We worked with Amy originally to book our wedding and Maura for our day-of-coordinator. We had a great experience working with both. Our guests (and us) were all consistently wow’d at the beauty of the venue, the delicious food, and the prompt and professional service throughout the day. We’re so pleased we chose Wequassett for our wedding day!

Our wedding day was absolutely beautiful, and the venue itself was stunning—truly the perfect backdrop for our celebration. The food was exceptional, and our guests are still talking about how delicious & gorgeous everything was. That said, we did experience some significant challenges with coordination. Communication leading up to the day was extremely inconsistent, and on the wedding day itself, our coordinator was not as present or involved as we had hoped (had to leave immediately after the ceremony). The venue did offer us another coordinator at our rehearsal who was downright rude when we asked to move our ceremony inside because the weather prediction was 50mph winds and rain, stating that was “a lot of work for the staff” and that we should “think about the guests, not yourselves, because they’d prefer it outside”. It did blow 50mph and our ceremony did need to be inside. There were several moments where we felt on our own to manage details we had expected to be handled at this price point. Our room also was not ready on the day of, which is where the men always planned to get ready. The delay created completely unnecessary stress (they knew we were an early check in for the better part of a year) but Wequassett did make it right and upgrade us to a beautiful suite. In the end, the beauty of the venue and the quality of the catering helped carry the day, and we’re grateful for the memories. With a bit more organization and attentiveness from the coordination team, it would’ve been flawless.

Wequassett was easily the best decision I made during wedding planning. I researched every venue on the Cape (and I mean every venue), and I found much to my surprise that Wequassett offered the best value. We first met with Amy, who was very transparent about costs and what is included in each package. I never felt like I was pressured to spend more money than I was comfortable with. We were assigned Megan as our coordinator six months out. She was extremely helpful in the lead-up to our wedding. She checked in constantly and was always available if we had any questions. We finally met in person at our personal tasting about three months prior to the wedding day, and we both felt completely secure with her. She really helped bring our vision of the day to life. Our wedding day itself was beyond fantastic -- words actually fail me. The only time I almost cried on the day was when Megan opened the doors for our private tour of the ballroom before the guests were let in. Megan absolutely nailed it. The food was incredible (guests keep saying that it's the best wedding food that they have ever had), the cake was amazing (Ashley knocked it out of the park), the food and bar service was incredible (Akira was our personal butler during cocktail hour and she was so attentive to our needs. Megan and Akira even bustled my dress for me, which my bridesmaids appreciated! Curtis also was incredible throughout the day), and, of course, the view was unbeatable. I would get married at Wequassett again in a heartbeat. Thank you to all of the staff at Wequassett for making our wedding day incredible. We had the day of our dreams, and we can't wait to go back to celebrate our anniversaries there.

Wequassett was an incredible place to get married. From the time we viewed the resort, to negotiations to our phenomenal wedding planner Megan Sugg, it was a dream come true. We had no idea how in-depth the planning process would be, and Megan helped us step by step, make the process as painless as possible. We had a few special requests, which Megan and her team were happy to make for us, including our food choices. And the food at the wedding was absolutely spectacular! We also appreciated how accommodating Megan and her team were when my husband’s father passed away one week prior to us getting married. We had many guests last minute who didn’t make it due to his passing and we had to rearrange our tables with only a few days to our wedding. Megan was so kind and made sure we were okay and was willing to make any changes that were needed so that our special day went off without a hitch. We honestly couldn’t have been happier at choosing Wequassett as our wedding venue. It truly was a dream come true! Thanks so much Wequassett, and to Megan Sugg and her team! They are truly remarkable at what they do! Everyone who came to our wedding so that it was by far the best wedding that they had ever been to! My husband and I got married at Wequassett in November 2023 and I cannot say enough great things about this venue! Wequassett’s wedding coordinators truly make the wedding planning process less stressful and helped us really enjoy our day without having to worry about any of the little details. Our coordinator, Megan Sugg, was so kind, helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. We met with Megan a few times leading up to the wedding and in each meeting she was so patient in answering all of our questions and providing recommendations when we asked for suggestions. On the day of, Megan and another coordinator, Alex, did an amazing job making sure everyone was where they needed to be and that all of the vendors knew the timing of the evening. More importantly, they helped us all be able to relax and have fun! We really enjoyed working with Megan and any couple who is able to work with her is so lucky. The venue itself is also amazing. The views are unmatched and all of the food served was delicious. We had so many guests tell us afterwards how much they loved the cocktail hour food and drinks and the reception meal. We can’t wait to go back to Wequassett in the years to come and reminisce on our day. Thank you to the entire Wequassett team for making our wedding day so special!

