whole day and of me (the type-A mother-of -the-bride) non-stop smiling too, says it all! Michael took care of everything and we were able to relax and enjoy the day! He is very creative and very capable, willing to work with your vision while sharing his own and in the end making sure everything and everyone is in place so you have nothing to do but ENJOY! Hiring Michael was one of the best decisions we made--he is wonderful! He recommended amazing vendors and took care of all the coordination so we had nothing to worry about. I could not have imagined doing the wedding without him!!

I cannot say enough about Michael and Weddings Down the Shore! We are obsessed with Michael and all that he did to make our wedding weekend as amazing as it was! We had a lot going on with the rehearsal, the wedding and then a big BBQ the next day and Michael helped plan it all. Even though he was planning another wedding on the day of the BBQ, he still showed up to make sure the caterers and tables and chairs were all there and ready to go. Amazing.
Michael saw my “vision” even when I didn’t think I saw it and he made it the most elegant, fun, classy, and beautiful day of my life. I am so grateful for Michael for helping me (and my mom) plan this special day for Corey and me. He went above and beyond and helped answer my and my mom’s littlest or biggest questions whenever we asked. He was ready to help or give a suggestion whenever necessary. For example, the day before the wedding we realized the frames we ordered to hold the cocktail, remembrance, and gift signs arrived without backings to stand so I of course was upset and trying to think of how to fix this and my mom texted Michael with our dilemma and he offered his frame holders to use. Problem solved, thanks to Michael. He was just the best! Michael was calm throughout the entire process... he was excited and happy but patient and calm all at the same time... Such a great personality and we loved working with him!
If you are planning a wedding at the Jersey shore, use Michael! I cannot imagine my day without Michael being a part of it. He made it incredibly special and you deserve to have your day be as special as mine was.

Stop whatever you're doing and hire Michael now. We hired him for month of coordination for our wedding at the Icona in Avalon and I wish we had hired him so much earlier in the process. He thought of everything, made me feel so comfortable, and worked to make sure we could easily execute our backup plan when a Nor'easter rolled in and prevented us from being able to get married outside. If you're getting married in Stone Harbor or Avalon, hiring him is the best decision you can make! He knows everyone, makes really solid recommendations and is always available to meet and help with anything you need. He's also really upfront and honest with you during the process, which I really appreciated as the bride. He even helped us execute a flawless rehearsal dinner for 120 people. I can't say enough good things about him or his team. Thanks Michael for making it a perfect day and helping me stay sane!
I think we told Michael at least 7 or 8 times over the course of our wedding weekend that we didn't know what we would do without him - and it was so true! He kept everything moving seamlessly, and was there for Alex and I down to the last detail. My parents hired him for the "Month Of" package so that they would be able to enjoy themselves leading up to the wedding, and he ensured that they were able to. Michael is a total professional, recommended some of our favorite vendors for the weekend, was flexible and able to work with my fairly inflexible schedule. He took so much stress out of the process and I'd recommend him and Weddings Down The Shore to anyone. Thank you so much Michael!

We hired Weddings down the shore for our wedding weekend in Stone Harbor. We live in Northern NJ and wanted to use local vendors since they know the wedding scene the best. We found trying to plan a wedding weekend for our guests overwhelming! We sought the help from Michael and his team. They swooped in and put us in contact with vendors who were wonderful. Michael handled all of the details and coordinated every little detail. He has such a calm presence. One of my bridesmaids said to me.."he is the most calm wedding planner I have ever seen". We could have never pulled together the weekend with out him and his team. Michael knows everyone and all of the vendors love and respect him. Michael & his team are classy, professional, fun and extremely nice. From our first meeting - through the day after my daughters wedding, this team left no stone unturned. We hired Michael and his team to help us plan our wedding weekend in Avalon. I am an attorney who lives with my fiancé in Texas. Needless to say we had no time to plan a wedding on the east coast. Michael was there whenever I needed him. He was VERY responsive...sometimes at 5am!! He has wonderful ideas and is very organized. I know hiring a planner/coordinator is a big step, as you want to be a part of the planning process, but take it from me and do yourself the favor of hiring one. They take so much pressure of you. Where do I begin? Weddings down the shore was the BEST investment I made for my wedding. I grew up on the east coast, but I live on the west coast for work. Trying to plan my wedding in another time zone was challenging. That's when we hired Michael and his team. They were amazing. They swooped and took over and organized everything!! We hired Michael from Weddings down the shore for day of services. We hired him a month before our wedding because we were so overwhelmed. He came in and took control. Organized all of the details. Got things done in a week that took me months to complete. Some vendors were not getting back to me, when Michael came aboard he got answers right away. It was the best investment I made. He is amazing! he made sure the venue was decorated beautifully. He has such a talent. He is also a straight shooter. He didn't hesitate to tell me if something didn't look right. I loved that!! I am the kind of person who likes to be told that the truth, not "yes'd to death"
If you are looking for a great planner in the shore area, Michael and his team are it. Michael knows and has worked with the majority of vendors in the shore area. My husband said we would have never maid it to the altar if Michael did not swoop in when he did.

