Weston Hall - Located above the Weymouth-Braintree Elks

Weston Hall was the best decision we made in the entire wedding planning process! We worked with Mike primarily. We might not have had a fully worked out plan at the start, but we definitely knew what we didn't want. We did not want to be up-sold or pushed into a wedding that didn't suit us. We wanted a venue that would be all-in-one hall. We wanted the cocktail hour, ceremony and reception in the same room for 120 guests. Mike was very helpful from the start and had a friendly, comfortable manner that manages to soothe many of the worries. During the first appointment, they presented a booklet with all of the available options and gave us a tour of the hall. There are plenty of options for room setup and menus! We were in the Connolly Room which is drenched in sunlight and has a cozier feeling than a tall ceiling "function room". The tables were able to be customized with Mike from linens to dishes and chair covers/sashes. We brought our own centerpieces & arch, as we didn't really need to decorate much as it was already beautiful. We went with a nice cheese spread for cocktail hour (open bar mind you and not bad at all) , dinner was a great BBQ buffet with TATER TOT BAR (that's right, I said tater tot with all the toppings you could dream of & they were a HUGE hit), we brought a two tier cake & cupcakes for everyone. They did a fantastic job of presenting everything! The tables weren't just tables with warming stations, they took the time to present the food and decorate the tables. I cannot say enough about working with all the staff from Weston Hall. They made what can be a nightmare of choices and organizing an absolute piece of cake! They had great suggestions when we had questions about: the timing of the evening; where/when to take photos; best options on the menu & accommodating food allergies/preferences. We never felt as though we were bothering them every time we called or emailed with questions, which is wonderful! It's a tricky time planning a wedding on your own! There is so much happening at once that it was a relief to have a team available to just make it all work.