We hosted our daughter and son-in-law’s wedding weekend at Wequassett and couldn’t be more pleased with the level of professionalism, communication and quality of food. The rehearsal dinner, welcome reception, cocktail hour, reception and post-wedding brunch were meticulously planned, well organized and abundantly served. Our catering manager and planner took all the stress away as she was by our side every step of the way, responding to all our questions/requests in a timely manner and with great courtesy. Our only regret was that the wedding weekend went by way too quickly! Our family and friends are still talking about the beauty of the event, the venue, as well as the quality of food and top-notch service. With the beautiful early October weather, we thoroughly enjoyed the property’s amenities including the lovely pool area, clay tennis courts and stunning panoramic views. The wedding accommodations and festivities were magical. Wequassett Resort & Golf Club was by far the best choice for a wedding celebration.

We can't say enough good things about having our special day at Wequassett. From the moment we stepped foot on the property for our initial meeting with the Wequassett wedding team, we knew we wanted to get married here. Megan and Amy were so helpful to us as they helped to ensure our day went perfectly. Megan was such an amazing wedding coordinator that went above and beyond for us. The entire staff that worked with us leading up to and the day of the wedding was fantastic and so professional. Every detail that the team has in the way events are run is intentional and well-thought through. Not only is the resort the most beautiful spot on the Cape, the staff is top-notch and will ensure your day to be even more incredible than you could have imagined. We are so grateful for our experience at Wequassett and can't recommend hosting your wedding here enough. It will forever be the most special place for the two of us!

The team at Wequassett did a fantastic job with our wedding. The coordinator was very detailed, friendly and organized. She made our day run so smoothly and made us feel like we were in great hands. The venue is absolutely beautiful and fit the vibe of coastal elegance while also feeling comfortable. The food was delicious and the tasting process was fun. We loved having our special day here and couldn’t imagine it being any more perfect.

Everyone went above and beyond all weekend long!! Megan and her whole team were incredible! All the special unique things! They said yes to everything and made all our wedding dreams come to life! The food was absolutely incredible and they were able to make all the food I wanted vegan and gluten free. The views from every room were remarkable. I can’t imagine a more perfect wedding venue, wedding team and wedding weekend!

Megan was outstanding and you cannot find a better venue!! We look back on the day and agree that we wouldn't change a thing and it's due in no small part to Wequassett's level of organization, attention to detail, and experience. If I could give six stars, I would!

We loved having our wedding at Wequassett. The staff was unbelievable, the food was fantastic, and everyone had the most amazing time. Megan, who coordinated our wedding, was excellent throughout the entire process, and made everything perfect and as low stress as a wedding possibly could be. We wish we could do it again!