We hired Michael for month-of planning and it was one of the best decisions we made. I planned everything long-distance and having someone to take care of the last minute details the month before the wedding was essential. Michael was always available to meet the few times that I was in town before the wedding and was quick to answer emails. He had great ideas and solutions which kept my stress level at a minimum. He also found me an amazing makeup artist when others were not answering my emails. The day of the wedding I felt completely confident that everything would be the way I had planned and I was not stressed at all. Michael coordinated with all of my vendors and made sure the timeline was followed. The ceremony setup was beautiful, as was our reception. Michael was there to help throughout the evening and I can say that we had an amazing time at our wedding- Michael took care of everything and all we had to think about was enjoying every moment. Weddings Down the Shore - where do I begin. We had an outstanding experience from beginning to end. My Wedding was November 11th and Michael and his assistant were a consummate professional. We had 175 people at our Wedding and all of our guests had an outstanding experience. Michael Emens, the owner, was wonderful to work with. He had all of the details under control and had suggestions for a seamless timeline and does the set up a day in advance of the event. I plan corporate events for a living for a major company - and my credo is "trust the professionals".... Weddings Down the Shore are true and caring professionals. The one word that would accurately describe our event is AWESOME!
We hired Michael from Weddings Down the Shore Event Planning for design putting together our tablescapes. We got married at The Icona in Avalon. Michael said he used to be the wedding coordinator there, so we felt very comfortable with him knowing the place. Our wedding could not have turned out more beautiful. The linens he chose were gorgeous and he worked with our florist to design the centerpieces. He has such an eye for detail and colors. We hired Weddings Down the Shore for our fall wedding in Avalon. I spoke to Michael the owner over the phone and we immediately clicked!! He is so knowledgeable of the wedding industry and the local area. He is also the most patient and kind person you will ever meet. We signed the contract and he went to work right away. I must have emailed him 1000 times, and he never once did not get back to me. On the day of my wedding, he took care of everything along with his assistant Kristen. They had everything set before I even asked. Kristen was great in aiding the photographer on schedule. The day could not have been more perfect. Michael is amazing!! He helped my now husband and I plan our second wedding at a rented home in LBI. He did everything from setting up the beach to making sure the tents and set up was perfect. He then got behind the grill and helped cook all of the food which was to die for. He is truly a special person because he loves what he does and loves making couples day perfect. He is so kind and kept me calm the entire time. Even when my hair and makeup person cancelled five days before the wedding day, he called a friend and took care of it for me. When I started to research planners for my June 2017 wedding at The Reeds in Stone Harbor, I came across Weddings Down the Shore. I read all of the reviews and was very impressed. I then met Michael and I see why he has such great reviews.....He is everything people say about him and more. He has such an eye for detail, he is so on trend with decor, and is the most kind and easy going person who really goes out of his way to make your day a true fairy tale. We hired Michael from Weddings Down the Shore in November of last year for our June wedding. I can't say enough about Micheal and his team! He made my planning so easy, took great care in every detail, and was there for me since day one. We met with Weddings Down the Shore last year for our wedding on 10/01/16. We were looking for a month of coordinator to handle all of the details on our wedding day since we are not from the Jersey shore. We met with Michael and were so impressed with his professionalism and his vast knowledge of the area and all of the vendor contacts he had in the area. That was very important to us, as we wanted to use all local vendors. We hired them and it was one of the best decisions I made. Michael and Kristen his assistant took so much stress off of myself and my family. They made sure every detail was attended to. We found Weddings Down the Shore on The Knot. We met with Michael and knew right away he had to be a part of our day. He is so knowledgeable of the area and so many contacts. Our wedding ceremony was on the beach in Stone Harbor, and the reception was at a private home. He took care of everything from set up, finding a caterer, to design. I'm not even sure what to say first about how amazing Michael is. We were so thankful to have him spend our wedding day with us. To say Michael was helpful and great at his job is an understatement. I do not even want to imagine how the entire day and wedding would have been if we did not have him there with us. So many guests said to me during our wedding "Michael is so amazing, where did you find him? He's been running around and doing so much stuff, he's running the show." And the show came out better than I can even imagine thanks to him. I would have been so panicked if I did not have someone I 100% trusted there when I couldn't be. He was my set of eyes when I could not be around. There so many things that need to do done on the day of the wedding that as a bride you are not able to control, from setting up the rooms to making sure your soon to be groom does not see you too early to making sure the cake and candy bar are in the right spots. From the small details Michael helped with to getting our fireworks show in the sky and keeping me stress free, I cannot thank him enough. I cannot express how thankful Robby and I are that Michael was there and made our day as amazing as it was, we felt as if he was a member of our family and fit right in with us! Michael did such a good job at my wedding, I don't even want to imagine how it would have gone without his help. Before we met Michael, we were wondering how we would be able to confirm that every prop and vendor was where they needed to be the day of the wedding. He has contacts for nearly everything you can imagine. His makeup and hair team, Diane are top notch and very professional. He is the go to for anything and everything bridal. We hired Michael from Weddimgs down the shore, and it was the best decision we made. We had our reception in the backyard of my grandmothers home in Stone Harbor. Trying to make this happen from Maryland seemed impossible. After speaking with many planners I knew Michael was the one. He knew the area and had many contacts for vendors. He handled every detail from the rentals, to the food and drinks. He also handled my crazy OCD...Lol. If you are getting married out of state, especially at the shore, do yourself a favor and hire a planner. It takes so much stress off of you. Hi hired Weddings Down the Shore last March for my September wedding. I met with Michael and I immediately knew he was who I wanted. He just seemed to get me. I hired him for my day of coordinator, but he went above and beyond. He attended vendor meetings with me and answered my endless emails promptly. On th day of the wedding I was a wreck. He calmed me down and told me "we got this". After he said that I was like a wave of calm came over me. He executed everything I asked at the venue and then some. He is so amazing at his job. When you get engaged and want to do a destination wedding at the shore, Michael is your best bet. He has relationships with so many vendors and venues. Trust you me you won't be disappointed.

