Westchester Marriott

Used for: Hotel for self/guests; day before welcome dinner; day after wedding brunch; shuttle for wedding guests. Susana Lopez and her team did a wonderful job with our guests and connecting us with the Cooper’s Mill Restaurant for catered meals. The shuttle to the wedding went off without a hitch, we were able to drop off guest bags a week in advance, the hotel was clean and accomodated a variety of our guests needs (handicap accessible, connecting rooms, etc), and they provided us with a lovely gift congratulating us on our wedding. It was wonderful working with a communicative and professional team.

I had my wedding reception there 10/08/2016. I was a very busy working bride, and was thrilled when my husband suggested this venue. Jessie was a miracle worker, and everything turned out beautifully! I felt so comfortable that there were back up plans in place for everything and that everything went so smoothly. From the guest rooms to the kings and queen treatment, we couldn't be more thankful! We had our after party at coopers mill and brunch for our guests in a private room. I can't thank the team enough and hope Jessie gets some rest for all of her hard work!!!

Jessie was our event coordinator and was able to establish a room block for our guests at a reasonable (for Westchester) price . She also coordinated a shuttle for our guests to bring them to and from the wedding. The shuttle was complementary for us because we had met the guest minimum. We also used the hotel restaurant Coopers Mill for our brunch the following morning which worked out nicely. My only comment is that the fall is popular time of year for weddings in Westchester and and when we had more guests try and book than the block reserved there were no additional rooms available, the hotel was fully booked.

Aside from a sweet suite that we reserved, my husband and I decided to have a pretty informal rehearsal/Welcome party in the hotel's restaurant. We spoke with Emanuelle and he was very accomodating with reserving a space at Cooper's Mill for us and our family. All of the appetizers we ordered throughout the entire night were great. I wish I had caught the name of our waitress that night because she was beyond attentive. No one was ever waiting to order a drink, no one waited for a drink. There were about 30 people and she was awesomely on point. Everyone agreed. As an added bonus, the brunch they served the morning after the wedding was awesome. We are so glad we chose this hotel and not something impersonal and overpriced in Manhattan.

I held my wedding at the Westchester Marriott in Tarrytown. The staff, facility, food and drink, and banquet managers exceeded our expectations!! Everything went exactly as planned and we received numerous compliments on a beautiful wedding. We were thrilled with our day and could not have asked for better service or a better wedding reception.

I chose the Marriott to host my wedding ceremony and reception because they were so quick on getting back to me and they had awesome reviews. I booked my event in August 2013 for the following June 2014. A few weeks later my event manager e-mailed me saying that we would be getting together in the next few weeks to discuss our visions for the wedding. I eagerly awaited the next email from her, however, I did not hear back. I finally contacted her in December to find out she was going out on maternity leave and that she would be back at the end of April to do the wedding plan (8 weeks before my event). I fought to have my event handed to one of her colleagues to get the process moving. Her colleague was so helpful and sweet. However, my event was given back to the original event manager. During the event several things went wrong and things went missing. My suite was not ready when I arrived the day of the wedding. The servers did not speak English so they were unable to communicate with my guests. The bar was a big disappointment as they did not have any of the liquors they advertised and the bartender did not know how to make simple drinks such as a malibu bay breeze. My guests were not served coffee, cookies, or cannolis that were included in the package nor were some of them given cake. I was not given the rest of the cake that was left over at the end of the night. The event manager even tried ending my event 30 minutes before our contract was out. These are only a few of my complaints. Overall it was a big disappointment.

I had my wedding there in March 2014. Everything was perfect, the food and service were incredible! The events manager was so helpful from the time we booked up till the day after the wedding.it was convenient for guests to stay there, we even had brunch there at the Cooper s Mill the next day.

The Westchester Marriot is super slick, with sylish decorations, two bars, a steakhouse, spa, and pool, so we were super psyched that they were available to host our wedding guests. They had great rates in the Fall and even gave us this most amazing suite for our wedding night and the night before. They some how missed a bunch of the favors for our guests, and couldn't give us any deal on brunch or sit everyone together, but the hotel itself was a very comfortable and affordable!

Westchester Marriott was a great place to choose for our wedding room block. They were so helpful right from the beginning! My contact there was so nice and easy to work with, and helped me with everything I needed. All of my guests were happy with this location as well. One guest left their Ipad in their room, and the hotel found it and mailed it right back to them! So honest and helpful, really happy with our experience there! Thanks Marriott!

They were very accommodating. Everyone was very hospitable and friendly.