Our experience with Wequassett was exceptional! My husband and I were married at Wequassett hosting both our ceremony and reception on the property in October and it exceeded all expectations. Everything from the professional, experienced and attentive staff to the 5 star restaurant quality food and unmatched landscaping/views were incredible. Our event coordinator Kalson is the best the industry offers with his professionalism, detail oriented management style, communication skills and kind nature from start to finish. Kalson ensured the entire weekend was executed flawlessly and we are so grateful for his time. We recommend Wequassett to any couples looking to put their most special day in the hands of people you can whole heartedly trust. If you’re booking in Cape Cod, look no further than Wequassett. After 2 years of planning and excitement around this event - I was feeling a bit nervous if Wequassett could have lived up to what we had built the event to in our minds. I could not imagine how much your team and the venue exceeded our wildest hopes and dreams. It was truly one of the best days of our lives and the perfect way to start our married life together. We cannot even begin to list the number of compliments that we received about the ambiance, setting and especially the food so we can probably just leave you with our favorite: "We are still in awe of how beautiful and extravagant the event was while still being fun and down to earth - just like you guys; it must have been so tough to accomplish". While it may have been tough - you guys never made it feel hard, no matter the ask! On top of a beautiful ambiance, I am still hearing people gush about how incredible the food and the wedding cake at Wequassett is. We also had one guest say “this is the first wedding I’ve ever been to where I feel that I owe YOU a thank you card”! We owe a significant amount of gratitude to Kalson who likely deserves a place in the sainthood with his infinite patience, attentiveness to our needs and even ensuring I had the perfect bowtie tied before the big day. It is a very special thing that we had Kalson there to help guide us through the process while ensuring the planning was executed thoughtfully while also being a whole lot of fun. The entire team at Wequassett was above and beyond - from our friends at the Sill to Charlie the bellman, you dealt with us in the best way possible. While we get some R&R in Spain, we just wanted to send you a note of thanks - booking with Wequassett was the best decision we ever made and we were between a few different venues but just saw something special there. Either sitting outside watching the moon after our wedding or waking up the morning after the wedding in the Premier Water View room and walking over to the farewell brunch was a moment we will treasure forever. We are already looking to book our return stay for next Labor Day for our 1st year anniversary. Thanks so much for everything!!!!

Getting married at wequasset was a DREAM come true! Worked with the best planner ever, Megan Sugg. And from booking to dancing the night away everything was picture perfect. My husband and I will cherish this place forever, and ever!

We had our wedding at Wequassett this September and it truly exceeded all of our expectations. Our guests were amazed by the beautiful property and the exceptional service they received. The landscaping was impeccable, food was delicious, drink service was 10/10 and the staff was so kind, polite, and attentive as always. Our coordinator, Kalson, was terrific and so understanding and accommodating throughout the planning process. He made sure everything ran smoothly the entire weekend and relieved us of any stress. We also had our Rehearsal Dinner and Welcome Party on the resort at the Outer Bar and Grille which was such an amazing night. Our wedding weekend was better than we could have ever imagined. We have zero complaints and will forever recommend Wequassett, our favorite place on Cape Cod!

My Husband and I got married on 9.2.2022. Wequassett and Kalson Pang did an amazing job coordinating our wedding and making our day one for the books. Kalson is truly the best when it comes to executing your dream wedding. Not a single thing went wrong that day. The venue, staff, food, and accommodations were flawless. We looked at another venue (CBI) when deciding where to get married on the cape and Wequassett is HANDS DOWN THE BEST. Our day was so perfect and I cannot thank Kalson and Wequassett enough.

Spectacular wedding venue with impeccable service. Breathtaking ocean views for the outdoor ceremony. Beautiful covered outdoor area for cocktails and indoor area with large doors that opened for the reception. We loved working with Megan who paid meticulous attention to detail throughout the process. As mother-of-the bride I could not have been happier with the whole experience! Our daughter and her husband had the best wedding imaginable. The suite provided to the bride and groom was also gorgeous!

The quality of the food and beverages was outstanding, the location and event spaces were stunning, and the service was superb. Not only is Wequassett a gorgeous venue for holding a wedding, its staff is the cream of the crop! We postponed our wedding from August 2020 to August 2021 due to the pandemic but Wequassett was very flexible and accommodating during this uncertain time. Our on-site wedding coordinator, Kalson Pang, was especially attentive before, during and even after our wedding! He always anticipated the next step to make sure that everything ran smoothly behind the scenes and exceeded our expectations in every way. Our wedding day was the best day of our lives and so many of our guests told us our wedding was the best wedding they had ever attended. We highly recommend Wequassett for an unforgettable wedding experience! We were certainly come back to celebrate future anniversaries here!