Everytime I had met or spoken with Michael he was on point with responding to any of my questions and could envision my ideas. He had recommended a lot of our vendors and everyone was just perfect and could envision what we wanted. Our wedding was not your typical wedding we had a country chic wedding on my fathers farm. This meant we needed everything from electric and water to silverware. The weekend of our wedding we had Nor' Easter and hurricane warnings and the only thing tented was our reception everything else was outdoors. Michael drew up a blueprint with more tents and tented walk ways and presented it to us. It was perfect and exactly what we needed due to the weather. The night prior to our wedding we had 60 mph gusts so not much could be set up in our tent and the tent walls were tearing it was not looking good I was so nervous!! The morning of our wedding Michael had the rental company re- securing the sides and replacing them as well. From the moment I walked down the first walkway I was amazed of how the decor was set up throughout and how everything was executed. It was absolutely incredible a dream come true. Our wedding was definitely not a walk in the park and Michael had to improvise a lot but he did the most amazing Job!!! This was the best money we've spent honestly. If I could give any bride a bit of advise. Get a wedding planner it will take so much stress off of you and Michael is fantastic. We feel like we've known him for years !!! Our guests have been ranting and raving about our wedding and there is not one thing we would change! Thank you Michael!

I think we pulled it off AMAZING!! I have several more grey hairs to prove it, but I have been doing this for a long time and I can honestly say it was one of the best times I had at a wedding ever!! You guys are really special!! We wish you many years of love and laughter together!!
After you read this review, the first thing you should do is book Michael for your wedding! I decided to hire a day of coordinator because I didn't want to worry about setting up at the venue or the flow at the actual wedding. I wanted to just enjoy my wedding day and know that someone was there to take care of things. Michael listened to everything that I wanted and made sure that it was all executed flawlessly. In the few cases I asked him to do something at the wedding, he was already doing it! We also had a couple of problems come up before our wedding which Michael helped us fix quickly since he knows the local vendors so well.
The most important thing is how kind Michael is and how easy he is to get along with. He got along so well with our wedding venue coordinator and they made an amazing team.
I'm so happy we hired Michael for our day of coordinator and I can't imagine our wedding without him there.

