Since day one she was great to talk to, super responsive, attentive to every single detail, and we could just tell that she loves seeing everything coming together the day of the event. Her willingness to go the extra mile to help us was just priceless! The hotel ballrooms and exterior are beautiful and we were able to take awesome wedding pictures and videos. The food was great as well and all our guests were delighted with the attention of the staff there. We 100% recommend the Westin and you should definitely ask for Erin Markey and her team to coordinate your event there.

never felt more spoiled than we did on our wedding day! So much attention to detail, everything was exactly as talked about and more. Our reception area was beautifully decorated thanks to Kristi St. Peter; she made our wedding beyond perfect. I could not be happier with the outcome especially after a storm hit the day before and caused many power outages in the area including our church. We made last minute arrangements and moved our mass from the church to the hotel. Thanks to Kristi and her team we pulled it off, all of our guests were there and had a beautiful seamless mass. Our guests had an amazing time and I absolutely recommend the Westin Washington Dulles to any couple that wants to have a perfect wedding experience!

y as our coordinator who was so helpful in helping us pick out what we wanted for our wedding package. We then had Kristi as our coorditor and the transitor was really smooth. Kristi was a delight to work with. I mainly communicated with her through emails and she answered or helped me with all questions or concerns i had. She also put together my details so beautifully and more than i expected so i was definitely a happy bride. She mad everything stress free and that was what made it all worthwhile having it at The Westin. I would highly recommend having your wedding here. Both beautiful views and an awesome coordinator and welcoming staff.

They really did act as our “reception wedding coordinator" .Three days before the wedding I gave them all of the items for the reception and cocktail hour, and they set up everything for me. From putting out favors, putting napkin ribbons on, folding the napkins, placing menus, and even making sure my flip flops were under the head table so I could switch out from my heals, they did everything! We also gave the food 5 STARS. It was the most decadent tasting food and all of our quests had wonderful things to say about the meals. The wait service was excellent; I could hardly tell they were around serving the food. We were also given a complimentary suite to get ready in the morning of the wedding and to stay in the night of the wedding. One last great thing is that they are right next to the airport so it was easy to get to our honeymoon destination with the hotel transportation to the airport the next morning. were very excited to begin our journey with a brand new hotel! The entire planning process was made simple and I couldn’t have asked for better service. A few weeks before the wedding, I had a few concerns (as does any normal bride!) and I shared those with our coordinator, Nancy Vanesko. All of my concerns were taken care of immediately! She didn’t blink an eye. The week before the wedding, Nancy met with me and my family on many occasions to get things ready. The day of, my Husband and I pulled up in the limo outside of the Westin and staff there waiting outside for us. We took advantage of the beautiful scenery around the hotel and go some great pictures. The guest cocktail hour was held outside the main ballroom while our private bridal party cocktail was held in a cozy private dining room in the back of the restaurant. My Husband and I were then escorted to the ballroom to see all the directions before anyone entered. All our guests absolutely LOVED the food, and completed our decorations over and over. Once our reception ended, the bar stayed open late for us so that guests could continue to celebrate. The entire day was simply perfect and I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding reception!

phone calls and she was always available to answer our questions and requests. Because the hotel just opened recently, the table linens, silverware, carpet, chandeliers were all new and looked really nice. Westin also offered services in lighting and sound systems. Our cocktail hour and reception followed immediately after the ceremony. The spacing at Westin really worked for us because there is a long hallway outside the grand ballroom which was perfect for our cocktail hour. We had around 200 guests and the reception room was spacious and dance floor huge. Food was delicious, when we went on our food tasting, we were presented with a lot of options to choose from. Everything turned out great and Westin provided us with everything we needed. There is a nice pond and bridge outside the hotel and we took advantage of that and had a lot of pictures taken there. The hotel itself is very contemporary, we had amazing pictures in front of the textured wall in the lobby and also in the bar area. All in all, we were very pleased with the venue and very pleased with the coordinator Nancy. I think communication is vital when it comes to planning such an important event and Nancy exceeded our expectations. I would recommend this venue to any bride and groom.

ith Nancy Vanesko and she literally went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that not only the wedding party was happy but all of our guests that stayed at the hotel for the wedding weekend were well taken care of.
Every single guest raved about the food. I thought I would be too nervous to eat at my own wedding but I managed since Chef made me a special vegetarian meal that was perfect.
On the day of the wedding I decided I didn't like the backdrop behind the platform where the ceremony was to take place and they fixed it and made it beautiful. I was a handful and every little thing I threw at them, they fixed and went out of their way to make me happy.
The hotel itself is beautiful although I could have done without the carpet but to be honest, no one noticed once the dance floor was down and the lighting was soft and the lovely uplights were placed.
I did order my own linens since I HAD to have a purple and lavender themed wedding and had enlisted the help of my wedding party to cover the chairs and tables on the day and the hotel staff refused to let us lift a finger and put the room together themselves.
Everything from the food to the accommodations to the hotel staff was so lovely that I have no problem recommending them to anyone and everyone.
*They gave us a gorgeous frame for our wedding picture and it was engraved with our names and the date and the phrase "Westin Washington Dulles first wedding".