We got married in July 2021 at Wequassett Resort and it was a spectacular experience. Every single detail of our wedding was planned and executed to perfection and although there were other events occurring at the resort that weekend, we still felt as if we had the place to ourselves and were treated like royalty. My husband and I had considered having a micro wedding or going to City Hall, but upon visiting Wequassett "just to look", we knew we had to get married there. We are completely thrilled with our decision and could not have asked for a better experience. First, the setting and scenery at Wequassett are the best on Cape Cod. We loved being able to have our ceremony near the water with a gorgeous view of Pleasant Bay- without the difficulty of having a beach ceremony. Our out of town guests loved getting a feel of the coastal environment, without having to walk in sand (especially some of the elderly/mobility impaired guests). The views from the Pavilion and the Garden Terrace are breathtaking and our photos of the ocean, gardens, and grounds are stunning. Next, the food at Wequassett Resort is amazing. We hosted our rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony and reception, post-wedding beach party/bonfire, and goodbye breakfast at Wequassett and each event was elegant but laid back, meticulously planned, and well-run. The food was delicious, fresh, and unique, without being pretentious or too unusual. Everyone raved about the food at the rehearsal dinner and reception, including the foodies and picky eaters. Third, the staff at Wequassett is delightful and really went above and beyond to accommodate every request we made. They were friendly and approachable to everyone and extremely professional. Even though this is a 5-Star resort, no one ever exuded an air of snobbery or standoffishness that we have encountered elsewhere at upscale New England resorts. The set-up for the ceremony and reception was gorgeous and at the reception, the meal courses, toasts, dessert, and dancing were handled flawlessly. Finally, we cannot thank our Wequassett Catering Manager/Event Coordinator Kalson Pang enough. I had read reviews on The Knot praising him, but even with that information, I was still blown away by how fantastic he was. Kalson has to be the most organized, detail-oriented person on the planet. He made the wedding planning process a breeze- so much so that I never felt the need to hire an outside event planner. He guided us through the planning process with expertise and helped us make decisions without ever embarrassing us for our lack of knowledge or making us feel stressed. He ran the rehearsal dinner and wedding day with confidence and skill and took care of setting everything up, coordinating our vendors, and making us feel completely at ease. I felt so secure on my wedding day, knowing he had everything handled. Overall, the experience was phenomenal and so much more than we could have ever hoped for. We would highly recommend Wequassett Resort. To anyone considering getting married at Wequassett, DO IT! You won't regret it.

We had my daughter and son in law's wedding at the Wequassett Resort and Golf Club on 9/262021 and it was amazing, from all the planning with Megan Sugg our coordinator she was absolutely the best. From the first meetings with Megan to the tastings, to the day of the wedding it was fantastic. Everybody said it was the best wedding they ever been to. The venue was spectacular, the food was point on. Megan guided us thru the whole day. Thank you Wequasett and Megan, wish I had more daughters we would be back for sure.

I grew up celebrating special occasions with my parents and grandparents (who are local) at Wequassett, and knew it was a top contender for our wedding venue—I mean, have you seen the place? Meeting Kalson and the team there sealed the deal. They were so great to work with every step of the way for over 2 years of planning, and make it so easy despite a year delay. The day itself felt effortless, because we were so well prepared and supported. There’s a back up plan for everything, but also room to customize the flow of your day. The food was amazing, from appetizers to late night. Our out of town guests were shown the best of Cape Cod, and our in town guests were also blown away by the seamlessness of the night. Just an A+ experience all around. I can’t wait to continue to celebrate special occasions at Wequassett with my family for years to come!

Wequassett Resort and Golf Club provided us with the utmost care for over two years for our wedding preparation. They seamlessly shifted our wedding date from June 2020 to June 2021, kept us abreast on any necessary wedding day changes, and made sure our day was everything we wanted it to be and MORE. We worked closely with one of the wedding coordinators, Megan Sugg, and we cannot say enough about her. She was extremely professional, caring, communicative, thorough, punctual, and more throughout our entire time working with her. Even throughout the stressful pandemic, she remained optimistic and driven to make our day work and be as normal of a wedding as it could be. Megan and Amy Farrell, Director of Catering Sales, made us feel instantly welcomed and at home at Wequassett from the moment we arrived on their grounds. From the food, to the organization with other vendors, to even our little details being met on our wedding day, we will forever cherish our wedding day thanks to Wequassett. We can't wait to visit again to relive our day!