We hired Michael from Weddings down the shore to help us coordinate our ceremony on the beach. He was so awesome because I kept throwing changes at him every time I emailed him. He was so receptive. I had a rather large bridal party....20 people. So I needed the coordinator. He kept everyone in line, they did exactly as he asked and he made sure there was order. He set the beach decor beautifully. When I saw it I cried. The weather was beautiful and so was the day. I don't think I could have pulled it off without him. He was my rock and I recommend anyone in the southern NJ shore area that is getting married, hire a planner.....it is SO worth it, just for your sanity alone!! Michael was an incredible help to us, especially in the immediate days before the wedding. He's a great resource for understanding local vendors and the rhythm to making wedding decisions. He helped us set up our DJ and wedding transportation, which were great. My husband and I were married in Rwanda, Africa. We just came home to celebrate with his family, as they are from PA. My mother in Law put me touch with Michael to create an 'African inspired" wedding at their home in Avalon, NJ.
It was AMAZING!! if you could have seen how he transformed the deck of their home to a gorgeous oasis for us to gather. The florist he used created beautiful arraingments of tropical flowers that were breath taking!!! We have been getting so many people asking us where we found him. He is so good at what he does. there was not one thing i would have changed about that day, except for it to last longer. If you need a planner in the shore area, hire Weddings Down the Shore, you will NOT be disappointed. He knows everyone and when we need something, he would just make a phone call, and it was done. Luckily for us, Michael became our day-of-coordinator after being recommended to us by our amazing florist "Coventry Crossing" in Stone Harbor. From bouncing off ideas and rehearsal/rehearsal dinner guidance to calming our nerves the day of, Michael not only helped our day run smoothly but did a lot of behind-the-scenes work too. Our wedding ceremony and reception decor at Congress Hall was more beautifully arranged than I could have ever imagined. We were looking for someone to help us plan our small wedding for family and friends here on the east coast. We both are originally from the east coast, but work has taken us to Seattle. We reached out to Michael and he was great!! He took care of everything, even taking out the trash after the event. If you are looking for someone to handle everything for you with such dignity and professionalism then look no further. My now wife and I could not be happier, our family had a great day, and there was no stress. That is hard because I am a stressful person, but Michael made me feel at ease with everything.

When my now husband and I were looking for a day of coordinator for our wedding in Wildwood, we wanted to make sure the person knew the area as we live in North Jersey. I found Weddings Down the Shore on the knot and read Michael's reviews and thought I have to meet with him. Well let me tell you all the reviews are true and more. He know the wedding industry like the back of his hand. He also knows so many people in the southern NJ area. We used a lot of his vendors which were all AMAZING!! We supposed to have a beach wedding, but the weather had other plans. Michael was so calm, we really wanted outside, but Michael gave us his advice, and let us make the decision. We had our ceremony in the venue, and Michael took charge and just moved the decor inside and it was beautiful!! If you are a controlling person like me and it's hard to let go of the plans to someone else. Michael is the easiest person to trust, as he is so good at his job and has your best interest at heart always. If your are on the fence on hiring a coordinator, take it from someone who was there and was so glad I hired Michael, he was the best!!!
We first met Michael through our florist - Coventry Crossing Florist. After meeting Michael and chatting with him for a few minutes that day, we left knowing that we HAD to have him for our wedding day. As truly the best Christmas gift we ever received, my parents booked Michael as our wedding coordinator. From that day on, Michael was involved in every step of our wedding planning, through to the last dance of the night. Although Michael has endless knowledge of the wedding industry and creating the most amazing weddings, he supported our decisions and ideas and provided his insight when we asked. Giving us the freedom to make decisions, but guiding us and providing his expertise along the way made for an amazing relationship. I am someone who loves to be in control, so I knew the wedding would be something that would stress me out. While I didn’t think it was possible, Michael took away every fear that I had. He constantly reminded me that he was there to make sure that every detail went off perfectly, and that our job was to remember and enjoy every second of the day. As our wedding day got closer, Michael checked in constantly to see if there was anything we needed from him, or simply to let me vent to him :). As was the case with our florist, Michael started out as our wedding coordinator and ended as a friend. He has a true passion for what he does and went above and beyond any job description to make sure our day was perfect. He is also there for the rehearsal, orchestrating the whole thing. He stayed with me up until the moment the church doors opened for me to walk down the aisle. He continued to be there to ensure that the rest of the night went perfectly. When my husband and I woke up the next morning, it felt like a dream. We could not think of ONE thing that we would change, and we have Michael to thank for that. No amount of “thank you”s could be said for the amazing job Michael did. If you are getting married in the area, MICHAEL IS THE BEST!!!!

Michael at Weddings Down the Shore was our day-of coordinator for our wedding in Stone Harbor, New Jersey, and he also helped us plan a next-day brunch. He did an incredible job with both events. He was so attentive, patient, and thoughtful, and he gave us some great ideas for decorations and other details. He has a lot of contacts in the Jersey area and knows Stone Harbor like the back of his hand. He went above and beyond for us in the weeks leading up to our wedding and helped coordinate between our different vendors. He took the stress out of the process and was a true professional. I highly recommend!

Michael, while planning our wedding at The Reeds in Stone Harbor I met a lot of great people, but you are at the top of the list.. Couldn't have pulled this long distance wedding off without your help and advice. You were amazing throughout the entire weekend but without a doubt you helped me pull off the most amazing brunch the next day. You always went above and beyond to get us where we needed to be. Thanks again and hope to have another opportunity to use your services.