Wequassett Resort helped us to have the wedding of our dreams! It is the most beautiful venue, with breath-taking views of the water. Everyone was beyond helpful throughout our planning process & day of coordinating/service. The food was amazing, all of our guests truly enjoyed themselves! I would highly recommend this venue :)

We experienced our dream wedding at the Wequassett Resort! Kalson and his team worked with the utmost professionalism and every detail, big and small, absolutely blew us away. He even allowed us a moment alone with glasses of champagne and hors d'oeuvres to process our ceremony and share sweet nothings before meeting our guests. All night long, he worked hard to make sure that we had the perfect balance of fun with family and friends, as well as precious moments alone to really take in the wedding. Our experience in planning our daughter's wedding was amazing from start to finish. Wedding planner Megan Sugg made the process easy and carefree. She was extremely knowledgeable, responsive and reassuring. Her personable nature put us all at ease from our first meeting and her presence (along with her staff) the day of the wedding made all the difference for our entire family. The Wequasett facilities and grounds are exquisite and created the perfect setting for our daughter's wedding. Our guests are still speaking about her wedding as the best wedding they've ever attended. Wequasett was our first choice and only choice for a Cape wedding! They exceeded our expectations.

I went for a tour of the facilities and wedding space with my family this summer. Although the ceremony and reception space was pretty, it did not add up to the price they were asking. This place is unfortunately way overpriced and the staff is rude. They have poor attitudes and do not pay you any interest unless you would like to pay for their more expensive ceremony space. My family felt very uncomfortable looking around here due to the staff and atmosphere being very stuck up and snobby. Although the space was beautiful, be aware of the potential to feel out of place if you are not from a very wealthy family.

Words cannot describe how truly incredible this place is. The Wequassett is THE classiest, most amazing, beautiful, and elegant place on The Cape. My husband and I are still in awe at how PERFECT our wedding day was. The staff here has a level of professionalism that is truly one of a kind. At the Wequassett you are treated like royalty from the moment you walk in the door. Every single detail of your experience here is perfection. Thanks to the Wequassett team, I had the most incredible wedding and can’t thank them enough for what they have done for us. But there is one person, in particular, who deserves the highest level of recognition: Kalson Pang. If you are lucky enough to get Kalson as your wedding coordinator, expect an experience of a lifetime. Your wedding day WILL BE INCREDIBLE. Kalson is an expert in weddings and has years of experience to show for this. He is extremely organized and meticulous which makes your wedding day run seamlessly. Every single detail will be PERFECT. My mom and I are extremely type A personalities and real perfectionists, and we couldn’t have meshed better with Kalson. From the first planning meeting to walking down the aisle, I felt so taken care of. I am also the kind of person who gets stressed very easily, but I was the calmest people have ever seen me in my life…AND ON MY WEDDING DAY OF ALL DAYS. My parents, husband, bridesmaids, and friends were in awe at how laid back I was. This is because with Kalson, I had nothing to worry about. I felt confident and at ease knowing Kalson had everything handled! It truly was an amazing experience. Kalson GENUINELY takes the time to make every single moment and detail of your special day the best it can be. I never thought I would walk away from my wedding saying: “Wow everything was absolutely perfect…literally nothing went wrong!” Kalson is why that was possible. He really is the best of the best. Thank you Kalson for making this the most incredible day of our lives. You are truly one of a kind, and we can’t thank you enough for what you have done for us, our family, and our friends. Wequassett is the BEST place to get married, hands down! I had the most wonderful experience planning my wedding at Wequassett. The venue is stunning, the staff is extremely kind, and the food is outstanding. I worked with Kalson Pang to plan the wedding, and I instantly felt like I was in great hands after our first meeting. He and his team at Wequassett know how to plan the PERFECT wedding. The planning process was so smooth and Kalson guided us the entire way. My friends and family were absolutely blown away with the beautiful scenery and excellent service at Wequassett. My husband and I are already planning on returning to Wequassett for a few days for our 1-year anniversary!

Where do I begin? When Bernie and I went for our tour of the Wequassett Resort and Golf Club in March of 2018 for our set wedding date of June 1, 2019 we fell in love with the property. It was what we had been envisioning how our chosen venue would be... ocean front with gorgeous grounds surrounding the resort . The venue coordinator took our budget into consideration and extended several proposals and then treated us to an amazing lunch; order anything you want including cocktails, the food was delicious! Needless to say we left feeling special and on cloud nine, as a future Bride and Groom should feel. After a solid week of serious thought we made our decision and chose the Wequassett Resort and Golf Club in Harwich, MA. to be where we would be exchanging our wedding vows and hosting our reception. We had a solid year of planning our wedding, consisting of many emails and phone conversations with the Wequasset's wedding planner , Megan Sugg. When it came time for our food tasting in what we selected, down to the wines, we know it was going to be something else!! . Megan ensured and delivered the most perfect wedding day!! Our day was the best wedding we had ever been to, lol and it was ours!! If we could give more than the 5 Star rating ... we would!! Thank you Megan and your amazing team! Thank you Weqaussett and your staff! We stayed the night before our wedding and loved our room to where we canceled our Wedding night suite at Wequassett and requested to stay in the same room! We were to leave the next day after our wedding but were so in awe of our visit that we extended our stay one more night. From our amazing room, to the food at both the Oyster Bar (lunch) and the 28-Atlantic Restaurant (dinner) , to the staff! The staff from the time of check in, our maid service, and the in between stuff to our checking out - absolutely amazing!! all with genuine smiles (seriously!). Bernie and I will have Wequassett Resort and Golf Club as the most memorable moment in our lives. We plan on making it our yearly anniversary spot, June 1 st., right down to the very same room. Thank you Megan with all our heart(s). Thank you Wequassett!! Yeay!!

If you're not sure if you should get married at Wequassett, stop wondering and do it. Wequassett is nothing short of a dream, and we could not have asked for a more perfect experience for our wedding. Everything from the first day we visited the property went smoothly and effortlessly, and every aspect of the day turned out beautifully. We can not say enough good things about every staff member who we worked with, and most especially Megan Sugg, who was an absolute dream to work with. She was so organized and effortlessly covered every single detail with us in the planning process, and made sure that everything looked and flowed exactly how we hoped for our wedding day. There was no question or idea too small for her to thoughtfully address, and absolutely everything we hoped for came to fruition. Even wrangling our large wedding party Megan managed smoothly, and they are not easily wrangled! It would not have gone so well without her, without a doubt. Each and every person we interacted with was so kind, thoughtful and helpful. The property itself is just stunning all around, and even though it rained and we couldn't take advantage of being at the beautiful waterfront as much as we would have hoped, it hardly mattered because the entire place is so gorgeous. All our friends and family have been telling us what a great time they had at our wedding, and how fantastic Wequassett is, and they are so right! We can't wait for our next visit and we will certainly return to celebrate special occasions in the future!!

I don't even know how to put into words how amazing Wequassett is. My wife and I have not stopped hearing from friends and family that our wedding was the best they had ever been to, and it is all because of this beautiful place and the incredbly talented and kind people there. From the minute we first visited we knew that this was where we wanted to host our friends and family for our big day. They took care of us and our guests at a level that I have never witnessed before, in a way that feels authentic and kind rather than stuffy or snobby. Our wedding planner Megan Sugg was absolutely the best-she was organized, kind, fun, and patient with every one of our crazy questions, ideas, and worries. The weekend, from wrangling our wedding party at the rehearsal, to the clambake rehearsal dinner and welcome reception, and to the wedding day itself, ran without a hiccup. The service both at the wedding and for our guests who stayed on property was flawless. Our wedding was the best day of our lives and we can't imagine having had it anywhere other than Wequassett.

My husband and I cannot say enough good things about our wedding experience at the Wequassett. The service, food, and property are the best on the Cape and working with Megan, our Wequassett coordinator, was fantastic. She made sure every detail was taken care of and was so helpful throughout the whole process. She made our wedding day so special and completely stress free. The only reason this isn’t 5 stars is because the wine selection was very low quality, compared to everything else. We had to pay extra for just average wines, which we weren’t originally accounting for because they did not share the wine list until very late in the process. Overall the experience was incredible and we highly recommend it!
